"Delicious! We had never tried this sushi restaurant so we gave it a go last week! We had the A's roll, the Spicy Johnny, the Yummy Yummy and the Capitol. We also ordered the pepper fin as an appetizer. The pepper fin was to die for, and it was so affordable!! Everything was great, service was great. This will definitely be a new sushi spot for us."
"We had eyed the menu of this place and were curious to try it. Although it is true that it takes a bit to get served, the staff is great and the food is worth it.We enjoyed the ramen, which was very flavorful and traditional- not great to carried away, but a good solid serving. We tried the tempura as well, and fried dumplings and they were on point. Had the dragon roll too and it was very tasty and well balanced. This place definitely made it to our list of favorites whenever we want to try Japanese food."

"Finally, after three attempts at getting seats here, we made it. This time we arrived during their opening at 4:30 on a sizzling summer afternoon. I requested to sit by the bar, but the server said it was closed. I noticed later that it was where they were stacking to-go orders. Place got filled up within 30 minutes. Now people are crowding the small waiting area inside (110F out).We started with a cold drink, the Hana Awaka sparkling sake served in a bucket of ice. Perfect for this afternoon.Decided to get 4 items from the appetizer menu. 1. Lobster Chips. First time having this. Impressed at the ingenuity of the fusion of the crunchy chips with the lobster balls. 2. Brodie's Triple Stack. Another first for us. Tuna, salmon and yellowtail piled over spicy crab. 3. BBQ Tuna. 5 pcs for $20. Large morsels of albacore but sadly lacked flavor. Not the best BBQ Tuna we've had. 4. Hamachi Kama. Another large portion. This dish was fried instead of the grilled collars we've had. Decent. Our last dish was the popular Blue Oaks Roll. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really make an impression. At least we've ticked Tang's Sushi off our Roseville list. Probably won't be back. Pros. One-off dishesCons. Pricey, weak flavors, Unimpressive atmosphere."
"Came here for lunch on a weekday, was not too busy so I didn't have to wait long for my table or food. Very clean modern interior with a TV and sushi bar seating.I ordered the seafood tempura since I rarely see Japanese restaurants that offer tempura other than prawns and veggies. This mix had fish, shrimp, scallop, imitation crab, green beans, onion, carrot, broccoli. Out of these, I would say I enjoyed the fish, shrimp, and broccoli the most. The portion was huge but I managed to eat all of it. It comes with a miso soup as well. This spot also has a raretea inside so I got a very refreshing peach tea to cool off."
"Super cute boba shop! The service was amazing! We got brown sugar milk tea and a strawberry smoothie and they are fire . We also grabbed cake bites and macaroons. yummy.. A+++"
"Had a quick dinner out with my parents. Our servers were really nice and polite. Food was pretty good"
"Love this hidden gem! I first discovered it because a friend and I went to a popular place down on Lincoln Street and found that the wait was going to be nearly an hour! We decided we didn't want to wait that long so searched for something else and this is where we ended up. So glad fate brought us here! Since that initial visit, we've been back a few times... pleased with the service and dishes each time.My sister joined us on our most recent visit - she and her family go to Mikuni 95% of the time, but she was very happy with the food here and said she'd likely be back as well. The atmosphere here is about as opposite as you can get - where Mikuni is generally very busy and "loud", Sakura is small and chill... yet the food is still great. We started off with a Goyza Plate as an appetizer... the "plate" added a few interesting things to the usual deep fried pot stickers - there was some green salad, sticky rice and an orange - all with great presentation. We then went with three rolls - the Arizona Roll, Sakura Roll and Godzilla Roll. All were great - and large rolls! The Arizona Roll was the spiciest and my sister decided it was a little bit too much for her so she stayed with the other two. While we were getting close to finishing, the waitress surprised us with another small dish - a salmon appetizer. It's always nice to be surprised like this! I'm not even sure if the dish was normally on the menu, but WOW - it was some of the tastiest salmon I've ever had! So buttery and tender, it just melted in our mouths! We all loved it! Much appreciated!I'll definitely keep this place in mind whenever I'm in the area and wanting sushi. Highly recommended!"
"Leaving my review after my second visit here. This will become our new go-to for sushi. The rolls are great and the price unmatched. Not to mention service was fast and very friendly. We will continue to come here."
"Midtown Dining [Sacramento CA]My daughter introduced us to this sushi restaurant located in Midtown. We don't come to Sacramento enough so it was a nice change of venue for dining. We were seated immediately. The menu can be scanned on the QR code but it's very tiny on the phone. Seeing how we were struggling to view the menu online were given a paper menu but we were told that the prices were not updated. We ordered the following:Wakame SaladBroadway RollTempura UdonBento Box - Teriyaki Salmon and Beef Teriyaki Food came quickly. The portions on my bento box were generous especially the salmon. The beef was tender and cut in perfect small bite size portions. The house salad was very good. The teriyaki sauce was spread evenly and both salmon and beef were tasty and flavorful. Daughter and husband also enjoyed their meals. The tempura that came with the udon was a large piece and came with mixed vegetable tempura pieces. Hubby said that the broth on the udon was a tad too salty for his taste. The food was a little pricey but even a casual dinner is expensive nowadays. The servers were great and very attentive. Review #3398"
"Outstanding food. Everything is so fresh and tasty. This is our fourth visit and they have not disappointed. The sashimi melts in your mouth and is super fresh. All the rolls are delicious and they have a good variety. So far, I've had seven different rolls, all very good. Service is acceptable and the food arrived in a timely manner. This is no our go to place!!!Check it out."
"Miyagi is a best kept local secret. We have been going to Miyagi for years and the food, and service have been consistently great. We are picky when it comes to sushi, and they use good fish. We've had their tempura, miso soup, sashimi, nigiri, and rolls and everything has been fresh and tasty. They have great ambiance, a nice bar, and happy hour too."

My parents are picky, but they highly approved of the quality of the fish here! Excellent quality. Especially the Korean style chirashi (hwe dup bap) that's not available at every sushi place. Plus they put care and art into their plates- especially the fruit!!

I just can't say enough about Tangs! They consistently hit the mark in both food and service. They literally never miss.Obviously you have to get the chips! Just be careful not to get too full because they are so good! The scallop shooter is a perfect way to kick off your night. Then you absolutely must get the pepperfin!! I don't know wear they get their fish but oh my goodness it is fresh and just melts in your mouth. We love the Fendi roll and get it every time. We tried the Blossom two which is new favorite of mine so much flavor and texture. Bryan was our server that night he was accommodating, friendly, and fun! Service was a 10/10!! If you are in Sacramento it's worth the drive to Roseville for sure. You won't regret it. If you're local then I am just jealous I would be here at least twice a week if I could. Did I mentioned this is family owned by the nicest family?! Enjoy Yelpers!

3/15/2024 Friday. Ordered through GrubHub at around 12:30PM. The restaurant is not too far from where I live. 10 minute drive for the GrubHub driver, so not bad at all. The food seemed made to order. Oishiiiiiiii!4/5 stars. Bento Box Lunch for ONLY $12.95+!!!- Omg!!! It's hard to find bento boxes for this cheap now-a-days! I wouldv'e gave it 5/5 but some of the mixed tempura were soaked in teriyaki sauce, so it was a little soggy. Other than that, still crispy and every thing was DELICIOUS! I was full and satisfied with just eating half of it. The other half, I saved for my fiancé. - You get to choose 2 items for your lunch bento. It comes with salad and sweet dressing sauce, rice and a slice of orange. I wished it came with miso soup. I don't think they even make it here? Cause I didn't see an option to order it. The items I chose were: 1.) Regular Teriyaki. Flavorfully juicy and crispy parts from a charcoal grill. Teriyaki sauce is not too sweet. Just right!2.) Mixed Tempura. WOWWW!!! They give so much and huge portions, too!!! I didn't expect for them to give me 2 gyoza's lol. Idk if that's part of the Mixed Tempura entree or they added it for free?! 2 pieces of carrots, 2 pieces of green beans, 1 chunky broccolli, 1 huge onion ring, zucchini and 1 shrimp. I am super HAPPY =) 4/5 stars. Satori Special Sushi Roll $13.95+.- Inside the roll is shrimp tempura and snow crab. Outside of the roll is salmon, masago (smelt roe: edible tiny eggs of the capelin fish) and avocado. Yasss! Big sizes for an 8 piece roll! I would've gave it 5/5, but yiiiikesss they gave wayyy to much sweet mayo-type sauce. Over powering the authentic taste of each ingredient in the roll. Also, soaked the roll so much that it got soggy quick. Next time, I will ask for really light sauce. Other than that, DELICIOUS!One day, I need to check out the restaurant so I can update this review for their ambiance. Mos def will be ordering from this restaurant again. I'm glad I found a cheap sushi and bento spot! YeeeeeeeeHappy eat's ya'll =)

Quaint little neighborhood spot. Boba is delicious. Customer service nice. Could be aLittle quicker and the air conditioner doesn't seem to be working well to cool off inside. But would def return again for more boba and try other items.

Wow! I was impressed to find this great of a sushi place in Folsom. We came for a birthday and was not disappointed. We arrived in the afternoon right before their buffet was able to end. We were hoping to opt in their sushi buffet, but didn't want to rush ourselves so we ordered a few rolls to share. We wanted a sale to go along with our meal and our server recommended one that we all fell in love with. I wish I remembered the rolls, but to be honest everything we tried was delicious. The service was on point, and our server made sure she answered all our questions. We definitely will be back.

Our family has been coming here for about 6 years now. We were happy this favorite of ours survived the pandemic. It doesn't seem as busy as it as before but I notice the takeout services pick up food often. This restaurant serves great food and has reasonable prices. The husband and wife owners prepare the food and provide service. The restaurant is extremely clean. We've been in with both large groups and small and never have to wait long for our food. Always delicious! Highly recommend.

"We absolutely love Kintaro Sushi Bar restaurant!! I am embarrassed to admit we've never actually sat down and had a meal here. When we are super busy and need to order takeout, this is our to go order place. We've had takeout meals several times over the past couple of years. We've always walked in and made our order to go. The food has always been fresh and consistent. The people working here have always been cordial and helpful. It's a shared parking lot with other businesses. Ample parking but can get tricky on peak times. Eating out has gotten very expensive. I'm positive restaurant owners are feeling the expenses on their end as well. With that being said, their prices are competitive. We enjoy their food and consider it a nice treat!"
"I ordered on Ubereats for a pick up but got there 4 minutes after they closed. They were still SO nice. Food was neatly packed and the take out boxes were loaded! We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the food before we started eating so the pictures are after we had ate some. Uber had 2 BOGO's for the restaurant, a Crunch roll and gyoza. Great deal! Rolls are expensive and you get one free, score in my book. Gyoza is a staple we always get so having more of those was also awesome! We also ordered the pick 2 combo with chicken katsu, pork katsu, chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken and they were all SMACKIN'! Everything was delish like for reals! My husband and I were SO full and happy!"
"You can't go wrong with Bento Box. It's open late, and the service is excellent. The food quality is consistently good, and the prices are reasonable. The drinks are strong, with a full bar and a great selection of cocktails. The atmosphere is relaxed, whether you're enjoying the TV at the bar or having a casual date in the corner. Just a heads-up--avoid sitting by the windows, as people tend to watch you chew your food! If you're craving delicious sushi and a variety of dishes, this is your spot in Midtown."
"A lovely Friday afternoon. Just had some blood drawn after fasting all day.The venue offers both tables and booths for seating and is a bright and open space.I ordered a Bento box lunch with two items - grilled mackerel and shrimp and vegetable tempura. The box also included soup, salad, and rice. The presentation was nice and everything was hot and freshly prepared. The food was delicious and the service was good. The location is in a busy strip mall with plenty of parking allowing for easy access. I have been here several times and have always had a good experience. They offer a wide variety of sushi but I can't comment on the quality of their offerings. I recommend you visit here if you are in the neighborhood and would like Japanese food or sushi."
"In short- really great experience. Recommended dishes were great. Best thing we thought about this place is the food and the service. The cashier and server were kind and attentive. Food was really done well for limited menu items. We'll definitely come again.Restaurant: Food: 5/5Cleanliness: 5/5Service: 5+/5Price: 5/5Great job Koshi- thanks for a nice evening"
"We went there last night. Omg! The place looks fantastic! It's beautiful. The buffet is well stocked with all kinds of food! The food is hot and fresh! The wait staff is very attentive. The sushi is always being made by the sushi chefs. This place is wonderful!"
"What a find. My sis and I were in town for an appointment and after looked for a place to eat. We are so lucky to have found Bonsai. Nice inside with the sweetest people running the place. The food is amazing, with serving sizes very generous. I had chicken teriyaki and tempura prawns. Yummy! And so much I took some home. Sis got the tuna or something like that and raved about it."
"We got here at around 11:30am. The food was fresh! The place is big and by 12:00pm was full and I went around just to see the foods selection again and it was always full and well stocks I was very impressed. My fav is the Mongolian stir fry bar, it was so fun to add the things you want to the noodle and there is an option to get tacos as well. There were many foods section mostly Asian foods but there is pizza and chicken wings as well. They also have great selection of sushi. It was only $14.99/ person. There are many desserts selections as well! Service was great! They always refill my water when it get low and they clear the table when needed. I didn't feels like I need to look for them or feels they rushing me either. Will definitely come back!"
"Cute little spot, but parking is pretty limited. Since it's near a residential area, you might be able to find street parking in the neighborhood. Prices for ramen, udon, and donburi are reasonable, but the tacos are on the pricey side. Service was quick.I tried the Taco Unagi, and it was pretty solid. The unagi sauce was a bit more tart than I'm used to, but the eel itself was melt in your mouth soft. The veggies added a nice crunch, and the taco shell (which I think was fried seaweed) was crispy but bland on its own. Also got the Classic Ramen (no bamboo, no ginger), and it was alright. They gave a lot of noodles. The broth had good flavor without being too heavy. My friend loved the noodles and thought they were super bouncy with a nice chew. They ordered the taco crab mix, curry udon, and shoyu ramen, and they seemed to enjoy their food too!"
"Experienced this place as a need to eat location at the mall; deviating from the normal stuff. It was a treat to find a place that had some original and very fresh food that fed the senses and the taste buds weren't left out by no means. The udon and tempura combo I ordered was flavorful, a ton of food, tempura everything was amazing. And for $12? A steal for what you got!My only issue - speed of preparation. Not sure if this was typical or if standard preparation time, but it seemed a bit long for not too many orders ahead of me. I'll check them out again soon and see if the experience is the same. All the same... for a "mall spot," impressive!!!"
"Probably closer to 3.5 stars than an even 3. I've been to this strip mall dozens of times and I've driven by the Bento Box a bunch. I don't think I ever thought to try it though. I was driving and craving sushi, went to Yelp and this popped up. I went over and ordered some food just as they opened. It took some time to get the order which I'm okay with. They actually prep as orders are placed and that's a huge plus. The menu is vast and had something for everyone. Lots of cream cheese options, which I refuse to even attempt, lots of fried options and good selection of rolls. Bento box options are solid too and the quality was good. Nothing special and nothing crazy. Just solid, delicious, relatively cheaper sushi options than the fancy pants spots down the road. Take out service was great, considering it was packed and all orders take place at the counter. Nice flow of food coming out and being delivered quickly."
"The service is great very attentive, the food is amazing and this is a take out it came with 2 deliciouscrab rangoon.I had the lychee soda also good. It's a little too sweet for my liking but overall it's good. The aesthetical of the restaurant is very clean in a converted fast food kind of way."
"Super delicious food with a great environment and great service!!We have been here so many times trying various items and EVERYTHING is ON POINT!Favorite go to is the pan thick noodles with chicken. The chicken is super juicy and flavorful. Sooo much food and sooo delicious!!! We've also loved the sushi. Super fresh! And the rolls and awesome!!The patio is GORGEOUS!! With a wind breaker screen so you can enjoy the view but not be blasted by the wind. We've loved every roll we have tasted. This time we had the Folsom Ranch - so refreshing with the lemon and just a really great flavor!Lexi - we love this roll! The cucumber wrap and ingredients give a nice crunch, refreshing bite and the flavors of each of the ingredients is perfectly distinct, yet marry well! The Mango Hamachi daily special. This was delicious! The sauce was good and the combination of flavors was great!"
"The honey teriyaki chicken is fire!! It's so flavorful and tender. I am willing to drive out here from South Sacramento for this here meal."
"This just happens to be my honeys favorite sushi spot so we come here often. Rolls are 50% off like most sushi spots in Sacramento so about $11 each after discount. BF ordered some spicy rolls, TNT and FIREFLY. I really appreciate the perfect temperature of each dish. Service is as fast as can be. Seating for 2 is usually no wait. Deducted a star for the rib eye which was chewy gristle. So this time around I opted for the chicken breast - Combo meals come with a salad, soup and rice so it's worth the price of $22. We also ordered hot green tea, no sweetener although they include it on the side. This was hot af so be careful handling this. Ambiance is clean, modern with flat screens on the walls playing sports games so perfect if you don't want to miss a game while out eating with your honey."
"From the first step in & the hostess putting the call on hold to welcome us to the face to face with the owner, hard to find fault - with the service.I think what made this evening so nice - is that it not busy in the restaurant-the phone orders were off the hook!I know, selfish of me - Alex is wonderful to speak with - of course wish they busier, just 112 degrees outside-The rolls we got, the 911 and Sierra College were spicy, shrimp filled and delish."
"Amazing service and restaurant in general! My family and I ate here during Christmas Day! Grateful that they even worked during the holidays! The venue was very large! It can accommodate a large group in comparison to your traditional small sushi restaurants. There were already people there but we got seated right away.I would highly recommend any of their garlic nigiris! My family kept order them because they were all delicious! Of course we got your classic rolls and side dishes like miso soup and edamame! Everything in their menu was great! It's worth the AYCE!The service was amazing! Although the place was packed, our waitress was always there if we needed anything!Overall, I'd highly recommend!!"
"This area used to be my neck of the woods and I never got a chance to try Jinme Ramen & Sushi until recently. Not only is this a great date spot, it's a great 'just because' you want amazing food spot!JRSB is easily spotted from the road during the day and at night, it has outdoor seating with patio lighting. Since it was a hot day, we sat inside. We picked window seating and received our drinks right away. I have heard the ramen at this spot is delicious, so that was at the top of our list and we were going all out. As we put in our order, the owner sent our table a complimentary veggie spring roll appetizer with a side sauce. So delicious thank you chef!We ordered the Bulgoli fries for our appetizer. They were piping hot worry with a sweet Sriracha and a sweet mayo drizzled on top, bulgoli (marinated chopped ribeye) and finished with jalapenos. They were good, but the meat was chopped so small, the bits of steak on top weren't as enjoyable. Maybe overcooked and the fries got cold quick. As we nibbled on both, we watched the dining room fill up and the owners hard at work behind the sushi counter. We received our spicy ramen bowls (there are three levels of spice, I got the meduim, level 2, and he got hot, level 3). All ramen bowls come with a pork broth. I ordered mine with pork belly and he ordered his with steak. They looked mouth watering irresistible. Along with our ramen, we received The Reggae sushi roll and The JLO sushi roll. Both topped with salmon and masago, filed with deep fried shrimp. The biggest difference in our rolls is that The Reggae has cream cheese and cucumber and The JLO has imitation crab... but first things first... we sipped our broth. It was delicious. He let me try his and that was pretty spicy, but I loved mine. I feel like with the medium, I can taste the spice and taste the gorgeous flavor of the broth. The Pork Belly and Steak Ramen looked beautiful. Our Ramen bowls have kimchi, bean sprouts, spinach, cilantro, and fresh green ramen noodles. Every bite was intoxicating, I wanted more! I thought the pork belly was so delicious! It was juicy and cooked perfectly! After going around the table between sushi, ramen, spring rolls, fries... we did hit a breaking point. Plus, how amazing would it be to sit at home and finish this together? Not wasting another minute, we got everything boxed up, he paid, and on our way out, we also tipped the owners/sushi chefs personally. They have a clear fish jar on the sushi bar, SO DON'T FORGET TO SHOW SOME LOVE!Jinme Ramen & Sushi Bar is a restaurant I must come back to. Not only am I craving their delicious food, but the atmosphere was perfect. It is set up with tables & chairs. It's the perfect place to enjoy your time with someone, or even order takeout and enjoy it at home. THANK YOU for a wonderful delicious experience. We will see you again soon!"
"We loved our experience at Kobe Steak & Sushi! The hibachi show down was super entertaining! I was really surprised that they don't require reservations for small parties. You must call to reserve if you have more than 5 guests. We were immediately greeted and sat down shortly after we arrived. We started with drinks soup & salad. I loved the salad dressing! It had some peanut undertones. We ordered sushi as an appetizer, the Elk Grove roll was delicious!!I had salmon as my main dish and husband ordered steak. Our chef was super interactive and gave my husband tons of sake! He was very generous on the mouth pour, it was pretty funny! The portions are super large and I couldn't finish everything on my plate. Tons of grilled veggies, delivery fried rice, and the honey glaze on the salmon really stole the show! We will definitely come back for another date night!"
"This restaurant just opened this week, It is a solid sushi spot and will definitely be one of my top choices. We had the Sashimi Deluxe which was salmon, stripped sea bass, hamachi and otoro, fish was excellent, very fresh, generous portions, and tender. Plus they serve it with pickled wasabi which is a bonus in my book. The baked green mussels were on point, the sauce had a nice kick and the mussels were hearty. The Scorpion Roll, deep fried soft shell crab, tempura shrimp with steamed shrimp on top was decadent. Enough sauce to compliment it but not to overpower it."
"The roll in the first photo was I believe the salmon drop (10/10 would recommend) the second was the dragon rollI'd say it was a (7/10) but that's because i prefer a bit more flavor and wasn't into some of the fish it included mainly due to consistency. However all the fish tasted fresh. Would def try the sake and beer pictured in the photo! So good! They both were yummy and went down so smoothly. The ambiance was nice, clean and the staff was attentive and courteous. A huge plus is they have so many options to choose from! Definitely a must try if you're in the area and craving sushi!"
"I've been wanting to try a special omakase dinner for the longest time, and when I saw that Azayaka was serving it at a reasonable price, I was all over it. You can make a reservation through their webpage and save some dough since it is cheaper than a walk-in. Also, the walk-in is not guaranteed seating, so if you are set on omakase at a certain time, make sure to do the reservation. You have to make a 50% deposit to secure the reservation. It's a nice simple restaurant without a lot of fancy decor, which shows me they are all about the food. Once you tell them you have your reservation they will guide you to place settings at the bar.I posted a picture of their winter omakase menu. It had some amazing exotic dishes that I never thought I'd be trying. The first and foremost was the grilled shirako (google it). I've heard of it before, and I admit it didn't sound like something I wanted to eat, but I was gonna try everything and get the full experience. Lo and behold it was actually quite tasty and the texture was rich and creamy. It was mild and a little smokey flavored. A very unique experience indeed. The second exotic item I had was the monkfish liver. It also had a smokey flavor and a rich texture. I was glad I had a chance to experience it. The omakase included 8 pieces of nigiri, and they were all excellent and super fresh and of the highest quality. My favorites being the torched A5 wagyu with truffle on top and the torched otoro (fatty tuna) of course. Other highlights included a grilled lamb chop with kiwi jam. That was super fantastic and I can remember all the flavors distinctly. OMG the hand roll! It was just incredible, so fresh and tasty, it was the best hand roll I've ever had "hands down". I've never tried chazuki before and it was a really nice end to the meal. It had abalone that was not tough but chewy enough like abalone should be. The rice had some sear to it with smokey goodness. Dessert was a multi layer cake that was really light and delectable. The chef was really cool, friendly, and pleasant. He explained things and answered questions and it was a treat to see him create every tasty morsel. I had high expectations going in and boy was I satisfied and more. I'm looking forward to coming back for the spring menu and even coming to dine here for their regular menu. I was impressed and highly recommend it to everyone."
"Food: I got salmon, ahi, and shrimp in my bowl. Everything was fresh. Ordered the regular size bowl with 3 scoops. Price, just under $19 total. No extras. A lot of topping options and sauce options. Bowl was very good... but maybe a tad overpriced. Service: Place wasn't busy at the hour I went in (approx. 1pm). So, quick service. Person who took my ordered gave recommendations on sauces. Very polite. Ambience: Clean, white walls and tables. A little basic besides the cute neon light that was good for a photo op. Napkin and utensil station was clean."
