"Had a downright enjoyable visit last week at Brew Masters. When I arrived it was just myself and the two staff members at the counter. They could not have been more accomodating and friendly. I let them know that Jessica had responded to an email inquiry about hanging out and using their Wifi while I ate dinner, and right away I was directed to the most comfortable seating area which held overstuffed couches and chairs (freaking awesome). I plugged right in and was treated to a sample of blond ale, which was a terrific recommendation. After about 20 minutes the crowd started to filter in and I'm pretty sure every single person was recognized. It was awesome. I ordered the chicken tacos special and they were terrific. Can't wait try one of their sandwiches and soup.It's always a little intimidating trying out small town establishments when you aren't a true local. But that night, I sure felt like one!***Make sure to check out when they are open because the hours are limited."

"TL;DR very good, could be better, but you won't complain about your food.Another place that had been on my list of places to try that happened to fall into place this past weekend.The wife wanted to see this long black hard engine names Big Boy in DT Roseville so off we went. We came hungry so went for it.....Menage Tois or whatever 3 onion burger thing, fish & chips, and the French dip.We also got 4 different beers.I don't know if we've been fein'in for beer but I haven't had this good of a beer experience in a long time. I think the last time was Moksa when every beer I tried was great.We got the Broken Pieces (Pils), Rooted With (Belgian Blonde), Lidsla Moucha (Amber), and the Heavy Robes (Barleywine)...all were great.I was most excited to try their burgers as there is a local celebrity in the Roseville area named Bobby who is like some sort of Burger phenom and this place is his favorite....I gotta say, as far as the burger itself (the meat) it was probably one of the best I've had in my life. It was actually worth the hype. The type of burger I got was forgettable....the onion wasn't really oniony and the kitchen failed to spread the horseradish correctly so the middle was all horseradish and the edges had none....but the burger itself was awesome.Seeing as how we just had the fish and chips from The Boxing Donkey, in comparison this one is worse.The fish was super buttery, but significantly smaller in portion. It probably wouldn't fill you up, but ok none the less. My wife liked the tartar sauce.The French Dip was pretty tasty. The ju was good and actually had flavor instead of just tasting like salty brown water.My wife enjoyed the French Dip mostly plain without dipping into the ju so that should tell you something.Overall the food was pretty good, I feel like the portions could be better....I actually thought we would end up with leftovers but our fat asses ate all three of the entrees.The fries were forgettable, duck fat or not and service could have been a bit better, but it was a busy day so I'm not going to complain too much about it.Overall good experience and would come back again"

"I like this place a lot so I'm going to do my best to give my thoughts! Tipsy Putt is located next to Golden One area and across from Suaced. It's a great spot for a date night, hanging with a group of friends, kicking after an event downtown or just tired of the same old routine. The fun beings when you walk downstairs after a quick check of your id. The layout is like an inside park for adults. They have miniature golf, cornhole and duffleboard as well as various other games. They have TVs so you don't miss the Kings getting their butt kick. Haha jk They have tons of food options. Please try the nachos! Tons of beers on tap. My girlfriend and I were having our once a week walk downtown when we stumbled upon the pub. I had just finishing smoking because I had a busy week and wanted to relax on our walk. We were planing to go to Tiger because we like the vibe there as well but my girlfriend spotted Tipsy Putt. I was like why not! Once we walked in we were surprised with an invite to see the details put into the pub. After, a nice cocktail and meeting some of the staff we played a game of miniature golf. The staff saw we were having date night and invited us into their hidden Speakeasy. Wow the Speakeasy is a whole vibe. Upscale! Top notch drinks! Romantic! and a great change of pace. We were lucky! "We came here a couple years ago when it was a different restaurant. I'm glad it changed! A cozy but super spacious pub with a limited menu. But when you do it all right, who needs filler options? We started with the pretzel which was not your typical pretzel appetizer. It almost seemed deep fried. Crunchy on the outside and sweet and chewy on the inside. It was a table favorite. The mustard was a little sweet for my taste but the cheese sauce was better than any where else. The fries were delicious and beer battered- can't go wrong there. My husband got the cottage pie which was SO good I wished I ordered it too. Honestly the best way to describe it is a warm hug with tons of flavor. I got the pub burger, which I may pass on next time. The flavor was good and it was cooked perfectly. It was just a little too big to get a good bite which made it kind of sloppy. I'll opt for the fish and chips next time. The London Boy cocktail was so refreshing it was dangerous. Service was impeccably friendly and attentive. We love the proud display of inclusivity as soon as you walk in the door. A welcome breath of fresh air in these hostile times. A reminder to be kind. We can't wait to return!"

A beautiful restaurant with a bar that I'd like for my dining room table. That wood! Story for another time, back to my review.ALL of the staff are friendly, stylish and upbeat. The ambiance is delightful. Modern, gorgeous space.I'd suggest having a restaurant consultant or someone in the hospitality biz come and look at the space- it's a bit dis-jointed and needs some continuity. The food! The glorious food.My husband and I ordered the Prime Rib. It was the star of the show. Flavorful with or without the umami filled au jus and creamy horseradish. On its own, it was better Prime Rib than we found in the Bay Area for less than 1/3 of the price. Tasty sides of mashed and asparagus too!My Mom-in-love had the chicken sando and potato salad- huge portions and the next day I had 1/4 of the sandwich and some potato salad. It was dyne-o-mite!Overall this establishment is a winner! Not too hard on the wallet either!"

"This is the place to go for English pub-food or an English breakfast! I recently came on a weeknight with some friends, and were able to be seated without a reservation. The restaurant didn't seem too busy. Weekends however, are a different story- I have yet to have weekend brunch here, because the wait time is always over 50 minutes!Dinner items I tried:- Pimms cup: a classic cocktail, nice and refreshing- although they use lemon juice + sprite instead of ginger ale. I found that it was kind of missing the "spice" element that Pimms cup usually has.- Olallieberry linen: never heard of ollallieberry before this, but it's very similar to a blackberry. Very delicious twist on a white linen.- Shepherd's pie: really delicious and flavorful, topped with creamy mashed potatoes. Highly recommend.- Fried picklesOverall, love the theme/vibe, super fun. Service was also great- our waitress overheard us talking about a birthday at our table, and brought out a complimentary dessert + candle for the birthday girl."

The morning cocktails cost more than the meal itself, but definitely worth it for this breakfast.At Happy Hour, the German beers are $5 and the corn dogs with curry ketchup are a must! The fries were overcooked for me because I'm one of those people who like semi-soggy fries. For the quality and price, I really cannot complain. Excellent for any occasion."

Others in our party liked their burger, tacos, nachos, chicken wings, and mac n cheese. But a few also thought their chicken was too salty. Overall, fun place for a casual hang out and really fun with a big group of friends. Biggest con is the lack of parking especially with Gunther's Ice Cream across the street. Staff are friendly and kept our tables clear of dishes."

The wife and I couldn't think of what to eat and we're watching The Best Food Review Show on that bastard Sonny was doing a fish and chips special.That made me remember about this place's Fish and Chips as it has been suggested multiple times on local community forums.I was expecting a complete shit show coming in on a Friday night at 6:30, but it was mostly empty.We sat at the bar and we're promptly served.Service in general was pretty quick but upon ordering the fish and chips we were warned of a 45 minute wait as the fryer was backed up....Considering the bar was more than half empty that's a bit concerning as most everything on the menu is fried or has a fried component....I couldn't even imagine if the place was packed.Either way though, I don't think we waited the full 45 minutes before the food came out and I have to say, it's easily the best fish and chips I've had in a VERY long time.The fish was nice and crunchy, thick, flaky, and moist.I don't know if the tartar sauce is house made but that shit was amazing.The fries were also very good. Not your normal fry....fresh cut, not frozen, well seasoned, but not shitty like In-N-Out fries. My only small gripe is it is a bit pricey by a few bucks on most of the food items, but all in all a pleasant experience."

"The Trax Taproom and Kitchen is a fun place to chill and to eat. I specifically went for the Open Mic Night on Mondays hosted by CJ Washington and Devin Wright for Motiv Local Live Music. Those two are my favorite local band. I was so impressed by everyone's singing and instrument playing abilities. No one had stage fright. They just confidently perform. Seth Kaminsky was also there to perform 2 new songs. Other singer-musicians included Nikki, Larry, Todd, Charlie, and more. David Albertson from my other favorite local band, The Albertson Duo, also can show up for Open Mic Night.Recommended by the owner, the Conductor Sliders are 2 mini cheeseburgers with arugula and paprika seasoned fries. Burgers were yummy and tender topped with melted cheese and grilled onions.The Trax tacos are fully loaded with chicken, pickled red onions, tomato chunks, and paprika crema wrapped in a cheese fried tortilla. You get 3 in an order.$1 off beer during Happy Hour 4-6 PM every day. Beer is served in 10 oz and 16 oz size glasses. Owner was kind enough to let me taste 2 beers before deciding on #25 Hemly Cider Pink Lady. You can also order a flight of beers for $14.I didn't see any dessert on the menu, but I spotted Flores gummy fruity candies for sale.I think I found my hangout spot! "Sutter Creek can feel a bit limited on food choices from the visitors viewpoint. A group of us have stay in this quaint town for years now as part of our fall wine stock up adventure. Needing a bite (before 8PM, most places close around that time) we heading to try Cavana's on a Sunday night. It was starting to get busy because on Sunday nights they play music bingo. I highly recommend grabbing some grub and a cocktail and buying a few cards. It was a blast and we won a could of gift cards for our next visit. Playing bingo you will need a table inside, if that is too loud then there are a few on the sidewalk out front.Salads, sandwiches and burgers are on the menu. Healthy size portions too. I went with a delicious patty melt grilled perfectly on a marbled rye bread. Two to three napkins messy, it was that juicy, so be prepared. They offer plenty of cocktails and several of the local wines.It has a bit of the school pub feel, and was more locals that night than tourists. So you know if the locals are there, that's were you should be. Limited street parking."

"I stopped here because I had not been to this Brewery before. The beer itself is quite nice. I had the Lazy Hazy, and it had a very Lush taste on the palate. If you're not a fan of hazy, I would definitely say not to get this one.When I go to a brewery I always keep an open mind when it comes to the food that is served and with the hatch chili burger it was okay the flavors were fighting each other especially with the Pickled jalapeno. The Hatch Chili the roasted lost some of its flavor because it was trying to combat not only the jalapeno but the aioli sauce on the burger. I think a little bit of salt would have been great to harmonize the flavors.The most amazing piece of this though is the servers behind the bar they have great energy are very quick about getting an order and make you feel at home at this establishment.I will definitely be coming back to try out the other beers as the one 22 oz I got made me a little happy ;-)"
