"I know what you're thinking--all-you-can-eat? No way it's good. I thought the same, and boy, was I wrong. This place seriously surprised me!We went on a Tuesday and got the all-you-can-eat option, which also included unlimited sake and beer. It was absolutely delicious, and we will definitely be back.We heard about this spot through an IG post, so we were skeptical, thinking it might just be fake promo. But no, it's actually great--and the service was, too! While it did take a bit of time to get each round of food, it was worth the wait. Plus, time flies with unlimited drinks and good company. We didn't opt for the premium menu, but the standard option was still fantastic.Pros:- High-quality fish, especially the torched rolls.- Amazing apps: seaweed salad, chicken karaage, and gyoza were all fantastic.- Delicious calamari (just needed a bit of salt).- Great atmosphere and service.Cons:- The spicy tuna roll wasn't for us; it had a sweet sesame flavor that wasn't our favorite.- The green tea ice cream was served in plastic ramekins with lids, and the quality could have been better.- Food took a while to come out, but the unlimited drinks made up for it.Overall, we were blown away by how good this place was. Can't wait to come back!"
"The food was awesome so delicious place is clean and service is always wonderful this is my 2nd time coming. This is gonna be my regular place to come too!!!"

"We usually come a bit early to avoid larger crowds and to get fresher rolls. Always seated right away and super friendly sushi chef at bar and waitress' getting our dinner going. We like coming here cause tables are clean upon sitting and we can actually hear one another talk. The lobster hand roll, tako nigiri, and Shelly roll are my faves. The hubs likes the ziggy roll."
"Every time I visit Sacramento, I make sure to visit Raku sushi. I usually go to the Sacramento location but we were shopping at the Roseville galleria so we decided to check this location out. First off, I was surprised that there was no wait because there usually is one at the other location. I love how affordable their lunch option is and even the dinner. The service was a lot better here because our server made sure to constantly check up on us and had our food coming out quickly. I LOVE the nigiri because the fish quality is good and with a reasonable amount of rice. My favorite thing to order is the salmon and hamachi nigiri. Make sure to end your dinner with a doughnut because those are delicious too! Next time I'm in the area and craving sushi, I will make sure to come to the Rocklin Raku location."
"From the first step in & the hostess putting the call on hold to welcome us to the face to face with the owner, hard to find fault - with the service.I think what made this evening so nice - is that it not busy in the restaurant-the phone orders were off the hook!I know, selfish of me - Alex is wonderful to speak with - of course wish they busier, just 112 degrees outside-The rolls we got, the 911 and Sierra College were spicy, shrimp filled and delish."
"This was my first time at its sushi and it was highly recommended to me by my coworkers. The entire experience was amazing. I went early around 5:45 and there were tons of tables open. It did start getting busy by 6:15 so I'd recommend going early. I chose the option B ayce menu which also includes items from the A menu and includes the specials for the day (usually one order per person) they rotate different dishes which is really nice so you can always try different dishes and not just the same ayceThe menu is very huge: they have appetizers, cooked dishes, miso soups, nigiri and all sorts of hand rolls and sushi rolls.I was surprised with how fast the food came and how great the service was for an ayce. I would definitely come here again and hands down best sushi ayce Salmon belly 5/5 amazing but sadly only one order personSalmon and garlic nigiri 4/5Yuzu yellowtail 4/5Salmon handroll 4/5: lots of salmon but next time I'll try the salmon with avocado handrollUnagi handroll 5/5: good amount of unagi and added cucumbers which was niceSalmon puff: 5/5 this was so delicious, I wish it was on the menu always. Only one order person Salmon person cause it was a daily specialSalmon Kama: 5/5 perfectly baked with a wonderful ponzu sauce. This was a daily special but they do have hamachi Kama regularly on their menuMini udon: 4/5 perfectly cute size of udon and just enough to get a taste and cleanse your palette Baked mussels: 5/5 perfectly baked and creamy, these were addictive a must getSoft shell crab 3/5 a bit too oily for mePoke salmon: 4/5 they give tons and tons of salmon which is great and cucumbers but def Korean flavors with gochujang. I wouldn't call it a poke Desserts: mochi, ice cream or sherbet. You get to order one person"

"Poke Fix always satisfies my poke bowl cravings!! A friend had actually recommended this spot to me.Service is friendly! They surprisingly don't skimp out and fill my poke bowls very nicely! So no complaints here:) I usually do a regular size create your own poke bowl with half sushi rice and half salad. They have a good variety of proteins, sauce, veggies & toppings. I have yet to try other items on the menu, there's so many to choose from!"
"Great experience. Service was quick and food was excellent. The Tuna Don was an above average dish and they added some very nice details to the dish to make it not so basic. Would highly recommend and I'll be going back."
"Fresh off the grill! I always get double chicken which is 250g of protein, greens and white rice! Great job team CF keep up the great work we love u guys"
"I ordered the crazy and Gozilla roll. Both were very good. It was just enough to fill me for a late lunch price range is average. The spicy sauce on top was perfect. I plan to order again soon."
"We've been coming here for 7+ years now. This is a nice little gem in Greenhaven that I discovered while living there. Even though we're now in Natomas, we still come back because of the consistency of the food.We always order the same thing, too: Bento Box w/ Teriyaki Salmon and Sesame Chicken Mixed Tempura, Miso Soup & the Hawaiian Poke Roll. Along with Hot Sake. Everything just hits the spot. We always leave full and content. The Mixed Tempura is some of the best I've had (and I know the picture I took wasn't). It's always cooked perfectly and is crispy and delicious. Never once has it been soggy. Granted, tempura is not a to go item. It needs to be eaten NOW! I honestly haven't tried many of their rolls simply because I prefer simplicity over rolls with tons of sauces. The Poke being our exception.I'll say what knocks a star off is the inconsistent service. This place gets tons of DoorDash orders and they seem to prioritize them. We walk in and there's literally 15 to go orders and drivers standing around. As a result, you only have like two waiters to greet and wait tables. So I'd recommend going at non-peak hours since the to go orders seem to slow down after 630. My other gripe is the cleanliness of the place. The floorboards near the walls are absolutely filthy. I try not to look, but it's hard not to notice. I just hope their kitchen looks better. All in all, a really solid place for Japanese food, and it blows Mikunis out of the water!"

While getting my car worked on, I needed some lunch. That's when I discovered Umi Sushi! It was about 1:05 p.m. and they were still running their lunch service. As I walked in everyone greeted me and let me sit by the window at a table that was half bench with 2 chairs. They had the TV on ESPN, which I like this time of year! I looked over the menu and noticed they have an All You Can Eat lunch for $37. Or I could've ordered 2 rolls for a similar price, but because I like a variety, so I decided to go with the AYCE sushi!I started with some bbq beef short ribs (it was one, cut up into pieces), spicy edamame, and a salmon skin handroll. I could've ordered a few of those bbq beef short ribs, but I wanted to try as much as I could fit! I guess I'm not a salmon skin kinda girl. I like my salmon raw, lol. This has bits of cooked salmon stuck to the skin, which I'm sure is usual, but but my thing. As my waitress checked up on me, I would order the next item to try. Krispy shrimp roll, lion king roll, salmon poki, chicken karaage(these are like dark meat fried chicken nuggets) , salmon nigiri, and last, the Tonkotsu ramen with chadhu (you can sub tofu). All were very delicious, except the Krispy shrimp roll. I could tell the shrimp was not fried that day. The batter on the fried shrimp felt like it was a day or two old, and the shrimp didn't taste like shrimp. It was like it lost its flavor from being stored a few days. I stayed away from anything with fried or Krispy shrimp at that point. I enjoyed the service! She was fast and was always there if she saw me looking around. They weren't busy, but were steady with orders. The table next to me also had the AYCE sushi and I know they also throughly enjoyed their lunch!I will probably not get anything with shrimp, but I will be back for another round. I'll bring my man and a few friends next time!

I always have a good time when I come here. I've been a frequent here from before they were in this building. All I can say is that I've enjoyed them back then, and I still enjoy them now.The reason I like this place is because when I have a craving for Sushi, I know I'm gonna get my fill every time. I've tried most of the items on the dinner menu (which I'm kinda surprised the price jacked up so much...), but that's only because you get to eat as much as you want. I'm a big eater, so putting down at least 50 rolls is light work. The place is casual, but I've seen people come in dressed up as well. Pretty chill spot but the seats are a little uncomfortable. I think they do that on purpose so people don't spend too long in there lol.The service was good. It was completely full in there, but the workers were able to get the food out quickly. All of the rolls were amazing, fresh, tasty, and presentable. I just really love this place!I'll be back again in a while. I got my sushi fix lol.

Honestly this was a horrible experience. My sister & I decided to try this location because we like the one in west sac, but that was a mistake. No one came to get us water, and it took 30 min to have someone take an order. On top of that the food was so so & that's putting it kindly.

The mister & I decided we wanted to crush some sushi. We came for an AYCE lunch on a Friday & were seated immediately. The ambiance was clean, comfortable, bright, & open. Our server explained how things worked & answered our questions. We were impressed by the variety of offerings. Because it wasn't too busy, it didn't take long to get our food & we could order at will.We appreciated that you can get half-sized rolls (except on baked & 6 piece rolls), which allowed for the stomach capacity to try more different items. All the rolls we tried were tasty. The baked rolls were SUPER cream cheesy rich. Though a few rolls had a scant piece of fish on an end, overall we thought the fish to rice ratio was good. They don't try to overfill you on rice! We got green tea ice cream for our one dessert item & I just love a tiny spoon. Our server, Kimberlee, was friendly, pleasant, & attentive. Other servers would also help bring our orders or refill our waters. My inner competitive eater with a hollow leg was in full effect. We left quite full & happily satisfied! Definitely worth it.

I'm surprised it took me so long to try this place. I love poke, sushi and fresh fish. Luckily, as I was searching Yelp for a new spot to try Poke Fix came up.Their online ordering is super easy to navigate and has great photos to accompany each menu item. I selected the California Roll ($6.50), Truxel Roll ($10.50), Natomas Roll ($13.99), Spam Musubi ($5.99) and the Works Burrito ($16.99).I drove over to pick it up and it was ready right away. Parking was easy, with plenty of spots in the lot. The staff member was so friendly and we chatted while they put my order into bags and grabbed some wasabi and ginger as well as soy sauce for the order. I learned that I ordered some favorites of theirs and it made me even more excited to dig in.I drove straight home and dove right in (after taking photos). The Works Burrito has ahi tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, crab salad, avocado, cucumbers, green onions, fried onions and garlic ponzu sauce. It was a good amount of fish and great balance of ingredients. I did find myself wanting a bit of sauce and dipped it in some wasabi and soy sauce, but next time I think I'd try to get a side of one of the creamy sauces to dip in.I tried some of the sushi rolls as well, the California roll is what I expected and hits the spot for a California roll. The Natomas roll has tempura shrimp, spicy tuna and lemon inside and salmon, crab salad, masago, green onions and fried onions on top along with creamy garlic and spicy mayo sauces. I liked it a lot, especially thr crab salad being on top, under the salmon, but the tempura shrimp inside was just ok.The Truxel Roll has salmon, crab salad & avocado inside and masago, micro-greens & sesame seeds on top with creamy garlic and miso ginger sauces. This one was my favorite, it was super fresh and flavorful. The Spam Musubi came hot and fresh and was a great value.I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

"I took my daughter and grandkids to lunch there today. The food was delicious (sushi rolls, teriyaki chicken bowl and teriyaki beef bento box) and the service was great! We will eat there again soon."
"This might be my new favorite sushi spot! The rolls are more affordable than other places & their food is sooo good! Driving up, it's a smaller parking lot, but I haven't had a problem finding parking yet. They just expanded their restaurant so there's a lot more seating! The staff is super friendly and will check in on you every so often. On to the important part. The food.My favorites:Linet rollMikey rollHousewife special Other rolls I tried that are good but not crazy to my taste buds. Haha Alex roll - good but extra garlic which I do love ShogunGodzilla The bento box with chicken teriyaki was also good! & it had big portions! Come check this place out!"
"Had a quick dinner out with my parents. Our servers were really nice and polite. Food was pretty good"
"My friend found this place on YELP so we had to try it for our monthly date! I chose to visit at 1pm but on the way there i noticed they do close at 230 and reopen at 4 for dinner. Glad we got there in time and they weren't as busy as i thought they would be. We were able to sit at the bar! We both ordered bento boxes and a roll each. I had the salmon and it was filling. The box comes with soup, 1 or 2 entrees, salad fruit and rice. Let me tell you I'm usually not a fan of the dressing on salad in bento boxes but theirs is YUMM i give my box a 5/5 the flavor was perfect. Nothing was over powered with sauceSoy wrapped Venus roll!!!! I love a roll that has a thin slice of lemon something about it make it refreshing. 5/5. I enjoyed being here the service was great, they greet when you come in, very friendly and genuine. We stayed a little after eating since we were chatting but never felt rushed they even continued to refill our waters during or talk session. I will be back."
"New favorite sushi joint alert! My fiancée and I finally tried this place after passing by and saying to ourselves, "we need to go there!"Well I was nearby finishing up a workout at In Shape fitness and she was about to take her lunch break and floated the idea out there to meet. I said yes with the quickness! I got there early and got us a table and drinks. The lunch crowd was winding down as it was close to 2pm. The staff here were very accommodating and kept checking to see if I was ready to order. As soon as my fiancée said she was on her way I put in a couple appetizer orders. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms and mixed tempura. The tempura was absolutely delicious! The carrots were so crispy. The broccoli was on point and the one shrimp we got with the mix was phenomenal. Loved the entire plate. The stuffed mushrooms were huge, filled with snow crab and cream cheese and drizzled with a slight tangy sauce. We devoured all of them without regret lol.We decided to split a bento box with sesame chicken and tonkatsu as the proteins. Also ordered the King roll. The sesame chicken here was done so well. It was my favorite of all the things I ate. The tonkatsu was super crispy and the tonkatsu sauce was rich with flavor. Really enjoyed my experience at this local spot. It's in the shadow of Kru which is one of the top sushi spots in the Sacramento region. Parking here can be a bit of a drag but the food makes up for the hassle!"
"Local gem! Our favorite sushi place with lots of different options! We have brought family from out of town and they agree that it is good sushi! My husband is diabetic and loves that there are options that he can have guilt free without significantly impacting his sugar levels. He gets the saki bomb sushi and salmon drop. I like the fantastic four and the dancing scallops. The service is great even when they are busy!! It has a cool vibe with tall wooden pillars around the dining area."
"I ordered on Ubereats for a pick up but got there 4 minutes after they closed. They were still SO nice. Food was neatly packed and the take out boxes were loaded! We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the food before we started eating so the pictures are after we had ate some. Uber had 2 BOGO's for the restaurant, a Crunch roll and gyoza. Great deal! Rolls are expensive and you get one free, score in my book. Gyoza is a staple we always get so having more of those was also awesome! We also ordered the pick 2 combo with chicken katsu, pork katsu, chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken and they were all SMACKIN'! Everything was delish like for reals! My husband and I were SO full and happy!"
"When I'm doing research on Japanese restaurants. Soho Sushi always shows up in my research. However, the mixed reviews stopped me from going there for a long time! I finally tried them out. I like them very much. I love both of their yummy foods and excellent customer service. The dining room is also nice and comfortable. I'm sure I will enjoy my meal at Soho Sushi again!"
"I came here with my wife for a lunch date. We were greeted very enthusiastically and they didn't make us feel weird about using a BOGO coupon. The place was clean and it had a great view, with a fountain outside. I am told they have live music on weekends. For about $60 weeks ordered two roles and a bento. We liked the sushi and my wife really liked there was a rice alternative.I had the chicken katsu that I am afraid I did not enjoy, but the spicy tuna roll was actually spicy, which was a nice change.Plenty of parking."
"Food: I got salmon, ahi, and shrimp in my bowl. Everything was fresh. Ordered the regular size bowl with 3 scoops. Price, just under $19 total. No extras. A lot of topping options and sauce options. Bowl was very good... but maybe a tad overpriced. Service: Place wasn't busy at the hour I went in (approx. 1pm). So, quick service. Person who took my ordered gave recommendations on sauces. Very polite. Ambience: Clean, white walls and tables. A little basic besides the cute neon light that was good for a photo op. Napkin and utensil station was clean."
"Jensai is great! The location is kind've weird (on 16th right next to the freeway), but Jensai is consistent, reasonably priced, and the food is bangin. I'm big on creativity and flavor (no boring, country stuff), and Jensai brings it. Their roll with habanero in it is my favorite! There isn't much ambiance here, the inside definitely is a hair dated, but I typically do takeout. Service is very friendly as well!If the inside was updated a hair I'd give Jensai 5 stars. But for now it gets a still incredible 4.5/5 in my book. Highly recommended!"
"I've been wanting to try a special omakase dinner for the longest time, and when I saw that Azayaka was serving it at a reasonable price, I was all over it. You can make a reservation through their webpage and save some dough since it is cheaper than a walk-in. Also, the walk-in is not guaranteed seating, so if you are set on omakase at a certain time, make sure to do the reservation. You have to make a 50% deposit to secure the reservation. It's a nice simple restaurant without a lot of fancy decor, which shows me they are all about the food. Once you tell them you have your reservation they will guide you to place settings at the bar.I posted a picture of their winter omakase menu. It had some amazing exotic dishes that I never thought I'd be trying. The first and foremost was the grilled shirako (google it). I've heard of it before, and I admit it didn't sound like something I wanted to eat, but I was gonna try everything and get the full experience. Lo and behold it was actually quite tasty and the texture was rich and creamy. It was mild and a little smokey flavored. A very unique experience indeed. The second exotic item I had was the monkfish liver. It also had a smokey flavor and a rich texture. I was glad I had a chance to experience it. The omakase included 8 pieces of nigiri, and they were all excellent and super fresh and of the highest quality. My favorites being the torched A5 wagyu with truffle on top and the torched otoro (fatty tuna) of course. Other highlights included a grilled lamb chop with kiwi jam. That was super fantastic and I can remember all the flavors distinctly. OMG the hand roll! It was just incredible, so fresh and tasty, it was the best hand roll I've ever had "hands down". I've never tried chazuki before and it was a really nice end to the meal. It had abalone that was not tough but chewy enough like abalone should be. The rice had some sear to it with smokey goodness. Dessert was a multi layer cake that was really light and delectable. The chef was really cool, friendly, and pleasant. He explained things and answered questions and it was a treat to see him create every tasty morsel. I had high expectations going in and boy was I satisfied and more. I'm looking forward to coming back for the spring menu and even coming to dine here for their regular menu. I was impressed and highly recommend it to everyone."
"We like sitting at the bar when we have sushi. It's fun to see the chefs prepare the fish!Second time here and we recommend it!We were here on a Friday, and it filled in quickly. We had three tasty rolls, edamame and wine & beer. We recommend everything...we'll be back!"
"A local gem!FOOD: I always get the bento box with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, gyoza, salad and rice. The teriyaki sauce is some of the best I have ever had. They perfectly grill the chicken. The portion sizes are large. I always finish full and happy after this meal. SERVICE: I always get take out. The staff is timely and professional. AMBIANCE: Everytime I get take out I think to myself I really should eat inside. The decor is modern and clean. Do not be fooled by the outside strip mall, this place is super cute! Overall, will I be back? Yes, this is one of my favorite places to eat in the city!"
"Buy 2 get 1 free on rolls special Monday-Thursday all day. I love it! Ordered for pick up. We got a wow roll, lion king and MVP roll. All were so fresh and so tasty. I have to come back here and do the AYCE option with the family soon!"
"My recent visit to The Izakaya was fantastic! The ambiance was inviting, with a modern yet cozy design that made for a comfortable dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met.The sushi was incredibly fresh and expertly crafted. We ordered a variety of rolls, including the Daddy's Roll, Titanic Roll, and the Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, all were bursting with flavor. We also had some sashimi that melted in my mouth. The presentation was beautiful, making each dish a delight for the eyes as well.I found the prices to be very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the skill involved in their preparation. While some items were priced a bit higher than typical sushi spots, the overall experience and taste made it worth every penny. In conclusion, I would highly recommend The Izakaya to anyone looking for an exceptional sushi experience. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or someone trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed. I look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu!"
"We absolutely love Kintaro Sushi Bar restaurant!! I am embarrassed to admit we've never actually sat down and had a meal here. When we are super busy and need to order takeout, this is our to go order place. We've had takeout meals several times over the past couple of years. We've always walked in and made our order to go. The food has always been fresh and consistent. The people working here have always been cordial and helpful. It's a shared parking lot with other businesses. Ample parking but can get tricky on peak times. Eating out has gotten very expensive. I'm positive restaurant owners are feeling the expenses on their end as well. With that being said, their prices are competitive. We enjoy their food and consider it a nice treat!"
"Food was good. I thought having overcooked beef in the ramen was kinda odd, but I enjoyed the broth and ate most the noodles. Oysters were good as well, although I wished I had read that it was topped with pickled wasabi...I would've asked it to be put on the side. Daughter enjoyed the sashimi. Gave it 4 stars because I didn't see on the table that there was a 4% card fee."
"Raw Sushi has been on my list of places to check out since it opened and finally got a chance to check it out. Made some reservations ahead of time and once we arrived we were seated within seconds. The entire layout of the restaurant was done really well, there's enough space between tables, bar seating and a ton of TV's playing football games. There's a large variety of food on the menu and the sushi rolls are huge so come with an appetite. Service was great and our server did a good job of explaining the different types of food and options they had. Looking forward to go back for food or even watch a basketball or football game."
"I'm craving for sushi, then I saw this place, and it's 50%off all house sushi. Disappointed: 1. My hot tea - looks like there's soap or oil layer on my tea, asked the server , he changed it!2. Ordered house deep fried sushi, looks like they served only half of what they normally would serve for full price. Explain am I wrong how I understood the advertisement? Half price for half regular sushi serve? Or half price for the regular whole sushi servings they have.? to me. Look at the pics. 3. The place was not that busy, I'm half way on my lunch, when the server gave me my bill... could have waiter atleast I'm 80% done, you're not busy that lunch time."
"Miyagi is a best kept local secret. We have been going to Miyagi for years and the food, and service have been consistently great. We are picky when it comes to sushi, and they use good fish. We've had their tempura, miso soup, sashimi, nigiri, and rolls and everything has been fresh and tasty. They have great ambiance, a nice bar, and happy hour too."
"Stopped in for dinner on Friday night. Cute restaurant in Rancho Cordova. Clean and modern. Tried the beef teriyaki plate, combination tempura dinner, and North Star roll. We liked our orders. Everything was tasty and good proportions! We will come back and try other rolls next time. Restaurant wasn't too busy when we got there, but more people started to come around 730p. Fast, friendly service! Overall, nice dinner with the fam."
"Ridiculously good. The staff is so accommodating to dietary restrictions and the food is so so so good. I had bariatric surgery and I cannot tolerate rice and they have made me rice less rolls so I can still enjoy their food!!! The ambiance is very laid back, it looks nice inside and has a full bar. Always good music playing and they are very attentive. A must try place if you are in Sacramento, Arden."
