"We went yesterday to The Hungry Pecker where they were serving food. I had high expectations.....the tri tip was tender, but lacked flavor. If you just ate the tri tip outside the sandwich without bbq sauce...flavor was not there. Loaded tots were great. I am super picky about my Mac N Cheese, so for me, it was not good - but in all fairness there are very few BBQ places that have good Mac N Cheese IMO - so take that as you may. Potato salad was good, a little overpriced for the amount...but good none the less. Overall good value for the cost and portions."

"Okay, this is my absolute new favorite! Working with Food Simply was an exceptional experience. To begin with Camille is a gem. We worked with her to plan the event and find the right chef. Then the food was so innovative and fresh I loved how the chef styled each dish as if I was having a tasting menu. The quality of the ingredients was evident and the taste was truly delicious. I honestly never really enjoy catering to the point where I would rave about it as if I was at a fine dining restaurant, but this was it! That's the difference with hiring Food Simply! The private chefs at Food Simply have an appreciation for the art of cooking. And then they were incredibly accommodating to our specifications.I think I was downplaying how amazing the experience would be having a private chef at my house versus ordering catering in. To be honest, it felt bougie and perfect! I highly recommend Food Simply for your events. Even it's just dinner for two, it's really an upgrade from any other option!"

"When a person loves what they do it comes across in their product. I have never been disappointed with anything I've purchased from Urban Grill. Ribs, chicken, fried fish, perfectly cooked hot links (if it doesn't have any black on it put it back), slap yo mama greens omigawd, about to fight your own child over the cornbread, husband walking away to hide with all of the beans. I went to an event, it just seemed like the place was conserving energy on their light bill."

"We came here to watch the Unicorn Friday night football game that was broadcast on Peacock so that other places I called would not be showing the game. I try to eat healthy so the menu was a bit of a challenge but that is on me. I did look at the menu ahead of time and was happy that they had 2 non-alcoholic beer choices, mocktails and soft drinks. When the game started they also turned up the sound so that we could see the game on the many many TV's but could also hear it too.The waitstaff closed out ticket without asking but were happy to open a new one once we flagged them down to order more drinks. They were pleasant and helpful through the night. The inside dining space is small so it can get crowded but there is an outside area also."

Many recommendations for Dos Gringos came back, so we reached out. We were SO impressed! We ordered tacos for 20, and they provided three different meats of our choice (or veggie), they provided cilantro, two types of delicious salsa, chips, onions, limes, tortillas...basically EVERYTHING! We also ordered horchata, which was such a HIT! They even included the BEST rice I've ever had, fantastic beans, and corn riblets. I'll tell you...you will not go wrong with Dos Gringos catering your event. Fresh, hot, delicious...and they were VERY prompt. 100%, 5 star, A+++"

I also would like a light hand with the sauce and want high quality toppings that are a bit more creative than pepperoni. That being said, we hired Firevine sight unseen, pizza untasted for a bday party (about 20-30 adults and kids). Taking a chance? Yes. Satisfied with the pizza? Absolutely! Pizzas came out piping hot from the little mobile pizza factory parked in our driveway. Guests were raving and many said it was the best pizza they had ever tasted. David (the owner) and his staff are responsive, professional and will work with you to get the most out of your party and pizza experience. Now all we have to do is come up with another excuse to get David to come out and cook pizzas for us :)"

"THIS PLACE!!!! I am truly in awe. I attended a wedding last night where this company was catered. First of all let me start with, the food was beyond excellent. I'm a very picky BBQ judge. I have family members that can really get down on the bbq so I am a harsh judge.They definitely far exceeded any expectations. Not just the meat, the sides were fabulous as well. That potato salad should be on the market. But what I really wanna tell you about is the family. They showed up to a wedding that was chaotic. What wedding is it? They not only set up, and fed a large group of crazy family, but they were able to step in and clean up a mistake in timing with another food issue. I'm talking stepping in, correcting the problem, and I don't think a single guest knew that there was a problem at all. The entire family was absolutely delightful, professional and Very efficient. And Kelsey was truly amazing!!! I'm looking for an opportunity or a friend to hire them again very soon."

"BEWARE! Would not recommend nor would I EVER book them for any event ever again. Can I rate 0?? please!! I promise you it's well deserved. Unfortunately in order to post this review I have to give them 1 star. First off, they do not take the amount of food as agreed per number of people. We paid for 100 people, there must of been 30 people there and they claimed there's no more asada?? Really? No way!! that is straight wrong. Before they ran out of asada they were out of quesadilla cheese? With even less ppl?!! Luckily we had some in our kitchen and they did us "the favor" of preparing quesadillas with that cheese. Seriously? They should be ashamed of themselves. By the way quesadillas are not like food truck huge quesadillas they are small normal size flour tortillas.The food is not good, meat is over cooked, dried and flavorless. Salsa's are just as bad as the meats. Seasoning is just way off. The agua frescas were straight up bad, no flavor didn't even taste like horchata. By the way, never have I ever seen such small cups in my life!! Seriously!! Wish I had taken a pic of them. Their setup is not inviting nor appetizing. Same mediocre system as the rest of the service, very little cilantro, onion, radish and limes. Huge pieces of onion, "chopped" horribly, limes and radishes were cut very small of course to make the most of them. I wish they had done the same with the onion. The ladies that catered that day were not pleasant, never smiled, spoke very little Spanish and kept mumbling amongst each other to the point they were making the guests uncomfortable. Unprofessional Tip to the business owner, consider reconstructing the staff and catering system and do a taste test. We brought our dissatisfaction to one of the owners and we got a lame excuse about the staff being new. She also said she'd talk to her daughter about refunding us part of our money. It's been a few days and we haven't heard back from anyone. I really did wish I had one nice thing to say about this catering business but unfortunately I don't. Again this was my experience with the business. I wish I could say otherwise trust me. I would not recommend this place, I felt robbed and taken advantage of. This service was such a fraud I paid for something I didn't get. And what I did get was terrible; food and service. This just ruined my special day and event. You have been warned, don't let them ruin your special day. I wish they had reviews before I hired them could of saved me a lot of money and the embarrassment of food I offered my guests. What a disappointment =("

"My mom got me a Groupon to a cooking class for my birthday and we had so much fun learning how to cook Moroccan food together!The location is a bit shady and set up inside is kinda funky. They made us wait like 40 minutes to start while latecomers arrived. Please be on time if you sign up to attend a class, because everyone will have to wait for you to get there if you're late.Once the class started, we quickly became friends with the couple sitting next to us. We got to watch a demonstration of the teacher cooking the recipes, and then split into groups to make them ourselves. We enjoyed a generous sized meal at the end- I couldn't finish it all! We enjoyed a soup, chicken tagine, and baklava. We left with copies of the recipe. Housemade desserts were available for purchase at the end. This place would make a great date night!"

"Yesss! Just one visit......that's all it took. Located along HW 88 in Lockeford near the big cow in the sky (Lockeford Sausage Company). Love this little drive from Stockton. This visit was long overdue. I heard about this food truck through an amigo that works in Lockeford. Look for the red food truck, you can't miss it. TIP: Allie's has a little cycloned fence parking lot right behind the truck. I had the crunchy Asada taco and the al pastor quesadilla. The meat in both was finely chopped, tender, freshly cooked and very flavorful. The taco shell stayed crispy throughout its devourement. ( is this a even word?) The bottom of the shell was flattened so it could stand up. The cool crunchy water (lettuce) was crisp, not soggy, the pico was fresh too with some cool sour cream on top. Filling was plentiful. If you're really hungry, the quesadilla should be more than enough. Hot, fresh, meaty, with a great, melty, cheese pull throughout. They have frequent specials and really worth checking out. Lemon, jalapeños and chopped radish are sides. Their menu is extensive and to top it all off the young man taking our order was super friendly and informative. Check out Allie's sooner than later."

"For the record....if my great grandma was writing this-she would have given ten stars if possible. Chef catered a dinner to celebrate 90Years of my great grandma's life. He was kind and personable and hired great help. His assistant was my favorite! Now I'm a little biased as my husband is finishing culinary school. I've learned along with him the different terms and expectations the average customer wouldn't know. Chef was professional and got the job done. He made two simple appetizers of melon and prosciutto and shrimp in as hot glass with ketchup/shrimp sauce mixed together. Personally although it was delicious I wished it was a little original as all he did was peel the melon and get the ham out of the wrapper. So it was great but simple for a chef. But maybe a solution would be to be specific in what you're asking for!The dinner was served and it was great! It started with a simple salad with walnuts and blue cheese and cherry tomatoes. It seemed they were a little stressed as the rolls came out on their own after the salad plates were picked up. I'd prefer to have salad and rolls together. An appetizer with gnocchi and sundried tomatoes were next-and it was excellent! Creamy and delicious! The last dish was veil osso bucco with mashed potatoes and veggies. This was great too! I think it was a little under salted but there was no salt on the table. So four stars because it was awesome and great service and I'd only change a few things about my whole experience!!If you need an in house caterer---look no further!!!"

The food is good but the owner she's so pushy on register sales and she was rude when she knew their ice machine was down for fountain drinks, after i paid she said so sorry no ice ok. I said you knew that but didn't say anything and pushed us upgrade to a soda combos to drink warm soda? She said but it comes with fries so it's fine... seriously it's not. My last visit, she started taking our order and answered the phone we were stuck waiting because she didn't tell them to hold. Poor service."

Lemon chicken with fresh seasonal vegetables was sautéed with herbs moist and juicy. The capers were not over whelming with a pinch of pepper and tossed with lemon. Coconut pineapple cake was moist with a light cream cheese frosting. As my fork dipped densely into perfection my mouth watered with anticipation. This is definately a go to for dinner.
