My mom loved the taco salad here - she would give it a 4.5/5I ordered the mole enchiladas. While the sauce was not bad the chicken was quite plain and the side of rice and beans were old tasting and looking! That was really disappointing to me. The service here is attentive and swift. We were seated immediately. We navigated the menus put in front of us looking for the well marked vegan items. The chips were nice and crispy with salsa the had a good amount of heat. I liked that the refried bean were not overly salty. Our entrees were lukewarm which was disappointing. Next time I will remember to have them leave off the vegan cheese as it's more for looks than taste. There is Tapatio hot sausage on the table and we both used it as the sauce was fairly bland. I will come back as there are more menu items I'd like to try.

They actually have two menus - a regular one and a lunch menu as well. Their menu is really big. They have burgers, sandwiches, breakfast food, and mexican food. I ordered the mega wet burrito, i was expecting it to be HUGE. It was still a pretty decent size and pretty good. Service was great also. I am going to have to come back for their burger.

With complimentary chips and salsa, this was becoming a great meal. Greedily, I squeezed in a Dos Equia Amber draft beer. Somehow this draft did not feel as fresh or delicious as I had remembered, but only $4. Pre-tax and tip, this whole meal was only $16. What a great deal!I had to bring some food back for my mom so I got the nachos and fajita quesadilla. The nachos were fine, but that steak fajita quesadilla was excellent! Another good choice for local Mexican food. If you like menudo they make it the old fashioned way. Don't have the taquitos though - they're dry and you'll choke on them. Great bar for your fav beverages. Lively ambiance and fairly prompt in serving you. Waiters can be nonchalant at times, but that's because they're hustling around and serving people. This place has become my morning breakfast place. Free coffee with breakfast and they allow you to look at the lunch menu if you prefer. The Shrimp was AMAZING, It is buttery and lemony and so so good! My boyfriend loved it. I just had bariatric surgery and I find that they have a lot of protein rich meals that are delicious, they also let me make requests to changes on my meals to better suit my diet now. The Huevos con Chile Verde is amazing and so is the huevos con Chile Colorado. And the Salmon Omelette is my new favorite meal! Most of the staff is so friendly and attentive! Must try place!

We went here because someone mentioned they had a vegan menu and they also advertised "Happy Hour Mon-Fri with $4 Draft Beer, $6 House Margaritas, and $3 Mexican Tacos -Chicken, Steak or Carnitas".There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. We had never been here before. We mentioned this to the hostess and there was no response. She tried to seat us off to the right but when we sat down, we heard a high pitch buzzing emitting from the lights. We asked if we could move away and ended up seated in the bar. The happy hour menu said Mexican tacos and I asked for one without meat. The server said they couldn't be altered, the special was only for the ones described. I wondered are they pre-made?! Why on earth couldn't you put salsa, lettuce and beans in a taco shell at happy hour and offer that for the same price as a meat taco?! We ordered a Margarita and she brought chips and salsa. The chips were thick and bland. The salsa was slightly spicy and good.The vegan menu offered "Enchilada de Championes (vegan): two enchiladas filled with mushrooms, spinach, and carmelized (sic) onion, covered with our delicious vegan enchilada sauce" for $19.99.My partner got a Chile Relleno Burrito, "Our signature chile relleno with beans, rice, cheese, and sour cream and guacamole, wrapped in a large flour tortilla" for $16.99. Of course, I wondered why my vegan dish was more expensive than the one with cheese and all, but I have experienced that before in other places.The margarita arrived and we dove in. It didn't taste fresh; it tasted like they used a pre-made mix. We should cleanly taste triple sec, lime, tequila, and it should be refreshing, but it wasn't.When my dish arrived, it had guacamole on the plate. I am allergic to avocado, so I was surprised I missed this on the menu description of what I ordered. I asked the waiter about it and he said the menu listed it but I looked online later and it doesn't mention it. I don't know why he had to lie and also he didn't offer to change out my dish nor did he care.There were whole pieces of spinach in the enchilada. That makes for an awkward and not tasty bite. (see photo) The enchilada tortillas were not filled very much with the three ingredients. The sauce was very good. They served a side of Mexican rice and beans on the side. The rice was mushy and both items were very bland.When we left, we discussed how we felt about our experience here. I said I felt that the two people working there, a man and a woman, never addressed us warmly. My partner said he noted that as well. I saw that they didn't offer warmth or friendliness to the other three patrons that came in after us. I guess it's just the way they are.Overall, I wouldn't go back.
