The girl at the second floor kiosk suggested we try downstairs at Yasi's. After browsing the little kiosk for ten minutes, my friend found what she wanted in the display case and was ready to purchase. A few other potential customers who came buy and left while we were there. Too bad THERE WAS NO ONE there to help is. LOSE MONEY!!! When the sales lady finally arrived, she was very apologetic and helpful. My friend got her tragus ring for less than a third of what she was expecting to pay. It's a little concerning that it was so cheap. We went to the restrooms after and as we were walking back past the kiosk, the sales lady was nowhere to be seen again. Lol terrible!"

It was early in the day, and there were two people in the store. I can't help but feel like neither one of them cared if I wanted to buy anything and so I was basically ignored. I slunk out of there after spending a few minutes going through the racks and realizing neither one of them would be available to answer some of my questions. Maybe I came at the wrong time and they just opened, so they were busy with that?"

"My old review pretty much sums up my feelings about Evangeline's. One of the best shops in Old Sac. and in town! It's nice that the costume section is now open all year long instead of just during the Halloween season like they did in the distant past. It has been a few years since I have been back since my fiancée Joe K. had passed away. We both loved to dress up for Halloween, Sci fi/fantasy conventions and Yelp themed events. We had a lot of commonalities together. At first, I was a bit melancholy about entering the store, but this time, I came here with my sister to look for an outfit that she could wear for her grandchild's "Frozen" themed birthday party. We found a suitable dress that she seemed to like, but she didn't want to try it on first, thinking it was the correct size to fit her. However, it was a disappointment when she finally tried it on at home. First, it looked too big on her. The attached sashes were placed in an unflattering location on the dress, and all the glitter that was glued on, made a huge mess everywhere! Also, the long blonde wig that we had chosen in it's package, turned out to have grey streaks in it! Bad choices on both of our parts! Even though our shopping trip here didn't fulfill what her hopes were, I still have to give this business five stars, because our selections were not their fault. Evangeline's is still one of my favorite places to visit and to reminisce about the happy times Joe K and I shared together. Maybe, someday in the future, I'll have reasons to return and continue with new memories and a renewed enthusiasm..."

It's small but very well organized with lots of fun local things to shop for . I know they carry the Jazzy sauce which I can't be with out . The Jazzy sauce is sold at the farmers market on Saturdays but you can find the sauces here . Which it's very convenient for me since I don't live near the area . I got my sauce and a sagittarius necklace that was way too cute . Overall all this is a cute and fun store to visit ."

It has been converted to a little garden oasis complete with misters, bird music (bird calls and music), fountains and handmade ceramic pieces. You could probably spend a hour in this store and still not see everything. I have been coming here for years to buy clothes, greeting cards and miscellaneous things. If you give them your email they send out a coupon I believe 4 times a year for 20 % off. The customer service people are hit or miss when it comes to helping the customers. I don't let that bother me because I love this store and the beautiful mystical merchandise they sell."

I needed a few ingredients to make kitchari for the week, I live in Citrus Heights and was about to drive to west Roseville before stumbling upon this market on yelp. I was hesitant due to low reviews but boy am I glad I chose to come anyways! I came here in search of split yellow mung beans, red lentil, cardamom, fennel, quinoa and millet. Although they didn't have the quinoa and Millet they had everything else and more! I left with a cart full of spices, beans, onions, canned jackfruit, and almost got, but left behind a big container of organic fresh looking medjool dates. I've been mouth watering craving those dates so I will be making a second trip very soon, maybe tonight if I can't help it, to buy the organic dates. The owners were so friendly and helped me find just what I was looking for. They were very outgoing and playful with my 5 month old son, I will be back and I highly recommend this market!"
