"Came here after finding Rice Theory was sold out and Tealicious was located in the same parking lot. We walked in and it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad before we were seated. Yelp said they were know for their roasted duck and roasted pork. We got the beef chow fun, roasted duck rice place, thin egg noodles with soy sauce, mango fruit tea, and taro milk tea. Took a while for all the dishes to come out. The duck came out first and the flavor was spot on! It was a little sweet but had a that nice roasted taste. Some of the pieces were more bone than meat which was disappointing. The chow fun came next and rice noodles were thick and soft. The thin egg noodles came last and was a little too greasy for me. The tea drinks were good but tasted like any other boba spot. Service was like your standard busy restaurant, a little messy and chaotic. The staff did their best to bring out the drinks and food quickly. It's nice to know a good roasted duck spot and we hope to be back!"
"Ordered from their menu instead of the AYCE, the spicy chicken, lamb stir fry and bulgogi were delicious. The staff was friendly and the food tasted great. Would come again"

"They have really good food and the customer service is really good, I appreciate that most of all and the environment is pretty relaxed. The food is full of flavors and I definitely can't wait for my next visit."
"Came here for lunch on a weekday, was not too busy so I didn't have to wait long for my table or food. Very clean modern interior with a TV and sushi bar seating.I ordered the seafood tempura since I rarely see Japanese restaurants that offer tempura other than prawns and veggies. This mix had fish, shrimp, scallop, imitation crab, green beans, onion, carrot, broccoli. Out of these, I would say I enjoyed the fish, shrimp, and broccoli the most. The portion was huge but I managed to eat all of it. It comes with a miso soup as well. This spot also has a raretea inside so I got a very refreshing peach tea to cool off."
"Stopped by on a Tuesday evening and it was empty. Service was good. I was not impressed with the tofu soup (Mushroom Soon Tofu), but I enjoyed the other items: Dolsot Bibimbap, Mandoo, Yangnyeom Chicken, Japchae, TongSamGyub Salad and L.A. Galbi. Of these, my favorites were the Mandoo and Yangnyeom Chicken. The Mandoo was huge! Side dishes were good as well. I'd return! (I'd just skip the tofu soup in the future.)"
"My boyfriend and I were visiting this place monthly because it was our favorite. A few months ago we returned and ordered the same thing we always do only to find out they changed the pork (and changed the way they cook it) in the tonkatsu red ramen. The staff is always great and very attentive. We never have to wait to be seated but unfortunately the change in meat was our dealbreaker."
"Midtown Dining [Sacramento CA]My daughter introduced us to this sushi restaurant located in Midtown. We don't come to Sacramento enough so it was a nice change of venue for dining. We were seated immediately. The menu can be scanned on the QR code but it's very tiny on the phone. Seeing how we were struggling to view the menu online were given a paper menu but we were told that the prices were not updated. We ordered the following:Wakame SaladBroadway RollTempura UdonBento Box - Teriyaki Salmon and Beef Teriyaki Food came quickly. The portions on my bento box were generous especially the salmon. The beef was tender and cut in perfect small bite size portions. The house salad was very good. The teriyaki sauce was spread evenly and both salmon and beef were tasty and flavorful. Daughter and husband also enjoyed their meals. The tempura that came with the udon was a large piece and came with mixed vegetable tempura pieces. Hubby said that the broth on the udon was a tad too salty for his taste. The food was a little pricey but even a casual dinner is expensive nowadays. The servers were great and very attentive. Review #3398"
"This is my favorite Chinese food in the area so good super affordable very quick to get your food ready only does pick up best Chinese food in the area"
"I ordered on Ubereats for a pick up but got there 4 minutes after they closed. They were still SO nice. Food was neatly packed and the take out boxes were loaded! We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the food before we started eating so the pictures are after we had ate some. Uber had 2 BOGO's for the restaurant, a Crunch roll and gyoza. Great deal! Rolls are expensive and you get one free, score in my book. Gyoza is a staple we always get so having more of those was also awesome! We also ordered the pick 2 combo with chicken katsu, pork katsu, chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken and they were all SMACKIN'! Everything was delish like for reals! My husband and I were SO full and happy!"
"Enjoyed a bowl of a 10piece beef dumpling soup. I opted for self service ordering since the gent at the register was taking a call in order. Service was quick and I was already sipping on soup and snapping these photos in a couple of minutes. Even on a warm day, I enjoyed having the soup. Requested chopsticks but soup spoon, fork, and napkins come when the tray is served. Would have loved to have tried some garlic chili oil but could not tell if any were any available, as there were no condiments on the tables. Fair pricing, the wrapper was a little thicker than I'm used to, and the meats were all uniform in taste, size, and texture. The soup was flavorful and beautifully garnished with tasty green and white onions. Very good soup, I almost finished it all. If you like noodles, you can order some on the side, but to me, the dumpling wrapper was all the extra noodle I would want. Was able to finish the bowl, but could have easily saved half for later. Looks like they would have lids and baggies readily available for to go. Satisfying, good taste, fast, would definitely go again. Not many places still open in this part of downtown, so the good ratings here are well deserved."
"I had a pretty great experience here, honestly! My son and I were shopping and decided to get a quick snack before dinner and so enter teriyaki madness! I always say that I have to do it for Yelp!Since it was just a snack before dinner, we decided to get the junior order of the chicken Katsu with rice and make it a meal so we could have the edamame to share. The restaurant was very busy with online orders so I will say we did have to wait over 20 minutes for our food. Considering they are a new restaurant and online orders are very popular right now. I would say that is reasonable. I would also guess that as they get into their groove, that Weight time will absolutely decrease. My son and I ate in our car outside of the restaurant because we were starving . They seemed pretty busy with walk-ins too! The food was super tasty. Chicken was crispy and just extremely flavorful. The dark meat chicken was cooked wonderfully. The chicken to rice ratio was more chicken than rice, but that's pretty par for the course at a restaurant. I liked that you have three different sizes of meals to order from. The cashier at the register actually made a recommendation to get the meal versus the dish with a side, to save money and still get the same items so that was super cool of her .We'll definitely try this place again"
"At first maybe it was the shock that the establishment had changed hands/my initial experiences just weren't the same when Twin Lotus Thai first took over, but I decided to give them another go because I figured they may have gotten things ironed out. I'm glad I did! I ordered:Avocado Curry w/ riceTomyum Goong SoupMango Sticky RiceThe avocado curry was the just the right amount of spice. Too often I say mild spice and get the extreme level of spice. This was spot on to my liking. The tomyum soup is a somewhat different style (but at least they are upfront that it's creamy). I definitely prefer the clear broth other establishments offer, but this is a good alternative as is slightly sweet but mostly savory; the other Thai places near me make super SWEET tomyum and it's not labeled correctly which was a shock. The mango sticky rice both in presentation and taste was perfect too. I did dine out for this meal, but next time I'll check out what service is like. I hear they have entertainment that I'm interested in checking out!"

We went here once pre-pandemic and the tableside kabob grilling was a cool experience, but somehow we never made our way back until now. Our friend picked this spot so we were expecting the kabobs. Much to our surprise it's actually an AYCE KBBQ spot now! They have two menu options at $34.99 or $39.99 so it's definitely on the pricier end compared to the other AYCE places in Sacramento. They do have quite a few non-BBQ options as a part of the menu, like cold noodles, cheesy ramen, tofu soups, rice cake, and more, so I think that does help justify the price range. The beef was all pretty good. We went with the B Menu because of the LA galbi but I'm glad we were also able to get the spicy rice cake. The ramen was also super yummy, and had a kick to it, I wish I knew what brand it was! I liked their meat dipping sauce as well. I wasn't a big fan of their banchan selection, it was pretty weak compared to other restaurants, but at least they had radish wrap. Service was okay, we were the only table in the restaurant but it still took some time for them to come back to take our order. There were two ladies but they were going around to tables looking or fixing something so it was hard to flag them down. I liked that they have dry erase markers for the menu so you can just mark what you want, but she kept taking our menus so we weren't able to mark stuff ahead of time. I think it was a tasty meal but I would rather go somewhere closer for cheaper price and for more meat selection. The extra food items are nice but I don't need to get those at an AYCE place.

I forgot how amazing this place is. Food was super delicious. We ordered late night take outs and it didn't disappoint. We ordered enough food to last us for 3 days. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Gave us all the fixings, sauces, pickled jalapeno, extra chilli oil.

3/15/2024 Friday. Ordered through GrubHub at around 12:30PM. The restaurant is not too far from where I live. 10 minute drive for the GrubHub driver, so not bad at all. The food seemed made to order. Oishiiiiiiii!4/5 stars. Bento Box Lunch for ONLY $12.95+!!!- Omg!!! It's hard to find bento boxes for this cheap now-a-days! I wouldv'e gave it 5/5 but some of the mixed tempura were soaked in teriyaki sauce, so it was a little soggy. Other than that, still crispy and every thing was DELICIOUS! I was full and satisfied with just eating half of it. The other half, I saved for my fiancé. - You get to choose 2 items for your lunch bento. It comes with salad and sweet dressing sauce, rice and a slice of orange. I wished it came with miso soup. I don't think they even make it here? Cause I didn't see an option to order it. The items I chose were: 1.) Regular Teriyaki. Flavorfully juicy and crispy parts from a charcoal grill. Teriyaki sauce is not too sweet. Just right!2.) Mixed Tempura. WOWWW!!! They give so much and huge portions, too!!! I didn't expect for them to give me 2 gyoza's lol. Idk if that's part of the Mixed Tempura entree or they added it for free?! 2 pieces of carrots, 2 pieces of green beans, 1 chunky broccolli, 1 huge onion ring, zucchini and 1 shrimp. I am super HAPPY =) 4/5 stars. Satori Special Sushi Roll $13.95+.- Inside the roll is shrimp tempura and snow crab. Outside of the roll is salmon, masago (smelt roe: edible tiny eggs of the capelin fish) and avocado. Yasss! Big sizes for an 8 piece roll! I would've gave it 5/5, but yiiiikesss they gave wayyy to much sweet mayo-type sauce. Over powering the authentic taste of each ingredient in the roll. Also, soaked the roll so much that it got soggy quick. Next time, I will ask for really light sauce. Other than that, DELICIOUS!One day, I need to check out the restaurant so I can update this review for their ambiance. Mos def will be ordering from this restaurant again. I'm glad I found a cheap sushi and bento spot! YeeeeeeeeHappy eat's ya'll =)

My go to ramen spot in Elk Grove. What can I say besides this place has a great vibe to it. I really enjoy the sense of style and it's not too busy and loud. Staff is always great and food comes out fast and consistent. I generally go with a bowl of ramen but this time I decided to experiment with the chashudon and WOW! The Chashu was always my favorite part of ramen but topped with rice and their sweet ginger glaze and I think I have found a new favorite. This place is a must try out in EG. Only issues is parking can be a bit rough out there and also they don't serve any alcoholic beverages. But that's a small price to pay for such a great ramen spot in EG

O-Toro is one of our favorite downtown sushi spots! The service is always friendly and quick, and we never wait long, even during busy times. The sushi is fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced, with a great variety of options. The ambiance is chill and low-key, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Highly recommend for sushi lovers looking for quality and great service in Downtown Sacramento!

Overall Lacking. I've never seen someone actually sit down in this place. Ordered lunch serving. Got a lunch serving. Was still hungry before the end of my Shift.Hate to say it, but Panda Express would have been better for the same price.

"The venue is small, tight and straight forward. Service was nice and attentive which was the best part of this experience. Unfortunately, the fried rice was bland and not Thai hot which was not what I was expecting. Parking is limited as well."
"The service is great very attentive, the food is amazing and this is a take out it came with 2 deliciouscrab rangoon.I had the lychee soda also good. It's a little too sweet for my liking but overall it's good. The aesthetical of the restaurant is very clean in a converted fast food kind of way."
"Beef brisket soup with the pork bone broth is delicious. I picked up food to go, and it was packaged well. The place was busy. But service was fast. Food was still warm when we got home. It was strange to have food in the lettuce. And there were some other veggies I didn't recognize. But it was good overall."
"My favorite Chinese gem in Sacramento on Freeport. I can't begin to tell you how this bowl of soup warms your soul after a long work day. Can get dry tossed or soup based noodles, but personally dry tossed is the way to go. Self serve pickled vegetables is what makes this dish and it's fun experimenting with what works. Each bowl comes with soup and can be used to mellow out your bowl if you went overboard on the toppings. I don't know Chinese but have always had luck reading the number of the dish (A1, A17, etc) to the cashier and they are always super nice and friendly to me. The place can get very crazy at peak lunch and dinner time so it can be a little chaotic so be mindful of what time you come in cause there may not be seats at times."
"I went to a new Pho place . It was his grand opening to the public. The chef Van has his first restaurant in Rancho Cordova. This is his second place. The place is a nice size. Not too big or small. Lots of tables with that new look. There is a bar with about eight seats. He is the only Pho place with 8 beers on tap. Van is famous for Vegan and vegetarian dishes. I asked him what I should have and he suggested the Oxtail pho. The broth was so flavorful. I loved it. The Oxtail was tender and so yummy. A little spicy, perfect. We got the porkbelly and it was cooked perfectly. Such good flavor. Also got the calamari which was good. I will have to come back and try more stuff."
"Excellent find! Cute restaurant with nice ambience and friendly staff.Very attentive to your needs, and we tried the tea leaf salad, the pumpkin curry, and the dry fried vegetables with rice and salad, and it was delicious . I can't wait to go back and try something else. The menu is huge and delicious..Please check it out for yourself"
"I ordered 22 with no noodles. The egg roll was clear wrap and deliciously crunchy. The portions were huge. It was very filling. Hole in the wall place with great food and nice service."
"January 14, 2025: I ordered Seafood Chow Mein, Duck Pho, and hot tea. The Seafood Chow Mein totally rocked--it was so hot, the seafood was tender, and fresh while Duck Pho's broth warmed my cold--the duck was so tender and juicy, the Pho jettisoned me into the ionosphere! Yup~I must scream at the top of my lungs while standing on an apple box proclaiming, "THE ENTIRE ORDER WAS THAT DELICIOUS, INDEED!!!!"Anyway . . . Like Ahnold Scwharzenegger promises, "Ahll beeee baaaaack!""
"Great new place! The Sacramento area is heavily lacking in quality ramen shops so this place was a welcome surprise. Even though its a meatless broth, the depth of flavor is pretty on point and similar to what we had when visiting Japan. We definitely recommend this place for ramen fans! The service was a bit slow but the store wasnt crowded when we went in."
"We drove all the way from Natomas to Folsom to try out Pho N' Roll, a restaurant located in the 99 Ranch Plaza. We had heard their Pho was amazing, and boy, was it! Steven, a friendly server (owner), greeted us, and the service was incredibly fast. The Pho was simply delicious, especially the broth. They offer a variety of condiments to enhance your experience. One item they have, but not on the table is pickle jalapeños--just ask for them! One thing that caught my attention was the size of the tendons in the Pho. They were huge, including the meat and noodle portions, they're not stingy! If you're not a fan of a lot of noodles, be sure to ask for less. I did just that, and the ratio of noodles to broth was perfect for me. I will give this a place a 10/10. We will be back for more!"
"This place hit the spot! The broth was solid and we even ordered the fries and they are a hit too. We came in with 25 people leaving Tahoe on Sunday morning, we were all able to get seated the waitresses were so nice to us and we got all our food promptly . It was exactly what we needed. Our coffee drinks came a little late and they said it was on the house since it took extra time. It was such a nice gesture that we weren't expecting since we were such a large group. Overall great food, amazing service and were super accommodating !!"
"Great place all around. Food is excellent and service is great. Been here a few times already and will definitely go back. Weve had varies pho and other dishes. All have been super good. Highly recommend."
"I've tasted at least three things on the menu and they are consistently prepared, presented and taste delicious! A favorite place to pick up lunch! I get their lemongrass chicken, tamarind wings, or the mango and shrimp salad. Incredible! Would recommend a visit to this gem!"
"Didn't expect anything from this small, simple noodle cafe behind Sushi Cafe. I ordered the Chashu Black Garlic Ramen- wow! The thick, rich, full flavored broth that clings to the fresh ramen was exactly what I was seeking. It was like I was back in Japan. The chashu was prepared accordingly. Floating atop hot, steaming broth topped with fresh cabbage. Oh so tasty. This is one of the better Ramen places in town. Family owned. The Tonkatsu Sandwich (tempura fried pork cutlet w/shredded marinated cabbage) between slices of fluffy Japanese Bread is unique to Soku. (Eat it hot n fresh out of kitchen! Follow up with ramen soup on a cold day....) P.S. Keep this place our secret. (If I have to wait next time, my bad.)"
"Hole in the wall vibes, but not actually a hole - once you go, you'll get it.Came here on a date night and there were tons of groups celebrating things. You have the option to eat inside or out, but even the outside feels like you're indoors because it's covered and enclosed. The service was fast, friendly, and informative. The menu is BIG but not overwhelming. For everything we ordered (chicken larp, deep fried crab and a beef curry) we went with a level 2 spice, and while I can take spicy food, I'm not sure I would have enjoyed anything higher than that lol it was just the right amountI can't wait to go back and try more."
"I've been coming here since I was a child! My absolute favorite are the pork spring rolls with peanut sauce! They don't compare to other restaurants, and I've tried many over the years. I always stop by for the pork rolls when I'm in town and take an order togo. For my meal, I love the vermicelli or soup."
"The place has decent amount of seatings and is well lit. The menu is not huge; which is a good sign (personally) for a local restaurant. They mainly focus on Thai/Japanese fusion dishes.Ordered: Karaage Chicken, Beef Pad See Ew, Pipo Curry RamenKaraage chicken is good. The batter is thin and seasoned well. The chicken is not dry and quite flavorful. The homemade dipping sauces are a great addition. The mayo/sriracha (assuming) sauce isn't dense. This light texture sauce is more enjoyable since the chicken is already deep fried. I like the sweet chili sauce because it adds a bit of sweetness to the chicken and balance out the flavor.Beef Pad See Ew is a bit salty for me, but it could just be only that time. I have to say the noodle and veggies are super flavored from the sauce. If it is less salty, it would be great. The beef is a bit dry, even with the sauce but it's not a dealbreaker. The server is very helpful in recommending spice level. There are 5 levels and I agree that level 2 is a comfortable spot. I'm not good with spice but level 2 isn't too bad.The Pipo Curry Ramen is delicious. The noodles are cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The egg is seasoned well and slightly runny. The broth is on the light side in comparison to other ramen places, but I think it worked out since the curry flavor is already bold. The chicken is thinly cut, which is different. However, I do wish it is a bit thicker to avoid tasted dry.I wouldn't mind trying other dishes next time I'm around the area."
"Party of 6 on a Monday night, put our name down on the waitlist before 7PM. Haven't been here in a minute but they are open later than the midtown location, with pretty much the same menu and better parking situation if you're willing to drive a little further south of Sacramento. I was so engaged in this group dinner that I neglected to snap any food photos at all, can you believe it? We did get the siumai, hargow, wontons with chili oil, chow fun beef with gravy, peking spare ribs, and green beans. Everything was tasty and easily shareable. Did not overdo it this time with ordering, usually there is enough for leftover to take home. We actually had room left for dessert and migrated over to Handel's across the parking lot."
"Had their pho, bun bo hue, and banh xeo. All were tasty! Service was nothing spectacular but I'm not complaining about it! Would come back."
"So good.So fresh.Truly delicious with excellent ingredients and definitely made with care. We tried the spring rolls and rice bowl. Looking forward to trying the rest!"
"I went with my friend for lunch. He said he wanted to try it out. I have never been here. The place is in a strip mall. We were able to park right in front. We were greeted right away and sat down. There were about three other tables with customers. It is an ok size place. My friend ordered for me and we both got the big rice plate. It had I think 4 different meats on it . It came with a broth to wash down all the meat. I loved it. The meats were really good. It came with an egg roll, laup chung, some pork and a fried patty with meat and crab in it. The rice had a soft boiled egg on it. A side salad and some dipping sauce. It all had a great flavor and we both could not finish all of our food. Doggy bag. Not a bad place at all. Will have to come by again."
"After returning from Chiang Mai, I was on the hunt for Kao Soi as flavorful and delicious as in Thailand. Other places make different variations but Baan is the spot!Seafood Kao Soi 5/5*The curry was on point! It was thick, creamy, and packed full of umami flavor. It's on the sweeter side and I liked that it didn't come spicy, so you can add however much heat to your liking with their spice rack. It had everything authentic to this dish - thick egg noodles soaked in curry sauce, thin egg noodles fried to crispy perfection, pickled veggies, and all the garnishments. We chose seafood as the protein, which came with calamari, shrimp, and a piece of fried fish. Although there was only one shrimp, it was so plump; wish there was more.Duck Noodle Soup 5/5*My #1 spot for duck noodle soup is in downtown, and I thought I would never find another duck soup with such a depth of duck flavor, but here it is. Baan is a very close competitor. The duck flavor shines and the broth is a cleaner, less fatty and less oily version of the one in downtown. They are not stingy with meat either. Meat to noodle ratio was perfect. It was weird there was celery versus bokchoy but that still didn't take away from the star of the show.Green Thai Tea 5/5*The cup was huge!!! You can tell it's freshly made from the various different layers of the tea, milk, and ice. Green Thai Tea has almost a mung bean flavor and way better than regular Thai tea imo.We devoured our soups, no boxes needed. Everything we tried today was packed with flavor. I can't wait to come back to try other dishes. Not sure if the lady outside was an independent seller or not, but there was also a table outside the restaurant selling Thai desserts to-go."
"First time to restaurant. Ordered chicken chow mien, barbecue pork buns and gyoza. All the dishes were very good. Lots of chicken in the dish. The steamed buns and gyoza very very tasty. The sauces that went with the dishes were excellent. Very busy traffic area and not too much parking available. I will definitely be going to this restaurant again."
