"I know what you're thinking--all-you-can-eat? No way it's good. I thought the same, and boy, was I wrong. This place seriously surprised me!We went on a Tuesday and got the all-you-can-eat option, which also included unlimited sake and beer. It was absolutely delicious, and we will definitely be back.We heard about this spot through an IG post, so we were skeptical, thinking it might just be fake promo. But no, it's actually great--and the service was, too! While it did take a bit of time to get each round of food, it was worth the wait. Plus, time flies with unlimited drinks and good company. We didn't opt for the premium menu, but the standard option was still fantastic.Pros:- High-quality fish, especially the torched rolls.- Amazing apps: seaweed salad, chicken karaage, and gyoza were all fantastic.- Delicious calamari (just needed a bit of salt).- Great atmosphere and service.Cons:- The spicy tuna roll wasn't for us; it had a sweet sesame flavor that wasn't our favorite.- The green tea ice cream was served in plastic ramekins with lids, and the quality could have been better.- Food took a while to come out, but the unlimited drinks made up for it.Overall, we were blown away by how good this place was. Can't wait to come back!"
"My boyfriend and I were visiting this place monthly because it was our favorite. A few months ago we returned and ordered the same thing we always do only to find out they changed the pork (and changed the way they cook it) in the tonkatsu red ramen. The staff is always great and very attentive. We never have to wait to be seated but unfortunately the change in meat was our dealbreaker."

"Came here on a rainy Thursday around 630 and it was definitely a wait. However they were as quick as they could be and delivered delicious food.Wasn't to loud and overall cool looking place."
"We usually come a bit early to avoid larger crowds and to get fresher rolls. Always seated right away and super friendly sushi chef at bar and waitress' getting our dinner going. We like coming here cause tables are clean upon sitting and we can actually hear one another talk. The lobster hand roll, tako nigiri, and Shelly roll are my faves. The hubs likes the ziggy roll."
"My friend was craving Ramen while we were out running errands yesterday and she said we should check out Koshi in Natomas since they have some of the best veggie broth - per my friend. This was my first time visiting, but I have had Koshi bookmarked for a while so I was very excited to check them out for a late lunch! The inside was a bit small, but we found a spot at their bar area that was covered with a cute Christmas village display plus they even had Home Alone 2 on the TV - holiday heaven! We had to order at the counter and I couldn't decide between the Chicken Karaage Curry or the Chicken Katsu - the server told me that the Chicken Karaage Curry was her absolute favorite so I decided to go with that. It was my first time trying itand I am so beyond glad that I did - it was a bowl of comfort food! I am still thinking about it and want to go back and eat it every day. It was so flavorful - it was a Christmas hug in a bowl! It will now be my go-to every time I see it on a menu going forward! We also ordered the Garlic Furikake Fries to share - not sure I would order them again though, but they were a nice sweet and salty treat.Overall, I really enjoyed the food and so did my friend. The staff was friendly even when one of the servers accidently spilled water all over my phone - she was distracted by my phone background of my 2 cute dogs so can you really blame her?I can't wait to come back - that Chicken Karaage Curry will be calling my name until we visit again!"
"Kodaiko has been on my list of places to eat for a long time now!! Finally got to try it for dine downtown if you don't know what that is it's a set menu for $45. 3 courses! The entrance to kodaiko is beautiful it feels like you are in another country! The 3 course meal was a rice starter app, some veggies and then the star of the show was the miso ramen! The ramen was really good! The sauce and the pieces of meat in it were my favorite! My gf and I both got diet cokes. They come in the can! The service was nothing special and honestly the server was nice but she definitely acted like she did not want to be there! She seemed very irritated! Overall- I think this is a really cute spot! Was it the best ramen I've ever had?! No!!! But I love how it's close to the arena and how they support the kings! It's also like eating in a well decorated basement! I would for sure come back! Maybe next time I'll have better service!"
"Great experience. Service was quick and food was excellent. The Tuna Don was an above average dish and they added some very nice details to the dish to make it not so basic. Would highly recommend and I'll be going back."
"Food The bottom ramen was the Spicy Tonkotsu ( Thin Noodles ). I got the medium spice level, which was such a good one. Enjoyed the broth, it didn't feel too heavy. A full egg was given and two big pieces of meat. The combination of the vegetables and everything that was in this ramen was perfect. The ramen came out at a good temperature and it was served hot.ServiceYou order at a kiosk and then place the number plate. Once you sit down at the table after the food is ready then they bring out the food to you. The experience of this store is really cute. At the front of the store, there is a mini store where they have Japanese drinks and candy along with some anime items. There is a parking lot. Very enjoyable for you or your family. Would visit this restaurant again and try the different ramen options."
"WOW! I'm so glad Jake and I left the office just before noon because this place filled up fast. It was a rainy day back in December 2024, and the craving for fresh ramen was too strong to resist. Pro tip: arrive just before noon to snag a seat. They also have a fridge stocked with cold drinks, including sodas and beer bottles.I went with the House Ramen, which featured a pork bone-based soup loaded with cabbage, bean sprouts, bamboo, pickled ginger, egg, green onion, spinach, and two slices of chashu (sliced pork). I opted for medium spiciness, and it hit the spot perfectly. The broth combined with all the veggies was fantastic--just what I needed on a rainy day. We'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other dishes. The Champong looked absolutely amazing!"
"So lucky to have a solid ramen spot in the neighborhood! It's not usually crowded, but don't let that deter you. Parking is also a breeze as the lot doesn't usually get too busy.My husband and I usually get the same thing and the quality is always consistent. We love the fried squid legs, black tonkotsu ramen, and black + red ramen.I've also tried the pork katsu curry and was stunned by the portion. Plenty to share or have for leftovers!Very quick service for the delicious meals. The handful of times we've ordered takeout were wonderful experiences as well. Highly recommend if you ever have a ramen craving!"
"My recent visit to The Izakaya was fantastic! The ambiance was inviting, with a modern yet cozy design that made for a comfortable dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met.The sushi was incredibly fresh and expertly crafted. We ordered a variety of rolls, including the Daddy's Roll, Titanic Roll, and the Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, all were bursting with flavor. We also had some sashimi that melted in my mouth. The presentation was beautiful, making each dish a delight for the eyes as well.I found the prices to be very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the skill involved in their preparation. While some items were priced a bit higher than typical sushi spots, the overall experience and taste made it worth every penny. In conclusion, I would highly recommend The Izakaya to anyone looking for an exceptional sushi experience. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or someone trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed. I look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu!"
"Food was good. I thought having overcooked beef in the ramen was kinda odd, but I enjoyed the broth and ate most the noodles. Oysters were good as well, although I wished I had read that it was topped with pickled wasabi...I would've asked it to be put on the side. Daughter enjoyed the sashimi. Gave it 4 stars because I didn't see on the table that there was a 4% card fee."

While getting my car worked on, I needed some lunch. That's when I discovered Umi Sushi! It was about 1:05 p.m. and they were still running their lunch service. As I walked in everyone greeted me and let me sit by the window at a table that was half bench with 2 chairs. They had the TV on ESPN, which I like this time of year! I looked over the menu and noticed they have an All You Can Eat lunch for $37. Or I could've ordered 2 rolls for a similar price, but because I like a variety, so I decided to go with the AYCE sushi!I started with some bbq beef short ribs (it was one, cut up into pieces), spicy edamame, and a salmon skin handroll. I could've ordered a few of those bbq beef short ribs, but I wanted to try as much as I could fit! I guess I'm not a salmon skin kinda girl. I like my salmon raw, lol. This has bits of cooked salmon stuck to the skin, which I'm sure is usual, but but my thing. As my waitress checked up on me, I would order the next item to try. Krispy shrimp roll, lion king roll, salmon poki, chicken karaage(these are like dark meat fried chicken nuggets) , salmon nigiri, and last, the Tonkotsu ramen with chadhu (you can sub tofu). All were very delicious, except the Krispy shrimp roll. I could tell the shrimp was not fried that day. The batter on the fried shrimp felt like it was a day or two old, and the shrimp didn't taste like shrimp. It was like it lost its flavor from being stored a few days. I stayed away from anything with fried or Krispy shrimp at that point. I enjoyed the service! She was fast and was always there if she saw me looking around. They weren't busy, but were steady with orders. The table next to me also had the AYCE sushi and I know they also throughly enjoyed their lunch!I will probably not get anything with shrimp, but I will be back for another round. I'll bring my man and a few friends next time!

My go to ramen spot in Elk Grove. What can I say besides this place has a great vibe to it. I really enjoy the sense of style and it's not too busy and loud. Staff is always great and food comes out fast and consistent. I generally go with a bowl of ramen but this time I decided to experiment with the chashudon and WOW! The Chashu was always my favorite part of ramen but topped with rice and their sweet ginger glaze and I think I have found a new favorite. This place is a must try out in EG. Only issues is parking can be a bit rough out there and also they don't serve any alcoholic beverages. But that's a small price to pay for such a great ramen spot in EG

This quaint place is superb! It has less than tables but the service is awesome! Everyone is attentive and helpful. Their menu selection is also small but each dish is very delicious! They even have a kid portion that fits perfectly for my 8 year old. Can't wait to go back!

Service was awesome here. The ladies were so friendly to us. And they brought hot water to our table so we didn't have to wait at the cashier. We ordered their popular ramen and their vegetable tempura. They were both delicious. I really liked how they added actual garlic to the ramen. One fault about this place is that none of their ramen come with an egg, which a lot of other ramen shops include. But other than that, the vibe here checks out. Perfect place to hang after shopping or before/after watching a movie next door.

I've been searching for a good ramen bowl and Kodaiko has easily the best ramen in Sacramento. The Tonkotsu had a rich, creamy broth packed with deep umami flavor, perfectly chewy noodles, and melt-in-your-mouth chashu pork. I've had many delicious ramen bowls in LA and Japan and this place was on par. I will definitely be back! Thank you, Kodaiko!

Food is always DELICIOUS. Our spicy tonkatsu was a tiny bit too spicy but we just had lots of water and ate it slower haha we also got the chicken, gyoza, and edamame (large portion). Chicken was so good my bf wanted another order even though he was full. Let's talk about these surprise decorations though! Didn't expect to see it look so cute when we walked it and it was such a lovely atmosphere! The playlist was all love songs (oldies). Service on such a busy night was surprisingly excellent! Our appetizers came out quick and held us over since the ramen took a bit longer than usual. The timing of getting us the appetizers and letting us enjoy our meal was perfect though so I highly recommend getting appetizers if you notice it's a busy night. Wish they had a water refill station so we wouldn't have to bug the person bussing the tables for a refill. Sweet touch to give us all a Valentine's Day treat too thank you for an excellent night!

"This is one of mine and my daughter's favorite places to go. The food here is AMAZING! It is always fresh and made when ordered. As their menu says their signature Tonkotsu broth is simmered for 72 HOURS. This broth has a deep rich flavor that is savory to say the least. The service is impeccable. The staff is patient and kind, they are very informative when asked questions. The dining area is so clean. The presentation of the food is very consistent and beautiful. I love the Fukumi Ramen. The Chashu Pork is fantastic! You really cannot go wrong with anything you order here."
"The place has decent amount of seatings and is well lit. The menu is not huge; which is a good sign (personally) for a local restaurant. They mainly focus on Thai/Japanese fusion dishes.Ordered: Karaage Chicken, Beef Pad See Ew, Pipo Curry RamenKaraage chicken is good. The batter is thin and seasoned well. The chicken is not dry and quite flavorful. The homemade dipping sauces are a great addition. The mayo/sriracha (assuming) sauce isn't dense. This light texture sauce is more enjoyable since the chicken is already deep fried. I like the sweet chili sauce because it adds a bit of sweetness to the chicken and balance out the flavor.Beef Pad See Ew is a bit salty for me, but it could just be only that time. I have to say the noodle and veggies are super flavored from the sauce. If it is less salty, it would be great. The beef is a bit dry, even with the sauce but it's not a dealbreaker. The server is very helpful in recommending spice level. There are 5 levels and I agree that level 2 is a comfortable spot. I'm not good with spice but level 2 isn't too bad.The Pipo Curry Ramen is delicious. The noodles are cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The egg is seasoned well and slightly runny. The broth is on the light side in comparison to other ramen places, but I think it worked out since the curry flavor is already bold. The chicken is thinly cut, which is different. However, I do wish it is a bit thicker to avoid tasted dry.I wouldn't mind trying other dishes next time I'm around the area."
"I ordered large bowl because I wanted variety of protein, but each protein they only give like couple of pieces, and they give large amount of sides like seaweed salad, ginger I know those sides are cheaper but what makes poke is poke not ginger or seaweed, they should give larger amount of protein and small amount of sides, but it still tasted good but I was so excited about taro smoothie and I ordered with regular sweet and with no milk but they gave me a premade one with super sweet coconut milk and it was undrinkable so I had to toss it, it was very disappointing..."
"Didn't expect anything from this small, simple noodle cafe behind Sushi Cafe. I ordered the Chashu Black Garlic Ramen- wow! The thick, rich, full flavored broth that clings to the fresh ramen was exactly what I was seeking. It was like I was back in Japan. The chashu was prepared accordingly. Floating atop hot, steaming broth topped with fresh cabbage. Oh so tasty. This is one of the better Ramen places in town. Family owned. The Tonkatsu Sandwich (tempura fried pork cutlet w/shredded marinated cabbage) between slices of fluffy Japanese Bread is unique to Soku. (Eat it hot n fresh out of kitchen! Follow up with ramen soup on a cold day....) P.S. Keep this place our secret. (If I have to wait next time, my bad.)"
"It was my first time coming to this location. I've been to the one in San Jose many times when I used to work in the area. But at this location, I was surprised to see it empty. The place looked very big but with no bodies inside it. I'm not sure if I just came at an off time and it's supposed to get busy in the evening (it did say that they close at 12am). My favorite thing about this place is the quality of the drink and also the pricing. It's very comparable to San Jose's prices. I got the 3G (milk tea with boba, grass jelly and pudding) all for $5.75, with tax it came to $6.40 something. Their menu is similar to San Jose's for which I'm grateful. Im glad they don't hike up the prices bc it's Sacramento. The only thing I'd suggest is the cleanliness/smell of the place. It doesn't smell clean. The restroom also needed a lot of attention- there was no soap, the dispenser was broken, urine was all over the seat and the floor and it had a very strong vinegar/chemical smell. The place is located along Florin so it's not the best spot but I'd suggest to make it at least smelling clean and inviting. The workers except for 1 seemed friendly. Overall, I give them a 4 for the quality of drinks. Maybe they can also have some games like other boba places."
"Overall 3.75 starsPrices 2.5 starsAmbience 5 starsService 5 starsFood 3.75 starsIt's a Japanese restaurant that doesn't serve sushi. It serves mostly cooked Japanese items like yakitori items which is basically little pieces of either meat or veggies, seasoned & BBQd food on a stick. They also serve donburi which is cooked food on rice, and ramen which most ppl know by now.For the yakitori, I've had the amazing tender beef tongue, A5 wagyu, chicken thigh, shittake mushroom and asparagus. They have other yakitori items that sound enticing that I'd like to try one say such as the chicken gizzard/heart, zucchini, chicken cartilage, short rib, and chicken wings. All the ones I've tasted have been really good except for the shittake mushroom due to it tasting burnt. The winner for me is definitely the A5 wagyu but I believe it's a pretty $15 penny each time for two not that big pieces. The veggie items are around $3.50 and meat items a little more. In my opinion, the yakitori is what wins here, albeit you don't get full, so you spend much more $ because one gets small amounts for the $. I did try the tako (octopus) karrage cuz it sounded unique for $10.95 which I wasn't super impressed with but the usual geso (squid legs) at $11.95, I really loved. They have a medium sized selection for ramen although I haven't tried them yet, but I did see it has good reviews. I sampled a little of the broth but wasn't super feeling it (I am very picky with ramen broth.)They have a good sized donburi menu, the unagi (eel) being my typical favorite. I tried the gyu don for $16.95 which is a sauteed thin meat dish with onions on rice. Wasn't the best I've had, but wasn't terrible. They also have an impressive list of Japanese curries which I'd like to try one day. The prawn katsu curry for $18, the beef tongue curry $18, and also the beef tongue curry ramen for $18 are some enticing sounding dishes. FYI beef tongue is incredibly tender. Don't let the odd, weird & unique sounding food title fool you. It's so good. I've had the steamed oysters and they are ginormous. For my oyster connoisseurs, they use the large Miyagi Oysters. They weren't bad. My son devoured them and they were reasonably priced. One of my go to Japanese dishes that is really good is the hamachi kama (yellow tail collar). Its my fave dish here so far. It was big, tender, flavorful, & I highly suggest it.Some special menu items I wanna try one day when I am feeling really splurgey is the A5 wagyu fried rice for $35. Also the unagi fried rice for $28. They have ankimo (monkfish liver) & is my Japanese fave and its $11.95.I talked alot about food, but their ambience is pretty okay too. Their theme is city like, booths, and it's semi- private, not too quiet not too loud either which is important to my aging eardrums. They have a few 2 seaters and their booths can fit 4 -6. Seating is not too expansive, but interestingly, I haven't had to wait for a table anytime I've been here, and I've been here about 3 times already. The service I've had has been pretty good all the time. The thin, pretty, light skinned lady is pretty helpful and sweet. They choose their servers wisely that's for sure. Located in the Nugget shopping center & parking has been available every time. Great for casual lunch or dinner dates, small to medium sized groups. I don't think largeish parties 8 or more can fit here. If they added some Japanese rolls, sashimi, or nigiri I'd come here more often."
"This area used to be my neck of the woods and I never got a chance to try Jinme Ramen & Sushi until recently. Not only is this a great date spot, it's a great 'just because' you want amazing food spot!JRSB is easily spotted from the road during the day and at night, it has outdoor seating with patio lighting. Since it was a hot day, we sat inside. We picked window seating and received our drinks right away. I have heard the ramen at this spot is delicious, so that was at the top of our list and we were going all out. As we put in our order, the owner sent our table a complimentary veggie spring roll appetizer with a side sauce. So delicious thank you chef!We ordered the Bulgoli fries for our appetizer. They were piping hot worry with a sweet Sriracha and a sweet mayo drizzled on top, bulgoli (marinated chopped ribeye) and finished with jalapenos. They were good, but the meat was chopped so small, the bits of steak on top weren't as enjoyable. Maybe overcooked and the fries got cold quick. As we nibbled on both, we watched the dining room fill up and the owners hard at work behind the sushi counter. We received our spicy ramen bowls (there are three levels of spice, I got the meduim, level 2, and he got hot, level 3). All ramen bowls come with a pork broth. I ordered mine with pork belly and he ordered his with steak. They looked mouth watering irresistible. Along with our ramen, we received The Reggae sushi roll and The JLO sushi roll. Both topped with salmon and masago, filed with deep fried shrimp. The biggest difference in our rolls is that The Reggae has cream cheese and cucumber and The JLO has imitation crab... but first things first... we sipped our broth. It was delicious. He let me try his and that was pretty spicy, but I loved mine. I feel like with the medium, I can taste the spice and taste the gorgeous flavor of the broth. The Pork Belly and Steak Ramen looked beautiful. Our Ramen bowls have kimchi, bean sprouts, spinach, cilantro, and fresh green ramen noodles. Every bite was intoxicating, I wanted more! I thought the pork belly was so delicious! It was juicy and cooked perfectly! After going around the table between sushi, ramen, spring rolls, fries... we did hit a breaking point. Plus, how amazing would it be to sit at home and finish this together? Not wasting another minute, we got everything boxed up, he paid, and on our way out, we also tipped the owners/sushi chefs personally. They have a clear fish jar on the sushi bar, SO DON'T FORGET TO SHOW SOME LOVE!Jinme Ramen & Sushi Bar is a restaurant I must come back to. Not only am I craving their delicious food, but the atmosphere was perfect. It is set up with tables & chairs. It's the perfect place to enjoy your time with someone, or even order takeout and enjoy it at home. THANK YOU for a wonderful delicious experience. We will see you again soon!"
"We recently dined at Fukumi Ramen in Folsom and found the experience to be somewhat mixed due to limited chicken options and extra charges for substitutions. Any substitutions required an extra cost which was a bit frustrating. It would be great if the restaurant could offer more flexibility in customizing the orders for non-pork eaters. The chicken broth served with pork belly may not appeal to everyone. I would say the service was okay. I felt the server was not pleased when we kept asking for extra hot sauce and when we requested our group picture to be taken. Anyways, I ordered shrimp Donburi, which was good however, the shrimp had extra salt. I would recommend toning down on the salt. Btw, they do have kids' ramen option which is awesome. My kids would love to come here. Parking situation - You have to search for parking around the complex or park at the parking garage. Ambiance - Is nice indoors and great spot for lunch. I would totally return but hopefully next time the service is better, and the menu has improved."
"Cute little spot, but parking is pretty limited. Since it's near a residential area, you might be able to find street parking in the neighborhood. Prices for ramen, udon, and donburi are reasonable, but the tacos are on the pricey side. Service was quick.I tried the Taco Unagi, and it was pretty solid. The unagi sauce was a bit more tart than I'm used to, but the eel itself was melt in your mouth soft. The veggies added a nice crunch, and the taco shell (which I think was fried seaweed) was crispy but bland on its own. Also got the Classic Ramen (no bamboo, no ginger), and it was alright. They gave a lot of noodles. The broth had good flavor without being too heavy. My friend loved the noodles and thought they were super bouncy with a nice chew. They ordered the taco crab mix, curry udon, and shoyu ramen, and they seemed to enjoy their food too!"
"Food: 5The octopus legs are a must have. I ordered the garlic ramen. It was very rich in flavor but the garlic wasn't over powering.Service: 5. You order in the front and pay ahead of time. Love how it's quick Ambiance: 5 I put a 5. It's a nice "fast food" ramen place. It was cozy and clean. Everything is self help which is also nice."
"In short- really great experience. Recommended dishes were great. Best thing we thought about this place is the food and the service. The cashier and server were kind and attentive. Food was really done well for limited menu items. We'll definitely come again.Restaurant: Food: 5/5Cleanliness: 5/5Service: 5+/5Price: 5/5Great job Koshi- thanks for a nice evening"
"Great new place! The Sacramento area is heavily lacking in quality ramen shops so this place was a welcome surprise. Even though its a meatless broth, the depth of flavor is pretty on point and similar to what we had when visiting Japan. We definitely recommend this place for ramen fans! The service was a bit slow but the store wasnt crowded when we went in."
"Placed an order for pickup, inside was nice and clean. I arrived at 8:30pm and they close at 9pm, they were starting their nightly cleaning for close but they were willing to make me a Kalbi spare rib plate which I really appreciate it. I had the black garlic ramen, I'm a huge garlic fan and really enjoyed the amount of garlic chunks in there. The broth was a little bland but I added some chili oil to it to spice it up a bit. My son had the chicken ramen and it had a good amount of chicken in it. My Kalbi spare ribs were a little fatty, but still had a good flavor to them. I also really like the macaroni salad it came with, along with rice and veggies."
"My friend recommended me to try this local ramen shop in Sacramento. I'm so glad I got to try this place before they close their indoor dining this Sunday (March 31st), but I'm excited to see their new series and what's in store for them. The wait was around 15 minutes since there isn't much indoor dining. They have plenty of outdoor seating but it was cold and raining, so the seating was limited. However, the wait went by fast and we were seated inside shortly. It's such a cute and cozy ramen shop. The lady who helped us was so friendly and helped answered any questions we had. Great customer service. As for the food, we got the shoyu ramen, which tasted delicious. The broth tasted as it should be, and the noodles were very soft and cooked to my liking. The furikake fries were crunchy and had a sauce on them. Toward the end it was just plain fries so I wish there was a bit more to spread evenly amongst all the fries. But still very delicious! We also got the pork curry which was quite good and a big portion. Although this place will be closing their indoor dining, I believe they're still accepting take out order. Hope to see this place open its indoor dining soon!"
"New favorite alert! Was next door at the 3D printing studio and decided to stop by for lunch- so glad I did. We got an unagi skewer and a pork belly skewer to start. These come out piping hot with the perfect amount of char. The unagi was soft with the perfect amount of sauce. The pork belly was tender and melts in your mouth- must try!I got the garlic tonkatsu ramen, which the waitress said is her family's favorite. It comes loaded with noodles, tender pork, perfect soft egg. The broth is not too salty or garlicky, and random but the bowl keeps everything so nice and warm.My boyfriend got the hamburger curry. The rice was perfectly cooked and the curry was so flavorful and comforting. The hamburger patty could've been seasoned a tad more, but it was still delicious. It's a quiet restaurant with a decent amount of seating and great service. Would definitely return."
"Another hard to find, tucked in the corner and not enough signage yummy food spot. Vons is located next to Sushi Hook on Howe. This location shares operation with a Ramen and More. My fiancé and I tried two orders of their chicken and Bulgogi Ramen. The prices of the chicken seem a bit steep compared to other chicken locations but in this day and age small restaurants like this are just trying to survive. We order a half order Crispy Yangnyum, half order crispy garlic chicken tenders and Bulgogi Ramen. The Yangnyum has a bit of a kick. The half order of legs are huge and have tons of meat. The flavor is all the way down to the bone. Next time I will try the legs extra well done for a better crunch which I heard is the way to go. I also added the butter powder seasoning to a few of my legs as suggested by a friend. A must try!!! The crispy garlic chicken tenders were delicious! They are crunchy and flavorful. They use chicken thighs to make their tenders. The tenders are a nice size and covered in their garlic sauced. I also added the butter powder seasoning to a few of my tenders just to see! It's really good with their butter powder seasoning as well. The Bulgogi Raman bowl was pretty yummy. The meat was well seasoned and tender! I am not a fan but my fiancé enjoyed the bowl. Besides, the price and location the food is really good. The service is great! The restaurant is small in the inside with Limited seating. For those who like Sake, they have a few selections on their menu."
"I'm not typically big on ramen, but this place was a nice surprise! I stopped by after grocery shopping and had a great experience. The woman that helped me was so nice and had such great customer service. She really honestly went above and beyond. She made multiple recommendations with details and was nice enough to bring me everything, including filling my drink, since I had my hands full with my daughter. Aside from the great customer service, I found the ramen to be so good! I got the tonkotsu and it was perfect. Other places I've tried were either too salty or way too rich for my liking, but not here. The soft boiled egg was my favorite. I also ordered gyoza, which was good also. I takoyaki was also flavorful and nicely cooked. The portion sizes for everything were fairly large in my opinion. Overall I enjoyed this place and will definitely come back to try other flavors of the ramen!"
"I couple of friends and I stopped by here for dinner. Tokyo House located in the old sno white building. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and asked if I was ordering to go or eating in. I let her know I was eating in with a coupe friends and she said I could picked anywhere to sit. I ordered the Gyoza and Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen which I added an additional egg, corn and extra noodles and a hot tea. My appetizer arrives and the gyoza was delicious and flavorful the meat inside was equally flavorful I highly recommend it. My Ramen arrives and it too was delicious. N did feel it lacked some flavor though. I needed to add a lot of chili oil and chili seasoning to it. The pork was very tender but too lacked flavor. The broth was good but too needed more flavor. It definitely wasn't bad but I do have to knock a star off for this reason. Overall, I'd definitely will come back and try other reman dishes and appetizers. It's definitely worth coming to if you are in the area. I wouldn't make a special trip out though."
"Ramen is great here. Chill atmosphere. Great amount of seating. Plenty of vegetarian options. My date and I couldn't decide between Thai and ramen so we were able to order off both the Ramen 101 and Orchid Thai menus - the interior of both restaurants are connected. Service was great and prompt, restaurant was clean. We have been here a handful of times and it's consistently good. Only challenge can be finding parking around here."
"I came here for the grand opening. I've followed the owner from other sushi restaurants that he worked at. He is a very talented sushi chef! I love the flavors that he creates. I'm so happy that he opened this restaurant here in Rocklin way closer to where I live. Don't hesitate to eat here you will love it!!"
