"I've been here a couple times now and have enjoyed both visits. The place is small, but quaint and clean... Not a dingy hole-in-the-wall. The counter is always stacked with to-go orders, ready for pickup. This tells me they have earned their respects from the community and have gained a good customer base. The staff is friendly and attentive. They are helpful in offering suggestions and answering questions about the menu. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell the food is quality selected and prepped. Get the spring rolls with shrimp! The peanut sauce is so good."
"Got the drunken noodles and it was every bit of delicious as others said. The spring rolls were also very fresh. My favorite part was that they gave a great amount of peanut sauce. Normally the sauce is never enough but they got the portions right. The portions are very generous. A definite plus! The service was very friendly and sweet. I would be back to try some of the other dishes."

"Please note that if you find on the weekend you pay dinner price no matter what time you dine. They are able to notify some meals for vegan just ask. I liked that they cot the spice level right. My jungle curry was more like jungle soup as I ordered it without coconut milk. The big plus was the amount and variety of veggies that it came with."
"I go here so often, yet I'm finally reviewing. This is definitely a must-go to restaurant. The food is so good here! I'm no expert in Thai and Laotian food, but the food is incredibly flavorful, so fresh. The owners are incredibly hospitable. The woman would check in on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was ok, and she was so thoughtful. She saw that we were sharing multiple dishes, and brought out extra utensils for each dish.Basically, I feel like I'm working my way down their menu. So far, there is not a single "bad" dish. My favorite dishes from here are their papaya salad (both Thai and Lao styles), pad see ew, kaopoon, nam khao. Their kaopoon is very generously sized. Be prepared to share it. For today, we got the basil fried rice. I think I would love a little bit more char to the fried rice, but it was very flavorful, and has a good balance of ingredients (meat, basil, onions). We got "2" for spice, and it was an enjoyable amount of spice.Pad kee mao: I love that the noodles seem to be cut to various sizes and not a single size (I especially enjoy the large pieces of noodles). You can adjust the spice on this. We got "2" for spice, but I think it could use a little bit more spice, personally.Lao style papaya salad: Has a little bit more of a fishy taste. Cabbage for this dish is always so fresh. We added Thai eggplant, and it reminded me of cucumbers. It was so good. We got "2" for spice and it was pretty spicy...probably because the spice is swimming in the sauce is my guess. We got Thai coffee. I would enjoy it a bit more if it was a bit stronger in coffee taste and less sweet, but perhaps that is the style.I'm already craving going back even though I was just there!"
"This place bomb! Live their fried calamari and mango sweet rice. Price not bad. Parking spots are tight but just eat and leave lol Good location though. I come here a lot"
"BEST vegetarian pad Thai I've had in Sacramento.Super flavorful and perfectly done. I can see why it's the top recommended dish on the menu. I got a medium level of spice and it was perfect! Only downfall about this place, like other places in sac, is that street parking can be busy and takes time to find."
"Food: I think most people come here thinking Thai, but this is very much also a Lao spot. For as many greasy Thai spots there are here, this place is super delicious, and why I have it the 5 star. For lack of a better word, the food feels super clean and tasty. They have a great assortment of spices and sauces to adjust the heat level and taste of your food. I've had the pad thai, drunken noodles, and some curries here and I've always enjoyed them. This last time, I tried a Laotian dish - Mee Kati. This was super tasty dish where you had hot broth do this delicious concoction of noodles, veggies, herbs, and meat, and then mix. The fresh rolls were killer. I was pretty meh on the chicken wings. A little too much breading without a lot of flavor. Service: Super friendly and attentive. No concerns here at all. Ambiance - I think this place is super cute. It has great lighting and is has a very gentle/serene vibe. It's 100% a nice date spot (minus the fact that there aren't too many spots in walking distance and in questionable area)"
"Omg this place is amazing !! If I could give it 10 stars I would ! This is a small family owned Thai restaurant in lincoln CA. It's a husband and wife that owned restaurant they take an hour break everyday from 3-4 pm right before the dinner rush . You could tell they take pride in their food and their establishment. Walking in everything is very clean and organized. They have excellent service . They are very friendly and attentive. For food, I love everything on the menu. If you come you have to try the pineapple rice It's delicious. Everything just taste so fresh. I have a shellfish allergy and they always help me with my order so that I do not get an allergic reaction. I barely go to any place that serves oyster sauce, but I will definitely come here because they take care of me. They make sure that there is no shellfish on my plate and I really appreciate that.Overall, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant. It's very delicious. You will get top-notch service. You will not regret coming here. I can't wait to go back."
"Solid Thai food in Fair Oaks with a great lunch special selection and healthy portions! Flavors are great and their ingredients feel fresh and well picked. Noodle and curry dishes are always a favorite of the family. We haven't dined in yet (usually takeaway for lunch/dinner), but the ambiance is family friendly and cozy. Plenty of adjacent parking.Staff is friendly and prompt. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new lunch/dinner option in the area, and definitely come hungry!"
"Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves where we pleased. This place is so quaint and clean. Our server Erick was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and suggestions. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer and our entree were the Salad Bai Yok Chicken & Kow Pad just egg and beef. The food was served heat hot and the taste was so flavorful & fresh with both orders. We will be back"
"Came in with a party of 4 at around lunch time on a Friday. Plenty of available seats. We were able to choose where to sit.Ordered the following:- Avocado Spring Rolls with peanut sauce - Yellow curry chicken- Angel Wings - fried crispy stuffed chicken- Mango Sticky Rice - Thai Iced Coffee- Thai Iced TeaWe were happy with all the food we ordered. The Thai Iced Coffee & Tea were just ordinary. Nothing special. The sauce on the sticky rice was thick and very sweet. The way it should be, so most in our party were happy. I find it too sweet for my taste. Avocado spring rolls was fresh & with crisp vegetables inside and has a great tasting peanut sauce. Angel wings, although very crispy as promised was just so-so. The Yellow Curry Chicken with rice was a bomb. Super happy with it. We were given complimentary small size salad while waiting for our food. When ordering a meal with rice, there's an option for brown rice (for extra $1.50).A lot of parking spaces outside, clean and bright restaurant. Good service"
"So I guess I haven't this place before. If you are a night-owl, then you need to check this place out. They are open pretty late, which is a huge plus for me, especially since I get out late from work. Hubby will ask me what's for dinner, and I will sometimes tell him Pho! So although their pho isn't necessarily my number one go to, it is the best late at night and it really hits "the spot", so to speak. I also really like the shrimp rolls as my appetizer, hubby really enjoys the angel wings. The place can be pretty busy since it is one of the few restaurants open super late. The place has a couple of TV's where you can watch music videos or sports. Late at night there seems to be only 1 server/cashier, so be patient. These guys aren't fast food.I come here quite frequently, and will continue since they are the only late night pho option."

I ordered takeout for my first time here so I don't have anything to add to the ambience and service. The food was very tasty and flavorful except the special. Pros: the wings and mango sticky rice were really good. I loved the noodles. I would come back to dine in so I can get the full experience. Cons: parking can be hard to find since it's a small shopping center with multiple businesses.

I randomly found this place and have been a little addicted. There has never been a wait and the food is always consistently good. My go to dishes are always the need salad, pad thai and pad see ew. I loved their tom yum noodles soup too. It has good flavor and just the right amount of spices for me. I've always gone during lunch time and the portions are very generous.

The Ambiance: Casual clean Thai Restaurant The Service: Excellent- the waitress seated us immediately, was friendly and efficient. Boxed up our leftovers for us. The Food: Delicious! We ordered the Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) - mild since my husband doesn't like spicy! Still plenty of flavor. We also ordered the Rad Nar Mee Krob with pork, which has crispy egg noodles, vegetables and cashew nuts in a gravy that was so good! Can't wait to go back here for lunch or dinner again soon!

First time here! This was the best Kapoon I've ever had.We came in on New Years Day and there were plenty of seats thankfully! I ordered Kapoon and it came out pretty quickly, which was unexpected considering how good it tasted! First bite in and the sauce is slathered with creaminess with perfect texture noodles. The water cups and interior design looked traditional and clean. The service could have been better, though it was the day after New Years Eve so this was acceptable. Cheers!I'd totally come back and try their delicious Pad Thai!

Thai spoon has the best avocado curry I've ever had! It's always clean & well kept inside the wait time is usually never very long. The customer service is always good as well. Everything I've tried from here has been great! The prices are a little high but it's always great quality food!

I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and medium spice, and they were just perfect. The spice level wasn't too intense but had a nice little kick that I really enjoyed. The dish was flavorful, filling, and very satisfying.I also tried the mango sticky rice, which was good but presented differently than I am used to. The rice was green, and the mango was cut into pieces. Other places usually serve it in a different style, but it still tasted great, so no complaints.I have not had the chance to dine in yet since I ordered through delivery, but everything arrived fresh and delicious. I am looking forward to visiting the restaurant soon!

First impressions on our first visit: -location looks tiny from the exterior-first smell to hit us upon entering was not the delicious smell of food, but... very strong cleaning products...-the interior was cute and clean-hostess greeted and seated us quickly As far as the food goes:-I love me some fresh shrimp rolls with pb sauce so we placed an order for those. The ingredients were fresh and crispy, but there was too much fluff (greens) and not enough shrimp. Maybe adding just 1 more shrimp per roll would take it up a notch. -I ordered my curry mild, but it was still very spicy and overpowering to my palate. -My husband enjoyed his pho. Would I come back? Probably not. This location is too far from where I live to go out of the way for. However, if YOU happen to be in the area - go for it! Perhaps we just visited on an off night (a Tuesday, to be exact).

I was feeling under the weather and craving wonton soup. My regular place was closed so I ordered to go from Rum Thai. It warmed my soul, soothed my throat and quickly became my favorite wonton soup in our area. The wontons are homemade with sausage. They add more vegetables than most which I loved. It is a large portion that lasted two meals. I added chili oil to spice it up! I can't wait to order it again!

"The venue is small, tight and straight forward. Service was nice and attentive which was the best part of this experience. Unfortunately, the fried rice was bland and not Thai hot which was not what I was expecting. Parking is limited as well."
"I love this little restaurant. It's cute and inviting and authentic. The staff are kind and you can either order to go or sit down. I often get them when I am getting my nails done next door. My favorite food items are: Yellow Curry (5/5 stars) carrots & potatoes (i add chicken) is a soup texture with coconut milk and so deliciousChicken Sayay (3/4 stars) a little dry but the peanut & pickled cucumber and carrot sauces are amazing."
"First off, the service here was impeccable. The establishment itself was very clean and organized. Tom Kha was delicious, it was more robust than others I've tried at different places. The spring rolls were great and the peanut sauce was solid. The only reason I give Chada 4 stars is because of main dishes of Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle. Both were good, but the noodles were kinda lost in the sauce for the Pad Thai and both dishes were a bit skimpy on protein. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience, I would go back and order something other than the noddle dishes."
"We made a stop on our way to Reno at this little spot. My husband has the pad Thai and I had the yellow curry..the food is delicious and the hostess was so friendly and prompt. A few more people came in, including regulars. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. It was a lovely little find. The spring rolls were made in what looked like a tortilla, not rice paper . They were still very good. The peanut sauce was nicely flavored and overpowered by peanut butter"
"This is your quintessential "hole in the wall", low key, locally owned and operated business. What they lack in decor, they make up in food quality. Food and service are great. Owner is always willing to chat about sports and current events. The food... OMG, the food is sooooo good. Some of the best recipes we've had, Seriously. We travel quite a bit and have eaten at a ton of michelin star and guided restaurants, but when we're home, we always make a point to come here for some authentic home style south east asian food. try the lao sausage, the papaya salad, beef jerky, laap, kasoy soup and add some sticky rice. You won't be disappointed. Be mindful that this is NOT the best area of Sac so lock your car and bring any valuables inside with you. Have a seat looking outside so you can keep an eye on your car. Other than that, enjoy."
"I found this place when my regular Thai spot was closed. It wasn't bad / chili oil was kinda not fresh , but the food was fresh and the staff was very kind as expected in a nice Thai spot."
"The place has decent amount of seatings and is well lit. The menu is not huge; which is a good sign (personally) for a local restaurant. They mainly focus on Thai/Japanese fusion dishes.Ordered: Karaage Chicken, Beef Pad See Ew, Pipo Curry RamenKaraage chicken is good. The batter is thin and seasoned well. The chicken is not dry and quite flavorful. The homemade dipping sauces are a great addition. The mayo/sriracha (assuming) sauce isn't dense. This light texture sauce is more enjoyable since the chicken is already deep fried. I like the sweet chili sauce because it adds a bit of sweetness to the chicken and balance out the flavor.Beef Pad See Ew is a bit salty for me, but it could just be only that time. I have to say the noodle and veggies are super flavored from the sauce. If it is less salty, it would be great. The beef is a bit dry, even with the sauce but it's not a dealbreaker. The server is very helpful in recommending spice level. There are 5 levels and I agree that level 2 is a comfortable spot. I'm not good with spice but level 2 isn't too bad.The Pipo Curry Ramen is delicious. The noodles are cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The egg is seasoned well and slightly runny. The broth is on the light side in comparison to other ramen places, but I think it worked out since the curry flavor is already bold. The chicken is thinly cut, which is different. However, I do wish it is a bit thicker to avoid tasted dry.I wouldn't mind trying other dishes next time I'm around the area."
"My wife and I loved this excellent halal Thai place. We spoke to the owner over the phone and she could not have been nicer. Everything was delicious - beef salad, huge spring rolls ($6 each was worth it), and Panang curry. We will be back!"
"My job wanted The Coconut for lunch so I was browsing the menu online and noticed varying pricing which made ordering confusing. If you go to coconutriverpark.com, the pot stickers are $5.95, if you order via Yelp they are $11.64 and if you go to thecoconuttogo.com they are $8.95. So if placing an order online, use the coconut to go website because those are the actual prices. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken in medium spice. TIP: remember, Thai spicy is different than regular spicy. I like some spice and the medium spice was just right for me but it definitely had my nose running. I also got the potstickers and while I'm not really a fan of steamed potstickers, I did enjoy the crispy garlic bits. The potstickers themselves were also good, don't get me wrong. The ginger sauce it came with was nice and thick so it stuck to the potstickers unlike soy sauce would. The ginger sauce was also kind of sweet, it tasted more like a plum sauce to me but I still enjoyed it. The yellow curry had good flavor and quite a bit of chicken pieces but I feel it was overloaded with carrot and the carrot taste almost cancelled out any curry flavor so I ended up picking out a vast majority of the carrots. Overall it's pretty good, not somewhere I'd normally visit but would try again if the office decides to come here again."
"Food was fantastic, service to match. Very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and overall an enjoyable experience."
"Excellent find! Cute restaurant with nice ambience and friendly staff.Very attentive to your needs, and we tried the tea leaf salad, the pumpkin curry, and the dry fried vegetables with rice and salad, and it was delicious . I can't wait to go back and try something else. The menu is huge and delicious..Please check it out for yourself"
"This was real good! Apparently, it's under a new owner. It was our first time visiting and definitely going back again. We got the wonton pot and chicken drunken noodles. Overhearing the table next to us there were 5 spice levels before well now there's 6. We got 3 - medium spicy and I was spiced up! As a person that enjoys spicy food but not super spicy, 3 was perfect. The wonton soup had such great flavor. According to the menu I didn't see an option to pick the wonton meat. I was fine with ground chicken but I can imagine it tasting as good with pork or shrimp. The service was great. Big thumbs up on the service. Super attentive and we felt welcomed."
"Wow! my husband and I were in a hurry to have dinner before going to a One Republic concert and we randomly found this awesome restaurant. We told them we needed to get to the concert at 8 pm. We ordered the eggplant basil dish, which was so delicious! We were visiting from out of town. I wish we had this restaurant in our area. The service was also friendly and prompt. The food came quickly and we were able to leave on time for the concert. I definitely recommend Thai Peppers !"
"Sala Thai is a good Thai restaurant in Rancho Cordova (off Zinfandel) with a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I have been here twice for lunch on the weekend and both times, it was not very busy. We were able to get a table right away. Although it wasn't too busy, service was a bit slow to start. The workers were in the back mostly and it was hard to flag someone down when I wanted to request something. Previously, I've ordered the Duck Curry, which I thought was okay. There wasn't too much duck and the curry was not bad. I wanted to try a different dish next time. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, which was really good! It came with large shrimp and chicken, which were really nice. I loved the pineapple chunks and the flavor of the rice dish. I also tried the Green Curry with chicken and the curry was really tasty. There was some inconsistency with their dishes. One time I tried the Garlic Lover with chicken and it was outstanding. Another time, I tried the same dish, and it must not have been cooked right because it lacked flavor. I ordered the Thai coffee and did NOT like it. I probably should have gotten the Thai Tea.Overall, my experiences at Sala Thai were not bad. The food was some hit and some miss. The service was sometimes good and sometimes a bit slow. The atmosphere was very serene and peaceful, which I really enjoyed. We also stayed awhile and they didn't rush us to leave until they closed."
"Nice dining experience in a not-as-nice area. Met some close friends here for lunch, since it was a nice in-between location. The reviews here on Yelp were decent and if they weren't it had to do with DoorDash and not specifically Thai Orchid. The gentleman handling all the things was very nice and efficient. We had the place (at open) to ourselves and eventually other patrons who had a hankering for Thai food, that rainy morning, wandered in also. My friends had their two small kids (newborn and a 10 month old) along and it worked out fine space wise. I had the spicy cashew chicken and a side of steamed rice. My friends ordered the Drunken Noodle dish with chicken and the coconut soup. No complains from anyone. Would definitely eat here again!"
"Customer service and cleanliness is 10. Attentive, friendly and food was serve timely. The place is spacious and very clean. I was here first time with my daughter/mommy daughter day out. Our bill came around to $80++ for 2. 2 serving of white rice, Thai ice tea, jasmine hot tea, mango sticky rice dessert, shrimp rolls, pineapple red chicken curry and fried chicken. The menu is plenty but not necessary. The curry was expensive, small portion in my opinion. And, the friend chicken- no need to complicate it. I just wanted a regular flavorful fried chicken even at that price. I didn't like the inside of the chicken, it was stuffed- it didn't say stuffed fried chicken in the menu. Plus, I I had Thai food several time in Thailand. I'm accustomed to the taste. Nonetheless, I'm not measuring the food level here up to the authentic level served in Thailand. But I had better Thai food in other restaurants in US. To be fair, there's plenty other food on the menu to choose from , they may have been better a choice. If I may, keep it simple, fresh and flavorful. Memorable enough once it hits the tastebud you want to come again. Portion and price matters. Have a choice small and large, think that might help. Keep up with the excellent customer service and cleanliness. A little tweak to your menu, might do wonder. There's plenty of restaurants around, authentic ones are rare to find. Be one."
"Again another change in management and they still have all our love + support! Romlan and his family are the sweetest and truly care about the quality of food/service they provide. Our hearts and bellies are happily full each time we've been here. See/taste/experience for yourself!"
"A few friends and I met here for dinner. It's very cute and clean inside. They were pretty quick to seat us and take our order. The food was good, my one critique is that the portions are pretty small. Maybe we've just been lucky with the last few Thai restaurants, but the portions here were very small. The servers said we could share and we did... but it wasn't enough for 3 healthy normal eating girlies. Anyways, good little spot. Check 'em out."
"I rarely have anything negative to say about any Thai restaurant I've ever been. It's my favorite cuisine. Maybe it is a different regional cuisine that Sopa offered, but I didn't care for it. One of my favorite dishes is Pad Kee Mao (aka, "Drunken Noodles") which I ordered. It came in a sauce that I could best describe as Thai sweet chili sauce. I've never had it served that way before and hope to never get it that way again."
"If you want authentic Southeast Asian food... then this is the place to go. We went here for the first time and our service was great! The owner was friendly and gave us a little history and background of his traveling days. The ambiance was pretty chill and the place was clean. Like they say, don't judge a book by it's cover. The best foods are always the hole in the wall places. We will be coming back to try the famous papaya salad!"
"New favorite place!!!I have yet to get a bad meal from them.I try something different every time I have gone and each time I find something new and wonderful to try. The basil fried rice is so flavorful. I was shocked that rice could have such wonderful taste. I mean it's rice, try it!Busy place service is good."
"I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The seafood curry was very flavorful and had many different types of veggies, even yams! The dinner ended with a ginger ice cream with light caramel sauce. The combination was amazing!"
"I have been her many times now and have tried several items... The yellow curry I am eating right now is absolutely delicious . Oh my Goodness. It is some of the best I ever had.The red curry is also amazing.I have had the hot and sour soup.. oh my gosh.. it's so good.If you love Thai food.. this place is amazing"
