"Came here after finding Rice Theory was sold out and Tealicious was located in the same parking lot. We walked in and it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad before we were seated. Yelp said they were know for their roasted duck and roasted pork. We got the beef chow fun, roasted duck rice place, thin egg noodles with soy sauce, mango fruit tea, and taro milk tea. Took a while for all the dishes to come out. The duck came out first and the flavor was spot on! It was a little sweet but had a that nice roasted taste. Some of the pieces were more bone than meat which was disappointing. The chow fun came next and rice noodles were thick and soft. The thin egg noodles came last and was a little too greasy for me. The tea drinks were good but tasted like any other boba spot. Service was like your standard busy restaurant, a little messy and chaotic. The staff did their best to bring out the drinks and food quickly. It's nice to know a good roasted duck spot and we hope to be back!"

We were seated immediately. The menu can be scanned on the QR code but it's very tiny on the phone. Seeing how we were struggling to view the menu online were given a paper menu but we were told that the prices were not updated. We ordered the following:Wakame SaladBroadway RollTempura UdonBento Box - Teriyaki Salmon and Beef Teriyaki Food came quickly. The portions on my bento box were generous especially the salmon. The beef was tender and cut in perfect small bite size portions. The house salad was very good. The teriyaki sauce was spread evenly and both salmon and beef were tasty and flavorful. Daughter and husband also enjoyed their meals. The tempura that came with the udon was a large piece and came with mixed vegetable tempura pieces. Hubby said that the broth on the udon was a tad too salty for his taste. The food was a little pricey but even a casual dinner is expensive nowadays. The servers were great and very attentive. We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the food before we started eating so the pictures are after we had ate some. Uber had 2 BOGO's for the restaurant, a Crunch roll and gyoza. Great deal! Rolls are expensive and you get one free, score in my book. Gyoza is a staple we always get so having more of those was also awesome! We also ordered the pick 2 combo with chicken katsu, pork katsu, chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken and they were all SMACKIN'! Everything was delish like for reals! My husband and I were SO full and happy!"

"Enjoyed a bowl of a 10piece beef dumpling soup. I opted for self service ordering since the gent at the register was taking a call in order. Service was quick and I was already sipping on soup and snapping these photos in a couple of minutes. Even on a warm day, I enjoyed having the soup. Requested chopsticks but soup spoon, fork, and napkins come when the tray is served. Would have loved to have tried some garlic chili oil but could not tell if any were any available, as there were no condiments on the tables. Fair pricing, the wrapper was a little thicker than I'm used to, and the meats were all uniform in taste, size, and texture. The soup was flavorful and beautifully garnished with tasty green and white onions. Very good soup, I almost finished it all. If you like noodles, you can order some on the side, but to me, the dumpling wrapper was all the extra noodle I would want. Was able to finish the bowl, but could have easily saved half for later. Looks like they would have lids and baggies readily available for to go. Satisfying, good taste, fast, would definitely go again. Not many places still open in this part of downtown, so the good ratings here are well deserved."

"I had a pretty great experience here, honestly! My son and I were shopping and decided to get a quick snack before dinner and so enter teriyaki madness! I always say that I have to do it for Yelp!Since it was just a snack before dinner, we decided to get the junior order of the chicken Katsu with rice and make it a meal so we could have the edamame to share. The restaurant was very busy with online orders so I will say we did have to wait over 20 minutes for our food. Considering they are a new restaurant and online orders are very popular right now. I would say that is reasonable. I would also guess that as they get into their groove, that Weight time will absolutely decrease.My son and I ate in our car outside of the restaurant because we were starving . They seemed pretty busy with walk-ins too! The food was super tasty. Chicken was crispy and just extremely flavorful. The dark meat chicken was cooked wonderfully. The chicken to rice ratio was more chicken than rice, but that's pretty par for the course at a restaurant. I liked that you have three different sizes of meals to order from. The cashier at the register actually made a recommendation to get the meal versus the dish with a side, to save money and still get the same items so that was super cool of her .We'll definitely try this place again"

Too often I say mild spice and get the extreme level of spice. This was spot on to my liking. The tomyum soup is a somewhat different style (but at least they are upfront that it's creamy). I definitely prefer the clear broth other establishments offer, but this is a good alternative as is slightly sweet but mostly savory; the other Thai places near me make super SWEET tomyum and it's not labeled correctly which was a shock. The mango sticky rice both in presentation and taste was perfect too. I did dine out for this meal, but next time I'll check out what service is like. I hear they have entertainment that I'm interested in checking out!"

"My favorite Chinese gem in Sacramento on Freeport. I can't begin to tell you how this bowl of soup warms your soul after a long work day. Can get dry tossed or soup based noodles, but personally dry tossed is the way to go. Self serve pickled vegetables is what makes this dish and it's fun experimenting with what works. Each bowl comes with soup and can be used to mellow out your bowl if you went overboard on the toppings. I don't know Chinese but have always had luck reading the number of the dish (A1, A17, etc) to the cashier and they are always super nice and friendly to me. The place can get very crazy at peak lunch and dinner time so it can be a little chaotic so be mindful of what time you come in cause there may not be seats at times."

"I went to a new Pho place . It was his grand opening to the public. The chef Van has his first restaurant in Rancho Cordova. This is his second place. The place is a nice size. Not too big or small. Lots of tables with that new look. There is a bar with about eight seats. He is the only Pho place with 8 beers on tap. Van is famous for Vegan and vegetarian dishes. I asked him what I should have and he suggested the Oxtail pho. The broth was so flavorful. I loved it. The Oxtail was tender and so yummy. A little spicy, perfect. We got the porkbelly and it was cooked perfectly. Such good flavor. Also got the calamari which was good. I will have to come back and try more stuff."

The server is very helpful in recommending spice level. There are 5 levels and I agree that level 2 is a comfortable spot. I'm not good with spice but level 2 isn't too bad.The Pipo Curry Ramen is delicious. The noodles are cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The egg is seasoned well and slightly runny. The broth is on the light side in comparison to other ramen places, but I think it worked out since the curry flavor is already bold. The chicken is thinly cut, which is different. However, I do wish it is a bit thicker to avoid tasted dry.I wouldn't mind trying other dishes next time I'm around the area."

Haven't been here in a minute but they are open later than the midtown location, with pretty much the same menu and better parking situation if you're willing to drive a little further south of Sacramento. I was so engaged in this group dinner that I neglected to snap any food photos at all, can you believe it? We did get the siumai, hargow, wontons with chili oil, chow fun beef with gravy, peking spare ribs, and green beans. Everything was tasty and easily shareable. Did not overdo it this time with ordering, usually there is enough for leftover to take home. We actually had room left for dessert and migrated over to Handel's across the parking lot."

It came with a broth to wash down all the meat. I loved it. The meats were really good. It came with an egg roll, laup chung, some pork and a fried patty with meat and crab in it. Other places make different variations but Baan is the spot!Seafood Kao Soi 5/5*The curry was on point! It was thick, creamy, and packed full of umami flavor. It's on the sweeter side and I liked that it didn't come spicy, so you can add however much heat to your liking with their spice rack. It had everything authentic to this dish - thick egg noodles soaked in curry sauce, thin egg noodles fried to crispy perfection, pickled veggies, and all the garnishments. We chose seafood as the protein, which came with calamari, shrimp, and a piece of fried fish. Although there was only one shrimp, it was so plump; wish there was more.Duck Noodle Soup 5/5*My #1 spot for duck noodle soup is in downtown, and I thought I would never find another duck soup with such a depth of duck flavor, but here it is. Baan is a very close competitor. The duck flavor shines and the broth is a cleaner, less fatty and less oily version of the one in downtown. They are not stingy with meat either. Meat to noodle ratio was perfect. It was weird there was celery versus bokchoy but that still didn't take away from the star of the show.Green Thai Tea 5/5*The cup was huge!!! You can tell it's freshly made from the various different layers of the tea, milk, and ice. Green Thai Tea has almost a mung bean flavor and way better than regular Thai tea imo.We devoured our soups, no boxes needed. Everything we tried today was packed with flavor. I can't wait to come back to try other dishes. Not sure if the lady outside was an independent seller or not, but there was also a table outside the restaurant selling Thai desserts to-go."
