Miles G. "Walk in and order at a counter, sit where you'd like, help yourself to soda fountain, chips, salsa, pickled and sautéed vegetables: perfection. They have indoor and warmed outdoor seating, booths, and vibrant decor. Even though we ordered at the counter, we were checked in on multiple times while we ate. Employees were friendly, attentive, and efficient. My friend got the lunch special (3 tacos with your choice of meats and rice and beans for $12), and while I love carnitas, asada, and more culinary zest in general, I often find myself being allured to something simple. What can I say, I get overwhelmed easily. Beans were delicious, refried to perfection, melted Colby Jack in perfect ratio (people can mess up a bean and cheese burrito). Eli said the tacos were delicious. Chips and salsa some of the best I've had. I would highly recommend this establishment."

Prices are super reasonable: around $25 for two and I'm having the other half of my burrito for lunch tomorrow. Really creative, unique flavors, fabulous service. We love West Coast Tacos!"

Lillian W. "Mas Tacos, in Folsom's Palladio, has been on my radar for awhile. The first time I tried dining here, we were told it would be over a hour wait to seat 2. So we passed. This place is wickedly popular. Finally I got a chance again on a recent Sunday for an early dinner. I was with a large group of 17. We called a few hours ahead to set up a reservation which we secured. Right when you step in, it's the bar area. Impressive top shelf liquor display that takes up nearly the entire wall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. TVs throughout that are tuned into sports. The outdoor seating is covered and enclosed reminding me of a green room. There was a fireplace that gave off a lot of heat. The vibe is family friendly. Onto the food.., Chips n Salsa. $4.25. The chips were fried tortillas... aka tostada shells. Street sized taco tortilla. The order comes with two salsas, red and green salsa verde. Not sure if they were fresh house made but sure looked and tasted like it. Delicious Drunken chicken taco. $3.95. I don't know how they got the chicken drunk. But it was delicious. Moist, seasoned, flavorful pieces of chicken. The tacos were priced around $5. Short rib taco. $4.45. I got unlucky with the short rib meat. In my taco, the meat was mostly fat. Big, globby pieces that had the same coloring of the cooked short rib. But the others in my party didn't have that issue. They got hefty gorgeous looking pieces of short rib. I swiped a piece from one of their tacos. Mmm... it was delicious. Tender, soft with a fantastic rich deep meaty flavor. Posole. $7.50. It was a bland tasting even with a squeeze of lime. It did look beautiful though. Bright, fresh colors. And it was presented well. Our waiter took our order while various other staff delivered the food. When we asked for extra plates and drink refills from the various staff other than our waiter, we never got them. We asked for extra plates since they batched a bunch of taco orders onto one plate. Our waiter was handling a bunch of other tables as well. He was great. But obviously stretched thin. He could have benefited with more support from the other staff."

Zoey P. "A place you cant go wrong. It's always SO GOOD. We came and it wasn't busy so we seated ourselves. We LOVE anything with their pork belly, I highly suggest their pork belly taco though that isn't what I got this time. We both got bowls; mine with lettuce instead of rice and his with cilantro lime rice and add black beans and avocado ( and additional charge of .95 and 1.95 respectively). Absolutely delicious. We devoured the chips and salsa before I got a photo but the chips are whole whole corn tortillas unbroken fried. It comes with salsa but there are also 2 sauces on the table, one red based with ha anero and one green based with jalapeno. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and kept checking on us. As per usual, it was a great time. 10 out of 10 will definitely visit again."

Ida H. "Once again, I was able to attend another superb vegan/vegetarian UYE arranged by Bridget W.! The day was originally held a few weeks before on Sept. 26th, except attendees were not able to make it, so Bridget kindly rescheduled the event to Oct 9th instead. However, 9 Yelpers stated that they were "in" only to not show up again! https://www.yelp.com/events/sacramento-rescheduled-uye-eat-your-veggies-bambi-vegan-tacos?ytl_=68b741a81ba54ceca88561ae3070513d&utm_medium=email&utm_source=email_event_reminder&utm_campaign=Oct-08-2024Anyway, Bridget and I still enjoyed an amazing evening of delicious food that I'm still craving and dreaming about! When we entered the restaurant, I noticed it wasn't busy, and it had a nice, almost romantic atmosphere. There were two TV's on, but they only showed cartoons for some reason. But this place is all about their own creative versions of vegan tacos designed in various combinations of veggies and flavors! The menu and wall specials made deciding on what to get very hard for us both, but I eventually chose 2 tacos: The Al Pastor: Achiote marinated mushrooms, jalapeno crema, charred pickled pineapple, topped with onions and cilantro. And the special: Ensenada Squash Taco: beer battered zuchini, slaw, pico de gallo, parmesan cheese, and peach BBQ sauce. We also shared a Chori Queso Dip: Nacho Cheese, & House Made Chorizo, Served w/ homemade Chips. Every morsel and mouthful was excellent! Another enticing feature about this restaurant is that it serves alcohol! Since I don't have much of a night life anymore, it's been a very long time since I have had a specialty cocktail. I decided on the Watermelon Juicy Fruit Margarita served w/ a tajin rim. Another delicious and thirst quenching drink that really added to the whole dining experience! Despite missing out on meeting some new Yelp friends who were a no show, Bridget and I still had a very nice dining experience. The food, drink, and wait staff really made for a memorable evening! The prices were very reasonable too!"

Everything was good, I was a tad disappointed they didn't have any fresh Agua Frescas but understandable since it looked slow. The tamales are huge. When you enter the front door, there's a big menu on the wall. Lots to choose from depending on what you're hungry for. You order and pay first, and then find your table. They will bring out your meal. There's a chip and salsa bar to add to your meal while you wait. The employees here were very cheerful and patient while we decided on what we were hungry for. The restaurant itself was very clean. Ample seating. Gosh! Even the patrons waiting for to go orders were very friendly. It's a shared parking lot so parking was not a problem. Pricing overall was decent. A few items were higher prices, but nothing crazy. I had the chimichanga and it was very tasty and filling. Michael T. "In California we eat food out of trucks, particularly Mexican food, and it's better. It's hard to explain to foreigners from other states, but this is one of those places that proves it.I asked the attendant at the gas station if it was a good taco truck, she gave me that knowing look like I was a young pirate who just discovered a great treasure. I decided to begin with the tacos. Let me just say, they do not skimp. They don't skimp on portions, they don't skimp on quality, on extras, or presentation. I am writing this in a minor food coma. Four tacos were a bit much. I was able to strip down from two tortillas to one. "It's always makes me feel like I'm making healthy dietary food choices, illusion that it may be." The flautas were good crispy all the way, and the tacos had a mound of carnitas on top. When I ordered the large margarita it was GRANDE! The meat quality is not good but there was a tomato slice and a couple cheap leaves of iceburg lettuce and the bun was alright.I don't like the gimmicks that this chain advertises to lure in the mindless ones. Calling the sugarized sauce, "good good sauce"? Lame. Gimmick. And it wasn't good let alone good good. And I don't like the exorbitant price I have to pay so that Dumb Jack can afford for his jet fuel. Paid $13.26 for a #13 grilled chicken small fry and small drink meal. I don't like the rotten surface of the entire parking lot here. Property owners need to fix that. Major potholes. And the unnecessary curb near the liquor store? Better not hit that pointless hazard.I do like the wonderful service I received from Leticia (name on receipt). I do like that the bathroom was very decent for a fast food restaurant (need to be buzzed in). I do like the clean tables and the floor being mopped while there.
