"I had an excellent experience with both my eyeliner, and my lips. Apparently I'm very sensitive, my skin gets very swollen and sore, my eyes watered a ton but she definitely did her thing as best she could! My eyeliner is the favorite outcome between the lips and eyes, as I think I might have to go back again for a touchup on my lips as the color didn't quite turn out as hoped. They do a pretty good job at numbing you, although I caught wind that for very sensitive clients they can actually have a professional come in and inject you with lidocaine. If I had it to do again I probably would've paid the extra money and gotten the lidocaine injection, but hindsight is 20/20- am I right? I love that she tattoos the waterline of your eye, so that it blends in seamlessly. Always remember that the colors for lips end up potentially lighter on your lips after it heals, so I don't think you can go wrong with going a little bit darker than you want. the color seemed to have taken a bit more on my upper lip than lower, so I will be reaching out for an appointment to do a touch up pretty soon. Highly recommended, she's a pro and knows what she's doing! Hurry up and make your appointment because they are literally booked out six months or longer in advance!"

"Let me start off by saying, I always really look forward to my fill sessions with Kristin...not just because my lashes always look amazing afterwards, but also because it's so fun to chat with her! I explained the shape, length & curl that I prefer during my first appointment and she's consistently given me exactly what I want without me needing to remind her. The volume lashes she uses are really good quality & super light. I have wimpy sparse Asian lashes & she's able to transform them to really make my eyes pop (none of that droopy sleepy look). LOCATION: She has a room located in Allure Salon. It's comfy, clean, and quiet with a table, pillow & sheet. Kristin also does facials, so she has that equipment available in the room too. BOOKING APPOINTMENTS: Super easy! You can call Allure & the receptionist has access to Kristin's schedule, which makes it really easy to book or change an appointment. This is a nice option especially since lash artists are often with clients, so they aren't able to answer calls or text back until the end of the work day. Sometimes I also just text Kristin & she's able to fit me in when my schedule changes and I can't make it to my original appointment. Bonus: you get a reminder text a couple days prior, just in case you forget! PARKING: There's a parking lot next door to Allure & metered spots out frontPAYMENT: Cash, check, or Venmo I know it can be easy to judge a business solely on the number of reviews, but if you're on the fence about booking with Kristin please don't hesitate. "I moved back to Sacramento over a year ago and have been trying to find that perfect salon for me. Once I found the best stylist, I'm loyal. I am very low maintenance when it comes to my hair so I just wanted someone that listen to what I wanted and can recommend me on different devices that will make my hair healthy. Other places I have been interested in going to were hard to reach or not as much availability. So... finding a salon where their booking is super easy and there are plenty of stylists available within the week was extremely important to me since I never really know what my schedule looks like until a few days before I decide to book. This salon makes it super easy to do so. Luckily I also moved into the area a few months ago so Vault was one of the few choices that caught my eye. I originally booked with Meghan (level 2 stylist) and I was looking forward to an appt with her. She called me around 2:30p asking if she could reschedule my 4p to 7p which was fine with me. I just wanted me haircut to be fresh for my new drivers license lol I went to my appt and was greeted by Hannah (Level 1 stylist) who informed me that Meghan was not feeling well and went home. She ended up cutting my hair and recommending a moisture hair mask which she treated me with. Hannah is amazing and super sweet. I'm normally an introverted awkward person but she made me comfortable and I was gabbing away and laughing with her. I was thinking I was going to be there for an hour but it went by pretty fast. I don't think you can go wrong with any stylist here. I will be back here again for a trim with Hannah. Thank you for the best self care day I needed badly. My hair feels amazing. Will be back to buy some of the hair products that works wonders."

She even has colored glitter extensions that we've played around with in the past.I've also had Tiffany wax my eyebrows. She does an amazing job of being conservative. This is actually my second time coming here and the first time I was very impressed with my eye brows and it was also my first time trying the henna eye brows. The ladies did not disappoint me at all! I loved how they did my eye brows and they introduced me to henna tinting because my eyebrows are so light. I am so glad they did! It lasted me a good 3.5 weeks! I loved waking up to full eye brows and not having to darken them every morning. This has become my new brow home permanently now. My second visit Bala herself was able to do my eyebrows and henna ! She did such an amazing job and I was asking her to teach me about the henna as well so maybe in the future I can try myself. Ashley has her own private room in the back that is cutely decorated and feels like her own little salon where you can get away from the noise of the rest of the place! They have lots of products you can buy on your way out, but they definitely showcase Davines products! They even have a cute little pop up boutique in the middle of the salon from one of their stylist called Waylon+Willie Boutique in case you're in the mood to shop before or after your appointment. I have bought a thing or two from them!I highly recommend this salon and making an appointment with Ashley Vandermast! You won't be disappointed!"

"CeeJae - Lash Super Hero!!!!! This fabulous woman literally saved my lashes and eyeballs. I tried a new salon (not The Face Boutique) and they botched my eyelash extension job. It was my first time back to getting eyelash extensions after a 8-9 month break so I was excited to have them again. I left that salon in tears because it hurt AND they were terrible looking. I have an event the next day and there was no way I was going to show up with these extensions. I called 3 other salons before TFB and no one could take me, which I get. But I called TFB and not only was the person who answered prompt and friendly, they were able to get me in that evening for a Lash Removal. Normally lash removals take 30 mins but the botch job from the other salon took TWO hours. CeeJae worked her magic (and patience) and got it all removed. She was so friendly and sympathetic through the whole process. Honestly- she is so great. And once I recover from this crazy lash adventure I am booking my lash lift and tint with her! While it is a smaller store, the staff is very friendly and they had some great black friday sales!They sell an amazing cologne for men here called "Eau De Baux", and its one of my all time favorites. Its made out of vanilla, amber, incense and tobacco. Its one of the most sensual and warm fragrances I wear.L'Occitane also has great skin care from their Immortelle line, as well as their shampoo (It has such a cult following, it always sells out!)For the price point, L'Occitane has great products that are on par or even better than some of the high end skin care lines you would find at Nordstrom or Bloomingdales."
