The Seafood Chow Mein totally rocked--it was so hot, the seafood was tender, and fresh while Duck Pho's broth warmed my cold--the duck was so tender and juicy, the Pho jettisoned me into the ionosphere! Yup~I must scream at the top of my lungs while standing on an apple box proclaiming, "THE ENTIRE ORDER WAS THAT DELICIOUS, INDEED!!!!"Anyway . . . "The hostess sat us really fast. The restaurant was very well decorated. The floors were really slippery. The waitress we had, was a little rude. As soon as we sat down, she asked what we wanted. She didn't give us any time to even look at the menu. We politely asked her to come back. She never greeted us or even smiled. We saw her do this to a number of tables. The receipt said her name was Kim. We ordered Pho and Spring rolls. The food was great. My friend ordered food to-go, we had to wait an additional 35-40 minutes for that and our check. We asked the waitress for our check and asked if the to-go order was ready. We saw her grab it and noticed it was just sitting on the counter. I would've gave this place more stars, but the waitress was horrible."

As soon as we walked in we were seated and waited on less than 5 minutes are amazing server name Skyler was excellent he had great public relations very professional and so sweet and kind! He started us off with drinks which I had an amazing green apple sangria delicious! He then served us our appetizers which was an excellent salad artichoke and spinach dip and I believe homemade chips!! Then served my entree which I had breast chicken with cherry tomatoes smothered on top and steamed broccoli delicioso! He was extremely kind enough to bring me an amazing pumpkin cheesecake and had the staff sing me Happy Birthday and that made my evening even more awesome! So if anyone out there is looking for a great place to go with friends and family this is the place to come excellent service Great public relations from all the employees especially Skyler!!!"

We came in with 25 people leaving Tahoe on Sunday morning, we were all able to get seated the waitresses were so nice to us and we got all our food promptly . It was exactly what we needed. Our coffee drinks came a little late and they said it was on the house since it took extra time. It was such a nice gesture that we weren't expecting since we were such a large group. "I can't believe my 100th review is for a Door Dash order! My wife works from home and takes her lunch break at 10:30 AM, so I thought I'd surprise her with some delicious Vietnamese Pho. Most places don't open until 11:00, but I found Pho Hot in Rocklin, which opens at 10:00 AM.Right at 10:00 AM, I ordered the Hủ Tiếu Mì Hải Sản (Rice or Egg Noodle with Seafood). Amazingly, it arrived at 10:29 AM--just 30 minutes from order to door!I quickly grabbed two bowls and put together the Pho for both of us. The portions were generous and filled with fresh ingredients: a container of broth, bok choy, shrimp, squid, one scallop, jalapenos, bean sprouts, cilantro, and a packet of Sriracha and hoisin sauce (with a side of onion seasoning). The Pho was really good, though we could have done without the squid--neither of us really liked it. But everything else was very flavorful.We usually have some type of Asian Vietnamese soup--also known as Pho--once a week, but with this kind of service and efficiency from Pho Hot and Door Dash, we'll definitely be ordering again soon. If you're looking for something quick and tasty, I highly recommend Pho Hot!"

The reviews here on Yelp were decent and if they weren't it had to do with DoorDash and not specifically Thai Orchid. The gentleman handling all the things was very nice and efficient. We had the place (at open) to ourselves and eventually other patrons who had a hankering for Thai food, that rainy morning, wandered in also. My friends had their two small kids (newborn and a 10 month old) along and it worked out fine space wise. I had the spicy cashew chicken and a side of steamed rice. My friends ordered the Drunken Noodle dish with chicken and the coconut soup. No complains from anyone. Would definitely eat here again!"

"We went here over the weekend to celebrate my dad's bday! We had an outstanding experience. My family and I have come here in the past, and we just love the food and the vibe. Very suspicious so you don't feel cramped and how the food is served all prepared and cooked for you! I love this simple concept so much more than the AYCE hot pot places.. struggling to get food at the bar and having to cook it yourself! There is a reason why I want to eat out, because I don't want to cook for myself and my kiddos lol. The broth is so flavorful and they give you sooo much meats and toppings! I love how they will come around and asked if you need a refill of broth. My go to is the Taiwanese soup. My kids love the Japanese Miso Hot Soup, we order 2-3 sides of udons as well since they love udon noodles.The waiters are so kind and attentive for our large party and we left very satisfied! I highly recommend. We made reservations for a large party in advance which I highly recommend and they went beyond and set up a private room for us.Thank you Tasty Pot for an amazing experience, my dad devoured the big bowl. "Enjoyed a bowl of a 10piece beef dumpling soup. I opted for self service ordering since the gent at the register was taking a call in order. Service was quick and I was already sipping on soup and snapping these photos in a couple of minutes. Even on a warm day, I enjoyed having the soup. Requested chopsticks but soup spoon, fork, and napkins come when the tray is served. Would have loved to have tried some garlic chili oil but could not tell if any were any available, as there were no condiments on the tables. Fair pricing, the wrapper was a little thicker than I'm used to, and the meats were all uniform in taste, size, and texture. The soup was flavorful and beautifully garnished with tasty green and white onions. Very good soup, I almost finished it all. If you like noodles, you can order some on the side, but to me, the dumpling wrapper was all the extra noodle I would want. Was able to finish the bowl, but could have easily saved half for later. Looks like they would have lids and baggies readily available for to go. Satisfying, good taste, fast, would definitely go again. Not many places still open in this part of downtown, so the good ratings here are well deserved."

They always seem to go above and beyond! I had a coupon for half off entree so I decided to get a You Pick Two lunch and try out some new items. The cheesesteak sandwich was saucy, and I liked that I was able to switch the type of bread for no charge. I also tried their new bacon mac & cheese. It was just as good as the regular one. I always find it funny that you get a baguette on the side even when there's no soup, but I'm not complaining. The Pick Two option is always my favorite because I get to try two items and it's not a super huge portion. Had to pair it with my favorite drink here - the papaya green tea. So yummy!"

I was drawn back by the fact that they serve Peking pork-cho, a dish I've missed since Mayflower sadly burned down.Unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing. The Peking sauce had a strange flavor--I'm usually fine with a tang to the sweet sauce, but this one had an odd vinegar taste that just didn't sit right. Additionally, the chops lacked the crispy texture I was hoping for; perhaps they were too breaded before frying fried, but not in the best way.I also ordered the chicken with black bean sauce. When I got home, I enhanced it with some thick glass noodles, and the dish turned out decent. However, I did experience an almost immediate headache and puffiness, likely due to the high salt and MSG content.On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, and I've attached the most recent menu photos, as the ones in other reviews seemed outdated. The staff are very nice and friendly, and it's good to see that the dining room is now running at capacity."

They have ruben, hot pastrami, French dip, and garlic pesto. I have had them all. To hard to choose a favorite, all so good. They also have cold sandwiches, soups, salads, cookies and chips. The clam chowder is tasty. So tasty that my LI self is willing to take a lactaid pill to enjoy the clam chowder. The Greek salad is my favorite salad there. Mmm... loaded with fresh ingredients and served with a delicious dressing. The sandwiches come in three sizes. The 4 inch is around $6.29. Not a bad price for what you get. The sandwiches come with free spreads, fixings, and a slice of cheese. They have indoor dining which is kept very clean. The decor is modern. Ambiance is pleasant. The bread was decent; crusty on the outside, soft and spongy on the inside, but didn't have much of a tang. Still prefer the sourdough bread from Boudin. The cookies here are the soft-baked cookie type, like eating a muffin but in cookie form. The chocolate chip one tasted like what you'd expect and the lemon white chip one tasted like a lemon pound cake (didn't taste much of the white chocolate). The cookies were a bit too sweet for my liking overall.Eh, I'd say that it's not a bad place if you're in the area and are specifically craving for the kinds of food offered here."
