California Burgers

Food is great. Love the fried zucchini and burger. But the price and wait time is ridiculous. Restaurant is clean and offers plenty of seating.

It was a frozen dairy dessert emergency after having dinner. My husband suggested we stop and try this place. Very old fashion atmosphere and menu!We pulled up to the drive through menu, it took a bit for the worker to come. Perhaps they were busy inside? The malt machine was acting up so we opted for a Strawberry milkshake. A tad bit pricey. Husband, kid, and wife approved. No pictures were taken due the deliciousness.

I had a chili cheeseburger with fries.Burger was cooked perfect and the chili was on point.Fries were good as well.The man at the counter was personable and the food was ready within 5-10 minutes.Restaurant was neat and clean.I will be going back here again.Thank you for the pleasant experience.

Stunned when handed the receipt . Wasn't expecting to pay $30 for 2 cheeseburgers and fries . If I came back with my family of 4 . We looking at $80-$90 for some fast food burgers . Sorry just seems a little overpriced. No price was on the drive through menu . Or I would've just drove off . Like a bone head I ordered anyway and took it like a loss .

While the food is yummy here and we have been a customer for over twenty years, we are saying farewell today. The reason is due to the cost for a double bacon burger, single bacon burger, and two fries totaling $50.00! That being said, my husband wasn't even full this time! While we all face increased costs when we are at fast food (idiot Newsom), I could have chosen wiser had I realized that the worn sign on the drive through was yer another notice and not from previous visit(s), surely would have kept driving. They waited to collect money till food was ready this time too! Shameful tactics is my opinion to that new process!

Went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. On the menu the burger was priced at around 11.99, dude at the window charges me 13.99 and when I told him it says different on the menu he just says "no it's not". I then ask where my fries were, he said I didn't order fries. The whole bill was almost $19, hence my confusion about not receiving fries. I look at my receipt and sure enough nothing but a burger and drink for 18.88!! It was the most mediocre unimpressive slab of pathetic anyone has put between two worthless buns. Please do not let this insult to the burger legacy by purchasing anything from this place and continuing its failure at anything culinary and possibly unhygienic business practices.

Food was ok, but the onion rings was over cooked, and so was the zucchini fries. Very expensive place to eat. They charge $18.99 for a regular burger with pastrami on top, then they charge you for the fries.

California Burgers is a nice family oriented place. The best burger place in Sacramento. Best gast food chili in the world.

Used to go to lunch here frequently, but OMG the prices are so outrageous and the quality of the food was a "once upon a time!" Shared a burger, fried zucchini which used to actually be nice thick slices of zucchini but now more batter than zucchini that looked like fries that hardly had anything inside, and a medium soda that was filled with ice and it was over $33!! What?????? The burgers before had big burger patties and you could hardly finish it. Oh, and the avocado? One pathetic slice! Unfortunately the last time for me. I can't see this place staying opened with these crazy prices. Later that evening we to Sizzler and for $18.99 I was able ro get a steak and Malibu chicken...an entire meal for the cost of that dinky burger. Also...the drive-through had a sign saying that the prices listed on the drive-through menu do not reflect the current cost of food...so you don't even know how much you're paying for when you order. Nuts!So sad to see this happen to a place that I once craved. Last time I can afford to go here again.

First and last time here. My husband and I stopped by for lunch because we've never had it before. $50 for 2 cheeseburgers and 2 fries. They sell everything as single items and not as a combo. The patties are extremely thin and the fries have zero flavor. Didn't know when you ask for a bacon cheeseburger they put an additional cost for the bacon. Which is absolutely mind boggling. Save your money and go to Carl's Jr or Jack in the box right next door.
