"Day 3 Stop 4Preface: We stopped in on a day when a fund raiser for the school system in Lodi was going on with their silent auctions, live music and entertainment. Heritage Oak Winery is a family run vineyard and winery. The property is aligned with a river I think leaving an all day affair at Heritage a good excursion. OK! No oak tree! BUT they do have a fig tree shaped to give you shade in the day where at least half a dozen picnic tables are situated. You can eat your snacks and taste your wines under this fig tree and if your timing works, you can pick the fig and take them with you OR eat them right there. During our visit, the owner passed and offered little shopping bags if you wanted to pick and take the fig with you. How sweet is that?I have my eye on this place as I understand they are great for activities albeit their own or events that support the community.Oh, Yelpers! don't forget to check in for your 10% discount"
"Gio never disappoints. Here's another winery not to belly up to the tasting bar to. But please allow a couple of hours and throughly taste and learn about the Story family of wines. We discovered this Georgian winery last year and fell in love. It's rare to find a winery that is willing or wants to spend almost two hours with a group to explain and describe what they are creating- an old world style of wine. Georgia is the oldest wine producing region in the world. Their valleys and slopes in the South Caucasus have produced wine for at 8000 years. Gio and the staff bring that heritage and knowledge to California to create some fabulous wines. Some Kvevri clay jars wines are available here. They have a unique taste of their own. Not available for tasting are two special labels created by the winemaker- Sokootok and Palachak. Knowing how great the wine here are, two people in the group bought a the bottles to share. Absolutely amazing. I ended up buying the Sokootok to bring home. Still in the fence about sharing. :). Situated in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley overlooking the Cosumnes River Canyon, you can't beat the views on a beautiful fall day. Taste, savor, and be educated. They have a large gravel parking lot. Simba, the rottie, is sweet and greets everyone upon arrival. Please don't feed him. He doesn't even ask. He just happy you're there."
"Great wine-tasting experience overall. This winery is in the city of Drytown in Amador County in gold country.it is nestled in the mountains and you see herds of cattle grazing on the mountains. There are 2 dogs there who like you to throw the ball for them, but they pay more attention to people who are eating. You see an array of ribbons they have been awarded in the main building, which has wine storage in it.Friendly service and lots of good wines to taste. There is quite a variety. The prices were good when we were there--i don't remember anything on sale as some have mentioned. It's a good place to take guests."
"Discovered this via the Passport to Wine as part of the Legends of Wine event. Miraflores participated in this event and, loving the wines, I thought I would venture out for myself to check them out. A little off the beaten path, the drive here is through El Dorado County and not too far from Placerville. Google maps may get you a little lost, so pay attention to where to turn instead of the actual street signs. Driving up, you will pass up the old tasting room and find the newer one with its historical and antique accoutrements. Loved the ancient stone sink as well as the metal doors which date back to the Gold Rush era. The affable pouring staff make the experience more enjoyable and tastings are only $5. Honestly I can't recall which wine stood out to me, as I found the majority of them to be to my liking, but they do waive tasting fees if you purchase a bottle. Fantastic little outdoors patio and I heard they do events here as well. Loved the winery cat."
"Always my go to place for a bottle of delicious vino... Staff is outstanding and the grounds are relaxing and the pond is so relaxing. Today it was a perfect day to relax and have a glass of rosé...."
"I could go on and on-- Nostra Vita is the best winery in Lodi! The best staff: Tim, Chad, Emily! The winery is beautiful and the wine is delish! They offer flights of wine and also of sparkling wines. It's a great place to grand the girls and relax with a bottle! So many great photo opportunities and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere!"
"This winery was completely different from the other 2 wineries we visited in the area. It was modern and industrial-like. I liked that this winery served food. I would have ordered food if I hadn't gotten food from a food truck prior to our stop here. We wished they had dessert though. They sell some pricy chocolates. I purchased the English toffee which was really good. The tasting was $15 pp. The tasting fee is waived pp per bottle purchased. I liked almost every one of the wines on the tasting list. We purchased the 2021 Harvest Widow White. Our server was friendly and informative."
"Such a fun place with a huge selection of beers on tap, wines and ciders, as well as a family-friendly, warm and welcoming space for kicking back and hanging out. We loved stopping here at a recent trip to Apple Hill for a little break and were pleasantly surprised at how large the premises were. There's plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, picnic benches and umbrellas, and even a field for picnics or kids to play soccer while adults sip and talk. We opted to go to the "Cave" which offers wine and ciders and meads, and were helped by a friendly employee. We got a flight of 6 ciders/meads at $3 a pour, which was a great price and fun variety! In order, our favorites were the blueberry cider, then apple cider, raspberry cider, peach cider, blackberry cider, and wildflower mead. It was so fun to try and we enjoyed relaxing at Jack Russell."
"We'd just left an amazing wine tasting nearby so, didn't really expect to have 2 amazing tastings in 1 area..but here we were at Davis Dean, enjoying every single wine that was poured!I thought his Chardonnay was really great in the tasting room, but it didn't translate as well when we had it at home. However, the Pitch Black Petite Syrah was pretty amazing! It almost felt like a port. All his wines felt well balanced and blended with perfection!Very cool guy who owned the place was serving up the wines and made us feel welcomed and at ease.I heard him thanking some Yelpers for coming in and I reminded myself to check in...low and behold he had a 15% off deal and I used the hell outta that...you should too!"
"Place was beautiful went around 12:30 we were the first ones there Kathy Stonum greeted us with a smile and was very helpful and gave us detailedInformation about every wine and about the property! We came on a Friday for an early Mother's Day wine tasting 1st stop was here at stonum it was nice and quiet. We decided to do an outdoor tasting on the patio and because we were the only ones there without a reservation there was 6 of us I would suggest that with a party of our size usually you need a 24 hour reservations because as I tried on the website for the day of it would not let me. Kathy was kind enough to help me figure out why I couldn't do a reservation the day of. Price was $15 and comes with about 6 tastings with the service we got we would come back she also came to us to pour our tastings instead of having to come inside back and forth which was perfect for our party! This was kid friendly which was a + because we had to bring a few of our children. Kathy did suggest to go to LVVR for more sparkling which was actually our second stop and it's only 3 mins away"
"Five stars alone just for the customer service here. Unpretentious, totally customer-focused and very easy to do "wine talk" with. I ended up chatting with the winemaker's wife. To me, Todd Taylor sums up the feel of what a "boutique" one-of-a-kind winery is like. For starters, there are no blends. And there are only reds. They feature single grape varieties from specific wine growers. From the tasting menu, the cab sav is the only one that is not locally grown - it comes from an area just north of the Paso Robles region. (I forgot the name!)The sangiovese was very drinkable - I am usually not a fan of sangiovese; however this one was smooth, balanced and not too fruity. But then, everyone's palate differs, right? The syrah (usually not available for tasting) had notes of pink grapefruit, something that I typically taste berry in. Very different! I can't say it was my favorite, but it would make a great bottle for syrah (or shiraz) fans for something a little off the beaten path. Their zinfandel is sourced from non-irrigated old vines, meaning the fruit is VERY concentrated. Wow. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here - I think it's great that there is not a tasting fee which encourages people to try the wines. Unfortunately I had just spent my "wine allowance" on some old half barrels for landscaping. But I am definitely coming back with $$$ in hand and recommending this winery to others!"
"We got to be VIP visitors on the Placer Vintners weekend. Lovely experience. We tasted a full list of wine and enjoyed talking with the winemaker. Love the old building and friendly atmosphere. We joined the wine club. Can't wait to go back for music on a Friday night."

Wine tasting was not on the menu today but here we are.... The winery itself is tucked deep within the many vineyards of Lodi. It's a very simple and inviting winery. Very bird-friendly; you can hear the birds chirping away. I love it! They have bird houses and hummingbird feeders hanging throughout the trees. The service was wonderful. Very friendly and social--which I love to see at wineries. Their wines are very good. I'm not a big fan of white wines, but I figured I'd try their white and rosé wines. I'll try their red blends the next time we visit. With that being said, I recommend their wines and if you are able to, I would definitely go visit their winery so you can enjoy their wines while relaxing and listening to the birds.

One our favourite wineries in California. Beautiful Zins, GSM, Barberas and other terrific reds, along with their Georgian reds and beautiful amber wines. When you visit, ask about their in ground, clay urns. Truly inspiring! Always a warm welcome for both us and the pups, and friendly, congenial service from the wine maker, family and staff! Couldn't ask for more. NOT TO BE MISSED!

We chose Drytown because it was one of the only wineries open in the area on the day we were there. That said, we were so, so happy we stumbled into this sweet little spot. Upon entering, we quickly realized that this was not your typical winery. It is very, very relaxed, and there were THREE dogs roaming around. It was a true dream. The owner of the winery was helping another group, but he was quick to greet us and get us started on whatever tastings we wanted. I will repeat: What.ever. tasting. we. wanted. Really. There were no "rules" or pre-set tasting menu. If they had a wine on the list they were selling, you could try it. The owner even let us taste a zin that had been bottled super recently so we could taste the difference between newer and "older" zin. It was amazing. As I said, this wasn't your typical winery experience. It was a super relaxed and the tasting room really isn't much other than a couple of bar stools at a counter. But, don't let the rougher interior stop you because the wine is delicious and not too expensive and they are SO kind. Would highly recommend!

After having a good time at nearby Smokey Ridge Ranch, my wife and our friends decided to continue the good times at nearby Boeger Winery. After parking our cars, we were greeted by the sweet tunes of a musician doing a cover of a popular song. As we walked into the indoor entrance, we were warmly greeted by an employee. She quickly provided us with menus and we decided to opt for two bottles of their 2023 Sauvignon blanc and a charcuterie board. The very attentive employee noticed that the board had everything but crackers, so she swiftly retrieved a bag of crackers from a back room.As we made our way to the outdoor area, we were enamored by the big trees that pretty much created shade over the entire backyard (this was such a blessing on what was a very hot October afternoon). After finding a table that was in the shade and allowed for us to see the musician, we cracked open our first bottle. As we got lost in engaging conversation with the live music as the perfect backdrop, we enjoyed the refreshing taste of the Sauvignon blanc which paired well with the offerings on the charcuterie board. Every now and then and employee would stop by our table to check in with us and see if we needed anything.Boeger Winery provided the perfect ambiance for us to connect, conclude our weekend, and be relaxed as we prepared for the upcoming work week. Before the cold weather rolls in, I would to return with a large group so that we can experience some of their other wine options. Thank you Boeger Winery!

I've been to this winery a few times in the last couple of years, and I must say the experience keeps getting better and better. The staff is beyond amazing no matter if it's your first time you are immediately treated like your family here this particular day, my friend and I we were starving, and our gracious host got us some snacks. These were the best snacks on earth and we were just so happy to have something to tie us over while we sipped on our tasting this day since it was Saturday was a full house, but that didn't stop the amazing service that was provided.

Nice winery located off Shenendoah Road. You can't miss this one perfectly perched perched uphill with bright red flags inviting you to come in for a taste. The entrance is beautiful and very spacious filled with wines and snacks for purchase as you taste. We made reservations and were sat outside in really comfy furniture. It was a warm day but the tables had umbrellas. We were presented with a menu and little card where you could check the boxed for the wines you wanted to try. Your glasses were then brought out all at once like a flight which was really nice because we could taste at our leisure. There were snacks inside available to purchase but they did also have a food truck onsite which was pretty cool. The grounds are large and so pretty to enjoy. They have so much seating so you will be well taken care of as a pair or a large party. The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines. Don't skip this one next time you're ready for a tasting.

The atmosphere was laid back and pleasant. However, I was underwhelmed by my visit to Jack Russel Farm. We did a cider tasting and also ordered the wildflower mead. The ciders were all okay, nothing great, but also nothing that could have been better either. The flavors were lackluster; most tasted very similar and were missing depth. I was hoping that as a brewery (in Apple Hill especially), there would be more potential flavors. I didn't notice much difference from the cider tasting at Boa Vista (which is equally underwhelming). I'm a big fan of hard ciders, and other breweries locally offer a much better selection with bolder tastes. The mead was unique but not my cup of tea. Glad I tried it through. The cider tasting was $18, and the pours were pretty large, so it was a good deal, just not that great flavor-wise. There was a BBQ food stand on-site, so we ordered a tri-tip sandwich with a side of the beans. It was good; however, for $18, it was not worth the price. I would not eat here again as it was nothing to write home about and a total rip-off for the portion size and quality. The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back. There were many picnic tables, benches, and umbrellas to sit back and enjoy your drinks/food. The farm is in Apple Hill, so there were pretty fall colors in November but not the best views. Unfortunately, they locked/closed their public bathrooms all fall season, so the only option is the portapotties. This was disappointing for the size/scale of the facility, especially since they are an actual brewery serving both foods and drinks. Not sure that I would be back, especially not year after year. However, it was fine to try a new place when visiting and do their cider tasting. They offer beer tastings as well (maybe the beers are better), but we didn't go for that so I can't speak to this. There seemed to be plenty of parking all around the edges of the farm (With the ability to walk up from 3/4 of the sides) so this was not an issue. Parking is free. Walk to the barn is generally flat, although it is gravel.

"Here's a spot in Lodi that will rock your world. Everything is awesome! The wines are very balanced and worth having in your cellar or rack. The whites are tasty white spot on flavor. The reds are full of flavor and body !This is a must while your in the Lodi area. Your server at the tasting bar is very accommodating. Her son the master wine maker is very talented. We're having the Zinfandel, fantastic !!!"
"Beautiful Vineyards and Delicious Wines. So unique multigenerational grape growing . Love the Teroldego and recommend to try this and the other varieties"
"15 minutes from Downtown Sac, inside the Old Sugar MillThanks to Fiona for a pleasant experience at Elevation Ten located inside the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. We had a 3:15p reservation for two. We had our Mom with us (not planned) but they allowed her to come sit with us while we sampled some tastings. Fiona started us off with their 2020 Clarksburg Pinot Noir Rosé... it was actually nice.Look for a majestic brick building, the Clarksburg's historic Old Sugar Mill, and Elevation Ten is on your right side. Masks were required to enter the building but not required inside the tasting room. My observation was people were just done with the masks and noticed many of the guests did not wear them inside. Inside the tasting room the staff was super friendly and our hostess, Fiona, was very knowledgeable about the wines they offered. We did like the Pinot Noir Rosé but we asked about the dessert wine, she suggested we try a chocolate flight with the After Ten Port Style Wine. Oh my, what a delightful pairing. We ended up purchasing a bottle that came with a box set of dark chocolate. I also got a bottle of their Guilty Garlic Olive Oil. Cheers!Review #2302"
"We decided to visit Rancho Roble Sunday . We had gone a previous time on a date night with out the kiddos .This time we had the kids and we knew that we were just going for a short period of time. They have a small play structure that the kids were playing at. They have a very nice pond in the middle of the property. They are kid and dog friendly but there is signs everywhere to keep your kids with you at all times and not to let them go near the pond so it does not feel that kid friendly lol . I think if you want more of a kid, friendly winery I suggest you go to Dono dal cielo . When we purchased our bottle of wine Bryanna was super helpful on explaining the wines to us, and she let us have a few samples of other ones before we purchased our bottle . She was very friendly and attentive! We really enjoyed the wine here ! The property is beautiful ! They have portal potty bathrooms on the property you can use . There is also a photo wall to take pictures . They have food truck and live music on certain days also . Overall we would come back again for the wine and the beautiful property. Glad to have the wine trail so close to us ."
"Super charming little vineyard that's located near the beginning of Apple Hill! Decided to do a little wine tasting during my recent trip to Apple land, and Fenton Herriot was such a fun stop. I loved how low key and relaxing this vineyard was. As soon as I walked onto the property, I knew that I would enjoy myself. I made a reservation ahead of time, but it wasn't too busy on a late Saturday afternoon. They actually accept walk-ins but seating is limited. The estate is so adorable! They've got lots of picnic tables that are spread out even more than the required 6 feet of distance. A few of them are in the sun, and they also have a section where you can taste underneath their beautiful gazebo while overlooking their vineyards. Service was excellent! Cindy was manning the fort by herself for the majority of the time, but she did an awesome job! She was super knowledgeable and made sure to check in on me several times while I was there. They also have a few bocce ball courts on the property and they are dog friendly. I witnessed them sanitizing and cleaning in between guests, so they are definitely COVID-friendly as well. The way that they do it during COVID is flight style. You choose five wines to taste off of their tasting menu, and they bring you a small paddle board with pre-poured wines and your wine glass. A tasting flight is $7 which is waived with a bottle purchase. The price per bottle is extremely reasonable here. Aah, the joys of tasting outside of the expensive Napa and Sonoma valleys. They also serve light bites here if you get hungry which is a plus, but you can also bring your own food in. If I'm being truthful, I generally don't care too much for the wine and/or the wineries out here on Apple Hill. Besides the Barbera, it's been hard to find a good wine out in this valley that I actually like. BUT, Fenton Herriot's wine was actually very tasty! I ended up taking a bottle of their Jane Way white blend home. I was super happy to find a few wines that I enjoyed tasting. Here a few of my wine notes for my fellow winos who are looking to taste here:*Jane Way white blend: My favorite of everything that I tried and apparently a hot seller! This was a mix of Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. Super fruity, sweet, and lightly acidic. Very drinkable and super refreshing on a warm day. Loved this wine and have already finished the bottle since my visit. *Sangiovese Rosé - A beautiful hue with a fragrantly fruity smell! A bit heavy for a Rosé and very floral. I enjoy floral wines but this was a bit more floral than fruity for my taste. The white blend was more my style, but this was still decent.*Sangiovese - A true Sangiovese with lots of dark flavors like chocolate and cherry. Some spice but very tannic on the finish. It does linger but not the best if you're not into the tannins. *Socially distant lot 1 - Super fruity with lots of flavor. A great everyday red. Definitely a table style wine that would pair with lots of different foods. *Jake Way - A beautiful blend of Sangio, Syrah, and Tempranillo. Super smooth and silky finish, well balanced. My favorite red of the bunch that I tried. Very drinkable.*Gewurtztraminer - This was actually a bonus pour that Cindy graciously poured for me after I expressed some interest in trying it. I love Gewurtz, but this one was just too acidic for me. Not as soft and crisp as I'm used to. Wasn't my favorite, but it as worth a try. All in all, I really enjoyed my time here. The views are beautiful, the service is wonderful, the wine is good, and the atmosphere is super relaxing. Definitely one of the better wineries that I've visited while on Apple Hill. Would love to visit again sometime."
"Shawn was awesome. Some exemplary customer service. We were there for their fist concert of the 2024 season. It's a nice intimate venue that's well shaded by the buildings and the tall oaks. Outside food and beverage is welcome with the exception of outside alcohol. It was a warm day but there was a swamp cooler for a quick chill down. The tasting room was also well chilled. There was a nice selection of charcuterie and cheeses for purchase. There was also other nibbles and snacks to round out the offerings. Let's not forget the wonderful selection of wines to get your dancing moves well lubricated. Don't forget your dd. It's a fun time for all. Weeeeee!!"
"While wine tasting for my birthday, my husband, and I decided to come to Julietta winery. We had our two dogs with us and we were glad that they were dog-friendly, however, had pretty stringent restrictions as to where you could sit if you had a dog with you. We ended up sitting in some gravel away from a lot of the noise and commotion. They had a live band playing, which was nice, albeit the volume could have been turned down a little bit. My husband and I practically had to shout to have a conversation with each other. This is a winery and not a music venue. Our waitress was kind but not very attentive and we were often having to flag her down or go find her to get a refill on our wine or place an order for a bite to eat. All in all decent winery down in the Delta, but not at the very top of my list of spots to visit."
"Helwig was the last stop for us in Amador County. I read the reviews on this place and will say I have to agree with most of it; good, bad or otherwise. Here is my story:Yes, the place seems "weird" and the employees are in a world all their own. But the flip side is they are a great winery and they have some decent wines for a decent price. They are also helpful if you're looking for a weekend getaway. Pick your weekends wisely. Check on their entertainment schedule. You might be able to kill two birds with one stone's throw. Their property hosts some decent bands and they also have food trucks and stuff. So, weird or no, go check them out! By the way their production might not be large enough for retail distribution so another reason to stop in"
"On a sunny Saturday afternoon, my husband and I came to Grand Island Vineyards to do some wine tasting. He made a reservation for 12:30 and we brought our dogs with us. Ironically, we had the entire place to ourselves, which was actually quite nice. We had a wonderful wine tasting experience and thoroughly enjoyed the varieties of wine that were sampled. It was also fun and informative to learn about the different varieties of grapes and how each was processed to produce the finish product. The location itself is beautiful and a nice open space for anyone looking to go wine tasting down in the Delta region."
"Great view and very friendly staff. All the wines we tasted were great. They also brew their own beer which my husband really enjoyed."
"Have not had a personal event here.Have however been to many events held by the winery. The rustic design makes for a great feel and vibe.Outdoor seating areas in the back and side under the canopy of a huge tree.Views of the vineyards abound from every angle. The barn is open at both ends to allow airflow. Can be cool in the fall and winter. There are propane heaters throughout. Has a kitchen for food/catering."
"Excellent tasting today! Great whites great reds ! Along with an assortment of chocolate treats. Peter you are making magnificent wine! This is always amazing. Thank you!!!!"
"This place was great. Very dog friendly. Able to bring the dog inside and they have a grassy area and a dog a dog waste station. $15 for a flight of wine and it was a good pour. Enough to share even. We got 4 bottles of rh Blanc De Blancs. It's so crisp and refreshing. My boyfriend doesn't really like bubbles but loved this!!!Staff super friendly and nice. Nice outside patio and seating area. Love this place."
"First time in and we had the best experience! We didn't make reservations and it was a PACKED Saturday afternoon! We got a cute little area for two with the perfect photo op background. Lauren was pouring for us and she was absolutely wonderful. They were doing a wine and chocolate paining as well as a wine cheese pairing. I went with the cheese pairing and it was insanely good! Who doesn't love wine and cheese?! Lauren was excellent at explaining the wines as well as the pairings. We also got to meet Ken and talk wonderful stories with him which was so incredible and made our first visit so memorable. The last wine we were able to taste out of the barrel! That's some thing I had never done before and it was really exciting! I will definitely be back!"
"Yummy Yorba, YASSS!SITREPState HWY 49 which runs through Amador County has a very pleasant stop in the hamlet of Sutter Creek. "Beautiful winery really nice exterior. Big wooden doors lead to the interior. Nice tasting room with attentive staff. You get a cheese and salami side with a winetasting."
"Huge ranch style winery with plenty of grounds available for an event. We attended the Big Bounce America event here but it's also a popular wedding venue among other things. We even got a chance to see a few horses and cows! The wine bar was open during our event and their wine slushy was the perfect amount of ice and sweetness to help beat the heat. Would like to come back to try their other wines."
"Very cute winery, I always see weddings and events going on here. The seller is located below the building and it has a beautiful rustic vibe. It's always decorated so beautifully, especially around the holidays. The person pouring is really knowledgeable about all the wines and is really friendly, they always give us a really deep insight on each bottle. There is a beautiful room in the back where you can sit and enjoy your tastings, which is what we did! Always a repeat stop on my winetasting tour in Placerville :)"

"http://isletoncajunfestival.netAm I on another planet? This is another happy place on Earth! First time at this festival, there's always a first time for everything. People are so friendly, young & old dancing to Zydeco tunes. It's like being in NOLA, but we're in Lodi. Who knew there are Cajuns in Lodi, CA? LOLThis goes to show you we can party anywhere & everywhere. Good music, fun people, awesome foods, family-friendly, and great atmosphere. I bought tickets on Living Social and scored two tixx for wine & beer at will-call. It was a great Father's Day purchase, hubby had a blast, and the weather wasn't as hot as expected...didn't exceed 102 thanks to the wind. First day of Summer in a winery is a great way to start enjoying all the Summer festivities to come. Life is good, can't wait to return next year!"
"They have more than just wine here. They have many snacks and non alcoholic options. My son was able to get some goodies here. I am not a huge wine person overall but really enjoyed their wine slushy which was sweet. It had added juice to the wine and slushy. We got some waters and enjoyed sitting on the couch relaxing. Some of these spots don't allow families so this was extra nice."
"This beautiful and cozy winery couldn't be any better if you are looking for a spacious and elegant venue! My wife and I recently found this diamond in the rough to host an event and it turned out amazing! The owner was so generous and to offer things that could help enrich our guests experiences and even helped set up the setting with barrels, tables, outside curtains blowing in the wind and so many other things that added the beautiful detail to bring out the already beautiful winery's attributes. I would definitely recommend this place for any event big or small and because of all the hospitality the owner and his family provided, we cannot thank them enoughperfect and heart warming would be some words to describe our experience here"
"Our third and final wine stop for the day was iron hub winery. We didn't have a reservation but luckily they were able to accommodate us and our two dogs on their patio. Yes, they are dog friendly, and they actually have three dogs of their own that they call "wine ambassadors". This is good to be mindful of in case your dog can be a little dog selective, like one of ours is. But the three wine ambassadors quickly picked up on this and left our dogs alone. As for the wines, we thoroughly enjoyed our tasting and actually ended up buying a bottle of Barbera to enjoy. They do offer some charcuterie items, just beware that they are entire packages worth of cheese, meats, and bread/crackers, since they come directly from a grocery store. A very clean and modern tasting space with plenty of shade and fresh air. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area."
