Capoeira Batuque Sacramento

A little bit of time has past. A ton of progress and life's changed. I am profoundly grateful for Professor and his beautiful and inspiring atmosphere he creates for his students. For the Young, or young at heart. His guidance is spiritual and at times hypnotic for my son. His teaching brings joy and a bit of peace to my lovely little family. I do not participate in his classes, but his impact on my son has been remarkable. My son is more confident, focused, and smiles. Looks forward to class, reminds of the dates and time. I am Passionate about this beautiful art because it is helping repair damage and lends hope that all will be ok in the end. And if it's not ok, it just means it not the end.

My teens train here with Professor Feriado, I am pleased with his capoeira instruction and the 'life coaching' that he brings to his class. My kids always come home nice and sweaty from a great workout, I love that they're being positively pushed and challenged! His group is newer to Sac and we are happy to be a part of its beginnings. My teens have previously trained with capoeira masters and it's easy to see that someday he too will be a master! I also appreciate that his program is priced with families in mind!

My daughter has been training here since November, 2017. She is thriving under P. Feriado's teachings! In addition to the martial art, she is learning body control, cooperation, turn taking, and music. She has even had a chance to perform capoeira in front of a large crowd at the recent Carnaval event at the studio. Such a fun experience! I started 2 weeks ago. Capoeira Batuque really is for families! Even my toddler enjoys watching class. He practices the moves and music at home. You can tell that P. Feriado has much knowledge to share, and enthusiasm for this beautiful art form.

Professor Feriado is great at observing where you are at and customizing the class/workout while at the same time pushing you to reach beyond your current expectations. My family and I have been training for about six months and I notice a great difference in our discipline and self awareness.
