"Had them cater my party for 100. Everyone took the time to come up to me and say they loved the food offered by Drewski. Enough selections for every taste. They arrived early to get everything ready. I highly recommend."
"I finished shopping at Trader Joe's and pumping gas at Arco near by. I was trying to decide what I was going to eat for lunch. Shah's Halal Food truck was a few yards away and caught my eye! Score!!!I walked up and was kindly greeted by the man at the counter. I ordered the lamb over rice. My food was handed to me in a paper bag at the side window, not too long after I paid. There was no more than a 2 minute wait. Once I grabbed my food, the man asked me what drink I wanted. Options were canned Pepsi or diet Pepsi, or water. Pepsi it is! I was excited smelling my delicious food through the bag. The lamb was calling my taste buds! Once I got back into my car, I took a few bites before I pulled out of the parking lot. Delicious!!! The rice was well cooked and flavorful, not sticky nor overcooked. The lamb was well seasoned and cut into into cubed, bite size pieces over the rice and lettuce. The sauce gave it a nice savory and spicy (I was asked if I want my food spicy when I ordered at the window) taste to it. I couldn't put my spork down!I definitely will order from Shah's again the next time I am in Davis. Thanks for lunch :)"

"Another first. Came this way just to ck this place out. My buddy Rob and I drove over an hour away to get this. So freaking glad we did. This was off the hook. This place was awesome! We had the special menu Palmita Mulita and DAM! Off the hook. It took a few xtra minutes, but be patient! It's worth the wait. Jesus took great care of us. This is a must place to stop if you're ever near by! I highly recommend this to you."
"A small little mom and pop shop located near florin and Franklin. It's really in the hood, but when you come in the place is nice and cozy and has a homey feel. The order takes who I assume is also the owner was very kind and sweet. We ordered a #1 with the pork tamale and #2 with pork tamale and asada taco. Everything was good, I was a tad disappointed they didn't have any fresh Agua Frescas but understandable since it looked slow. The tamales are huge. It was a little too dry for my liking but I smothered it in sauce and it was fine. Flavor was good though. Maybe I came on an off day, but I'll come back to try if anything."
"My friends said they have been coming to this taco trunk whenever they are craving tacos. There are a few customers standing there and I wasn't sure if there was a line. I asked around and proceeded to the order window. Perhaps it was difficult for the cashier to hear us. I'm unsure if it's loud inside the truck but we had to repeat our orders a few times. I don't think we waited too long for the food to come out. I appreciate that they are able to make my meal without cilantro, but with onions. A lot of places already mix those two ingredients together so I always have to go buy my own onion at the market. I wish I have ate my food right when we got them, perhaps in our car. By the time we got home, the tortillas are soggy and I did not think the meal was good. I'd love to come back and try this again, and will eat it while it's fresh."
"Habibi Grill is fire. Get the Habibi platter! It's got lamb, chicken, a few fries, a small salad, bomb rice, a few wedges of pita, a drizzle of hot sauce, and dreched with tzitziki. It's like 2 meals in one. Or one of you are an animal. If that doesn't excite you, the chicken wings are pretty decent too! Check it out. Also check the camel riding dudes art on the truck. Great food truck."
"Super fast service via the food truck. Ordered the "classic" without powdered sugar, which was super tasty!"
"Myokonos Fries $15 was PACKED with protein and fries. Great to share among a group.Parked in the gas station parking lot. Easy to spot.Nowhere to sit so we just ate in our car which was fine."
"Half Macaroni and Bacon and Half pulled pork and slaw frys... OMG!!They were so good that now I am in a food coma. The chipotle sauce kicked it off. More than enough to share."
"Best tacos I've tried up north so far!!! It's a bit difficult finding a bomb taco spot coming from Stockton.. however this taco truck is def comparable and in our top lists now."
"FRUIT FRENZIEWhat is not to like about them? Better yet, what's not to love about them?A few months ago I was driving down El Camino Avenue and spotted the Fruit Frenzie truck parked in the parking lot at the Little Whale Swim School (https://www.yelp.com/biz/little-whale-swim-school-sacramento). I pulled into the parking lot thinking to myself that a smoothie sounded pretty good. Come to find out, they were shooting a segment with Good Day Sacramento! I hung out to see what was going on from across the parking lot, and waited to try a smoothie. I stood there and watched as they filmed the news segment, unaware that they weren't actually open to the public. After they were done filming I made by way to the ordering window, but before I made it there I was met outside by Kimo one of Fruit Frenzie's owners. Kimo said they were not prepared to take payments for items and had limited product due to only being there to shoot a news segment, but would still gladly make me something. I decided that since one of my favorite fruits is mango, that I would just try a "Mahalo Mango Smoothie." Within a few minutes the other owner Dakota handed me my smoothie. She thanked me for coming. I tried to give them cash for my smoothie but Kimo refused and said " Just come back again" so I happily left, drinking my smoothie. WOW it tasted good. It was so refreshing with oranges, pineapple and mango. All those flavors burst in your mouth all at once. Once I got home, I looked up Fruit Frenzie to see where they were going to be located. I was excited to see that they are frequently at two separate locations close to my house! Thursday afternoons they go to the Little Whale Swim School and Sunday mornings they are parked at the Carmichael Farmer's Market. My wife and I have become repeat customers, ordering something from Fruit Frenzie about two to three times a month. Each time I get something different. There are so many different combinations to choose from, you never have to get the same thing and are bound to find a lot of things to love. They serve smoothies and bowls, which are thicker with a base and toppings.First things first. Choose your base. Aloha Anuhea (one of my favorites) - Strawberries, banana, and almond milk. It's slightly sweet and you can totally taste the strawberries.Dakimo - Dragon fruit, mango, banana, and almond milk. This one is good, but it has too much of a banana taste for me.Kanaka - Acai, strawberries, bananas, and apple juice. Mahalo Mango - mangos, pineapple, oranges, coconut milk, and coconut water. This is my go-to bowl. I just love all the citrus flavors that go into this bowl. Shaka - oats, banana, & homemade cold brew. I don't like this bowl very much, only because it has a strong banana and coffee taste. If you really like bananas and coffee, then this is a good one for you. It is my wife's favorite. This last base is Kalapaki made with hawaiian spirulina, peaches, bananas, and apple juice. This bowl is also one of my favorites. Don't let the green color throw you off, because the taste is great. I love how the taste of peaches comes up in the after taste, and even though the base has bananas in it, they are not too over powering. The best part about all the ingredients used to make these bowls is that they are all organic. After you pick your base, you get to pick 4 toppings. Toppings include all types of different fresh fruits and nuts, along with things like coconut shavings and bee pollen. There are probably around thirty different types of toppings to choose from.My go-to toppings that I frequently use are asian pears, strawberries, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, mango, sunflower seeds, and bee pollen. My wife's go-to toppings are cashews, coconut, banana, pecans, blackberries, raspberries, and apple. The next step in creating your bowl is choosing which nut/seed butter you are going to use. I personally use the honey sunflower seed butter. I think it makes my Kalapaki and Mahalo Mango bowls pop with flavor. Other butter you can choose from are chocolate hazelnut, macadamia and almond butter. My wife gets either the chocolate hazelnut or the macadamia nut butter on hers, but also loves the sunflower seed butter. There are other super boosts and power add-ins that you can add to your bowl, but I haven't tried any of those yet.If you are just ordering a smoothie, they are made from the same bowl ingredients, but are blended more so they can go through a straw. You don't get any toppings on your smoothie. They also sell oats and Hawaiian coffees. In all my times visiting the Fruit Frenzie truck, I have not been disappointed in the service, kind staff, and delicious freshness in my fruit smoothie bowls. Thank you Kimo, Dakota, Kayla, and Corinn for being such amazing people and bringing healthy fresh options to our community!"

Totchos are super enjoyable. We were at the KNCI Country in the Park (CITP) 2024 music festival at CalExpo and were getting hungry again around 8:00 pm. Early in the day we saw some people "wolfing" down a totcho. So we decided to try one - with steak. Yikes, $20 plus tip for one order. Food truck pricing and inflation. It was worth it. We would buy it again. We shared the one totcho.

This review is LOOOONG overdue!I've had Shah's so many times in undergrad and always make an effort to make a stop here if I'm going to Sacramento or Lake Tahoe.UC Davis nostalgia in every bite :)As an undergrad, Shah's Halal Food Truck was my ultimate treat on campus. Forget Halal Guys; this truck reigns supreme in Northern California! Many options on the menu, but nothing beats their iconic chicken and rice. I always get mine extra spicy with extra white sauce. The chicken is super tender and flavorful. And trust me, they're not holding back on the sauce! Road tripping through Davis? Don't miss this gem right off the freeway - quick, convenient, and oh-so-delicious.Highly recommend!

If you haven't had the Mulitas, Tortas, or Tacos here yet, you're missing out!! The food is . The people are super friendly take care of their customers. Follow them on IG for updates, specials, and business hours each day.My recommendations are:- Torta de Asada con todo, spicy (huge)- Mulita de Asada or Al Pastor con todo (get yourself 2 and you'll be straight. If you get 3, they won't judge)- Tacos de Al Pastor or Asada con todo (get you a 4 piece at least. I'm a big guy, and I could put away 6 on a hungry day, but 4-5 is usually more than enough, but again, they won't judge ).Enjoy.

In November, I attended the grand opening of the Howe Avenue location! They were giving away free tacos to the first 25 people. I was number eight in line. I've already tried this establishment via their taco truck in elk Grove so I was ecstatic that they were opening a spot in Sacramento on Howell Avenue in a great location. You have to try these tacos. You have to try the other things on the menu, especially those cheese, wrapped jalapeños! Everything is good fresh and definitely made with love! This is a family own business. They are the nicest people and I'm so happy I got to attend this event. It's a vibrant environment, but cozy as well.

Quick service, friendly staff, and good food. What more can you ask for? Came here for lunch got the two Habibi platters. It was a combo meal with lamb and chicken topped with some fries. It was a pretty large plate! I couldn't finish it all and my partner was super stuffed after finishing his. I think we could have probably shared a platter. For the price it was pretty worth it. Everything was nice and hot. I think he made it to order because it took about 10 minutes from when I ordered to receive my food. 10/10 would recommend and come back if I'm in the area!

Love that they have a storefront location!!! The kids and I were always trying to track down the trucks. We ABSOLUTELY love our bubble cones!! Now that we have made our first trip to the storefront location we will certainly be going back! Definitely worth the drive from Roseville. We left very full and satisfied.

When I was in Sacramento looking for something to eat and saw this food truck, I thought having a gyro sounded good. My food had a lot of flavor. The person running it was probably the owner, and he was amazingly friendly. The place is pick up and go.

"In California we eat food out of trucks, particularly Mexican food, and it's better. It's hard to explain to foreigners from other states, but this is one of those places that proves it.I asked the attendant at the gas station if it was a good taco truck, she gave me that knowing look like I was a young pirate who just discovered a great treasure. I decided to begin with the tacos. Let me just say, they do not skimp. They don't skimp on portions, they don't skimp on quality, on extras, or presentation. I am writing this in a minor food coma. Four tacos were a bit much. I was able to strip down from two tortillas to one. "It's always makes me feel like I'm making healthy dietary food choices, illusion that it may be." You're probably wondering if I ate jalapeño. Yes I did, I did sweat, but it made me feel very manly. Why are you still reading this! Go eat. The end."
"My favorite Taco Wagon in Sacramento County. If you're hungry and are jonesing for tacos, go to Tacos El Rey."
"Clean bright interior, quick service and friendly staff. heavy duty burrito with asada and loaded. will be back to do other goodies on the full menu. In the old D D s shopping srea."
"I want to start off by saying that the man in this truck has got to be one of the nicest humans in the whole world! Super friendly, easy to talk to, and so nice!! He even gave us a sample baklava (and it was the best baklava I've had in a hot minute!)To be honest, I don't have a single bad thing to say about this spot because not only are the prices so good for the amount of food and lower compared to other places, the food also tastes AMAZING. I mean, the chicken gyro was flavorful, saucy, and loaded with the right amount of toppings. The chicken itself was tender and juicy and I did not have ANY bad bites. Did I mention that the pita is also scrumptious?? It's soft and acts as a perfect vessel for the meat. I came here with my friend and we split 3 chicken gyros between the both of us. I think that was a perfect amount of food but one gyro is definitely filling on its own as well! Anyways, I would totally recommend checking this place out. The service is amazing, and so is the food!!"
"My favorite place for quesabirria tacos! I will go miles out of my way to go here.I like them so much I haven't even tried anything else here."
"Got the carne asada burrito bowl. The meat was seasoned good and not dry which lets you taste the meat with the other ingredients. Which I must say everything was fresh down to the Pico de Gallo.Service was very friendly. The gentleman operating the truck really is efficient.Truck looks clean and area is safe. Check them out"
"Drink was so good, taste just like the candy & the cookies were amazing, even my dad ate some. Service was great, the girl at the front was super nice. Love the feeling of the storefront"
"I can't not write a review for Birrieria Y Taqueria Velazquez. What an amazing gem located off Elder Creek in front of a truck company called Blueline Truck and Trailer Parts. I'm so glad I came here for lunch to get tacos. The service was excellent, the gal there was very nice and helpful. She double checked our orders to make sure what we (my sister and I) ordered was accurate, and even double checked to make sure if we want cilantro and onions or not.I ordered 4 quesa birrias, 1 cabeza taco, 1 tripa taco, and consomme for the birria. Waiting for our food was about a 5 to 10 minute wait considering there were 3 other parties ahead of us.The birria taco I tried was so flavorful and has 2 layers of crisp corn tortillas, birria meat well seasoned and tender, topped with onions and cilantro, and melted monterey jack cheese. Oh baby!$2.00 for street tacos, I got tripa and cabeza. OH MY GOSH! It is by far the best I've had in the Sacramento area. The tripa was seasoned perfectly, cleaned out with nothing inside, and crunchy like I was eating freshly fried pork skins. The cabeza was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. I think I've found my new favorite taco place!"
"I got two quesabirria tacos when they were outside Bike Dog Brewing in West Sac. Really good! Currently, they're $4 each, or you can get 3 for $10. They came with birria sauce, but I preferred eating them with the green and red salsa you can get on the side. Prob the best salsa verde I've had yet! The red salsa was a little too salty for my taste, but still really good. They're also really nice, friendly dudes running the truck. Will be trying more on the menu soon!"
"I've visited this place twice now and have no complaints with the food. There's even a free parking lot, so you don't have to worry about parking. The prices aren't exactly the cheapest but I still will stop by whenever I'm in the mood for Mexican. I'm glad to see there's another Mexican place in Sacramento offering vegan options. I've only tried the vegan fries and tacos. Both food options were amazing but I really enjoyed the vegan Al pastor fries. My boyfriend tried the birria tacos and he enjoyed them. I love that they are open on Mondays as nowadays a lot of restaurants close that day. There's plenty of tables and even some outside on a patio. I never wait more than 10 minutes for my food, which is nice. It's a solid choice for Mexican food and I know I will be back to try more vegan items."
"My goodness what a delicious taqueria. Three times Ina week time. We love the carne Al pastor and the carnitas. The service is impeccable. The place is nicely decorated and clean. As a Mexican I can only say fantastic work. You have my seal of approval. Congratulations taqueria el Tlacuache for a great job."
"Cool snack while having beef at track 7. Had the lumpia. You get 8 pieces of snack sized lumpia. They have green opinions and a sweet chili sauce. The service was nice"
"Bomb! Tender juicy meat with loads of flavor. Do yourself a favor and get a pastor Taco Loco! Wow! This thing is crazy good. Genius!"
"Parked on Lakeshore and Hanover on a Friday afternoon. in! Apple Pay Ready. Yummy smoothies for when you're walking around Lake Merritt."
"Tried Mudville for first time on lunch break. Had The jumbalaya sandwich which was so good I had to share with my friends. The owner/chef is very nice and did an excellent job of handling the lunch rush alone. Can't wait to try his mustard fried chicken. ...and he's respectful to the other food truck near him which speaks for itself."
"Ok..i went back and apparently I came at the wrong time. Its better to go during the day when the Brother is there. Let's get to the food. It was 100% better. My plate was significantly smaller but it taste better."
"I recently ordered Jayceon's Family BBQ through DoorDash, and even delivered, the food was absolutely top-notch! I got the tri-tip with a few sides, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The tri-tip was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and packed with that rich, smoky goodness. You can tell they take their time to get it just right. The sides were just as impressive--potato salad that's fresh and flavorful, and collards that had the perfect hint of sweetness. Everything tasted homemade and was clearly prepared with love. The best part? The quality wasn't lost in delivery. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and just as satisfying as if I'd eaten it straight from the kitchen.Beyond the amazing food, the owners truly make this place special. You can feel the care they put into every order, whether you're dining in or getting it delivered. If you're in Stockton and craving delicious, authentic BBQ, Jayceon's Family BBQ is a must. And with DoorDash, you can treat yourself without leaving home."
"LOVE THE FOOD!! I'm a HUGE Mexican foodie and this place always has great food. The asada tacos are my favorite and I've tried nearly all of them so definitely recommend these over the other options. I tried three of their tamales and I would suggest having the rajas con queso and the pork tamales but the chicken one was good as well. Also the portions and the prices are reasonable so definitely check it out and they have some daily specials. Asada Tacos: 11/10 Rajas con queso: 10/10 Pork tamales: 10/10Chicken Tamales: 8/10The service was great but the location is not the greatest. The dining option is an outdoor space that is covered and it's not in a great part of town. I'd suggest eating in your car or taking it to go."
