"Wildly a mixed bag. Ordered from the premium AYCE menu and out of the things that I tried, my fave was the boneless short ribs; fairly succulent and not heavy-handed on marinade sweetness. Appetizer-wise, the cheese corn was deliciously super buttery. Pleasantly surprised on the king oyster mushroom; sliced like meat and the salt and pepper on it went a long way. Wished more Korean BBQ places offered this. Also appreciated that there is a notable amount of non-marinated meats available. The thick pork belly, pork jowl, and top blade steak were all decently tender. Now for the bad. The bulgogi tasted way off; bland(!!) and the meat itself tasted old. The mung bean sprout side dish (sukjunamul-muchim) was strikingly really salty. The veggie banchan generally was below-average (on the not-fresh, mushy side).Understaffed. Infrequent server appearances (though he seemed a bit swamped). No offering of changing the grill plate at all and I had to turn off the grill myself after being done with cooking."
"Five of us had a wonderful dinner here. You might have to wait to get in and you will smell delicious when you leave, but it was was a wonderful meal. Once you're seated service is quick and attentive. We did Course A, worth every penny!! Can't wait to go back!!"

"WOW! I'm so glad Jake and I left the office just before noon because this place filled up fast. It was a rainy day back in December 2024, and the craving for fresh ramen was too strong to resist. Pro tip: arrive just before noon to snag a seat. They also have a fridge stocked with cold drinks, including sodas and beer bottles.I went with the House Ramen, which featured a pork bone-based soup loaded with cabbage, bean sprouts, bamboo, pickled ginger, egg, green onion, spinach, and two slices of chashu (sliced pork). I opted for medium spiciness, and it hit the spot perfectly. The broth combined with all the veggies was fantastic--just what I needed on a rainy day. We'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other dishes. The Champong looked absolutely amazing!"
"10/10. This is located in a busy natomas plaza, however locating parking is not hard to find! Inside is very aesthetically pleasing and felt very clean. They have plent of stools where you can work or do school stuff. They had at least 10 tables. We ordered the mango basoo and the tiger milk tea. First of all, the mango dessert was DELICIOUS. I think it's better than Hawaii shaved ice. The ice was soft and chewy. The sweet part was only on the top, but even just the ice by itself was really good. I wish I had ordered this instead! The tiger milk tea was delicious as well, tasted like every other milk tea however the boba was soft and chewy! I ordered 50% sweetness because I know how sweet these drinks can get! Would totally recommend this place!"
"The Koja is like a burger, but better [Sacramento CA]Can't remember when I had a Koja burger last. Our Koja Kitchen in Rocklin closed down. This was my first time at the Sacramento location. I am familiar with the menu and ordered the classic "Original Koja" that's like a burger except with the lightly fried garlic rice buns. In between those rice buns is a very tasty combination of Korean BBQ short rib, sesame vinaigrette lettuce, katsu aioli, and sesame seeds. It was a bit messy to eat... needed lots of napkins ツ I paired it with a Strawberry Mango Mint Lemonade... tart and refreshing!Daughter ordered a couple of side dishes: Chicken Gyoza (5pcs) and Kimchi.Great customer service... she was friendly and helpful. Smaller dining area than what we had in Rocklin.Instagram: @kojasactownReview #3545"
"This area used to be my neck of the woods and I never got a chance to try Jinme Ramen & Sushi until recently. Not only is this a great date spot, it's a great 'just because' you want amazing food spot!JRSB is easily spotted from the road during the day and at night, it has outdoor seating with patio lighting. Since it was a hot day, we sat inside. We picked window seating and received our drinks right away. I have heard the ramen at this spot is delicious, so that was at the top of our list and we were going all out. As we put in our order, the owner sent our table a complimentary veggie spring roll appetizer with a side sauce. So delicious thank you chef!We ordered the Bulgoli fries for our appetizer. They were piping hot worry with a sweet Sriracha and a sweet mayo drizzled on top, bulgoli (marinated chopped ribeye) and finished with jalapenos. They were good, but the meat was chopped so small, the bits of steak on top weren't as enjoyable. Maybe overcooked and the fries got cold quick. As we nibbled on both, we watched the dining room fill up and the owners hard at work behind the sushi counter. We received our spicy ramen bowls (there are three levels of spice, I got the meduim, level 2, and he got hot, level 3). All ramen bowls come with a pork broth. I ordered mine with pork belly and he ordered his with steak. They looked mouth watering irresistible. Along with our ramen, we received The Reggae sushi roll and The JLO sushi roll. Both topped with salmon and masago, filed with deep fried shrimp. The biggest difference in our rolls is that The Reggae has cream cheese and cucumber and The JLO has imitation crab... but first things first... we sipped our broth. It was delicious. He let me try his and that was pretty spicy, but I loved mine. I feel like with the medium, I can taste the spice and taste the gorgeous flavor of the broth. The Pork Belly and Steak Ramen looked beautiful. Our Ramen bowls have kimchi, bean sprouts, spinach, cilantro, and fresh green ramen noodles. Every bite was intoxicating, I wanted more! I thought the pork belly was so delicious! It was juicy and cooked perfectly! After going around the table between sushi, ramen, spring rolls, fries... we did hit a breaking point. Plus, how amazing would it be to sit at home and finish this together? Not wasting another minute, we got everything boxed up, he paid, and on our way out, we also tipped the owners/sushi chefs personally. They have a clear fish jar on the sushi bar, SO DON'T FORGET TO SHOW SOME LOVE!Jinme Ramen & Sushi Bar is a restaurant I must come back to. Not only am I craving their delicious food, but the atmosphere was perfect. It is set up with tables & chairs. It's the perfect place to enjoy your time with someone, or even order takeout and enjoy it at home. THANK YOU for a wonderful delicious experience. We will see you again soon!"
"Casual spot that's great for families. Our 4 year old loves this place. Sometimes service at the table can be a little slow for getting drink refills and your bill. Food typically comes out pretty fast. We like to come here when the revolving conveyor belt is running to try different rolls. I think it only runs in the evenings now unfortunately. Quality is pretty good. Some favorites are Spicy Dragon, King Kong, Fujiyama, Lucky, Ninja, Dynamite, Snow storm, Godfather, Sasa, and Cherry blossom. If you don't like fish get the Spicy Korean Chicken. It is so good!"

This place is definitely spacious and modern. Workers are friendly, and the service was great. They even have robot servers. The food didn't take too long to come out either. The meat here is pretty good quality. The salt and pepper fried chicken wings were not dry and were very tasty. The cheese corn and the side dishes were decent. I like how this place has the vents to take away the smoke. Definitely would come back here again if I was in the area.

Hidden gem that seats 30. Right next to sushi hook. This ramen hit the spot during a cold night. I got the house ramen spicy. The spicy level was on point but died off half ways down the bowl. One server, and he was moving. Polite and tentative. We got two house ramens, chicken karaag, a beer and sojo all for $65. The chicken karaag was good but I def had better. The egg my only complaint. It was too well done. I needed some yoke. Will stop by and pay them a visit again.

We love stopping by Deluna whenever we're in Natomas! We came in the last visit and it wasn't too busy. The inside has plenty of seating and is always clean. You can order from the kiosk or cashier. There's different milk and fruit teas, blended drinks and lattes. They also have a yakult series and cheese foam series. For snacks they have Korean corn dogs and teokbokki. This last time the soft serve was no longer on their menu. Not sure if it was temporary but definitely miss it. But our go to items are the shave snow bingsoo. We've tried all of them, the mango, strawberry, milk, and matcha. Every flavor comes with condensed milk and a scoop of vanilla. The snow is perfectly soft and the toppings are fresh and pairs well with the snow. It's definitely one of the best desserts in the area!

Koja Kitchen in Downtown Sacramento is a great place that can serve up quick, flavorful bites at very reasonable prices. Their menu is chock-full of flavorful options, catering to a wide variety of tastes, and is considered one of the best restaurants around due to its satisfying meals and good price. The portions are very good, the food always fresh, and the flavors just right, whether it be for lunch or even a casual dinner. They have a variety of choices to satisfy all appetites. They so get fairly busy during lunch hours, so allow yourself some time to enjoy the food. There's plenty of seating inside and outside in the patio area. If you happen to be in Downtown Sacramento, Kojak Kitchen will definitely provide great food for decent prices, along with excellent warm service.

Food is always satisfying. Not necessarily above average, but always fresh and yummy...standard as far as sushi goes. I haven't tried the Korean food, so this review is a bit limited. The service is always very sweet and on point. They give little extra treats on the house... I'd love to think I'm special but they probably do this for everyone.

Even at $38 and with some restrictions, the AYCE option was worth it.So many variety of rolls on the conveyer belt. They kept putting them out to keep the belt 75% full. You can also order certain items on the menu. Come hungry!

Only five stars, because I can't give more. After trying to go to a couple of other Korean places, I ended up here. I went to the. Korean barbecue on Folsom between Watt and Howe, and I was treated very rudely.(see separate review...) I remembered that there was a new Korean barbecue in this shopping center, but even though there were "grand opening" signs on the building, apparently it's already gone out of business. In this case, the third try was *DEFINITELY* the charm. I had an absolutely amazing meal.I walked in, and while the place was busy, I was seated quickly. Everybody I dealt with was friendly. I decided to go for my old standby, the bibimbap. They offer it several different ways, hot, cold, spicy, with seafood, with tofu or beef. I chose the hot bibimbap, non-spicy, with beef. I also asked for my. Banchan, (sides), to be non-spicy.The sides were absolutely wonderful! I'm not sure what everything was, but everything was amazing. The fish cakes and one of the other sides was a tiny bit spicy, but well within what I like for spice. My two absolute favorite were the fish cakes and the coleslaw. The fish cakes had a good texture and were not overly fishy, and the coleslaw was creamy and delicious. I asked for seconds on the fish cakes and coleslaw, and they said no problem. As I mentioned, they were busy, and it did take a little while to get my main course. It was well worth the wait. The bowl of food came, and it was. *SIZZLING!* It stayed that way for a while. I haven't heard that good of a sizzle since the last time I had fajitas. My server was nice enough to warn me that the bowl was hot, but I could easily see (and hear) that. :) The beef had so much flavor, and they were very generous with everything in the bowl. Not only that, but the rice was wonderfully crusty on the bottom. All of the ingredients played very well with each other. There were two very minor things that do not warrant taking off a star. For me, I wish the egg would've had a little bit more yolk to it, as I love popping the yolk and having it drip down into my food. There was some, I just wish there could've been more. I realize everybody is different. For my partner, it would've been just right. The other thing was, and again, I realize everybody is different, but to me, with the exception of the beef, the food needed to be seasoned just a tiny bit more. (To be fair, It may have been because I ordered it non-spicy... ) There was not only pepper, but there was also sea salt on the table, which was great. Sea salt really adds a good flavor, so much more than plain table salt. I just had water for my beverage, so for this amazing meal, it was only $21 before tip. Absolutely worth it. This has to have been one of the best bibimbaps I have had in a long time, possibly ever. Will I be back? You bet your sweet bippy !!! Thank you.

"This was such a great Korean restaurant in the Rancho Cordova area. The food was amazing and I can't wait to stop by here again soon to try more of the menu."
"It's our second time at this restaurant. It's such a great place to visit after a nice vacation in the mountains. The lady who served us was so nice and pleasant. The food was delicious as well. We couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend!"
"Exterior signage still says Ttobongee, but the window menus, outdoor A-Frame, and inside, there is lots of branding as "Manna" or "MANNA BUNSIK," but I'll post this review on the Ttobongee business page on Yelp for now. Located next door to SOMI SOMI. Previous visits I've tried the Yang Nyum fried chicken special set (with rice, japchae, mandu), ham & cheese Korean corn dog, dduk bok gi (spicy!), and Korean drinks like Binggrae banana milk, or Soon Hari soju. This time, I got the Kimchi Spam Fried Rice (fried egg on top) with added Cheese, a Kimbap with Bulgogi, and a complimentary cup of soup (bone broth?). Both orders were delicious! The kimchi wasn't too spicy and the portion was filling for one person, definitely add the cheese on top. Every bite was yummy. The kimbap I believe is all-veggie and egg, or can add tuna or bulgogi for additional charge. The kimbap came with 10 pieces/slices and made fresh-to-order. Great service, extremely friendly and attentive.Open from 11:00AM until 8:30PM Sunday-Wednesday, and 9:30PM closing on Thursdays-Saturday."
"Stopped by on a Tuesday evening and it was empty. Service was good. I was not impressed with the tofu soup (Mushroom Soon Tofu), but I enjoyed the other items: Dolsot Bibimbap, Mandoo, Yangnyeom Chicken, Japchae, TongSamGyub Salad and L.A. Galbi. Of these, my favorites were the Mandoo and Yangnyeom Chicken. The Mandoo was huge! Side dishes were good as well. I'd return! (I'd just skip the tofu soup in the future.)"
"Nothing in the Sacramento area will compare to this place! The rice cakes have a great texture and the sauce is not too spicy. You definitely need water but it's a good spice. The water is self serve and the staff are very nice! They welcomed us in and waved bye. Super cute place, will definitely come back when I am craving Korean food."
"Of all the Korean places I've been to in Rancho Cordova, Doma is my new favorite! I came here after it was highly recommended by a work acquaintance -- apparently her Korean boyfriend had been highly tempted to gatekeep the spot bc of how authentic and delicious it is. A few highlights / why it is my new go-to Korean spot: * Quality banchan ofc * Combo meals - I always love a good soondubu esp during the wintertime but often face the dilemma of a dry vs wet entree. At Doma, there's no need to choose as their combo consists of an entree with a mini soondubu on the side so you get the best of both worlds! * A+ service~ the second time I dined here, I was in a hurry because we were trying to squeeze in dinner prior to catching a flight so I called in advance to put in our order and the workers graciously expedited our meal -- there was a reserved table waiting for us when we arrived and the food (banchan, bossam and soondubu) all came out promptly so that we were somehow in and out with our bellies happily full in less than 20 minutes!! The cherry on top is that they gave us the complimentary post-meal plum tea in a to-go cup (: Doma has definitely earned the #1 spot on my roster among the many Korean places in the area and as tempted as I am to gatekeep it as well, this place deserves absolutely all the hype coming its way!"
"Another hard to find, tucked in the corner and not enough signage yummy food spot. Vons is located next to Sushi Hook on Howe. This location shares operation with a Ramen and More. My fiancé and I tried two orders of their chicken and Bulgogi Ramen. The prices of the chicken seem a bit steep compared to other chicken locations but in this day and age small restaurants like this are just trying to survive. We order a half order Crispy Yangnyum, half order crispy garlic chicken tenders and Bulgogi Ramen. The Yangnyum has a bit of a kick. The half order of legs are huge and have tons of meat. The flavor is all the way down to the bone. Next time I will try the legs extra well done for a better crunch which I heard is the way to go. I also added the butter powder seasoning to a few of my legs as suggested by a friend. A must try!!! The crispy garlic chicken tenders were delicious! They are crunchy and flavorful. They use chicken thighs to make their tenders. The tenders are a nice size and covered in their garlic sauced. I also added the butter powder seasoning to a few of my tenders just to see! It's really good with their butter powder seasoning as well. The Bulgogi Raman bowl was pretty yummy. The meat was well seasoned and tender! I am not a fan but my fiancé enjoyed the bowl. Besides, the price and location the food is really good. The service is great! The restaurant is small in the inside with Limited seating. For those who like Sake, they have a few selections on their menu."
"Simply put, this place is DELISH! Located in the same parking lot as KP Market, near their Kareoke Bar. It's a small shop but the food packs a lot of flavor and the best part is it's super reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and patient. We got the Kimchi Fried Rice, Crispy 'Yang-Nyum', fries, and Man Doo (beef & veggie potstickers). The chicken in the Crispy 'Yang-Nyum' was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were tasty but you should definitely eat them fresh and the KimChi Fried Rice was yummy! Oh and don't forget about the Man Doo, it was good. It was crispy and packed with flavor. PARKING: There's a shared parking lot and not a lot of parking super close to the restaurant but you won't have any issues finding a spot. Overall, this place is great and worth trying!"
"It's a little confusing to find the door leading into the area. It's like a food hall where you just interact with workers to pick up. You can order on their two tablets but I'd recommend ordering ahead of time because of the area. It took about 15 minutes for my order. You'd scan your barcode at the front window and pick up from a locker door that will automatically open. It'll be in a to-go container with gloves, lollipop and napkins. :)Favorites from most liked to least: bulgolgi, bbq albacore, cheese corn, spicy tuna Bulgolgi - the meat was tender and juicy and flavorful. I'd get this one every time for sure! I was really surprised because I was thinking it would be dry, but it ended up being one of my favorites.BBQ Albacore - the texture I didn't 100% love since it was ground up tbh but the flavor was good! Cheese Corn - not too sweet (the ultimate Asian compliment) compared to others I've triedSpicy Tuna - I loved that they used tuna chunks instead of the ground up frozen spicy tuna you usually see. I think there was just too much rice and not enough tuna because when I tried the fish alone, I really liked it. It tasted bland in the yubu to me. If they balanced out the portions, I'd place spicy tuna as #2."
"Service: Nathan V. and Makayla S. were the servers for our party of 24! We had 16 adults and lots of little ones and they stayed on top of our order and refills and made our dinner really enjoyable!Food: all you can eat is always fun when doing kbbq! This has been one of our fav locations to visit when we get the chance. Great appetizer and meat selection! We didn't order one dish we didn't like!Ambiance! Went on a Sunday and it was packed! Always fun environment! Celebrated our nephews and sisters birthday and they got to spin the wheel which is always fun!All and all, we had a great experience!"
