I've been coming here for years now. When I went in before labor to get my toes and nails done, they were all so excited for me. Kim-le (who I had gone to for years for my acrylics) was so cute and would rub my belly when I came in lol One of the newer girls I went to the last time was so sweet and talked to me the whole time she was doing my nails about her daughter and her experiences with motherhood. "1/19/2023: Called around 915am. Spoke to Kelly. Asked bout how much Acrylic Removal is and she said $10. Asked bout Gel Manicure, she said gel manicure and acrylic removal is $35 altogether. I booked an appointment at 1pm with Kelly.They greeted me, asked me if I had an appt and with who- then sat me right away. They asked me if it had to be with Kelly and I said no. First gal helped me and started to take off my acrylics (right hand). I thought she was going to soak it but she did not. I was lowkey scared it was going to hurt but she was gentle and did not hurt at all. Thank goodness! Lol. She finished with my right hand and told me that someone else will continue with me. Her name was Tammy. She was very nice and calm. I liked how gentle she was with my hands. When she took off my acrylics in my left hand, it did hurt tho. I took the pain and let it go. Had a nice conversation. She took her time and made sure no nail polish got on my skin. She, also, massaged my hands for a few seconds. It was mostly a relaxing experience. Tammy charged me $40 when Kelly said $35 on the phone. It's ok. I gave Tammy $7 tip. I used cash so they gave me a cash reward card: 1 stamp for services $30- $99. 2 stamps for services $100 or more. Get all 10 stamps, receive $25 off any pedicure services. Only good for if you pay cash.I forgot to take a pic of their prices. Hopefully next time:) nails ya'll"

"I was shopping around this shopping center. I needed to get my nails done . I saw this cute nail shop and decided to give them a try . I saw on Yelp they were open pretty late till 8pm so I definitely had time . I walked in and got greeted by a lovely lady that told me to sign in and have a seat. The inside is big and really nice they even have a private area for small parties to get thier pedicures in a private setting. This place is pretty big they even have a great amount of kids pedicure chairs . When I first sat down they handed me a bar and snack menu. Which the items are complementary with your visit. The bar menu offers a 6oz of wine or champagne. They also offer beers and nonalcoholic drinks. The snack menu consist of cookies , chips , protein bars and candy . So you get to unwind get your pedi or nails with a glass of wine pretty sweet . Tracy was my nail tech she did an amazing job on my nails . I got dip powder red nails for Christmas with a design on one finger of each hand . They came out so cute and professionally done. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here and I'm loving the way my nails look."

Was sitting next door at Starbucks, saw this little joint and took advantage. I'm glad I did cause as Mary and Joseph are my witness, these busted toes needed it. I was the only one getting a pedicure. One lady on the nails. 2 workers, I guess this places doesn't pick up until folks get out. Came here at 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon. $45 for a pedi, they gave 15% off till 11/20. Place is clean. They understand social ques as in death stare when they dig a little too deep. I swear I'm not ticklish but the way she scrubbed the bottoms of my feet had me kicking like Charlie Murphy. The massage is good. Overall a great place. Happy feet."

"This is such a crazy time that we are living in. COVID 19 has everybody wiping out every department store's essential items... Im talking about the items that are NEEDED to prevent ourselves from the contamination...masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, lysol wipes, etc. Important stuff, and I can't find it anywhereI practically have stopped by every department store in all of my surrounding areas and they all have been out of stock. I also have been checking back and fourth, even on the days when they get their shipments in the morning. But they are always all gone by the time I get off of work. Good thing Blue Sky Beauty Supply is still open during this crazy era!!! I actually saw a random person with a cool disposal black mask on, so of course, I asked him how did he get it. He told me to stop by this warehouse in North Highlands because not only do they carry masks, they also have many other things. So of course my face lit up since I am in need of buying these essential items ASAP. He also mentioned they have masks in a variety of colors. I am so glad I stopped by!!! The owners that worked there were so nice and friendly. They showed me the different options they have. From sizes to colors then to brands. Most importantly, I liked that they had a whole shelf full of hand sanitizers. This warehouse is actually a beauty supply store. I ended up getting tools to do my nails at home too (theres a first time for everything Lol) The owners there gave me good recommendations on what I should buy because I had no clue. I love that they carry alot of different things here.Overall, their price ranges are a bit cheaper than other places. I'm so glad I stopped by, and I appreciate them for still being open during such a crazy time. So thank you for that. And most importantly, I want to give them a 10/10 on customer service. They went above and beyond to answer all my questions, I was suprised how patient they were. You have to stop by, support your small businesses!"

"Happy cuts to the rescue! Due to this horrible pandemic, I was struggling to find a hair salon that was open! Most barbers are booked and many hair salons are closed! I took a chance and called Happy cuts and They answered the phone which means they are OPEN! Helen is the one who was working she informed me she could take me in 15 minutes which was perfect because I work 10 minutes from the salon! When i arrived, she was cutting another gentleman's hair OUTSIDE. Yes, Helen set up a chair outside so she can cut clients hair! Now, it is not the same as a normal salon hair but it works! Helen sanitized all the hair tools and the Chair before she cut my hair! I requested for a medium skin fade with a 5 on top! Helen did a great job and I will return! Helen is working 7 days a week so big respect to her AND she's the only one working! Also, bring cash because they are not taking credit card which is a little weird to me! Regular hair cuts are $17 and a skin fade is $20! Not bad pricing....Overall, I was satisfied!"

I can't believe how much time she took to care for my cuticles and soften my hands and feet. What I really appreciated is that she sanded a bit off the top of my nails since I have some tiny lines and ridges. No other salon or tech has taken that much time and effort as Lynn! Plus she gave me the best massage on my hands and feet, I wanted to sleep in the chair! . "Located behind McDonalds on Sunset. Same center as Don Quixote's.My mom was visiting so I thought it'd be fun and relaxing to get pedicures together. This is Mom's 3rd ever pedicure. It was also a treat for me since I usually do my own pedicures at home nowadays, to save money. But since it's hotter weather now, thought it'd be good to have my toenails professionally painted. Wanted to make an appointment for sometime between 10:30-10:45am, but the employee asked if I could come at 11am instead, so I wouldn't have to wait. I said, no problem. Got a text confirmation immediately after, with the address of their salon. Seemed like a nice touch, so customers don't accidentally go to the wrong location or forget their appointment time. We arrived around 10:55am. Two employees inside the building, working on one customer. A few minutes later, another (younger) employee arrived. The younger employee worked on my mom and seemed pleasant. Offered us some small bottles of water. However, around 11:10am a young girl arrived and said she had an 11am appointment. She was asked to have a seat and choose a color, relax,'etc. I could feel the younger employee rushing my mom's pedicure since the other employees seemed to not be finishing anytime soon. I noticed the employee working on my pedicure didn't seem to be the most precise. There are some nail salon workers who are perfectionists, and others who do a hasty job. She was the latter. I had to ask her to fix a few areas that she had missed with the nail polish. And trust me, I'm not usually that picky about my toenails--which is why I usually can get by with at-home pedicures. Decided to be fancy and do a flower like I used to do all the time in my younger days. Big mistake. The flowers looked uneven and a mess. She had already spent quite some time trying to fix them to look more even, but the more she tried, the worse it got. I didn't want to be a karen and have her do it all over again either. She seemed to know that it looked pretty bad, though she wasn't able to say much. Just kinda did an embarrassed laugh as she tried to fix it. My mom, who had finished super early, was growing tired of waiting. I explained the uneven, weird-looking flowers but my mom said nobody is going to notice my toes anyways (lol). So I just let it go. Also felt bad because it seemed like the employee only had use of one eye. The other was closed or swollen. Probably has issues with depth perception. Decided to just pay and leave instead of trying to get the flowers to be my liking. Basic pedicures are $35. There is a Yelp discount but the employee who rang me up didn't seem to know what it was. She ended up giving the discount anyways. Might be a change of ownership deal, since their parking lot sign still says "Tresor Nails." Maybe the Yelp $5 off offer was for the previous business. So many nail salons out there with better pedicures so it looks like we won't be back to this one."
