We have been coming here on and off for 12 years. Today was the worst ever! I do not think we will be returning here. The lady first lady marked the bread at $2.40 the cashier charged us $2.70. Then the meat has a sale sign (did not get a picture) $5.79. Yet the bag was marked $7 99 and the cashier charged $6.99. When my husband questioned the cashier about the difference in pricing she got super mad at him. She told him she charged the amount she was told. Then juat stood there looking at him. Needless to say we will be going somewhere else from now on.

Not sure why the low ratings here....I was impressed! An early Saturday morning, after a late night, and my buddy took me here to rejuvenate.Just the smell of freshly baked bread caught my interest. We did a sampler...birria, carnitas, chicharones, ceviche, and it was incredibly good!The birria was fatty and flavorful...carnitas had a totally authentic taste....and the ceviche was simply on point! Next time I'm getting a torta with that freshly baked bread!I will definitely be back for more!

This store has and always will be one of my favorites. The language barrier is hard sometimes but we always manage and the workers there truly do their best to help in every way possible if they don't understand what your asking of them. Their taco meat is amazingly priced and I use for tacos, stew meat and so much more. Their Oaxaca cheese is always fresh in the meat dept I find myself eating it like string cheese on my way home. I can't help myself. They take pride in the appearance of their store with it being genuinely authentic and clean. They have everything from produce, meat and dairy to canned food, cleaning products and cooking supplies. Not to mention the amazing fresh foods cooked and sold daily next to their bakery with fresh pastries, cakes and breads. All around, best Authentic Mexican Store locally.

On The Internet, Yelp, And Their Front Door It says they close at 9pm I get there at 8:04 and it's closed so a girl comes up to the door and I ask you close at 8 or 9? And she said 8, I said your door says 9pm... and she walked away I turn back as I am getting in my car and another girl is looking out the window laughing and the one that's mopping that walked away is also laughing. I guess customers are a joke to them since they are the ones not respecting their hours!. So disappointing.

I came here while driving by decided to stop in, the place is really clean and the lady behind the hot foods counter was really nice. I ordered a half pound of carnitas and she gave me some grilled onions and jalapeños too! I also purchased a container of fish ceviche. It had chunks of fresh fish. It was fresh and soooo good! I got some concha breads and warm churros as well. I live 20 min away but will definitely make the drive back! I live near northgate but this is worth the drive for me! Also the meats at the fresh meat counter all look really good still try that next time!!

Loved the food and amazing fresh guacamole and pico. Had such a range of fresh baked goodies. And great and friendly staff.

Al pagar mi hijo con su targeta de crédito menos de 15 dólares la dueña le pide a mi hijo si ID y al siguiente día yo regreso y NO me piden IDNO SE COMO LLAMARLE A ESO UNOS SI Y OTROS NOY las muchachas arreglando sodas y la otra haciendo envíos y nadie está en la caja para k me cobren

Wow q mal experiencia tuve. Entramos a comprar pan dulce, la señora Valeria segun se llama, para empezar todavía estaban abiertos, y se pone a barrer la carpeta de la entrada que está demasiada sucia y llena de polvo en frente de mi hija que tiene asma, una niña de dos años! Se lo esta tirando todo a ella, por q se pone hacer esto cuando hay clientes todavía en la tienda?? Y luego vamos a pagar el pan, y estamos esperando en la Área de los cajeros por lo menos uno 5-10 minutos, y en vez de A ayudarnos, por qué los miró esperándola, se va con los carniceros a cotorrear y estar jugando en el chisme, no se debería de estar trabajando según?

Ima keep it 100 with y'all. I went in and asked for some Carnitas and ordered 3lbs and got home and when I opened the bag it was all raw? I have never seen this at a Hispanic meat market and I'm Hispanic myself. I swear I though they gave me a block of ham. And even after cleaning the fat out of the meat I was left with about 1lb and 3/4. I paid $30 for 3lbs of meat and was left with almost more than half?? Definitely never coming back to this establishment EVER
