A jewel of a museum for those interested in agriculture and the history of technology. What once was a private collection of early 20th Century agricultural machinery has morphed into to a non profit establishment. Restored farm machinery is on display in a large pavilion with a cute children's play area. Each display is curated with signage and pictures. Also other unique displays include a Lincoln Highway designator, a replica horse barn and an actual blacksmith/machine shop. There are docents available who can add background d info. And all free of charge.

Mini tractors kids can use inside the large building. Wooden train play area & great reading info on use & history of all the equipment. We visit this museum every time we are in the area. They even have heaters inside. My 4 y/o grandson loves it!

We visited the California Agriculture Museum in Woodland on a rainy weekend day. I saw many reviewers mention there are a lot of tractors, and that's an accurate description of what you'll find in this museum. There are rows of tractors from across the years in various sizes. It was nice that they had a kids area along with a long table set up for coloring. There is also a very small gift shop. Overall, a nice visit. The staff was friendly as well.

Something of a hidden gem. Taken my boys here twice, and they never want to leave. The staff is super friendly, the exhibits are impressive, and they really cater to keeping families engaged. I recommend this to anyone, it's up there with the California Train Museum.

Awesome collection of tractors and items that show the history of farming here in California. Very well preserved history of the various models and types of machinery used. Love the displays and information provided about the various tractors and where they came from etc. There are lots of options for discounts on admission like AAA and veterans and student. Come check em out.

If you like tractors, come here! Tons of tractors!! All shapes and sizes. Very historic. I've been wanting to come here for years... Finally had a chance today. $10 admission, but had reciprocity through another membership in NARM. Free. Yeah! Lots of tractors! Wish there was an interactive feature if you were a child in 1900, what your day would look like, interactive things of interest. Lots of tractors. Since I'm not really into tractors, we walked through in about 10 minutes. Well kept tractors, big tractors, small tractors.... Wish it showed how tractors changed through the years, or something interesting to those not really into tractors. I do respect tractors as helping us get our food. Three cheers for tractors and farmers and the role they play in our daily lives! Maybe highlighting families in agriculture... something to catch the interest of non- tractor people. Thanks for preserving history and a piece of the past.
