"Best Italian food in area, I tried the lasagna and it was the best lasagna I ever had. The service is great, the owner will go around and talk to the guests, like they use to do decades ago. The ambiance is great with stuff of Italy and the lighting is nice for a romantic meal with your loved one. There dessert are great the best cannoli's and Tiramisu. This place is great and the pizza is the best as well."
"I used to drive by this place almost everyday when I lived downtown and never went until I saw this place pop up on an instagram post and it looked so good! So, I had to try it. The wait was about 45 mins because it was packed and it's not a very big place. We were seated at the bar and were given drinks right away. We ordered the bruschetta and Caesar salad first. Then, for the entrée Bolognese. We got the appetizers very quick but, the entree took awhile. But, it was all very good! So the only reason I'll give this place 4 stars is because of the wait for food. I'll definitely be back! Book a table in advance! I only took a picture of the bruschetta. Sorry!"

when i was young, my sundays, every sunday, much too early, would start: "hey! you want me fry you some peppers. damn hot peppers here!" the whole household would wake to the exotic aroma of these wonderful peppers permeating the air. sunday mornings. my father celebrating the only way he knew how, in the style of naples, yelling and cooking simultaneously! his exclamation to the world: "it's good to be alive!" and when we feel this way we just have to cook or yell or sing or better, all of the above at the same time! small green hot peppers and large green sweet peppers sliced and slowly braised in a tangy tomato sauce. sounds simple. it is! the difficult part is to try to stop eating them. "so, hey! you want me fry you some peppers. damn hot peppers here!" served over grilled polenta. "it's good to be alive!" tucker's beer recommendation: your favorite beer will do. local tip: order two!

"Roma II is such a lively restaurant with a wholesome dark ambiance perfect for a night out with the family. We got half hawaiian and half combination for one pizza, a full pepperoni for the other, and the house salad. The pizzas were made with fresh ingredients, delicious and the crust perfectly thick and crunchy (the best part!). The texture of the pizzas were soggy at the tip where when you pick it up it droops down with the melted cheese. They were classic, flavorful, and we had an amazing experience with the pizzas. The house salad came with vinegar and their homemade italian sauce. It was wonderful as well. The servers were very friendly and welcoming, but did take some time to serve us and bring us the check. We waited and tried calling them over multiple times and got ignored, but I'm sure they just were focused on something else in those moments. Overall the experience here was good. I can see myself coming back here to try others on their menu and bringing more people with me!"
"Nothing goes with a work meeting like pizza! Had Giovanni's delivered for the team. Testament to good ingredients. The pepperoni was on point and the veggie was outstanding. As NY Ex Pat, I'm picky with my pizza and Gionanni's does it right. Thin, foldable crust with just the right bite.Hadn't had it in ages but it was just as good as I remember."
"Service and food were both disappointing. Ordered takeout and most of the food was dry. Bread was tough and chewy. Cheesy garlic bread had very little cheese. Kids Mac n cheese was mostly dry pasta with very little cheese sauce. The person who took our phone order was super unfriendly. Wasted $$ here, wish we could have ordered somewhere else :("
"Anthony's Italian Cuisine is a nice spot to go to if you're craving some cheesy, red saucy, pasta-y Italian food! Located in the heart of South Natomas, Anthony's serves up some great family food. Having tried this spot out a few times now, I have a good feel for what you're getting. I love their calamari and Lasagna, both absolutely hit the spot! The fettuccini Alfredo is a close runner-up! Also a nod to the Eggplant Parmigiana, my wife's favorite. I've only had their orders to go, but they do have a small dining area with a cozy feel to it. The staff have always been nice and I have no complaints about my experience! For the price, food and service, Anthony's Italian is a great choice for you and the family, there's so many options to choose from so I'll be returning."
"My friend and I went here for dessert after Mexican food at El Balcon. We sat at the bar, the bartender was very nice and helped us decide on which dessert to try. We split the Cream Brûlée and the flourless Chocolate Cake. They were both magnificent. The Brûlée was creamy with a fresh raspberry compote on top of the sugar shell. My friend had never had Cream Brûlée, needless to say, I got 2.5 bites of it. The flourless chocolate cake was just as divine as the Brûlée. It was dense, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. It was served with a healthy scoop of fresh whipped cream. Both of these desserts were decadent and masterfully delicious. I will be back to try dinner! Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the desserts. I did however, take a pic of their 1942 tequila This restaurant would be a perfect date night place, the ambiance was bougie and elegant. Quiet and tucked in the perfect spot in the middle of the center it is located."
"Strong 4.5 stars. Papa Gianni's has become a monthly dinner rotation for our family. Honestly probably bi-weekly!The food from appetizers, entree options are all pretty good! We've been here a couple times a month and always leave stuffed. My family has our staple favorites now which I'll get into below...For starters - We've had the calamari fritta appetizer - as expectedThe Steamed Mussels which is sautéed with white wine, onions, garlic, lemon and parsley - yummyThe Bruschetta - Tomatoes, onions, garlic and basil dressed with olive oil, topped with parmesan and fresh basil, served on toasted bread. It's ok.My fave is the Pollo Rosamarina - Chicken breast and potatoes, sautéed in a light rosemary cream sauce. This is hands down my go to dish and I've had a few other dishes but only get this now.Hubby's so predictable and his fav is the Frutta di Mare - Mussels, shrimp and scallops, sautéed in a light cream sauce. Served over linguini. Sometimes it comes out too saucyMy oldest has ordered the Michelangelo dish on repeat the last few visits - Chicken breast and sun-dried tomatoes, sautéed in a creamy marinara sauce Served over fettucciniMy youngest has started to really like my chicken fav but his go to entrees have been linguine with clams, shrimp scampi or shrimp Alfredo. He loves his seafood. We all love the spumoni ice cream before departing. Service is always on point. It's definitely family dining spot and gives you that family atmosphere.Oh and weekends, make reservations. They get packed! :)If you haven't tried them, you definitely should give em a shot!"
"Definitely love Cirino'sRestaurant! True rating is 4.5! Great Italian restaurant nestled in a mall strip. As soon as you walked in the door, you were transported to a cozy ristirabte in Italy! The staff were welcoming and the decor made you feel like you were in an Italian bistro. They have two dining rooms, but they fill up fast! You can tell that the restaurant is so good that local neighbors dine there as well as a slew of tourist/visitors.The owners came out and checked on guests...each table. You even had an opportunity to KISS THE COOK!DEFINITELY will return! The seafood fettuccini was exquisite! Filled with shrimp and a lot of lobster pieces. The Alfredo had a twist of garlic and a light lemon taste. The steak was medium rare with a good flavor. Lightly salted and definitely a wood grill flavor. The grilled polenta was different and yummy! Light crispy crust with a breadish consistency. Creamy butter taste. The decadent chocolate cake was heavenly! Rich, moist and a sweet deep chocolate taste. The vanilla bean ice cream made it extra special. Tiramisu was yummy, but it was probably the least favourite dish. The cream tasted a lot like just vanilla which overpowered the coffee in the tiramisu. The amaretto sour was a bit watered down. Not very amerettoish or sourish. The only reason why it did not get 5 stars was due to the tiramisu and amaretto sour."
"My cousins took me out to dinner for my birthday at the Olive garden! As soon as we walked in we were seated and waited on less than 5 minutes are amazing server name Skyler was excellent he had great public relations very professional and so sweet and kind! He started us off with drinks which I had an amazing green apple sangria delicious! He then served us our appetizers which was an excellent salad artichoke and spinach dip and I believe homemade chips!! Then served my entree which I had breast chicken with cherry tomatoes smothered on top and steamed broccoli delicioso! He was extremely kind enough to bring me an amazing pumpkin cheesecake and had the staff sing me Happy Birthday and that made my evening even more awesome! So if anyone out there is looking for a great place to go with friends and family this is the place to come excellent service Great public relations from all the employees especially Skyler!!!"
"Pizzeria Classico is truly a find in historic Folsom. It's one of those places where, right from the doorstep, the welcoming staff make you feel like family. Cozy atmosphere, with its charming rustic décor, will be perfect for date nights, family outings, or catching up with friends. The pizza? Well, it is totally delicious-from each fresh taste interaction to that bit of crunchy-soft crust and just flooded with flavor. Whatever pizza, pasta or salad you order, it will be delicious and full of flavor. On this visit we enjoyed a large Chicken Alfredo/Belly Bomber. The pizza loaded with toppings and provided enough food for 4 adults plus a few slices to go. Note that parking can be a bit tricky, especially during weekends and evenings when this place gets bustling. But believe me, the food and experience are worth the effort. For a perfect slice in the heart of Folsom, Pizzeria Classico is not to be missed!"
"Went to check out this place based upon other five star reviews, they were not lying. I've only tried it once so far, but I am definitely going back! We came here to check out their lunch menu because it was so reasonable. What we had was more than generous for a senior couple. The price was so reasonable! Not to mention the food being incredibly delicious. My husband had the mushroom tortellini and the sauce was incredible! I had the seafood pasta and they were very generous with the portions of seafood. Katie was our server, and she was as excellent as the food delicious. The place is small and cozy and very clean. I'm sure during peak hours it's likely very crowded, but we went during a quiet period about 2 to 3 PM. A very good gem of a find!"

Giving Via Roma Pizzeria 1000 Stars! Yes, it was that good! ; D I absolutely LOVE Italian food. It's my favorite, but unfortunately I don't get to have it very often. So when I choose an Italian restaurant to dine in, I have to choose wisely. Well this establishment did not disappoint. Came in 50 min before closing. It was the holidays, we just finished shopping, and we were hangry, craving Italian. The staff was so kind welcoming us in. They let us choose anywhere we wanted to sit. There was only 2 other parties dining, and one large dinner party. The restaurant was small and cozy. It also had a small bar area which looked like they had a vast wine selection. The lighting was dim, and the ambiance was casual. Service was outstanding. It wasn't until later after our dinner that we found out, Henry who can and took our orders was the actual owner. No wonder he seems very chillax and in good spirits. He was nice to talk to, I almost wanted to ask him to pull up a chair and join my kids and I for dinner haha. All staff was amazing and so kind. I wonder if they are all related because they seem like family and they treat you like so too. Now for the food. I'm drooling as I reminisce writing this review. I want to go back. We start off with the complimentary house bread, I believe it's foccacia and it comes with a dipping oil; olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. That was sooo delicious. Loved it so much, I had to tell my kids to stop eating the bread because they would be too full from it to eat their entrees. Now for the main dishes, here's what we tried....Papperdelle Bolognese (5/5); this was my order, and it was to die for. The papperdelle pasta was fantastic. It was almost paper thin and tasted delicious. Without a doubt they make their pasta in house. The sauce was a red tomatoe base sauce with pork and beef, topped with some Parmesan. It was just the perfect balance of savory and tangy. The portion was large, I didn't finish it but I took the rest home and enjoyed it later. If I go back I would order this again, even though there are more items on the menu I would like to explore. Seafood Risotto (4/5) Delicious! Seafood was prepping's cooked well. There was a good amount. My daughter enjoyed this and ate almost the whole dish! I didn't finish try some of hers. It was delicious, however, I do wish the risotto was more on the creamy side, but that's just a personal preference. Overall the dish was yummy. Cannelloni a la Veneziana (4/5) this came out straight from the oven in a baking dish. It reminded me of a very large stuffed giant rigatoni. There was 3 pieces. So the dish size itself is medium. Not huge, definitely enough though. It was stuffed with ground meat and topped with melted cheeseChicken Parmigiana (5/5) This classic dish taste amazing. Chicken was large and light battered. Juicy and tender. Went well with the sauce which is a red sauce. At the end of dinner, Henry had us stay and he gave a complimentary tiramisu. Very sweet of him, and it was the perfect dessert to end the meal. The coffee liquor was strong but sweet and sophisticated tasting. We also ordered a large combination to go. The dough was thick but tasted amazing. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely will be coming back for more. They also have a second location now in Folsom area.

If you're looking for the best Italian food in town, look no further than Adamo's! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of fresh pasta and rich sauces simmering in the kitchen.I ordered the homemade bolognese, and it was absolute perfection--silky, fresh pasta coated in a rich, slow-simmered meat sauce that was bursting with flavor. The balance of tomatoes, herbs, and tender beef was spot on, making every bite a dream. My wife had the risotto, which was creamy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The texture was just right--rich and velvety without being too heavy. The service was top-notch--attentive without being intrusive. The staff truly makes you feel like family, which adds to the overall charm of the place. If you love authentic Italian cuisine made with love and fresh ingredients, Adamo's is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Very mom and pop feel to this humble pasta shop. Service was initially a little brusque, but quickly warmed up when we were presented our food. The petali itself was a little lackluster and had more breading than filling. The pasta and sauce didn't blow us away, but had solid flavor. We were pleasantly surprised by the soft, lightly oiled and crisp edges of the bread bowl. I was afraid the bread would be overwhelming with all of the other carbs in the pasta, but it was probably my favorite part. Big kudos for the cannoli, which was filled and brought out after service checked in on us several times and confirmed we were ready. Seemed like a clean and relaxed spot where couples and families alike could enjoy a simple bite together.

Got the lasagna with alfredo, minestrone soap, and cannoli. Everything was amazing. The meat in the lasgana was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Soup was perfect and as good or better than spaghetti factory. The garlic bread could do a little better but it was good. Cannoli was new for me to try and was a perfect treat in the end. Price was good and better than spaghetti factory that charges way too much for lasagna. I will be back!

We came here with a large party for brunch, and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict (eggs poached hard) and it was SO delicious. Spectacular hollandaise sauce, yummy short ribs, pepperonata (sautéed peppers and onions), and the BEST roasted potatoes i've ever had!!!!! The yukon gold potatoes were soft on the interior, wonderfully crispy on the outside, and encrusted with the best flavors and spices. Wow. The mimosas were tasty too. All in all, a great time.

This place was pretty damn good! Somehow, I missed taking a picture of the garlic bread. Overall, great quality and the flavor was extraordinarily tasty! The lasagna was rich and creamy, mmmm. I noticed they have a lunch special which I look forward to coming back for. Wine was fabulous. Excited we finally got to try here as reservations are a must!

"I have been to this restaurant a number of times both as a twosome and part of a banquet. I would recommend it it is obviously Italian food. Since the pandemic Daniel, the owner has not been able to hire enough cooks to open for lunch. Service and the ambience is very good."
"Absolutely beautiful and charming Italian spot! I walked past this restaurant multiple times and every single time it is busy and then I got FOMO. We arrive around 7pm on a Saturday night without a reservation (maybe a rookie mistake). Only bar seating was available as they were sold out for dining the rest of the night. Luckily we grabbed seats and were able to eat at the bar. Definitely recommend reservations. I ordered the penne vodka which was tasty and satisfying. I also ordered a strawberry martini. It came with a refill for one price which was great! It was delicious and complimented the meal perfectly."
"Food was amazing and so was the staff! Ribeye steak sandwich, baked cannelloni, minestrone soup, and teramasu for dessert. People were complaining on Facebook about this place and they are wrong."
"Using a gift certificate that was given to us, my Dad, husband, and I came to Serritella's for dinner one evening. We were promptly seated and provided with breadsticks. We decided to start with an order of bruschetta to share, and we each ordered a different dish, so we could sample a little bit of everything. The bruschetta was unlike any other we had ever had before, and we all agreed that the stray from traditional was not our favorite. It had some sort of spreadable cheese on it, which traditional bruschetta does not. It almost tasted like cream cheese and did not work for us.For my dish, I decided to order the primavera. My husband ordered ravioli, and my dad ordered the lasagna. All in all, the pasta dishes were average. Nothing spectacular and nothing out of the ordinary that would make us drive out of our way to come back. The layout of the restaurant is a little strange with it being two different restaurants housed in the same building. The space is large and modern, but didn't set a distinctive ambience."
"Ordered delivery, food was good but a little costly for the amount received. The beef brisket was good, but there were only three thin slices. The tri-tip sandwich was okay, but the au jus was tasteless.Pulled pork sliders are great. Lots of flavor, meat was nice and tender.Garlic fries had way too much garlic. If you're obsessed with garlic, these are for you. If you don't want more garlic than fries, you should order something else."
"Great customer service, and the soup is always delicious. However, parking at this location is terrible."
"I was in the area and so glad I stopped in for a quick bite. I will be back to have more of their deliciousness. Service was quick, friendly staff, very clean, efficient, and great place to watch a game, grab a beer and a yummy bite to eat."
"Get the thick crustTry the amazing cheesecake! We love this place! We have been eating here before, during and post Covid. It has amazing sauce and the crust is so delectable!!Keep it up Italian Bro's/Sis's!!"
"We absolutely love this community-based pizza shop. The pizza is never too greasy and it will make it just the way you like it. They use clean wholesome ingredients, the shop happens to be pork-free so it is Muslim friendly but this is a great place to eat regardless. There is literally no reason to go to the big franchise pizza places when we have such a tasty pizza place right here in our neighborhood."
"La Porta is my new fav spot to dine in Sacramento, ever since my first time here for dinner, when I enjoyed the best beets and burrata salad I have EVER tasted, and one of the best creamy penne Alfredo with chicken my taste buds have enjoyed. This 2nd time around, I aimed to try their Detroit pizzas, so I ordered the Belluno. The portion is so huge that I enjoyed it for three more meals at home!!! The pesto, HUGE roasted garlic, and all of the toppings (except the Calabrian chilis I needed to remove for dietary restriction reason), plus the delicious, crispy, cheesy crust edge, make the most perfect flavor combo, so much that I now consider this pizza one for the books for this foodie! In addition, their house salad is extremely delicious with their balsamic vinaigrette that I especially enjoyed because it was not overpowering with being sour like I have often experienced in other restaurants. Service is excellent and their booths are very comfortable. I can't wait to go back and try another item on their menu!"
"I called in a pizza for pick up after work on Friday. Inside the restaurant was surprisingly spacious! There's room for multiple large parties.I had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes, not bad at all! The staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered a small pizza with pineapple, Canadian bacon, and jalapenos. It was delicious! I had half for dinner and had the rest in the air fryer for lunch the next day. I will definitely be back!"
"One of the best experiences in a restaurant we've had since moving from the bay about 6-7 yrs ago. Dominic was a perfect host/server for my wifes bday. Thanks and will definitely be back!"
"I'm a pizza lover had to try this pizza out .This is a small hole in the wall pizzeria with affordable prices . They have so many sizes to choose from the smallest being a 8 inch to the biggest being a 24 called the giant which it does live up to its name it's huge for $46.99 very affordable to feed a large crowd . My kids loved the pepperoni pizza I also got half combination and half Garlic Chicken Supreme the white sauce was delicious. They also offer salads, calzones, deli sandwiches , specialty sandwiches, and appetizers . The appetizers they have to offer are Hot Wings, Pesto or Garlic Chips, Garlic Bread, Italian Cheese Strips ,Bread Sticks, and Quesadillas. They have beers on tap and they also offer wine . The staff was all super friendly and attentive . This place reminded me of a pizza place from the Bay Area called The Box in San Jose they would sell big giant pizzas like the ones they sell here. I have not seen that in a while. That place in the Bay Area does not exist anymore so it was pretty cool to find one here in Roseville that sells giants pizzas . We will definitely be back for some more pizza in the future ."
"Very good food that has the whole farm to table authenticity. The berry crepe dessert is a MUST try! It was delicious!"
"Food was really good and service was really good. Only one waitress serving 10 tables and got things done fast and didn't forget anything we asked for. Super cutely decorated for Halloween. Very clean inside. Great place"
"We love via roma, we have never had a bad meal there. Not everyone's taste is the same and that is why we have places like papa johns. I think Henry puts the time and care into each of the meals prepared and it is always a treat to go there. Every time we've been, we always feel like we're being treated like family. Keep up the great work Via Roma."
"Best pizza in town this is the I.G.Gold Mine come and try it guaranteed to be a winner come support local business. Ivan rocks this place so delicious and they have Kabru beer and Double Goat from Amador brewing Co. Gotta try them or your missing out!!"
"Met a friend for coffee at Bella Bru. Neither of us had been here before. It is so much more than coffee. I'll be back to try the food. It looked amazing. PS They never made us feel rushed even though we were just having coffee and were there over two hours. Thank you Bella Bru for your welcoming environment. See you soon."
"I recently tried the Whole Nine Yard (combination) pizza from Lamppost, and it absolutely hit the spot! The crust was nicely cooked-- crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. The toppings were well-balanced, with plenty of fresh veggies, hearty meats, and just the right amount of cheese to tie it all together. Only thing is the size is a little smaller than some pizza place, so I would recommend ordering a size bigger. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. W called ahead to order and just picked up at the time. there was no line, so it was in and out in 5 minutes."
"Pretty good food at an amazing price. The lady cooking is quite a character. I really don't know how she does it all. She can be a little bit surly but she earns it and we appreciate her. Lol"
"Delicious pizza! Overall stuffed with toppings, great amount of sauce, cooked to perfection and great customer service. We ordered in store and received a discount for coming in, the pizza was cooked pretty fast with the amount of customers they had, wait time was only 15ish minutes. Inside was super clean, only thing location wise, is there are a few homeless camps in the area but that's pretty much Sacramento. Definitely give this place a try."
"We came here with our young kids on a Friday night and they were so welcoming. Excellent service, great food and wine, and live music. How can you go wrong?! Quaint and relaxing, one of the best Friday nights as a family. It felt like date night- with our kids! We will definitely be back!"
"First time going in since pre-covid. Had dinner the other day with my spouse. Birthday dinner, actually. We first tried a local steak house, who had almost a two hour wait for a table. Nuh uh.. Let's go to Formaggio. Despite a convention on premises and seemingly an entire high school in the lobby, we seated right away. Our server was Michael, who recognized us from years ago. Pleasant fellow. Food at Formaggio was good in the past but they really stepped it up since Covid. Wow, dinner was fantastic.Appetizer: Fried house made ravioli with a bed of sun dried tomato concasse and a tart house made sun dried tomato aioli drizzle 5/5Appetizer: Garlic bread 0/5Course: Chicken Parmesan 5/5 Course: New York Steak with gnocchi and roasted cherry tomatoes 5/5Desert: Tiramisu, obviously 2/5The ravioli were stuffed with a soft/delectable ricotta mixture and the ravioli had a wonderfully rubbery, yet crunchy exterior. The concasse and aoli really drove it home. The serving includes two ravioli and we were kinda wishing we ordered two, it was so good. The steak seemed to be aged, but I didn't ask. It was perfectly cooked and the gnocchi had a nice slight crunch and stuffed with mozz, I think. Really delish. Until then, I didn't like gnocchi.Tiramisu. To Marriott's defense, desserts are hit-or-miss regardless of quality and one could almost always find a better satiation of sweet tooth at a doughnut shop. A little plastic cup with two layers of whipped mascarpone and coffee flavor, crushed lady fingers on the bottom. Yeah, okay. It was good. Not much to say here. Like creme brulee - a bit cliche. Also, I can't say enough about Michael. He knows the menu really well and has great recommendations for pairings. Guy really shows passion for his work and we will be sure to sit in his section on future meals. This review would be 3/5 but Michael bumped it up. I believe our next visit will be Valentine's day where Formaggio does a special multi-course dinner and it's exceptional every year. Can't wait. The not-so-great: garlic bread. $10 for four bite-sized squares of baguette. Really? Come on man. Consumer price for a whole baguette isn't even a dollar. For $10 I expected a pretty big basket of bread with butter going down my wrist like melting ice cream. I mean, for food served at this level the bread is generally given away with some basalmic and oil. I wouldn't expect that at Marriott because they seemingly don't roll that way. But even then, I'd expect the two-inch-square garlic bread to be packed in buttery garlicky goodness. Nut no, it was just.. Boring. Meh. Avoid the garlic bread and double up on the fried ravioli - or save a Hamilton."
