"After finishing my introductory month ($79 for your first month for new members), I was hooked. I signed up for a year of unlimited classes at Purely Hot Yoga and I love it! They offer a nice variety of classes: vinyasa, yin, Pilates (both HIIT Pilates and Pilates with weights and bands), and hot yoga. All of their classes have some element of "heat" to them, except yin yoga. They have a nice variety of well-trained instructors, each with their own vibe. Classes are offered throughout the day, seven days a week. Signing up for classes is easy through the app. The studio itself is clean and modern. There are showers, restrooms, and cubbies to store your stuff. I cannot recommend Purely Hot Yoga enough, especially if you are looking to get back into practice after taking some time away, like myself."
"Love the kids session. My kids look forward to their class time. Would definitely recommend signing up !"
"My experience at natomas yoga was interesting compared to experiences at other yoga studios. I would say to make sure you are okay with all of the studio rules before taking a class here because they are different than other studios. The first rule I found interesting is that you can only drink water when the instructor tells you to even in hearted (107 F) classes. They normally let you drink water every 4 poses. The next rules is that if the heat is too much for you may not step out of the class. They are very strict with these rules. Also their heated classes is with the lights fully on and the instructor will only let you do the poses they say the way they want you to do them, unlike other studios where instructors let you feel your body and do what feels best. Everyone has different preferences but having classes with these rules is not my preference. On a different note everyone was nice and welcoming I just prefer heated classes in a darker room where I can drink water as I please and listen to my body."

Really nice people immediately when you walk in. It was my first time at this studio, and the first time I did hot yoga in probably 4 years. A friend of mine goes to this location as a regular and raves about the classes being taught be genuine people. I felt extremely welcome as a newbie and definitely no judgement as we were going through the poses. There were 26 poses you do 2x each so if you're looking for cardio, this is the place to be!! I was sweating bullets. My knee caps were sweating haha (I know we have pores all over our bodies but come on, my knee caps?!) lol I had a great time and I definitely see myself coming back here. I really enjoy the 4:30 session, most of the people attending were around the same age group but they also have earlier classes and later in the evening classes for people who have to work. I'm sad I can't remember my instructors name but she was awesome! Introduced herself to me before we even started and gave me tips on what to do when I start feeling a certain way. Thanks purely hot yoga! I'll definitely be back!

I wanted to put out there that I've been attending Barefoot Yoga classes in Davis, CA., and I've really enjoyed the yoga classes taught by Mei, the owner. This is an unpaid and unsolicited review of her Vinyasa, gentle yoga, warm stretch, and yoga for neck and shoulders classes. I took the neck and shoulder class today. I have arthritis in most places, especially my neck and spine and her instruction really helped me to release the tension in a way that I have been unable to achieve at home alone. She's also respectful of boundaries. On my first class she asked about limitations and if I wanted hands on adjustments in class. I said no and she has been respecting my boundary for no touch. (I hear other people enjoy her touch, but it's just not for me right now). The only critique I have is that her "warm stretch" class is a little bit more vigorous than what I would consider a warm stretch (more like a slightly lighter Vinyasa with slightly longer warm up and cool downs). Please check out Barefoot Yoga. The studio is really clean. She has changing rooms, and a clean toilet area too. She has 2 week offers and also has other really reasonable membership plans and other flexible pricing options. There's parking and bike racks and is easily accessible from most parts of town.

This is the absolute best yoga studio for Bikram yoga, or any yoga! Unfortunately I moved away and no longer practice here, but I miss it so much. My new studio in SoCal really does not compare. Leanna and the rest of the team are all amazing instructors and correct students without being rude about it. I miss instructors who are normal and not weird hippies. :( Love you, natomas yoga studio!
