The whole restaurant is coated with a film of oil and dust. They cover everything in the kitchen in foil to save time on cleaning. Bad idea. It is just a husband and wife team and They are open everyday. They need either more staff or close 2 days a week to have some recovery time and cleaning time."

"Came here after finding Rice Theory was sold out and Tealicious was located in the same parking lot. We walked in and it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad before we were seated. Yelp said they were know for their roasted duck and roasted pork. We got the beef chow fun, roasted duck rice place, thin egg noodles with soy sauce, mango fruit tea, and taro milk tea. Took a while for all the dishes to come out. The duck came out first and the flavor was spot on! It was a little sweet but had a that nice roasted taste. Some of the pieces were more bone than meat which was disappointing. The chow fun came next and rice noodles were thick and soft. The thin egg noodles came last and was a little too greasy for me. The tea drinks were good but tasted like any other boba spot. Service was like your standard busy restaurant, a little messy and chaotic. The staff did their best to bring out the drinks and food quickly. It's nice to know a good roasted duck spot and we hope to be back!"

"Wonderful Chinese was one of our favorite restaurants in Elk Grove, and we were gutted when they closed. It was my dad's favorite restaurant and we have many wonderful memories from there. Parking is easy to find in their vast parking lot in the large shopping center they're in. We were promptly seated, and our drink orders were taken and received quickly. My wife and daughters opted for their lunch specials while I went with my usual, their chicken fried rice. My oldest loved the honey walnut shrimp lunch special. The lunch specials come with your choice of fried rice or white rice, won ton soup, an egg roll, and a fried won ton.My wife went with the sweet and sour chicken. Like everything there, the prices are fair, and the portions are large. I'd gladly make the trek from Elk Grove again and hope they consider opening another location here in the future."

But let's just say your car may get broken into when it's dark, like high probability. This restaurant sits on the corner of Broadway and Stockton. There's just a lot of homeless people walking around. Me and my partner ate inside at night at like 6pm when it was dark, and straight up we saw some "sketchy" people. The parking lot is super small, so that does not help. Also next to this place is a "smoke shop." This area is just not good and there have been a lot of failed businesses on this corner.The food was good, but gosh the location is just SUPER SUPER sketchy. Also, I don't really like the Indian Afgan and Chinese options. I would say just choose a culture and be great at it rather than a jack of all trades master of none situation."

"I always see this restaurant and have been wanting to try them. My husband wanted Chinese food for dinner and I suggested this restaurant. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, my husband's usual stand by, I ordered the Twice cooked pork belly, Chicken Kung Pao, and we also got Pork Chow mein. We were very pleased with the food and the portions, all of the food had SOOO much flavor!!! I am normally not the biggest fan of sweet and sour pork but this one was excellent, the pork had a nice crunch to the batter. The twice cooked pork belly was very yummy and had a bacon texture I wasn't expecting. I'm usually pretty picky with Kung Pao, and there's was excellent, the only thing missing for me which I'm used to was peanuts. The chow mein was excellent. We will definitely be returning customers, and I want to also give the dim sum a try. I can't wait to try more of what they have to offer, I'm just sad I haven't tried them sooner."

"This review speaks to No 1 Buffet space, accommodation and service. I didn't try the food. I was assisting my clients. Next time! I forgot to call ahead of time to see if they could accommodate 9 adult males on a Monday. Thankfully this location is large and has tons of seating. The waiters do a great job removing those extra plates so you don't look greedy. you rarely have to ask for a refill because they come around often. The eating area is clean and tables are space out enough you don't feel awkward while you are indulging a plate of crab legs. Next time I will come on my cheat day so I can enjoy the food and give an honest review. This review is just to let you know they do a great job accommodating large groups on short notice."

Our server Sandy was absolutely amazing. Extremely personable and had very good energy. She was very patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to try, offering suggestions that turned out to be excellent. I promise you our food started coming out about three minutes after we ordered. We had all of our food within 10 to 15 minutes. And the food was so good.Beautiful decor. Great food. Service was quick and I was already sipping on soup and snapping these photos in a couple of minutes. Even on a warm day, I enjoyed having the soup. Requested chopsticks but soup spoon, fork, and napkins come when the tray is served. Would have loved to have tried some garlic chili oil but could not tell if any were any available, as there were no condiments on the tables. Fair pricing, the wrapper was a little thicker than I'm used to, and the meats were all uniform in taste, size, and texture. The soup was flavorful and beautifully garnished with tasty green and white onions. Very good soup, I almost finished it all. If you like noodles, you can order some on the side, but to me, the dumpling wrapper was all the extra noodle I would want. Was able to finish the bowl, but could have easily saved half for later. Looks like they would have lids and baggies readily available for to go. Satisfying, good taste, fast, would definitely go again. Not many places still open in this part of downtown, so the good ratings here are well deserved."

However, one positive aspect is that they do accept EBT, making it accessible for those who rely on this form of payment.Now, let's switch gears and talk about the friendly and funny side of Lucky Express. Despite my initial disappointment, I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the name "Lucky" Express. Perhaps it's lucky for some, but unfortunately not for me. However, I have to give credit where credit is due, their service was fast. I guess when you have questionable meat, you want to get it out to the customer as quickly as possible before they realize what they're eating. The place is big and by 12:00pm was full and I went around just to see the foods selection again and it was always full and well stocks I was very impressed. My fav is the Mongolian stir fry bar, it was so fun to add the things you want to the noodle and there is an option to get tacos as well. There were many foods section mostly Asian foods but there is pizza and chicken wings as well. They also have great selection of sushi. It was only $14.99/ person. There are many desserts selections as well! Service was great! They always refill my water when it get low and they clear the table when needed. Can get dry tossed or soup based noodles, but personally dry tossed is the way to go. Self serve pickled vegetables is what makes this dish and it's fun experimenting with what works. Each bowl comes with soup and can be used to mellow out your bowl if you went overboard on the toppings. I don't know Chinese but have always had luck reading the number of the dish (A1, A17, etc) to the cashier and they are always super nice and friendly to me. The place can get very crazy at peak lunch and dinner time so it can be a little chaotic so be mindful of what time you come in cause there may not be seats at times."

Be sure to repeat this exactly from the menu so there isn't any confusion. I tend to get the Hong Kong Style Noodle treatment when I order this one. Are you sure you want that? Yes quite sure. Promise. Chinese Vegetable with Bean Curd. It is a beautiful medley of the Chinese vegetables I love, AND tofu (bean curd is tofu, mind blowing I know), nice and juicy, not fried, possibly braised, I'm not a chef, AND tofu skin, AND all of this is over a bed of thin noodles in sauce. It's easily enough for two meals, even three if you're not super hungry. Amazing. Presentation is also something to consider here. I've never seen a place cut carrot pieces into tiny little shapes. Flowers, geometrical shapes, even snowflakes. Wow. I also like the veggie egg rolls. They're crispy and have excellent flavor with minimal grease. My feller gets meat eater dishes and has enjoyed all of them so far. Customer service is great. No complaints. We have not dined in here together in a long time, so this is mostly a review for to go orders. Check out Jade Fountain if you like a real vegetarian menu and delicious food for a good price."

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this establishment. It was spicy, light, and incredibly fresh. This is our new go-to date spot. The chili-garlic noodles were phenomenal, and my husband LOVED the Szechuan chicken. I am already looking forward to going back.
