"Okay, this is my absolute new favorite! Working with Food Simply was an exceptional experience. To begin with Camille is a gem. We worked with her to plan the event and find the right chef. Then the food was so innovative and fresh I loved how the chef styled each dish as if I was having a tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients was evident and the taste was truly delicious. I honestly never really enjoy catering to the point where I would rave about it as if I was at a fine dining restaurant, but this was it! That's the difference with hiring Food Simply! The private chefs at Food Simply have an appreciation for the art of cooking. And then they were incredibly accommodating to our specifications.I think I was downplaying how amazing the experience would be having a private chef at my house versus ordering catering in. To be honest, it felt bougie and perfect! I highly recommend Food Simply for your events. Even it's just dinner for two, it's really an upgrade from any other option!"

"Katerina is not only a talented chef but a very attentive business owner. From the minute I booked Katerina, she stayed in touch with me. Because the dinner went I hired her for was a very important event to me, this communication was very reassuring.The day of the event, Katerina came to my house to do all of the food prep and cooking. She also cleaned up thoroughly after she was done. She was very helpful with the reheating instructions and walked me through the process for roasting the leg of lamb. She also left me written instructions and sent a reassuring text after she left.The menu she and I planned was delicious: a butternut squash soup with creme fraiche and parmesan "cookies"; Mediterranean ground beef skewers with a garlic, yogurt dip; garlic mashed potatoes and a gorgeous leg of lamb with roasted carrots and parsnips. I had one guest who didn't like lamb, so Katerina prepared a Cornish hen for her.First, there was so much food that I was able to freeze some of it for another time. I had days and days of lamb, even after serving 7 people. My guests loved all of the food and hiring Katerina meant I was able to focus on my guests instead of hiding out in the kitchen.Katerina, thank you for making my mother's 75th birthday party an event that will be remembered and talked about for years."

They have a wonderful variety of foods. Everything I have tried has been quite tasty. Today we had the breakfast buffet for admin day. Prices are reasonable and comparable to others. They show up on time, set up, and pick up. I had to host one of the luncheons and was really impressed with the professionalism. I appreciated that he explained what everything was and most importantly how to snuff out the chafing pans correctly! I think I would have burned myself. He's based out of Sacramento but it was nothing at all for his team to drive to Reno for this special event. "Y'all, I live in Texas. I was born in Roseville and have a lot of family out that way. My most favorite aunt and uncle in the world are still there. They were a HUGE part of my upbringing - basically my second parents. I was with them as much as they'd tolerate me (they had their own kids so I just butted in every chance I could). Anyhoo, my aunt and uncle are now in their 80's. They've traveled all over the US and when I tell you they remember the name of the restaurant, the name of their waitress, and the best food at some hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere from 40 years ago, I'm not kidding. Sharp as tacks, both of them. Because of their age, and their love of food, I thought it might be fun to have their own personal chef come to their home and prepare a meal for them. I was pretty nervous to do this being I am so far away. I searched and searched, and then searched some more. Somehow I ran across Sauté Masters and after having some communication back and forth it just felt right, you know? We booked them and they arranged the dinner directly with my aunt and uncle. Oh my gosh, my aunt and uncle had THE BEST time! My uncle had the time of his life, and he can be very particular. My aunt said from the moments they walked in, they felt like family. If you're contemplating trying them out, just do it! Awesome folks, awesome food, awesome communication.... What more could you ask for? I love the convenience of how they come to your home, set up the entire production: including tables, chairs, plates and the grill - they even breakdown the event, all of which for a fee of $100 (set up/breakdown). While they require a minimum of 15 people, @ a price of $40 per person, you each get garlic fried rice, sautéed vegetables and a salad to start. For proteins, you will get, steak, shrimp and chicken - the huge plus about our booking is that we had left overs for almost 4 days after the event! Can't beat that!!! The food was absolutely delicious, juicy pieces of steak, chicken and shrimp. The fried rice?! So buttery and tasty! Everything was great. Not only do you get good food but you also get entertained by Chef Carlos, who was very personable and friendly. This was such a fun, interactive dinner that was enjoyed by my entire family! First off is that his mom often cooks (and she is really good) so to have a dinner at his own house where she felt like a guest was fabulous. Second ever course was so delicious. I highly recommend the mini cauliflower crust pizza apps..they were a hit. We had the best salad and I don't know what the dressing was but is was perfect and the beets were grilled deliciously.
