"Mendocino Farms never disappoints! The restaurant is clean and bright, with plenty of seating, making it a pleasant place to dine. Parking can be a bit tricky, but I've been lucky to snag a spot right in front each time. Just a heads-up: make sure to pay for parking on the machine or on the Park Mobile app, as the parking patrol here does not mess around, and will be quick to issue a ticket for anyone's expired meter! The staff here are always friendly and helpful. The employee at the register provided great recommendations and even gave us a heads-up for the last call as we were dining close to closing time. I tried the Thai Mango Salad, and it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, though I would have loved a bit more mango and noodles. I'm not mad at it though, as the salad was filling, and I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. My friend enjoyed the Impossible Taco Salad, her first time trying plant-based chorizo, and she was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back!"

We had visited a few years ago and I don't remember being that impressed, hence the reason we haven't been back, but last night we thought we would give them another shot.I like that their menu lists the employees favorite items to order - I took the recommendation from employee Reina and ordered the Cajun Chicken Lettuce Wrap with Grilled Onions, but they unfortunately forgot the onions. I didn't notice until half way through because I was enjoying it so much - the chicken was juicy and full of flavor even though it was very thin which I liked. I chose Cajun Sweet Potato fries based off of another recommendation from the nice lady taking our order. Everything was cooked really well and I was a big fan of the Garlic Curly Fries as well as my Chicken Burger with American cheese. The inside has a decent amount of seats as well as a nice patio area that you can people watch from or watch your kids play at the nearby playground. Bathroom was fairly clean too! They offer Milkshakes and some beers as well as a toppings and condiment bar where you can select what goes on your burger such as spicy pickles, pickled onions and pepperoncini's. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and if you're looking for a sit down burger place in the Natomas area - Monsoon Burger is where to go!"

I went with the hot chicken sandwich and a twist on a classic Arnold Palmer. They were out of the side I wanted so I went for the potato salad, which was just okay. The sandwich was yummy and filling and I had enough for a lunch the next day. Prices were affordable and I would definitely go back again!"

My buddy told me about their Not Chicken (cauliflower) and No Spice option (it's my tummy's fault) last week, when we were contemplating where to have dinner before going to a movie. He said, "I thought it was funny: Not Chicken." You can tell we've been close since high school, because that is exactly my type of humor. I thought, sounds good to me. And it turned out to be pretty good, too.IDK who Dave is in this case, but I appreciate him. This place has a simple concept: walk up to the counter and order. The menu is easy to read and has minimal choices. Chicken, Not Chicken, slider, nuggies, or strip. Side of fries, Choose your spice level. Soft drinks. I think they had shakes too? My order took a good 15 minutes to make, but I didn't mind too much as it came out fresh and hot. It's fast food yes, but it is made to order, and hasn't been sitting around. I may not come here in a rush to get anywhere else, but I try not to be in a rush ever so, yeah.I was really hungry so I did a Not Chicken slider and Not Chicken strip combo with crinkle cut fries. This turned out to be almost too much food. I would probably just have one slider next time. The flavors blend wonderfully in sammich form. By itself, the Not Chicken strip tastes more fried than anything else, and needs some sauce and pickle to compliment. This combo costed about $18 plus the $2.50 small soft drink, which does not come with a combo. Their special sauce tastes yummy, too. Similar to Raising Cane's. Nice to see No Spice means No Spice. Sure wish I could have Spice. No, the movie we were seeing this time was not Dune Tu. Would have been funny if it was. Anyway. Fries were nice and crispy, lightly seasoned. Yummy fat dill pickle slices came with. The Not Chicken was pretty good, but heavily breaded.There is a medium sized dining area inside, and we didn't have trouble finding a table for two. It was on the busy side when we were there, but it was dinner time and pouring outside. Overall I liked this place, especially for having the options I am looking for in my digestive nightmare of a life. I'll be back.Their hotness scale from what I hear really means what it means, for the spice craving individuals. I can't vouch for that, but hoping to bring my Dave here so I can report back on it. Can't report on bathrooms as I did not use them. The Not Chicken is vegan, and so are the fries. Chicken is made in a separate fryer."

We live on the south side of Rancho Cordova, about a 15 minute drive away, but it's always a pleasure to stop in if we happen to be passing by.A lot of times, we'll stop in for a drink to wet our whistle before heading home from our son's house. The bar is cozy and friendly. Daniel is a great bartender and we always enjoy the drinks he makes for us. Tobin has been our server on a few occasions when we've stopped in for a meal, and he has been friendly and attentive to our requests.Smokey Oaks Tavern Owner, Steve, is awesome. He always greets us with a friendly smile and asks us how we are.As I may have mentioned in other reviews, their brisket French dip is insanely delicious. When I got home, we discovered that there was no shrimp on the pizza. Like I mentioned earlier, they are not close to my house. We were very annoyed to say the least!I was going to write a zero star review and talked about getting cheated on my order.I happen to notice a link within one of the confirmation emails that allows customers to communicate if something went wrong. Perfect!I filled in the boxes and sent off my complaint. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a response...not even a short sorry.After submitting my complaint through their system, Roma's ended up refunding the entire cost of that pizza. I was really happy regarding the way they handled the situation. The owners seemed to be "stand up" kind of people. "Have driven past this coffee place a few times and it has always been SO busy! Decided to drop in super early on a Monday morning and I was still a little surprised to see how busy they still were. As I was staring at the menu one of the barista had asked if I was ready to order and I replied it was my first time in and the other barista immediately welcomed me in, talked a little bit about the coffee and gave a few recommendations which I really appreciated. I decided to try a butterscotch latte with oatmilk. The inside is very charming and quite large. They have tables, couches and some outdoor seating. My drink came out quick and although I can taste the butterscotch, it doesn't take away from their coffee itself which is really impressive. Friendly staff, great vibes, awesome coffee."

"This is the only place in Sacramento where I've found truly amazing, authentic canelés! My family and I can't get enough of them. If you know anything about baking canelés, you know they're a finicky labor of love and not easy to make, but Faria seriously nails it every single time. Their perfectly caramelized, crispy outer shell and rich, vanilla-y custard center are absolute perfection. These pastries are worth every penny! I read some reviews of people saying they're too pricey and too crunchy on the outside, but hello thats how authentic canelés are supposed to be and where the rich caramelized flavor comes from! They're expensive bc canelés are not easy to make and they use local ingredients. Try making some and you'll quickly see why.. Plus they deliver, which is so convenient and I use it all the time lol! Personally, their customer service has always been great with me. Everyone I've talked to has been nice and friendly. Their buckwheat coffee cake and kouign-amann are also excellent. Both are less sweet, but still incredibly flavorful and clearly made with top-notch ingredients. Their almond croissant is on the dryer and flakey side due to being twice baked, so keep that in mind if you're expecting a soft doughy croissant, twice baked isn't that! You can really tell that everything they bake is crafted with care and high-quality ingredients, which sets them apart from other bakeries in the area.On their website it shows how they support local farmers and buy their ingredients from them, which is not cheap and something most bakeries short cut. I truly appreciate their efforts to do this and buy local!If they ever stopped making canelés, I don't know what I'd do because they're my absolute favorite pastry. Definitely a must-visit!"

We were over in the Arden area, specifically at Loeman's plaza, and decided to stop in to Jack's. I was rather hesitant, but I jumped in and ran with it. I'm so glad that I did. This location made me love Jack's all over again.Are the prices still high? Of course. But the food quality, taste, and overall yummy is still there. The portions could be better, I think we're all looking for what we used to enjoy versus what we are currently enjoying. We ordered the steak salad and the spicy buffalo sandwich, and their original intent was to share. I ordered the urban fries instead of the regular fries with the spicy buffalo sandwich. I'm used to the fries definitely having more urban goodness poured over them, and this was definitely lacking, as was the portion size.The spicy chicken sandwich was really good. It was perfectly covered in buffalo sauce, cooked perfectly, and was really good. I wasn't a fan of the bun and it makes me question if they've changed vendors. The bun just seemed to be off. The steak salad was really tasty. With a variety of green goodness from kale, avocado, and so much more goodness, tossed into the salad, and almost was like the steak was a sidenote. Just because it was tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly, could've used more seasoning, but it was good nonetheless. There's plenty of parking, and parking is free. Thank you Jack's, for restoring my faith in you. Now, if we could do something about the portion sizes and the cost factor, we would all be loving you on a more regular basis"

Broth is tasty and ready to add your veggies and hoisin sauce and/or sriracha sauce. A side note, the Bahn Mi sandwich Saigon Special (B1) is also a favorite of mine. There was a generous amount of crab, a whole boiled egg, a generous amount of avocado (looked like half), plenty of cherry tomatoes, crispy, fresh romaine, and Louie dressing. A sourdough roll topped it off. I was very impressed with not only the quality of the ingredients but the freshness of everything and all for an unexpected price!Dining out has become so expensive with food costs and increased wages for servers, etc. These added costs have given me pause when tipping. If servers are now being paid a more reasonable wage and food costs have trebled at some restaurants, I am reluctant and even beginning to balk at giving 20% of my purchase. It appears that this restaurant may have considered that as well. I say that because the "suggested tip" amounts include a 10% suggestion. I really appreciate that. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. I also walked away with a loaf of sourdough bread because I belong to the rewards program!I will definitely return soon to try the other Dungeness crab offering before it leaves the menu."

Floating atop hot, steaming broth topped with fresh cabbage. Oh so tasty. This is one of the better Ramen places in town. Family owned. The Tonkatsu Sandwich (tempura fried pork cutlet w/shredded marinated cabbage) between slices of fluffy Japanese Bread is unique to Soku. (Eat it hot n fresh out of kitchen!
