"So I guess I haven't this place before. If you are a night-owl, then you need to check this place out. They are open pretty late, which is a huge plus for me, especially since I get out late from work. Hubby will ask me what's for dinner, and I will sometimes tell him Pho! So although their pho isn't necessarily my number one go to, it is the best late at night and it really hits "the spot", so to speak. I also really like the shrimp rolls as my appetizer, hubby really enjoys the angel wings. The place can be pretty busy since it is one of the few restaurants open super late. The place has a couple of TV's where you can watch music videos or sports. Late at night there seems to be only 1 server/cashier, so be patient. These guys aren't fast food.I come here quite frequently, and will continue since they are the only late night pho option."
"We had a coworker who was leaving us, so we took him here for lunch as a send-off. The Kick 'N Mule was a bit of hard to find. You drive inside the shopping center and they're located in the inside nearest West Capitol Avenue. And looking for a parking spot was a bit of a nightmare (especially during meal times). Good thing I had a handicapped pass which allowed me to park in the 15 minutes zones. The others in our group weren't that lucky. But the place was very nice and cozy for a sports bar. A bit dark, but the place was very clean. In the center was the bar and around it were dining tables (or cubicles that could probably fit 3 to 4 people - more if they were skinnier). The service was really good! We were greeted the moment we arrived and our drink orders were immediately taken. There was around twelve in our party, but that didn't hinder the speed of the service. The food was also great. Our boss ordered Deep Fried Oreos and everyone said it tasted really good - I had to abstain because of my doctor's orders to stay away from sweets. But my main order, a Mushroom Swiss Burger was really good! And the side of french fries was really commendable! Plus the price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.If you are in the area, you should give Kick 'N Mule a try..."

"The food is for sure 5 stars, but the service is not. This place takes forever even if you order ahead, which is frustrating. The employees are also a little rude.I really enjoy the fiesta bowl and the chicken Cesar salad. But everything is a little pricey for the amount of food you get. I would say it's better than bar quality food but I would skip it if you're super hungry or in a rush."
"Food is fantastic, friendly service and staff are always caring and attentive Nice atmosphere and lighting"
"Met some friends for lunch. A busy parking lot so took some time to find a spot. It was a hot day but wanted to sit outside. Only one area had shade so we found a place inside. One table we sat at had loud air conditioning so moved to another table. You can also sit at the bar. They have a good selection of beers. You can order food and drinks at the register. Staff were helpful with our questions. We ordered a couple of beers and sliders with onion rings. The onion rings were huge and cooked perfectly. The sliders were ok and a bit messy."
"We tried the Cornerstone Cafe & Bar (J Street) for lunch yesterday. This was our first experience eating there. It was lunch time but not busy ... maybe 8 other folks having lunch. My hunch is business picks up significantly in the evening. Nice, but low key, bar atmosphere. Service was very good. Our order consisted of their soup of the day and two salads. The soup was Beef Vegetable. A little short on beef but hardy and good ... house made. I also enjoyed my Shrimp Louie - Bed of fresh greens topped with bay shrimp, avocado, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumber slices and paprika. Generous amount of tasty shrimp. The other salad was Tuna. It too included a bed of fresh greens with hardboiled egg, tomato and cucumber slices and topped with homemade tuna salad.Very reasonable prices. This was a good experience"
"Friendly staff. Great food and huge beer selection. We went between lunch and dinner so not too busy. We will be back!"
"Really good food! amazing service. Seems like there's been a positive change to the business lately.Would recommend"
"I was excited to try the soup flight! I drove up from Stockton to meet up with my amiga. We both got the same soup flight which was carne en su jugo, chicken pozole and albondigas. We ordered surf and turf tacos as well. Overall the soups are tasty, but we were served at least ten if not 15 minutes apart and we ordered the same exact thing! My soups were all at different temperatures, with one of them tasting almost cold... it was VERY lukewarm. We did have some great pinwheels to enjoy during our wait but sheez! Then the taco.... well I could taste no surf with the turf. It was tasty but where they hid the shrimp... I couldn't tell. I should have taken a picture but believe me they can do better. Then we didn't ask for an itemized check. Please review your check! I had overheard another table telling someone about a $3 overcharge. I should have been nosier. What we found out was that they charged us $3 more for each soup flight than what is advertised on their menu. The waitress apologized and said they will change the menus "soon". She knew of the error but didn't bring an itemized check and didn't say anything until after my friend paid. I know it was just $6 but ... if you know it's an issue (that was what the other table was warning the others about I bet) then why wasn't anything said? The wait, the cold soup and the upcharge took a star off. The flavors were great and could have been better. That taco would have tasted great if it had visible shrimp. Maybe next time."

The Spot Restaurant is the place to eat for late night Lao food and soup or Southeast Asian craving. I've been coming here for years and they've been consistently good. Waiters are friendly and easy to get a hold of. The food comes out 5-10 minutes later. The location is at the back of several other buildings but not to worry, it's safe enough to park and my group and I never had a problem.Everything I've ever ordered at The Spot has tasted authentic and as expected. The prices are average with the market and the quantity is reasonable. They have music typically playing but it's low enough to hear each other. At the time of this review, we ordered the following:Beef Pho with veggiesShrimp RollAngel WingsSticky Rice

Pretty much everything you would expect out of a beer forward restaurant. Theres an extensive list to choose from for drinks and food. The inside was very clean and nicely decorated with greenery and some Knick knacks. Great for large groups and families. The food menu has a lot of bar bite classics along with other less expected items (like the shrimp trio and lettuce wraps). Everyone at our table was satisfied with what they ordered. I had the beef sliders and garlic fries. The secret sauce on the sliders was amazing. The garlic fries were well seasoned and delicious. Their ranch is very dill heavy which I enjoyed.

Maybe you have a new cook, but the flavors were just a little bland. You could use a whole lot more seasoning in the food and maybe a different salsa that has a kick to it tasted really like tomato sauce. Our waiter is always good as usual just maybe add a little bit more seasoning to everything.

For a Friday early night, we were able to have a table inside. Tried cheeseburger, wings, chili the kid dog, downtown dog, corndog, and cheeseburger sliders for the kids meal. When they say spicy for the wings, it is spicy! Wings on the super oily side for me. I like how my dog was. Fries stayed crunchy. There were background music and lots of tv yet, I can say it was not noisy at all. Probability of going back is high.

Beer was great. Food was on point. I went out with a friend late night when a band was playing. I appreciate the live music but had to talk over it when conversing with my friend.

"UoB is a great spot, especially for Happy Hour. The apps are buy one get one free. Truly yummy food and great beer and cocktails."
"I Door Dashed lunch today from Mandango's Sports Bar & Grill. First time I have tried this establishment. My order was simple - Chicken Wings. I opted for 12 wings, unseasoned. It came with celery and carrot along with ranch dressing. The wings were large but just OK, not the best I have ever had. Maybe I should have tried one of the several seasonings they offered.Prices were reasonable."
"Took my mom with her walker here. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The food was great. The bar is prominent but the atmosphere is still bright and upbeat. The food was very good. I'd go back, and I'd even bring Mom again."
"I'm not typically big on ramen, but this place was a nice surprise! I stopped by after grocery shopping and had a great experience. The woman that helped me was so nice and had such great customer service. She really honestly went above and beyond. She made multiple recommendations with details and was nice enough to bring me everything, including filling my drink, since I had my hands full with my daughter. Aside from the great customer service, I found the ramen to be so good! I got the tonkotsu and it was perfect. Other places I've tried were either too salty or way too rich for my liking, but not here. The soft boiled egg was my favorite. I also ordered gyoza, which was good also. I takoyaki was also flavorful and nicely cooked. The portion sizes for everything were fairly large in my opinion. Overall I enjoyed this place and will definitely come back to try other flavors of the ramen!"
"The ambiance is amazing and the bartenders are fantastic friendly and heavy handed! One in general I'd love to point out is Christie she is just so fantastic I can't even begin to describe you have to go see yourself! Get some fries with some beer and relax and meet some new people or not that works too but you won't be disappointed at all guaranteed see you there!! ;)"
"Small dive bar in Roseville. Have been there a few times for drinks. they have small kitchen for munchies to go along with drinks. Tots and pretzel bites, that's all you need to soak up the alcohol! Haha. Recommend it if your in the area, plenty of room and drinks are reasonable!"
"They were new on the delivery app - so decided to give it a try. Burgers were overcooked. Onion rings didn't seem freshly made. Wings were not crispy enough.A good location for larger groups to hang out & enjoy a game."
"I had read a few reviews before I decided to check this place out for the first time since I wasn't sure if I wanted to stop in, but let me tell you ~ **NEVER judge a book by its cover ** Now that I've been to this spot a few times let me just say...If you haven't already read about it in their other reviews, even I can vouch for the fact that the food REALLY is as good as they say! I've tried a few different things on the menu now and I'm always impressed! There are two separate rooms/bar areas. Each has something different going on depending on the day & what you're in the mood for but no matter what day it is, every person who works there is always respectful & friendly. My girlfriends and I go for karaoke on Wednesdays because you won't find a better DJ/KJ anywhere either, especially if you love singin' some R&B! Then Sundays they usually have comedy and the line up is pretty cool, too!! Don't be shy... check it out the next time you're in the area.Already looking forward to going again!"
"Thank you Cruise for recommending the Stallion Pilsners . Delicious!! Also you were welcoming . The service and food was excellent!!!! Clean and great atmosphere. I had the grilled chicken with garlic parmesean fries So good. Great local hang out"
"poppy's Bar &Q is classic bbq in Folsom, CA, its the real deal! live music, non alcoholic beers and succulent BBQ meats! a bit pricey but very tasty."
"Service was the best. The accommodated our large party at the last minute. Also, happy hour is amazing!!!"
"Great service great food. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but that just lets you know the food and the staff are great. Each time I've been I always make friends with other customers because the ambiance is also great. Positive vibes and the drinks kick in quick"
