"Delicious! We ordered spring rolls which consisted with shrimp, pork and veggies. Came with this sweet hoisin sauce topped with carrots and peanuts. We also ordered Vietnamese salad with surf clams and shrimp. Very light and refreshing! I would say maybe a tad bit more fish sauce? I wonder if we can add some heat to the salad? Hmm.Lastly, I got the custom pho, one size, for meat I asked for beef ball and raw beef. The broth was light, wasn't too salty. The balance between noodles and proteins was on point! They did not skimp out lol. Next time though, I would ask if I can get my beef rawr on the side. I personally do not like overcooked beef. For service, our waitress came to check on us several times. We were so busy eating we forgot to ask for more napkins. LolThe chef that cooked the salad came out and let us know if we needed more sauce to our salad, he will do it. So nice of him!! The inside was a tad bit small but very bright! They take all kinds of payment, even Apple Pay. The set up is similar to Sit Lo Saigon. You pay for your meal, find a seat, and wait for your food. Parking isn't too bad. When we came, there was parking."
"Pho was nothing special. Broken rice dish was average. Service was encumbered by a language barrier. No knock on the stars for this. I appreciate the patience and earnestness of those who helped us. The complete kindness from the lady at the cash register was so cool. The ambiance was Vietnamese fresh. Mostly clean, cluttered and well worn. Prices were high compared to commensurate establishments. I'd repeat if there weren't so many wonderful options in the area"
Served with green papaya, mango, or both as a base and any choice of 2 toppings of either shrimp, surf clam, rare beef, or beef tendon in a spicy fish sauce.

"They have really good food and the customer service is really good, I appreciate that most of all and the environment is pretty relaxed. The food is full of flavors and I definitely can't wait for my next visit."
"Hearty, Delicious & Scrumptious Chicken Pho!SITREPThanks to awesome friend & yelper Alex T. (aka SacFoodFromAbove on social medias) we got to check out this yummy pho stop that he had put on our radar.THE SETUPPardon my ignorance but I had NO IDEA that Pho is considered a *breakfast food*. So when Alex first suggested that Annie, Richard and I join him for a 10am brunch at Pho Anh Dao, I was a bit confused - but NOW it all makes sense! If anything, the restaurant made this reality clear to me by having a 10am start time in which they serve Pho! (Hey, if the *legit* Vietnamese community is doing this, than it must be right!)LE MENUThere were so many options to choose from including beef Pho and beef bones to add to your meal.I went with the Large Clear-Noodle Chicken Pho ($13) which was only $1 more than the Small version, but which came in a much larger bowl (I even had half leftover to take home in a to-go soup container). The broth was very favorable to which we could spice up with wasabe and chili sauce. And there were a LOT of chicken pieces! Even Annie, our resident Chinese-cuisine / Asian-cuisine expert was surprised at how much chicken there was!THE LOWDOWNCome check out the delicious Pho!"
"Was in the mood for Vietnamese food and decided to check out Wonderful. It's a great lounge area and they have a TV that was playing the soccer games. Used to be a cafe, but management changed over the years. Their food was pretty solid and the service was good. Tried their Fried Shaking Beef over Red rice, egg rolls, and banh xeo and was not disappointed. Would stop by here again if I'm around the area."
"Good food, Good customer service [Natomas, Sacramento CA]We tried this restaurant for the first time and our experience was very good. We had dinner here before heading to a Kings game. The restaurant wasn't too busy and we were seated right away next to the huge bar. Nice decor and ambiance inside. We placed our orders for the Grilled Pork Chop w/ Fried Rice and their Garlic Noodles w/ Shaken Beef. Portions were generous. Customer service was A+, our server's shift was over and left and the bartender took over and refilled our drinks w/o us asking. He also took care of us when came time to pay the bill.I did not know this place existed in the Natomas area. The location was once occupied by Crazy Sushi Korean & Japanese Restaurant and Tuk Tuk Restaurant... hopefully, 3rd time's a charm and this business stays. Review #3628"
"The portions were large and the tofu was seasoned very well not bland and tasteless like my ex's was. Then again my ex cheated on me with a married person so of course they don't know how to cook tofu. This place gives large portions for the price and is great for lunch or takeout. The reason why I am giving it four stars instead of five is because the food took longer than expected and the interior was not the best."
"Can a broth be profoundly meaningful? YES. It can. It is both an absolute joy to the senses and a nourishing comfort. This broth!! Tonkotsu. It is rich with layers of delicate flavor and the homemade chili sauce adds just the right amount of spice. The lovely Thai co-owner behind this broth is a true artist-chef, she's amazing. Generous servings, and my friends who had the Pho said it was excellent also. This is a family business, the sweet owners are there greeting and serving tables alongside staff, and you get a sense that it is a real labor of love. Also it is a new place - - please go support them! you will not regret it. Definitely looking forward to returning snd trying other things on the menu"
"Transportive, that's what places like this are. You slide into Southside Super and you're immersed into flavors, smells, and steam not found other places in Sacramento. I wanted everything on the menu, but settled with a bowl of chicken pho and a kimchi beer. The broth was light and the veggies fresh. The pickled peppers with it were perfect. I really enjoyed the beer too. Can't wait to come back."
"Great food. Fast and friendly service. Stopped here with family at visiting the caves (due to good reviews) and it didn't disappoint!"
"I went to a new Pho place . It was his grand opening to the public. The chef Van has his first restaurant in Rancho Cordova. This is his second place. The place is a nice size. Not too big or small. Lots of tables with that new look. There is a bar with about eight seats. He is the only Pho place with 8 beers on tap. Van is famous for Vegan and vegetarian dishes. I asked him what I should have and he suggested the Oxtail pho. The broth was so flavorful. I loved it. The Oxtail was tender and so yummy. A little spicy, perfect. We got the porkbelly and it was cooked perfectly. Such good flavor. Also got the calamari which was good. I will have to come back and try more stuff."
"We came in for a soup fix to beat this cold weather and right away our expectations were exceeded! We had the whole place to ourselves so service was very fast and food came out in less than 10 minutes. The pho is the better of what I've had in the area and they will definitely be my go-to for bun bo hue as well. They are so generous with the meat and the broth is so rich. Great balance between everything and I love that their menu has a lot to offer while not being overwhelming. The portions are big and priced well! The up charge for changing bowl sizes or adding extra items are all reasonable as well. You pay for what you get!The inside is very spacious and the bar is such a nice touch! The lobby was decorated all cute for the holidays too which adds a nice touch. We will come back and try their taps too. I'm very excited I have a new Vietnamese go-to spot so close to my home!"

First of all, I was so excited to even see the sign put up in my neighborhood. We used to go to a Pho spot that closed down, so my husband and I were hoping the Pho was going to be good considering surrounding Pho places aren't that great. When we walked in I could tell right away it resembled a Mom and Pop shop, they were fairly busy, but the waitress was able to seat us quickly. We were warmly greeted and the service was excellent. She even apologized for the wait, however, we didn't wait too long before she took our order. To her it may have seemed long since she was the only one waiting all the tables and bringing food out. We got our food pretty quick. You can actually see them making our food at the counter since there's a glass window and I could tell they really craft their meals well and put a lot of effort into the dishes. We ordered 3 different types of Pho and 3 different types of noodles each and my son had the BBQ pork plate plus some egg rolls.I can say that after the first sip, we knew we were coming back. No to-go boxes were needed and we left no crumbs. All their food was absolutely delicious. I didn't get a chance to take any photos, but when we go back, I will update the post. I'm excited to try more of their dishes!Update: 2nd visit, they remembered us and welcomed us back. I tried their BBQ Vermicelli bowl and was super delish. Their portions were really good! Even got their Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

I forgot how amazing this place is. Food was super delicious. We ordered late night take outs and it didn't disappoint. We ordered enough food to last us for 3 days. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Gave us all the fixings, sauces, pickled jalapeno, extra chilli oil.

Cash only.It can be a long wait for a table, and an even longer wait for your food.Get the chicken pho with clear noodles.Worth it? It is good, but I can't see myself waiting that long for pho. I've never had anything other than the chicken pho. I'm not sure what else is on the menu. There's another pho spot next door that claims to be "king," but they are not as popular as Pho Anh Dao.

We came here for brunch one morning. We loved the vast menu options. I settled for the Bo Ne which was the perfect brunch option coming with 3 various meats, egg, and freshly toasted french bread. I cannot wait to come back and get it again! Don't forget to try their coffee as well!

Me taking out the wrapped banh mi from the takeout bag and thinking "what the--this has a lot of weight to it" lol.One of the heftiest banh mi that I've had lol it's *loaded* with a bunch of fixings!! Pickled veggies galore (though as a nitpick the veggies were a bit on the soggy side) and definitely no skimping on the meat either. I had the pork option; not char siu style as it's primarily straightforward sweet-centric. Kinda reminded me more of Hawaiian-style pork actually. Still mighty tasty though and tender.Baguette test: passes with flying colors. Not stale. Crispy but not roof-of-mouth-destroying crunchy.Vietnamese coffee is nothing to write home about though. Too much leaning on sweetener and it isn't remarkably strong either.Overall I'd say this is for sure one of the better banh mi spots that I've visited in the Sac area. 4-ish stars rounded up.Parking: not the greatest in the area at least on a weekday afternoon. I was lucky to find 2-hour parking on the street.

Had the pleasure of eating here for dinner on their 10th day open! My partner got Pho and I got Ramen. Both of us were impressed by the silky and rich broths and the large portion sizes. We also tried their shrimp roll appetizer which was perfect and I got a butterfly pea lemon drink that was super tasty! GV has been needing a great Pho or Ramen spot for years-- now we've got one!

"I ordered 22 with no noodles. The egg roll was clear wrap and deliciously crunchy. The portions were huge. It was very filling. Hole in the wall place with great food and nice service."
"Okay, this is one of the best chicken pho I've had in a minute. I love the fish sauce they had on the side. They need to brand their mix it was so good! The soup was a really clean and tasty broth. Did not taste like there was a ton of msg. And you can tell they used home range chicken for their meat. It was lean and had a nice texture to it. Also their vietnamese coffee is not there to play. It was so strong and immediately perked me up. It is a sit down style and the waiters were really attentive. I'm not gonna lie I came for lunch and might of gotten take out for dinner! Such an awesome addition to the pho scene in the Sac area"
"Having grown up in San Jose, I think I could say that I am a pho snob. Didn't think I could find a pho place I liked in sacramento. I was proven wrong. This place is amazing. For sure our favorite place so far. The soup has an amazing flavor and perfectly seasoned. The fresh rice noodles are never over cooked. Meat quality is excellent. Veggies are always fresh. Service is top notch. They are so attentive. I brought my newborn and they sat me in the quieter corner without me even asking. Ambiance is family friendly. Bustling and busy as any great pho restaurant would beHighly recommended!"
"The food we had was very yummy!Bf ordered a large Pho Bo Vien, friend ordered the vermicelli beef, and I got the large Bun Rieu. Huge portions! We were served water in a small plastic cup and also ordered hot tea. Our server was attentive and checked on us, made sure everything was ok. We dinned in evening, an hour before closing so we were seated pretty quickly. I was unable to try their milk teas cause it was close to closing time lol. Prices were reasonable! The ambiance was dim and the place had a nice Asian casual vibe. Parking wise, you won't have any trouble finding a spot. However, it is south Sacramento so close parking can get limited."
"Bun lemongrass stir fry (chicken)My meal was amazing! This is a yummy plate for sure it's a cold salad I got the chicken option but you can also get shrimp for an additional charge. I will add that the reason I gave it a 4 stars is my husbands pho lacked flavor, the broth was not very special to us. Stick with the cold salads and rolls/spring rolls. :)"
"January 14, 2025: I ordered Seafood Chow Mein, Duck Pho, and hot tea. The Seafood Chow Mein totally rocked--it was so hot, the seafood was tender, and fresh while Duck Pho's broth warmed my cold--the duck was so tender and juicy, the Pho jettisoned me into the ionosphere! Yup~I must scream at the top of my lungs while standing on an apple box proclaiming, "THE ENTIRE ORDER WAS THAT DELICIOUS, INDEED!!!!"Anyway . . . Like Ahnold Scwharzenegger promises, "Ahll beeee baaaaack!""
"This place hit the spot! The broth was solid and we even ordered the fries and they are a hit too. We came in with 25 people leaving Tahoe on Sunday morning, we were all able to get seated the waitresses were so nice to us and we got all our food promptly . It was exactly what we needed. Our coffee drinks came a little late and they said it was on the house since it took extra time. It was such a nice gesture that we weren't expecting since we were such a large group. Overall great food, amazing service and were super accommodating !!"
"Met my girlfriends for lunch and everything was delicious. We met at noon and by the time we left the place was packed and there was a line out the door. Plenty of room for lots of tables, clean, and comfortable."
"We have new house soup call " Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang" this soup can eat dried and soup on the side"
"Great place all around. Food is excellent and service is great. Been here a few times already and will definitely go back. Weve had varies pho and other dishes. All have been super good. Highly recommend."
"I've tasted at least three things on the menu and they are consistently prepared, presented and taste delicious! A favorite place to pick up lunch! I get their lemongrass chicken, tamarind wings, or the mango and shrimp salad. Incredible! Would recommend a visit to this gem!"
"Great Vietnamese coffee place amongst a lot of other nearby Vietnamese owned businesses (off of Stockton Blvd / Florin Rd). It was packed on a Sunday afternoon, many of the customers speaking Vietnamese. They have some bar & table seating. They have a self-ordering kiosk, making it very easy to place my order. The man who brought out my drinks was very nice & spoke to me with a smile.I ordered the Taro Coffee (less ice/less sweet) and the Oolong Milk Tea for a family member. I wish the taro was a bit more present in the drink, but overall appreciate the strong coffee flavor. I was told the Oolong Milk Tea was good. I would definitely return to try other drinks on the menu."
"I ordered a pad thai. They were able to accommodate my requests for no peanuts due to allergies which was nice. The restaurant is calm and relaxing inside. I will go again!"
"I've been coming here since I was a child! My absolute favorite are the pork spring rolls with peanut sauce! They don't compare to other restaurants, and I've tried many over the years. I always stop by for the pork rolls when I'm in town and take an order togo. For my meal, I love the vermicelli or soup."
"The ambience was very nice and quiet. The service was very good and the food came out very fast. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted very authentic and traditional! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some good Vietnamese pho in the area."
"I like this place but 5 stars? I think it's a little pricey for Colfax. We ate a lot of food, two entrees and two appetizers plus my wife ordered a Corona. Total came to $58 before tip. We spent $70 after leaving a $12 gratuity. So basically $35 per person for very good Vietnamese food but if we want to pay Bay Area prices we will go to San Francisco instead.Table was somewhat sticky, I think they need to use a stronger cleaning solution to make the tables cleaner. Even better would be to use tablecloths--- at these prices you should not have to deal with sticky tables! So my review says "5 stars for the food" but subtract one star for the high cost. And please skip the crispy egg rolls --- $7 for 3 tiny egg rolls that are not that great."
"Hankering Pho ordered the P3.Steak,meatballs,rice noodles in a savory beef stock. Side plate with jalapeños, bean sprouts, basil. Perfect for a cold day, slightly salty broth, thin sliced beef, fresh rice noodles , delicious. Had the large & I was full & happy. Ken, who runs the counter & and serves, is always positive & friendly. My 2nd visit.I'm coming back to try the calamari."
"Had their pho, bun bo hue, and banh xeo. All were tasty! Service was nothing spectacular but I'm not complaining about it! Would come back."
"Comforting food,Customer service is family-friendly,Modernized ambiance with Chinese music. They are continuing to add more menu items."
"I went with my friend for lunch. He said he wanted to try it out. I have never been here. The place is in a strip mall. We were able to park right in front. We were greeted right away and sat down. There were about three other tables with customers. It is an ok size place. My friend ordered for me and we both got the big rice plate. It had I think 4 different meats on it . It came with a broth to wash down all the meat. I loved it. The meats were really good. It came with an egg roll, laup chung, some pork and a fried patty with meat and crab in it. The rice had a soft boiled egg on it. A side salad and some dipping sauce. It all had a great flavor and we both could not finish all of our food. Doggy bag. Not a bad place at all. Will have to come by again."
"This is one of those places where you come here for the price & portion. While walking towards to our table, I noticed the huge plates & bowls. As I looked at the menu, the prices were pretty decent. They have 3 different sizes for PHO: Small, large, and X-Large. The x-large was $18.99. I honestly think a small would be good enough. I got the small pho with beef & tendons. Everything in the bowl was average. The broth was not hot enough. The broth had very little flavor to it. The meats were too thick and the tendons were too hard to chew. I think they only gave me 2 pieces of tendons lol didn't matter since i threw it all.The greens were fresh. They will give you more if you want. They offered pho tuoi, but it wasn't the reg kind for pho. People tend to use it for stir-fry noodles. WeirdService was alright. RR availParking availIf you know me, I only like authentic pho. The flavor gotta be strong. This place is definitely not for me."
"Came back again after grand opening. A lot new drinks and snacks were updated ! My favorite is their fried rice cake, which is most popular food of my childhood. Recall alot ! The full topping milk tea is favorable with full of toppings, it is worthy money. The restaurant is pretty clean."
"Tired of all the Boba places? Try BamBu! This place is located in the same plaza as the Chevron and a few other stores.Elk Grove has so many Boba type places. I remember trying the Bambu in Stockton Blvd way back in the day, so I'm glad that they opened up one close by. They have so many choices of drinks. It was so much that I actually forgot to take a picture of it. I'll be sure to take one of it next time I stop by haha. The lady working the front counter was very friendly and was able to give me some recommendations on drinks. Since it's been so long since I've had these types of drinks, I asked which one she would recommend. She recommended #10 Bambu Favorite. Well, after drinking it, I know why it would be their favorite haha. It was very good! Everything in it complemented well with each other. The texture was just right for the drink. It did fill me up, so it was like a little meal haha. There are a few tables inside, so it would be a good place to hang out with friends while drinking some awesome drinks. If you're tired of Boba, go check out Bambu. It's a nice drink change, and it's really good. I can't wait to go back."
