"We usually go for margaritas, chips and salsa, and appetizers on the patio. Today we had margaritas, chips and salsa, and lunch on the patio. I'm usually leary of ordering chili verde as it can differ a great deal from restaurant to restaurant. I threw caution to the wind, and ordered a chile verde burrito, mojado style. I was blown away! That was among the best restaurant chili verde I've had.I'll be returning again for more!"
"While Carmelita's is not my favorite Mexican restaurant, it always hits the spot. While in the area to get my hair done, we decided to stop in for some lunch. The inside has an authentic feel with plenty of seating plus an outdoor patio area. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders then brought us some chips, salsa and bean dip. My daughter is a huge fan of their bean dip, but I was not a fan of their chips. They just always seem too hard for my liking. We ordered the Fajitas Burrito, Classic Burrito with Shrimp and a side of rice and beans. The burritos were huge, but tasted great. The portions are huge so we usually end of taking leftovers home. I've tried other dishes during other visits and I am always left satisfied and full. They have a kids menu, vegetarian options plus lots of drink to choose from. They have great margaritas as well!"

"Woohoo the best Mexican joint in Folsom. Whenever, someone visits, I will take them here.On weekdays they have lunch specials. I always get the carnitas plate - extra well done for their meat and sub the veggies in for extra rice. My friends order the burritos and would always have enough to bring homeI also order a side of flan. The chips are insanely good!On my lazy days I DoorDash La Fiesta for brunch and it still hits the spot so well.If you're in town, you gotta try this place . Super authentic and affordable!Next to fed ex on East bidwell."
"Florez came well recommended by folks on Nextdoor and local Facebook groups and they did not lie. Easy parking, great service, and delicious food! Fantastic portions as well for a fair price. I usually get the three items option and split one with my husband. I've tried and have enjoyed the tamale, flauta, and quesadilla. My husband usually gets the menudo. Restaurant has been decently busy each time we've visited, but never long enough where we'd have to wait for a table. There's also a heated outdoor patio available."
"More than just a taqueria! Features full menu of authentic delicious Mexican dishes.Notably more popular in the daytime than evening/nighttime (not sure why though)Food:Chilaquiles - 5/5 - red sauce, not spicy but still delicious; their style is to mix scrambled egg into it Huevos rancheros - 4/5 - good but definitely have had better Breakfast burrito - 4.5/5 - large and hearty portion size Pozole - 5/5 - super delicious; very tasty broth with complete ingredients; highly recommended Mole - 5/5 - nice slices of whole chicken and perfect mole sauce; definitely a must have for fans of moleQuesabirria tacos - 5/5 - delicious especially with the consumePork chile verde - 5/5 - another delicious option tender pork and green salsaPlato de 2 huaraches - 5/5 - excellent, authentic and flavorfully delicious Ambience:Pretty simple design with indoor and outdoor seating Service:Order at the front register"
"Probably the best taqueria in Sacramento.Their menu is extensive and there's an option for everyone. I really like their street tacos. They are very generous with portions and two tacos can basically be four. The jumbo burritos are just that - jumbo. You can easily share it. I really like that their salsa bar is still self serve and they offer limes, radishes, peppers, etc. The service is so quick. After ordering, you can go wash your hands or grab salsas and then your food is ready. The space is also very large so it's perfect for big groups too."
"I've always wanted to try this place but was never really a priority because I hate pretentious semi 3rd world food.If I can go to a street taco guy for tacos and get them for $2, why would I consider paying more? That being said, this place is actually mostly worth it. Although a still on the pricier side, it could have been worse, but the food was actually delicious. The whole table got the taco combo, which is 4 tacos of two different types of meat for a little more than if you got 3 of the same tacos. Come with a nice sized side of rice and beans making the meal actually filling....even though the tacos are tiny. The aguachile was amazing. Although I wish they would cut up the shrimp into smaller pieces. When you're sharing and the entire thing had massive pieces of whole shrimp it kind of makes it difficult to share. Flavor was awesome though. So much so that we were scooping the juice into our tacos.Salsas were nice although I felt like none had any real heat to them.At Happy Hour prices, this place is amazing and would highly recommend to try. At regular price it's a nice place to dine with a good intimate ambiance, but without wrecking your wallet."
"Now that I am having to come downtown again for work I might as well make the best of it trying out all the restaurants near my job! I came here for lunch with all my coworkers, there was a large group of us, and surprisingly it was not busy here. It was a Monday around 12-12:30 pm. You order at the register and then they come out with your food and drinks. Easy casual dining. The customer service was excellent and extremely helpful. Again, coming with a large group all our meals were freshly made and we were each served within less than 5 minutes of placing our orders. Exceptional!!! The restaurant is on the smaller side, nonetheless, plenty of seating options were available. From patio, to bar top, booths, and smaller tables with chairs. I ordered the Nachos Libre which is offered from the apps section. Me thinking it'd be a small portion boy was I wrong. This was definitely a meal within itself and could easily be shared amongst two people! Huge bang for your buck with this meal. Amazing flavors and the chicken was super tender and juicy. Hands down will revisit agin the future."
"Stopped by this local Chando's on Pleasant Grove late Wednesday afternoon during their weekday 3-6 PM Happy Hour. Fantastic service, great food, generous servings, and very nice employees working both at the cashier's position and in food preparation. We ordered fish tacos, adobada tacos, a burrito, and chicken flautas, along with drinks. Each of the tacos were stuffed with tasty ingredients, the burrito was easily enough for two meals, and the flautas was excellent. Fresh ingredients, generous amounts of guacamole, perfectly seasoned meats, and simply delicious Mexican food. Plenty of chips with the meal, too. Chando's has a self-serve salsa bar with numerous options to flavor the food the way you want plus very fresh Pico de Gallo to top it all off. I don't know how the meal could have been any better. The food was ready in a bit over five minutes once the order was placed and all items were made exactly as requested. Chando's always has a daily special along with weekday Happy Hour discounts allowing diners to enjoy very high quality food at great prices if you take advantage of these deals. A very enjoyable and filling early dinner with excellently prepared Mexican food that tasted truly authentic. Thanks for the care in preparation and quality of the ingredients. I have enjoyed visiting Chando's since about 2010 at their original Sac. location along with their newer stores and the service and food has been consistently very good.A+++"
"I've only been here a handful of times in the last 15 years, and the most recent time was earlier this month for my brother's birthday. The customer service was excellent. The food took a very long time to come out, but they kept refilling our water and chips and salsa while we waited. The food was extremely flavorful. I took too long to post this review, so I don't remember the exact name of my fish. However, it was pork with a sweet potato tamale (phenomenal) and it had chunks of pineapple. It was a very unique dish -- inspired by Yucatán I believe.Everyone was happy with their food. Their margarita pitcher was decently priced. The ceviche was so refreshing and the chips and salsa were fresh and addicting.I liked that they had a fall specials menu too (photographed). I will be back soon!"
"Loved our first experience here! Upon entrance, we were originally told a 30 minute wait was what we would be waiting, which was expected for a Saturday night. We waited maybe 10 minutes, which our toddlers appreciated! We were sat and they brought waters and chips/dips for the table before our server Alex L made it over to greet us. Which he did right after the chips and waters were sat down. He asked us if we had been in before, had any allergies or things he should know before we ordered. Once ordered, our drinks were quickly delivered and then before we could even order anything for food the GM brought over a complimentary appetizer (chicken tinga tostadas were yum!) since we had never been in before. Our server was knowledgeable on the menu when we asked questions. We ordered our food, and before we could even ask he kindly split our kiddos food into two for them to share since we only needed one kid's menu item. The food arrived quickly and everything was correct! Steak tacos, Fresa Salad and Steak Quesadilla were all very good. We loved every item we ordered and one kiddo even cleared his entree (beans and rice were a huge serving too!). The service was super fast and impeccable in accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised with how attentive everyone was, not just our server. Highly recommend, especially if you want a somewhere they will sing happy birthday to you!"
"Great service, attention to our children, and food. The best experience we had in any restaurant in a while. Prompt seating, hot food, perfect amount of attention from our server, Gloria!"

I had the tacos dorados and they were delicious! Best I've had at a Mexican restaurant. My mom had the queso fundido which was also soooooo yummy! The food is def authentic. The service was great, I believe our server was new which is why we waited a little longer but we had the salsa and chips to wait that were also very delicious. We aren't from the area but we will def be coming back when we are in town! I love the way it was decorated & all the Frida pictures. Ambiance was great.

EVERYTHING about this place is AMAZING! From the staff to the food to the drinks... you will not be disappointed. This is our go-to spot when we want a margarita and Mexican food. Once you're seated, they'll bring over chips, salsa, and black bean dip. I recommend sitting at the bar. Their bartenders are awesome and fun to talk to. There's a tv if you want to catch a game. They offer food and margaritas TO-GO, just ask. PARKING: street parking and at times, it takes a while to find a spot. Be patient, it's worth it.

Wow I was searching for something to eat in this area. My mom and I come over here shopping quite a bit. We wanted to try something new when I found this place Now I have an even bigger reason to come over than HomeGoods. Lots of laughs. You really can't beat the lunch specials. When it cost you less than it does at McDonald's or Burger King and you get more food and healthier food you wonder how the fast food places stay in biz.My mom shrimp was awesome. It came with five flour tortillas, rice beans, and a salad. The chili Verde is tart and spicy pinto beans with a ton of amazing cheese and the enchiladas were awesome. They offered us a sample of the chili Verde, which I thought was a nice touch so that you really enjoy what you get. generous portions and one of the best parts of this restaurant is the incredible salsa bar which you can serve at your disposal along with fresh chips. We will be back

I dined at Glorez Bar & Grill this afternoon, for my girlfriends sister birthday lunch with friends amd family. We had a party of about 30 people, so our entire party was given the outdoor patio area to dine in. Being that it was Winter I wasn't sure how cold it would be outside, but the outdoor patio was fine. Especially with the portable heaters that they provided and bit by our tables. Most guests were there when we arrived but a few more trickled in after. Which gave us time to look over the menus before orders started being taken. Once our waiter arrived our orders started being quickly taken for meals and drinks. And it wasn't long before everything started arriving with a team of people.Drinks:POM Margarita PalomaFood:Empanadas CarnitasAbondigasSuper BurritoThere must've been at least 5 people in total, brings food and drinks to each table which was done so smoothly. And the food was de-lic-ious!I haven't had Abondogas in so long, but it smelled so good just from it being set at our table. So I knew it would be good; and the same was true for the Carnitas Empanadas. The smokieness and light spice of the sauce, put them over the top.SPECIAL NOTE: Sometimes after eating and socializing, someone dressed as the Grinch came in a Santa suit and hat to pay us a visit. He made his way to the birthday girl and greeted her, and took pictures with her and her friends. He garnered so much attention while with our party, that some other guests came our to see and take pictures of him. My gf's sister's friends we so excited to see him and greet him and take pictures with him, which was so nice to see. After leaving we all wondered who he was as they left in the same way they he came. After some minutes our waiter came back to check in on us, and I remembered the Christmas hat. And soon realized our waiter was the one who snuck off to play the Grinch for our party.Overall:Absolutely delicious food, and amazing staff. Thank you to all of them, especially our waiter for going above and beyond for our visit and my girlfriends sister and her birthday lunch. It was more than we could've asked for or expected.

I came here with a girlfriend for happy hour. We split nachos and had two tacos each with a margarita. Food was amazing and service was great. It gets busy for happy hour and now I know why. The ambiance was cool. The music was perfect I danced the entire time while there. Well come back soon

Delayed review but I came here last weekend to finally try their street tacos. The pastor and pollo asado tacos were so good, the asada was too but I preferred the other 2. Great quality food I'm excited to go back and try their burrito next time. This place is pretty big but was packed when I went, but once you order the food comes out fast.

My friend and I wanted to try this relatively new upscale Mexican (less than a year old) restaurant nearby the Roseville Galleria mall. The blurb I had read promised innovative and authentic cuisine. We ordered a variety of items and while everything was OK, nothing stood out as spectacular or crave-worthy. There were also some issues with temperature. 411 on the food: Our order:Salsa (four offerings) and chips $5Nachos ($10)Chicken Tacos ($16) -served with refried beans and rice) Steak with chimichuri sauce) $37; also with beans and rice MocktailChurros with caramel and Mexican chocolate sauce ($11) I was a little baffled with the salsa platter. Not sure why the pickled red onions were there (after reading the reviews it's also a salsa, but one you need a fork for...) One of the salsas was roaring hot, none were particularly enjoyable. The chips were stone cold and thick cut yellow corn, but despite these flaws were not bad. The nachos used the same chips with refried beans, the green salsa, and an unusual pinkish orange cheese sauce garnished with crema and Cotija cheese. We agreed the cheese sauce was strange in appearance and taste. It was also congealed and cold. If we ate around the cheese, the other elements were fine. But isn't the cheese sauce the main point of nachos? Entrees arrived and this aspect was my favorite. I tried to pick up my taco and the tortilla fell apart, so it is a knife and fork taco. Odd but it tasted good. However, be aware you are getting four tiny street tacos. The chicken was marinated with a delicious flavor (I'm guessing tequila and lime) but the total protein was probably one chicken tenderloin. The toppings- romaine, cilantro, red onion, pico served on the side- tasty. I make my own pico de gallo (Roma tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, line juice, and salt) and I've had people rave about it, and I'm just going to say...mine is better and I don't run a restaurant. That being said, I was a member of the clean plate club. My friend enjoyed her steak and sauce, which looked delicious, so I was happy for her. We both agreed the sides - refried beans were tasty but also not warm when arrived- and the rice tasted like just rice. After one bite- not worth the carbs. We indulged in the churros for dessert and agreed the Mexican chocolate sauce for dipping was incredible. The churros were tasty, but I thought a bit too greasy. There was an ample ring of oil on the churro perimeter which indicates the oil temp for frying was too low. But, they were freshly made and we enjoyed the sweet end to our meal. The atmosphere: I had made a reservation and was able to choose patio seating or indoors. The indoor seating is rather dark and has loud music. There were lights added as it got dark lending a disco vibe. I went with the patio even though it was 92 degrees F in Roseville in the evening. 10 degrees higher than my 'hood in S. Sac...the asphalt and no trees thing definitely hits here. Since we were a party of two we were placed way at the edge, very far from the fans outdoors....and it didn't really cool us down. However, I definitely preferred the outdoors as my friend and I wanted to catch up and we can talk a LOT...and the music was lower volume outdoors. The space is dominated by a huge bar which I'm sure offers the 60 plus tequilas they specialize in. The front staff was very cordial. Our waitress was phenomenal and made our dining experience stellar. So the service aspect is definitely there. Our complaint (and my friend and I agreed) is that the food was not outstanding. There were issues with temperature and the taste profiles were not what we expected, particularly with the appetizers. The service was great, the restaurant was run well, the restrooms were spotless. The environment is not conducive for quiet conversation but seems perfect for a convivial group enjoying lots of drinks with a side of food. The voices definitely got loud as the night went on. I know my Mexican brother in law would be laughing at what we paid for dinner, but we had an overall good experience but it's not likely we would come back for dinner. Looks like a perfect place for Happy Hour and the patio is a great asset to this location.

The flavors is so good. We came during lunch. You order first, and they give you a number. You can pick wherever you like to sit. The place is nice and clean. I would definitely come back and try something else.

"This place has outside seating, fair prices and authentic food. The crispy chicken tacos were really good and the papa burrito was okay (alittle too mushy for me- i want to taste the fries and steak more). I'll definitely come back to try their "famous" burger."
"I tried the adobada and asada street tacos on my lunch break Thursday, both were good and I recommend them! 5 stars for those 2 tacos but I can't speak on the rest of the menu and only recommend what I ordered. The service was very fast and friendly here, lots of tables inside as well. Plenty of parking too. I recommend stopping by here sometime."
"Last week, I was scrolling through the Chita's menu on Yelp while doing laundry nearby at Love. I could remember old school Yelpers raving about Chita's years ago, and the ratings were still high.Even better, their wet burrito with carne asada was several dollars cheaper than the one from my favorite taqueria in Folsom. Sold. I walked right over to Chita's to order a wet burrito with carne asada, to go, as well as a tamarind Jarritos. When I was paying, the woman behind the counter asked me if I wanted salsa cups. "Yes please!" I always want salsa cups.I didn't notice until after I had paid that chips were sold on the side for $1.50 extra. I should have ordered some, but didn't. My food didn't take very long to come out at all. I walked it back to my spot, and cut right into the middle. The first things I saw were carne asada, guacamole, rice, and pico de gallo-- and I saw a LOT of guacamole. Perfect. The burrito was (by definition) drenched in red sauce, so I wasn't really able to try any of the rest of the salsa with it. I still tried a little of the avocado sauce, and thought it was good, but a little watery. The ingredients on the inside of the burrito were all great. The carne asada and guacamole were top notch for a taqueria at this price point. I liked the red sauce that topped the burrito, but not as much as the sauce at my favorite taqueria chain. The portion size was a bit smaller, but I'm never able to finish the entire burrito at my favorite place, anyway. The customer service was great. The woman who helped me was very friendly. The inside of the shop was clean, but not sparkling. I would definitely love to come back to Chita's to try more of their menu items in the future."
"Visited again yesterday, consistently amazing food and friendly service. Never a bad experience."
"La Placita is long standing neighborhood restaurant in Orangevale. For the past 34 years, they have been serving up basic, simple, delicious Mexican food. The kind that was popularized in the States in the 1970s. The food and the place is not trendy nor fru fru fancy. The dishes are old school, comfort at prices at reasonable prices. The customer service is phenomenal.Every time I dine here, which is not that frequent , I am welcomed like a long lost friend. I feel very at ease and welcomed here. The clientele is diverse. This place has an easy going family friendly local neighborhood vibe. Again this place is not much to look at from the outside nor the inside. The shopping strip looks sketch but I have had no issues. The inside is basic old school table and booths. Dining room is one big open room with tables set close to each other. Not really conducive for privacy. The noise level can get loud once it gets filled which is all the time during peak dining time. The food... well I noticed folks either like it or don't. Hubs grew up with this type of food from his childhood. He luvs the food here, at La Placita, ... tacos, enchiladas, tamales, chile rellenos... all of it including the beans, rice, and salsa roja. The food and flavors are reminiscent to that generation of cuisine. I on the other hand am one of the folks that find the food filling, simple, and comforting. Not so much a gastronomical delight. My favorite item is the ground beef enchilada. Yummy ground beef, with chopped onions, baked in a corn tortilla in red sauce. Also being lactose intolerant, I have to remember to ask for no shredded cheese on top of the refried beans and entrees because they are generous with the cheese. The complimentary chips are served with a mild and a spicy hot version of salsa roja. I like the mild version. The spicy one is too woohoo spicy for me. The staff makes sure the chips, salsa, and drinks were filled. I rarely saw the bottom of the chip basket, salsa bowls, and my water glass."
"Lalo's, a hidden gem, surprises with its outstanding Mexican cuisine. The unassuming exterior belies the exceptional dining experience within. Welcomed promptly upon arrival, we were given the freedom to choose our seats. The service was swift, with our orders promptly taken. I opted for the chile relleno, which surpassed all expectations - not overly fried, and the accompanying sauce was impeccable. The pastor and buche tacos were generously filled and deliciously juicy. My husband enjoyed a sizable wet burrito, and the portion sizes were impressively generous. The horchata struck the perfect balance - not overly sweet, yet delightfully flavorful. Remarkably, all this culinary excellence comes at an affordable price."
"Barria tacos with chips, salsa and water. Yummy food, friendly and great customer service and nice place to spend taco Tuesday. Clean, great seats, quick service, hot hot hot tacos and leftovers for lunch. Super Taco I've missed you"
"This place is good! Food was satisfying. I especially enjoyed the chile relleno. It was oozing with cheese and the flavor and texture were perfect. It was covered in a delicious, creamy sauce (I could drink it). I also ordered the cheese enchilada, which was okay. It wasn't my favorite because I did find the sauce to be pretty bitter but all in all it was fine. My entree came with sides of rice and beans, which were also very good...I just wish I had more of it. We ordered to go and this could have contributed to smaller portion sizes since the images from the menu appear to have more. Our meal came with chips but we also ordered veggie nachos, which were also pretty good. I wish it had more flavor...maybe it needed more sour cream and beans but it seemed to be mostly chips and cheese with the fajita mix. Overall I enjoyed the food and would order from here again. Everything was packaged well and presented in an appetizing way. I overall enjoyed my meal and would give everything a solid 4 stars with the exception of the chile relleno, which deserves a 5. Solid choice for Mexican food in the Sacramento area."
"Saturday, 7/27/2024 - We tried Mesa Mercado restaurant for the 1st time. Address is 6241 Fair Oaks Blvd, Ste B, (Milagro Ctr) Carmichael, CA 95608. There is plenty of parking here. Upon arrival...Pros1) restaurant looked clean and tidy. 2) I saw there was a bar, buy didn't see anyone drinking there. 3) we didn't have to wait long. You do have to wait to be seated. 4) our server was very nice and attentive. Professional. He checked on us several times. The made sure we had water in our water cups. 5) our table, utensils cups, plates were all clean. 6) chips and salsa was good. Cost $4.00.7) they provided a little complimentary mango. 8) all of our food dishes were good. I liked them all. 9) our little one didn't like her chips much. She didn't like the sour cream on it. I liked it though! It came with a churro and whip cream as dessert. Churro was freshly made and delicious. Kids plate and churro was $10.0010) water tasted good. No funky taste. 11) Cons1) they charge a $2.00 kitchen appreciation fee on our tab. We didn't see it till we left. So couldn't ask them what that was. Conclusion I liked this restaurant. It was cute. Staffs were very nice and attentive. Foods were good. I'd go here again."
"Yum, yum, yum...Imagine if Chipotle food was actually good, even then it won't approach the high quality, tastiness and just plain fun of this restaurant. I make the Chipotle comparison because this is a stand on line to approach the food making counter, you order, the team makes it, they slide it down the line, then you pay, find your table and begin to eat.The quality to price ration (QPR) is outstanding here. I got two enchiladas, beans, rice, salad for $12. It was a mountain of food. It was one of the best Mexican meals I've had in months. (I eat Mexican chow in family owned places at least twice / week).Totally unexpected as I walk through the parking lot of the typical Roseville / Rocklin modern strip mall shopping area. I thought, "oh no not another corporate chain crap emporium". To be delightfully surprised by a welcoming staff, clean dining room, bountiful food, sumptuous salsa bar.All good. This place is now on my list for regular visits."
"Every year I try to make my own masa for tamales but I just can't get it right. So I bolted to La Esperanza to pick up a couple of bags of their prepared masa. Today they had 5 lb and 20 lb bags available so I purchased two bags at 5 lbs each. La Esperanza's masa has the perfect consistency to spread it thinly on the corn husk. It sticks nicely and doesn't unravel during the steaming process. Maybe one day I'll get it right when mixing my own mass but for now I'm happy with ready to go pre mixed bags at La Esperanza."
"They crushed it. Food was great. Service was great. So grateful we found this spot. Order lots."
"I just left a meeting where we catered from Oscar's Very Mexican Food. It arrived warm. I ordered the carnitas super burrito and my girlfriend ordered the steak California burrito. We split our burritos in half and each had a half of the other's. I didn't like mine, it was too bland. The meat mixed with the rice and lettuce and ended up having no flavor. On the other hand I had her steak California Burrito and loved it. I ended up eating the half she gave me and saved the caritas super burrito for later. Maybe if I'm starving I'll eat it, but I doubt it. It will probably just get tossed by the end of the day.I would order the steak California Burrito again. I bet it's the steak that makes it good, so if I ordered the super burrito with the steak I'd probably love it. The steak is so tasty."
"One of the few Mexican restaurants that my wife enjoyed. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, a combo plate and the birria tacos. We all loved it. Service was great. The restaurant was clean. The decor inside was nice. We will be back."
"We came here for a Birthday party. Each person ordered their food and drinks at the bar or at the front. I ordered my drinks and food at the bar. I had the Vampiro, a Paloma based beverage. It was delicious! I ordered the al pastor tacos, 2 tacos per order. They were very good. I also ordered 13 shots of the Donkey's Semen: I forgot what was in it, but it was yummy.I would return again to try the other tacos."
"Absolutely absolutely love Nenas! When I stop in town this is always a must. Our family has been coming here for years and it has become a tradition. There is lots of seating, even for large parties. They also have a back room seating area that you can rent out and have a party, which we have also done before. The food is great and we love the fact that they make homemade tortillas, our favorite! Now I will say the location is not in the best area but do not let that stop you from coming here, we've never had any issues."
"Iam a loyal customer, and now changing from 5 star to 3 star. Been eating at Cafe Capricho for around 8- 9 years , unfortunately place has slowly been going down hill. My Wife and I loved there green salsa its not available anymore, they use to give you a choice between 2 different salsas. Now they give you salsa that looks like puke and not so good. The only reason I still give them 3 star is there crunchy tacos , still some of the best and my favorite crunchy tacos.Staff are polite and professional Place is comfortable and clean"
"Ordered from Rudy's Mexican Gourmet for dinner tonight through the Yelp app and my order was done perfectly. My order: 1 Steak Chimichanga, super. 1 Chicken Chimichanga, regular.1 Carnitas Burrito with green sauce, super. 1 Large bag of tortilla chips and 1 mild salsa. I hate to say this because the business might lose a bit of money but their regular size chimi is probably enough for two people. I had the carnitas burrito. The pork was moist and tender, flavorful and cooked just fine. You know how this big company Mexican restaurant does their burrito where the ingredients are not spread out? It's not like that at Rudy's. It doesn't lack in ingredients, so when Rudy says super, it is super. I also asked for the guacamole on the side and they even placed it in a little container. Thank you for that. As for the chicken chimi, I took a bite after my wife offered. Usually, a deep fried burrito ends up crispy good but greasy but Rudy's isn't greasy at all. The chicken had a nice flavor and for a regular size, it was enough for two people. For the steak super chimi, our son was able to finish it. He's a growing boy, after all. But, I saw how the steak was chopped perfectly and how nicely cooked it was. Again, evenly distributed ingredients. Don't waste your money at the Mexican restaurant that makes their burritos looking like flautas. Try Rudy's and you might never resort to eating blah again. Chips were fresh and delicious as with the mild salsa. My question to Rudy's is, if people order takeout, are chips and salsa included or it needs to be purchased? There will be a follow up review after we visit the restaurant to sit down and eat in. Pictures will be posted then."
"Stopped in while in the area, and the service is really friendly. I loved their salsa selection, and I love when mexican restaurants offer whole jalapeños. I really enjoyed my food, and my total came out to be about $17-18. Another plus is that the parking situation is nice, even while busy there's plenty of places to park. Will definitely return when in the area!"
"Always looking for the best Crispy tacos! We decided to try this restaurant. Large dining room, well lit and super clean. Order at the register. At 5:00 there were quite a few to go orders and more diners walking in. Friendly staff.Crispy tacos were ok, not my fave though. Ordered shredded chicken and a carnitas taco. Shells were crispy, but a little oily. Good size too. Plenty of meat in both. Hubby had the chili relleno plate, it was very large. He liked it enough.Prices are decent too. Give it a try! They have lots of choices here!"
"Food is fantastic, friendly service and staff are always caring and attentive Nice atmosphere and lighting"
"Excellent service & my vegetarian burrito was humongous ( had to bring half home). They are now open for lunch. Happy hour specials, you can't go wrong! In same plaza as Pete's & Julian's."
"Love the huge mural on the wall. So colorful and festive! Four of us had a great meal. We ordered at the counter and our food was ready so fast. Hot and delicious!"
