"Enjoyed a bowl of a 10piece beef dumpling soup. I opted for self service ordering since the gent at the register was taking a call in order. Service was quick and I was already sipping on soup and snapping these photos in a couple of minutes. Even on a warm day, I enjoyed having the soup. Requested chopsticks but soup spoon, fork, and napkins come when the tray is served. Would have loved to have tried some garlic chili oil but could not tell if any were any available, as there were no condiments on the tables. Fair pricing, the wrapper was a little thicker than I'm used to, and the meats were all uniform in taste, size, and texture. The soup was flavorful and beautifully garnished with tasty green and white onions. Very good soup, I almost finished it all. If you like noodles, you can order some on the side, but to me, the dumpling wrapper was all the extra noodle I would want. Was able to finish the bowl, but could have easily saved half for later. Looks like they would have lids and baggies readily available for to go. Satisfying, good taste, fast, would definitely go again. Not many places still open in this part of downtown, so the good ratings here are well deserved."
"The venue is small, tight and straight forward. Service was nice and attentive which was the best part of this experience. Unfortunately, the fried rice was bland and not Thai hot which was not what I was expecting. Parking is limited as well."

"Experienced this place as a need to eat location at the mall; deviating from the normal stuff. It was a treat to find a place that had some original and very fresh food that fed the senses and the taste buds weren't left out by no means. The udon and tempura combo I ordered was flavorful, a ton of food, tempura everything was amazing. And for $12? A steal for what you got!My only issue - speed of preparation. Not sure if this was typical or if standard preparation time, but it seemed a bit long for not too many orders ahead of me. I'll check them out again soon and see if the experience is the same. All the same... for a "mall spot," impressive!!!"
"The roast beef on 6/19 I got was delicious thanks girls! Your service was awesome and generous character will take you far."
"Our go to Chinese restaurant either dine in or DoorDash. Beef Broccoli, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Almond Chicken, Sweet and Sour pork, etc. etc. Everything is delicious !!!"
"Ordered some take out and it was amazing. The restaurant is nice if you decide to sit and enjoy but I was entertaining guests and this time for we got delivery. We ordered the Family Dinner Option B and added a Pork Fried Rice. The food is always delicious and plentiful. I will definitely be working my way through the other dinner options but the ones we had were on point. The Mongolian Beef was especially tasty, the Mandarin Chicken was sweet and had just a perfect hint of spice, the chicken chow mien was decent and fresh. The soup was really good. Perfect for then cold rainy day we ordered it."
"New England Clam Chowder 7 days a week is a nice choice, they even have the sourdough bread bowl option of course! They do have other daily soups too if the chowder's not your thing. Located in between the Golden 1 Credit Union and the Five Guys in the same parking lot where the Taco Bell and In-N-Out are as well. We've ordered lunch from here (catered for the whole site) and regular pick-up/to-go orders for the smaller team/group.You might think they only do sourdough bread, but you can also choose honey wheat, marble rye, or gluten-free wrap. Not sure how they exactly translate to the equivalent 4", 6" or 8" sandwiches when it comes to the sliced rye bread though. For catering we do variety sandwich platters (choose from ham, turkey, roast beef, cracked pepper turkey, garlic pesto turkey, or veggie), gourmet salads (Grilled Chicken Caesar, Southwest Chicken, Cobb, Greek, or Italian), sometimes soups (clam chowder daily, chicken & poblano pepper, creamy tomato, cream of potato, fire-roasted vegetable, chili, broccoli & cheese on rotation). Each platter has 12 servings and soups come in 8oz cups. You can also do chips, or assorted cookies too.I haven't tried any of their specialty sandwiches such as the French Dip, Smoked Brisket, or Caprese. I do typically go for the #2 Roast Beef, #6 Pastrami, #7 Pastrami Reuben, or #14 Italian. I hear the Garlic Pesto Turkey is also good. You can also Make it a Meal by adding chips, soup of the day, salad, chili, or mac & cheese which also includes a 21oz fountain drink. Haven't had bad service here; for instance, yesterday's pickup order for 5 people was placed around 12:20PM and ready in 30 minutes. Hot sandwiches and soups were still warm and nothing incorrect/missing. Overall a good convenient lunch option for this side of West Sac."
"I love this place. Their French Dip is amazing and so are their breakfast Reubens. The breakfast Reuben is smaller and hits the spot. Won't make you feel stuffed. The workers are very friendly and the service was excellent. Clean store and clean bathroom."
"Okay, this is one of the best chicken pho I've had in a minute. I love the fish sauce they had on the side. They need to brand their mix it was so good! The soup was a really clean and tasty broth. Did not taste like there was a ton of msg. And you can tell they used home range chicken for their meat. It was lean and had a nice texture to it. Also their vietnamese coffee is not there to play. It was so strong and immediately perked me up. It is a sit down style and the waiters were really attentive. I'm not gonna lie I came for lunch and might of gotten take out for dinner! Such an awesome addition to the pho scene in the Sac area"
"The food we had was very yummy!Bf ordered a large Pho Bo Vien, friend ordered the vermicelli beef, and I got the large Bun Rieu. Huge portions! We were served water in a small plastic cup and also ordered hot tea. Our server was attentive and checked on us, made sure everything was ok. We dinned in evening, an hour before closing so we were seated pretty quickly. I was unable to try their milk teas cause it was close to closing time lol. Prices were reasonable! The ambiance was dim and the place had a nice Asian casual vibe. Parking wise, you won't have any trouble finding a spot. However, it is south Sacramento so close parking can get limited."
"January 14, 2025: I ordered Seafood Chow Mein, Duck Pho, and hot tea. The Seafood Chow Mein totally rocked--it was so hot, the seafood was tender, and fresh while Duck Pho's broth warmed my cold--the duck was so tender and juicy, the Pho jettisoned me into the ionosphere! Yup~I must scream at the top of my lungs while standing on an apple box proclaiming, "THE ENTIRE ORDER WAS THAT DELICIOUS, INDEED!!!!"Anyway . . . Like Ahnold Scwharzenegger promises, "Ahll beeee baaaaack!""
"One star over all, plus one extra star bc the service was genuine and sweet when we were there.Madi's is a travesty, a tragedy of a Mexican spot that has taken over the delicious US style taco shop Lefty's Taco House. Lefty's proved that it didn't need to be authentic to be good tacos. Madi's, on the other hand, is Mexican food by ppl who don't care about creating authentic nor homage to Mexican recipes...nor quality or flavor. If Guy Fieri came here, he would permaban them from setting foot in Flavortown, bc this place has eliminated flavor from the menu.In a county where the majority of the Mexican food offerings are dire, this is the absolute worst. I made the massive error in judgment by ordering Carnitas, which arrived, topping my salad so fatty, wet, and grotesque a lump, I couldn't force myself to finish my meal. I don't do carbs, so I had my salad with meat, cheese, lettuce, and some Pico only. It was bland, tasted of cheap fatty meat and cooking oil, but little else. There were no crispy ends, no crackling bits as the best carnitas provides. The slop I was served has no right to call itself carnitas. My wife's taco salad, on the other hand, was 99% refried beans. She found it way off, loaded up with rice and refried beans, which, it's a salad...does anyone want that in their salad? The taco salad here is basically a burrito without a wrapper. My son's burrito was like a heavy sand filled gym sock. It may have been big, which could help justify the price, but it's all filler: rice, beans, barely any meat. But the meats used here are low quality, greasy, fatty, and as I already mentioned, a wet mass, so maybe it's no great loss to have them skimp. In the event they read this, carnitas can not just be thrown in a slow cooker and left there. Once you've braised the meat slow and low for hours until you shred it, you remove, drain, and then pan fry in hot oil in an iron skillet, or even a griddle would work. Skipping the final step is inexcusable unless your goal is to serve a lump of wet meat. It's been sad to see nothing able to last in this location, and I welcome a local crew. This place is expensive and the food is awful. There's no reason it should last, sadly."

If you're a dumpling lover, Hal Bao Dumpling on K Street in Sacramento might just hit the spot, though it's a mixed experience overall.Let's start with the food. We kicked things off with the spring rolls, and wow--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. The House Chow Mein was equally impressive, a nice balance of savory goodness that kept us coming back for more. But the dumplings? Well, they were a bit underwhelming. They lacked the depth of flavor you'd hope for, more like a meatball wrapped in wet dough than the juicy, flavorful dumpling experience I was hoping for. Thankfully, the house and sesame sauces helped elevate the flavor, adding some much-needed zest to each bite. Now, for the ambiance--let's just say it's a no-frills setup. The restaurant could definitely use some visual upgrades, and food arrives on a cafeteria tray with paper plates. Not exactly a five-star dining experience, but if you're in the mood for dumplings and happen to be in the area, this spot can certainly scratch that itch.Hal Bao Dumpling is a good, casual choice for when you're craving dumplings--just don't expect much more than that!

My boyfriend and I decided to try a new Thai spot because we always frequent the same ones. I'm so happy we did because we found this gem! Noodles to Thai For is right across the street from Cafe Dantorels. We got a Thai tea, Tom Yum Pork Noodle Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Yellow Curry. Everything was so freaking good, my favorite was the pineapple fried rice! Everything was so good, I'm so excited to come back and try more things on their menu. I was too full to get pineapple sticky rice but next time for sure!!

I honestly never tried a Korean corn dog before this place and I can say on the first try they messed up my order which was fairly simple so that was a bummer instead of giving me half beef and mozzarella they gave all mozzarella and one regular beef though the first one was supposed to be half and half so the worker had to ask the boss what to do when it's very simple take the one back that you guys messed up on and make it right since I did pay money for what I specifically wanted. Lastly what really made me cringe is they don't give free refills you have to pay 75 cents per fill which is a bit ridiculous for all the money you spend here I should get at least a second refill free to top that off they also don't give out water cups talk about hospitality. I would recommend this place if you're truly interested in trying Korean corn dogs otherwise make them yourself.

I needed a quick lunch and Sourdough did not disappoint! I ordered online and the process was a bit confusing, wish their website was more user friendly. But, my order was completed correctly and in a timely fashion. I had their large chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious! The romaine was still fresh and country, chicken pieces were great size and plentiful. My favorite part were the croutons, obvi. My only complaint is, there was too much parmesan. For $10.99, the salad is a great portion. I was so full after three-quarters of the way and the salad was very satisfying. I'll easily order again and I love that it's just down the street from my office!

It's been a minute since I last ate here, and it's pretty much what I remember. The place falls under the category of reliable, cozy, family-owned hole in the wall. I phoned in my order, which all went smoothly. The food was ready within 15 minutes. Portions are generous - I have at least 3 meals worth of food here. The food itself is pretty good (not exceptional).

Great service. I was AT&T on my lunch and wanted to grab something quick but not fast food like McDonald's or taco bell. AT&T employee Tony recommended me West Coast Sourdough. Omg yum. I got the turkey pesto sandwich. Thanks for the quick service and friendly workers. I love how clean the sandwich shop was.

We were shopping at the Galleria Mall, and found ourselves working up an appetite. Joe K and I always love sourdough sandwich franchises and most likely than not, the food never fails in flavor and satisfaction. I love that this place offers a large selection of choices on the menu that would satisfy most tastes and appetites, so making a decision can be a challenge. We finally narrowed things down! We both ordered a meal deal that included a sandwich, a side of chips and drink. I got a 4" Tuna Salad with avocado, while my BF got a 4" Cranberry Turkey. The soda dispenser has so many flavors to choose from! I chose a root beer and Joe got an orange drink. Our food was fresh and tasty! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere, relaxed and casual as we enjoyed our meals. Returning here won't be a hard decision to make at all!

"Good fresh tasting sourdough breadThis is a casual sandwich spot offering fresh tasting bread... I love their sandwiches. They have two locations in Roseville in which this newer store is also located at a Nugget Shopping Center, this one on Blue Oaks. The inside is smaller than the original store on Pleasant Grove since the location isn't in a commercial area rather close to a residential community. This was my first visit at this location. I had a coupon for a BOGO deal and ordered my favorite, the Garlic Pesto Turkey (#14) and got the largest 8" size. The hubby and I split the sammie. The ingredients were fresh and the thinly sliced turkey breast are of good quality with flavorful pesto garlic aioli spread. The second sandwich was the Chicken Salad (#12). My daughter loves this and she will have no other. LoL! I don't blame her... can't go wrong with quality chicken breast, celery, cranberries, & pecans... oh, and she wanted a slice of cheese with it too.The employees seemed to be in training so it took a bit of a wait for the sandwiches but it's okay. This location is closer to my home so I will be visiting quite often. Lots of parking in a private parking lot.Review #2917"
"This place hit the spot! The broth was solid and we even ordered the fries and they are a hit too. We came in with 25 people leaving Tahoe on Sunday morning, we were all able to get seated the waitresses were so nice to us and we got all our food promptly . It was exactly what we needed. Our coffee drinks came a little late and they said it was on the house since it took extra time. It was such a nice gesture that we weren't expecting since we were such a large group. Overall great food, amazing service and were super accommodating !!"
"Best pastrami sandwich. The best BBQ plates. Jerk chicken has the perfect spices. The owner is super friendly. Highly recommended."
"Great customer service, and the soup is always delicious. However, parking at this location is terrible."
"We have new house soup call " Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang" this soup can eat dried and soup on the side"
"The staff here is authentically friendly. The sandwiches are so good! I've been here many times and they always make neat and accurate sandwiches. Easy online ordering and accurate pickup times. Plenty of seating inside and outside."
"Always a good choice for when craving a sub! I'm never disappointed. I come almost every week."
"Party of 6 on a Monday night, put our name down on the waitlist before 7PM. Haven't been here in a minute but they are open later than the midtown location, with pretty much the same menu and better parking situation if you're willing to drive a little further south of Sacramento. I was so engaged in this group dinner that I neglected to snap any food photos at all, can you believe it? We did get the siumai, hargow, wontons with chili oil, chow fun beef with gravy, peking spare ribs, and green beans. Everything was tasty and easily shareable. Did not overdo it this time with ordering, usually there is enough for leftover to take home. We actually had room left for dessert and migrated over to Handel's across the parking lot."
"My wife and I decided to try this place out for our "Christmas" dinner, really it was the Sunday before Christmas, as she had to work Christmas day. We were dressed to the nines having come from a party and had reservations and walking through the casino I was treated like I worked there, was kinda cool.We were greeted promptly at the steakhouse by the hostess upon entering and decided to wait a bit in the lounge with some cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned which was perfectly made. We were then escorted to our table by the very friendly waiter.Bread was brought out and was delicious. I ordered an old vine zin and we ordered appetizers. I got the bone marrow and my wife had the baby iceberg salad. The salad was big enough to share, served with a blue cheese dressing, bacon and pickled onions it was very good. The bone marrow was small but spectacular. Served with some toasted bread, I was in umami heaven. For mains we ordered the 30oz bone-in dry-aged ribeye, medium rare. It was perfectly cooked and came with a bit of marrow which melted on the plate and made every bite amazing. For sides we ordered brussel sprouts and cream spinach. Both were excellent accompaniment for the steak. For dessert we chose the tiramisu which was large enough to share, and well priced for what we got.Our bill was what was expected for a high-end steak house. About the same as Flemings in San Jose, but less than a Ruth's Chris. We really enjoyed the meal and stopped next door at the Humidor for after dinner drinks and cigars. All-in-all an amazing night and a great time at Prime Steakhouse."
"Love that this sourdough & co is under new management. See great improvements already throughout the shop. Great and fast service, yummy food and clean environment. Excited to continue coming back!"
"I have been here 3 times in the past week. I love having a sandwich place so close to home and this one hits the spot every time. Can't wait for their Peets Coffee stand to open. The sandwiches are fresh and the bread is delicious."
"Such a great restaurant! The owners are very attentive to your needs and always willing to help you in any way they can. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Salt and Pepper Pork Chop which both were very delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice family restaurant in the area."
"I can't believe my 100th review is for a Door Dash order! My wife works from home and takes her lunch break at 10:30 AM, so I thought I'd surprise her with some delicious Vietnamese Pho. Most places don't open until 11:00, but I found Pho Hot in Rocklin, which opens at 10:00 AM.Right at 10:00 AM, I ordered the Hủ Tiếu Mì Hải Sản (Rice or Egg Noodle with Seafood). Amazingly, it arrived at 10:29 AM--just 30 minutes from order to door!I quickly grabbed two bowls and put together the Pho for both of us. The portions were generous and filled with fresh ingredients: a container of broth, bok choy, shrimp, squid, one scallop, jalapenos, bean sprouts, cilantro, and a packet of Sriracha and hoisin sauce (with a side of onion seasoning). The Pho was really good, though we could have done without the squid--neither of us really liked it. But everything else was very flavorful. We usually have some type of Asian Vietnamese soup--also known as Pho--once a week, but with this kind of service and efficiency from Pho Hot and Door Dash, we'll definitely be ordering again soon. If you're looking for something quick and tasty, I highly recommend Pho Hot!"
"Thanks to my fellow Yelp Elites for posting a picture of the salt and pepper fried fish. I couldn't get it off my mind for a week. Since I didn't feel like cooking today, I stop at Sunrise Chinese Restaurant to get my fix! It's a take out only restaurant with chairs to sit while you wait for your order. There were a few people in front of me, and it took about 15-20 minutes. I noticed several people came in to pick-up their phone orders. I'll keep that in mind the next time if I'm in a rush. Salt and Pepper Fried FishA tad bit more dough than I like but very good. It wasn't overly salty, super crispy and holy - the portion is huge for $16.95. They also do S&P fried chicken and shrimp. House Chow MeinChow Mein with cabbage, beef, chicken and shrimp. Nothing worth raving about but good. General Tso's ChickenIt's similar to orange chicken without the tangy/citrus flavor. Again, big portion and savory sauce. I ate it with Trader Joe's frozen brown rice and it hit the spot! It reminded me the days I used to work at an office in Brooklyn. We used to order Chinese food every Friday as a group and I always get General Tso's Chicken lunch special. Solid Chinese food take-out spot. Bring cash if you can, because they charge a small fee for credit card."
"Panera is always a solid option for lunch! This particular location is a bit small and the parking lot is very crowded, but otherwise I'm always impressed by the service here. They always seem to go above and beyond! I had a coupon for half off entree so I decided to get a You Pick Two lunch and try out some new items. The cheesesteak sandwich was saucy, and I liked that I was able to switch the type of bread for no charge. I also tried their new bacon mac & cheese. It was just as good as the regular one. I always find it funny that you get a baguette on the side even when there's no soup, but I'm not complaining. The Pick Two option is always my favorite because I get to try two items and it's not a super huge portion. Had to pair it with my favorite drink here - the papaya green tea. So yummy!"
"Nice dining experience in a not-as-nice area. Met some close friends here for lunch, since it was a nice in-between location. The reviews here on Yelp were decent and if they weren't it had to do with DoorDash and not specifically Thai Orchid. The gentleman handling all the things was very nice and efficient. We had the place (at open) to ourselves and eventually other patrons who had a hankering for Thai food, that rainy morning, wandered in also. My friends had their two small kids (newborn and a 10 month old) along and it worked out fine space wise. I had the spicy cashew chicken and a side of steamed rice. My friends ordered the Drunken Noodle dish with chicken and the coconut soup. No complains from anyone. Would definitely eat here again!"
"The sandwiches are always good at sourdough, of course. However, the service at iron point is a cut above any of the others I've been to.The guys brought our sandwiches to the table and then asked how we were enjoying them after we were eating. They clearly make effort to overdeliver !"
"I had a ham sandwich with swiss on sourdough. You don't get a lot of ingredients, 2 triangles of Swiss, small amount of ham, little bit of lettuce. I had the 4 inch but my bread was probably 5 inches so that was nice. Service was quick, person working was nice."
"One of mines favorite place to go to get soup and fresh bread on my sandwich. Love the sandwiches as well as the salads. Great place"
"We're stopping by today, lived around this neighborhood for 5 years but never visited them, in fact we thought it just opened last year, once we asked the staff, he said it's been here for 4 years!!! Wow the foods were good, pho raw beefsteak and pho chicken were delicious. We also enjoyed an egg roll , the service was great. Absolutely we will go back for more."
"My family wanted fast food near the area . I'm trying to eat better during the week . I like having a healthier option near us . Walking in this establishment is very clean and organized. I got greeted by Jett he was super friendly and very knowledgeable . He asked if I had been there before which I have but only for pick up . He explained how the ordering works and the options I have. I have to say the customer service I received today was above and beyond! For my food I ordered Half Cranberry 'N Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich & Half Avocado Cobb Salad it came with a bag of chips and a pickle . The food was very delicious. The portions are very generous . My tummy was very happy ! They had 16 salad dressings to choose from WOW..That is a lot !. They offer Wraps, Signature Sandwiches, Warm Grain Bowls, Soups, Panini Melts, Kids Works ,(kids meals) and Sides & Desserts. They have an option to build your own or you can pick from the menu . They also have a pick two which is what I got . Which is you can pick half and half of anything instead of committing to one thing. For drinks they have a nice fountain drink station offering Tractor Certificate Organic products . All the sodas are from that brand your typical soda flavors . But they also offer Black Tea , Hibiscus, Strawberry Dragon Fruit, and Farmers Punch all from the same Tractor brand pretty fancy drinks lol . I wanted to also mention the to go plates they have are very durable they feel like a real plate . I like attention to detail and that was a nice touch . Overall I will definitely be coming back . My food was delicious ! The service was amazing . It's nice to have a this place near by . I highly recommend.."
"Such a great experience at The Market on Main! I found this amazing spot on instagram from following Flourless Patisserie. I am gluten and dairy free and was so happy to find a place that is so delicious and can accommodate both. The entire vibe of this place is great. Very aesthetically pleasing and lots to enjoy. Right away one of the owners, Anthony, greeted me and was so friendly. He showed me around the store and pointed out some GF goodies. I appreciate how him and his wife are running the business together. I ordered a GF flatbread (Flourless Patisserie crust) with dairy free cheese & pepperoni. It was sooo delicious! Plus a GF butternut squash pasta & tomato bisque to go. Even my husband was a fan and he's not GF. As I waited for my order I walked my Dalmatians around downtown Placerville and when I returned back they were greeted and welcomed by Anthony. I will definitely bring friends here and look forward to enjoying more food & their wines! The selections looked incredible."
"Looks and feels like a traditional diner. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. They clearly had some regular customers because the staff was on a first name basis with some folks. Which gave it a homey feel :)I had the spinach mushroom Swiss omelette and My husband had the chicken and waffle which were both delicious! The pancake balls were hot and fluffy yet dense in the center. Delicious! The price point is about on par with other diners. Good food, good service. We will definitely be back to try their dinner options."
