Don't be fooled by the humble outside. I'm a birria taco fanatic. This is some of the best birria I have had in the state. They have some amazing, homemade fresh pressed per order tortillas. This place also stands out because the folks that work and run. It are incredibly proud of their food and they should be and the customer service is excellent.

Decided to grab a few tacos while we were waiting for our laundry next door. Ordering was confusing, it was kind of like you were expected to know the routine already. It almost felt like they didn't want to be bothered with someone who didn't speak Spanish. Someone finally saw my confused face and asked if I needed help. I told her I wanted to order a few tacos and she took my order and money. I went back outside to wait for the food. It took about 15 minutes for them to make it outside. While I sat in my car and waited, I saw the girl outside cooking while she was eating her own plate of food and doing various other things besides washing her hands before she returned to the grill again. Yuck! I got our chicken tacos, but was told to return inside for my Carnitas tacos. I went back inside again where I stood and looked stupid because I wasn't sure where I was supposed to get the tacos from. It took them another 10 minutes to get me the rest of my order. The chicken tacos were OK. But my carnitas tacos were disgusting! It was like they took some three day old carnitas meat and reheated it on the grill. It was dry and inedible.

I ordered a chicken burrito here and it was probably the best burrito I've ever had! The rice they used was on point and very flavorful. The cook asked if I wanted salsa with it and the salsa was good too. There's no air conditioning and the space is very small so it gets stuffy. For this reason, I recommend ordering to go. Customer service is okay. There's nothing to complain about.

This is my favorite place for Mexican food. Everything is made fresh and served hot. My new favorite is a quesadilla made with a handmade corn tortilla loaded with cheese and succulent carnitas. Though I am not a fan of two bite tacos theirs are so loaded with meat, onions and cilanto three bites are required.

They are nasty, they served old dry meat in they food. After spending $50.00 for old food they didn't give a refund. DON'T EAT HERE

We came here because it was the closest one available, and it's not a bad place if you wanna grab a quick pound for those spontaneous outdoor cookouts. Some of the meat does sit there for a while as they got brown around the edges and another drawback was that they didn't have the already marinated meat. I was told the lady there that cooks the menudo is one of the best in all of Sacramento but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
