"Great place to eat, great food, great service. I prefer to eat local and support local businesses and I can get behind and support this business. Definitely going back."
"Honestly I'd give them 3.5 stars, but I rounded up. Got the bacon breakfast burrito for myself and a cappuccino for my wife. She said the coffee was pretty bland and was disappointed. I had really high hopes for the burrito. The tortilla was super crispy which I loved. The salsa was incredible. The bean mash tasted really good too but other than that, it was also kinda bland. I really wanted to like it, but for $15 I don't think I'd get the burrito again. I've had better burritos in sac. The staff was super friendly, it was just one girl making coffee and one dude making the food. I called ahead and placed my order, otherwise I would have been waiting a while. It's super small inside, so I can see it getting packed really quickly. I definitely want to come back and try some of the sandwiches and that chocolate cookie. I'm not writing this place off just yet."

"I've known this place was hidden among offices for sometime but it wasn't until today I made up my mind to find this place and give it a try. No question, totally worth it. It's a very small cafe, I'm guessing they mostly serve the surrounding buildings, no signage on Douglas Blvd at all. When I walked in I was greeted right away by both intoxicating smells and a warm smile and greeting. There were a bunch of weekly specials listed on a white board but I also saw a regular menu item that looked great. I chose the chicken, mushroom and avocado sandwich. It was 7.75 and came with a 3oz. side of potato salad and pickle. They have a cold water dispenser to serve yourself water, if you forgot yours in the car like I did, or you just prefer water over soft drinks. There are MANY other options, burgers, breakfast items, ice cream and baked goods. It's obviously a place of regulars as I saw while I sat there and ate. All the folks who came in after me were called by name. I'm so happy to have found a little cafe that has such a great vibe. I felt like I was eating a sandwich that I had prepared for myself at home! Great homemade taste and comfortable setting. Looks like I have to come back and give there breakfast burrito a try. I also grabbed a to go menu to leave at the office for my coworkers to try!"
"The coffee and food is very good. Great outdoor seating by running stream. Great lunch specials. Chris, Kim and Stephen are very accommodating. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed."
"Decided to stop by this little cafe after checking out the casino with a relative. We were there on a late Friday morning and they sat us immediately. The speed and service were really good in my opinion. Got their CA omelet which wasn't bad but nothing to rave about. Also found it strange that they charged $2 extra if you wanted toast with your breakfast meal. Not a bad place at all though if you're hungry and want a quick but fresh bite to eat within the casino."
"Came here while waiting for my husband's endoscopy to be done. The batista was super friendly and made my iced coffee perfect! If you're wanting something on the sweeter side, try iced coffee with caramel and white chocolate.....SUPER yum."
"I'm embarrassed eating here without wearing at least a suit coat. The food here is AMAZING! Do you yourself a favor and eat here early and often. The bacon wrapped fillet is to die for as is the souffle. I'm always shocked to not see weddings and proms here. Oh well, more for me. And they have super cool plastic see through boxes to put your salad in. And dressing for the salad."
"One year ago: We visited the establishment during the soft opening as the owners were working through the flow and process managing a new business and serving customers. Decor and atmosphere was inviting, soft music was playing in the background creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. Menu options ranged from salads to smoothies to desserts all priced at reasonable prices relative to portion size. There was plenty of seating inclusive of larger party sizes, which is always a plus. Parking spaces were available, no projected shortage of available parking access as the cafe is located in a shopping plaza.Overall rating a 4/5, only due to speed of service. This past week: New additions to the menu now inclusive of various savory pies and a larger selection of teas and desserts. This has definitely become a popular community gathering place for people from different backgrounds and cultures to come and enjoy a quick bite.Rating remains to be a 4/5 due to speed of service."
"Great food and attentive service! We had a late breakfast on a weekday, so it was slow.I had coffee, veggie omelet with potatoes and biscuit. He had Esmeralda's turkey melt with fries. We split the Esmeralda's pancakes.WOW. The veggie omelet was amazing, full of broccoli, mushroom, onion, and yellow squash. The turkey melt had a perfectly jammy fried egg and was layered with turkey, grilled onion, mozzarella, avocado, tomato, and chipotle sauce. He devoured it. The fries were solid, everything was very fresh and came out piping hot. The Esmeralda's pancakes were beautiful and delicious, but definitely more if a dessert item. They came rolled and stuffed with Dulce de leche, and topped with whipped cream and a strawberry rosette.Coffee was hot, strong, and plentiful. Both dairy and nondairy options available. The space was immaculately clean and there were plenty of seating options. Our server was so kind and quick. We will definitely be back!"
"After driving by this place for years, my husband and I decided to give it a try. It's always empty so that should have been our first red flag. Our waitress had a really hard time understanding our order which made for an awkward experience as there was a language barrier. We saw another table complain about their order taking so long which ended up being our experience as well. The other table also sent their food back. Ours was ok, very very plan and not the tastiest thing ever. My fruit was moldy and that was enough to have me end my meal early. Overall awful experience and we won't be back."
"Definitely worth a stop. Best coffees and teas I've ever had. Everything was delicious. There was a nice assortment of yummy fresh baked goods. Inside the cafe there's plenty of seating to enjoy your refreshments. The outdoor patio is huge with lots of room to stretch your legs or sit and enjoy the river view. This would be a great location for a wedding or party. There is a raised stage outdoors. Lot of convenient parking. Interestingly, the cafe has an extensive collection of vinyl records for sale. A fun place to stop. They also have an Airbnb in the back that is beautiful. Definitely coming back"
"We stopped here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The waitress was very friendly and led us to the patio where we wanted to sit. Lovely environment with tons of plants. I ordered an omelette and my husband ordered eggs with corn beef hash. Both were huge and delicious. We would definitely stop here again if we're in the area."

Greenhouse Cafe embodies all the best things that a local neighborhood cafe offers... tasty food served by the nicest staff. The signature menu items that I absolutely find to be the best around is the turkey club sandwich and eggs benedict. For the sandwich they use real fresh roasted turkey. Ohh that makes a huge taste difference. The bacon is cooked to a perfect crispness, no rare edges and not burnt either. The egg benedict's hollandaise sauce is fantastic. Smooth with a just right consistency and emulsification. Flavorful, buttery with oh so slight lemon taste. The eggs are poached to treat you to a show of egg ooziness when pierced. On days they are short staffed, they tape a sign on the front door indicating that and apologizing for the possible longer service times. In any given day, you'll probably see Claudia, the owner, working. She has a great friendly demeanor.Another thing to note is the bathroom situation. It's located around the corner of the cafe. To access it, you'll need to ask for the key. It's kept clean.

This cafe was in walking distance from my Airbnb so I decided to check it out early morning.I ordered some hot drinks, a breakfast sandwich and 2 pastries. When I arrived back to my rental, I discovered my pastries were not packaged and had to walk all the way back to the cafe; I didn't mind at first. But, the worker didn't really apologize, quickly gave me the sweets and disappeared in the back. I normally have pictures of what I ordered, but was in a rush this morning due to the mishap with the cafe. But, all the food and drinks were average at best. I don't imagine myself coming back.

The food here is consistently delicious! Friendly service that is fast. I really enjoy all the yummy food. Recently I became unable to eat gluten and The lovely owner made me the most yummy gluten free chicken avocado with melted cheese concoction! It was Devine! Also, she has a Mediterranean rice dish with yogurt sauce that she makes occasionally that I am completely in love with!!! Check out this hidden Gem that is only usually known to those of us working in the surrounding business offices! I always dive into my food so I don't have pics.

The only thing good about having my husband in the hospital for a week was being able to visit Tiferet for coffee and a friendly smile. Their coffee and snacks are delicious and the staff are kind and welcoming. I was grateful they had wifi to do a little work and escape the hospital vibe with some fun background music and a warm, peaceful environment. Would recommend a visit, even if you aren't visiting the hospital or Medical Center. An awesome woman-owned business you should support and a great alternative to the hospital cafeteria.

The Cottage Cafe is located in the federal building but is open to the public the food is very good and a major upgrade from the last vendor that closed after the government shut down October 2013. Ok the food: they have an excellent salad bar with lots of variety. They have tuna and chicken salad on the bar in addition to mesclun greens and other healthy stuff. They also have a kale and apple salad and the dressing is light and healthy. I also will get the special salad of the day which is mixed fresh by the chefs. I really love the gat cheese and chicken salad. Their grilled chicken is delicious and the salads are huge. They also offer wraps. I love the Cesar salad wrap. They usually have 3 or four daily hot entrees to choose from. You can also get a made to order sandwich or get burgers and fries. For breakfast, people rave about the breakfast burritos and the sausage gravy. They have homemade salsa too! Their bacon and sausage is good. When I eat breakfast I will hit up the salad bar for fruit and cottage cheese or I like to get an English muffin breakfast sandwich. So yummy and always hits the spot.

As mentioned decor is unique, inviting, uplifting and delightful. Service takes awhile but is BEYOND worth the wait! Work of art, that cannot be rushed! Every bite, every drink flavorful, decadent, rich and satisfying! Drinks are special; each flavor comes through. Portion size huge.Only critique; hire someone to come in and do a deep clean; especially on furniture.

"On our way to Lake Tahoe, we always stop in Placerville to charge our electric car and visit Pachamama Coffee. They roast their own coffee beans, and you can even buy some to take home.I had the most delicious vanilla latte here for the first time, and my husband tried the Americano, which was also excellent. We highly recommend stopping by for a cup of hot or iced coffee!"
"I just love this place!!! The food is always delicious - such fresh ingredients and fun flavor combinations. Smoothie bowls, sandwiches and breakfast bowls are just delicious! I usually come on my own and today brought my family - all four of us devoured our meals and declared we'd be back together. My kids split a strawberry lemonade and it was incredible! Fresh, not overly sweet and no fake flavors at all - fresh made lemonade blended with strawberries - so tasty! I really love that they have metal cups and trays and use the least amount of plastic possible."
"10/10 would recommend! We sat outside overlooking the fountain. I had an amazing lunch with my friend. She had the salad and I had the grilled cheese on sourdough. The drinks were good- Arnold Palmer with passion ice tea. It was airy and lots of sunlight. Very minimal service as you order a head of time then provided with a number , they bring your food to you. However you bus your own table. You get your own silver ware. No issues there just an observation (for those not aware). Great lunch spot not sure if they do brunch there . I would love to come back and try other items on the menu."
"We went up to Sutter Creek today for a family outing. I checked the Yelp reviews yesterday and came up with 6 lunch options. We had 6 Adults and a pair of grandkids and I guessed some restaurants weren't going to have a big table for all of us. This place looked fine though.Corina and I split a Pastrami Reuben on sourdough. They served us on two plates and each of us got one of their yummy dill spears. The 1/2 sandwich was the perfect size for each of us and they were great tasting. I had a cup of delicious clam chowder on the side and an Amador Dirty Blonde ale that was pretty tasty. I need to find a source for that down here in Elk Grove. We will come back here again."
"When my manager asked if I wanted to join her for lunch at the golf course, I didn't have very high expectations. So, I was pretty surprised when we walked in and the place was nicely decorated to fit an airplane theme.I ordered the Bomb Burger (bacon & cheese) combo and it came out to be a little over $10, which included fries and a drink. Even though the person making our food was understaffed and was handling everything himself (running the register, taking phone orders, AND making the food), the food still turned out spectacular. Perfectly crisp fries and a delicious burger that had perfectly cooked buns with crispy edges. Well worth the value!Plenty of seating and wasn't crazy busy with the occasional golfers wandering in. There's outdoor seating as well so you can enjoy the luscious green view of the golf course if you please.P.S. You can even call ahead to place your order in!"
"I decided to order a triple decker club and fries for pick up on Sunday so I didn't have to cook for football. I called to place the pick up order and was told they did not take phone orders bcz it was busy at the restaurant, so I decided to wait at the counter for it. And it did take awhile close to 30 min. I enjoyed reading a free spiritual booklet while waiting..... It was a delicious sandwich and the fries held up on my travel back to the game. We were very happy and will go back for this club sandwich."
"Food: 5/5Drinks: 3/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Seating: 5/5Parking: 2/5I came on a Monday around 5:30pm in October. It was not busy with only a few other patrons. There is a very small, private parking lot in the back that could fit 6-7 cars at most. Otherwise, you'll have to do street parking which most around is 90 minutes only from Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm. I found some street close street parking that was 2 hours from 8am-6pm. The first impression as you walk up is it's very pretty as it's decorated with lots of plants. There is so much shaded outdoor seating along the sidewalk and a large outdoor patio. The weather was still hot so there were water misters to keep it cool on the sidewalk seating. For the patio, there are ceiling fans. There is so much seating indoors from booths to cushioned chairs, all very comfortable. The music is moderately loud. It's cool and conditioned inside I even put on a jacket. The ambiance was nice and casual to bring friends, families, or dogs and hang out or even study for a long while. Note that none of the seating seemed to have outlets. As you enter, there's a menu at the door and when you're ready to order, you pay at the counter. Then, you grab a number and can sit anywhere in the restaurant. The service was very nice, conversational, and provided my food in a timely manner. There is a self-serve water station. Besides providing your drinks/food and picking up your dirty dishes at the end of the meal, no one really checks in as it seems more of a self-service style. The tables are kept clean. I sat by one of the many tables next to the windows and there were some flies on the windows but they didn't bother my food. I don't blame the establishment, it's hard to control for bugs when there's a lot of plants and there are multiple large doors constantly being opened. For drinks I ordered an iced Matcha Latte with soy milk. Per the sign at the counter it looks like partnered with Temple Coffee to make the drinks. Personally, it does not taste made with authentic matcha powder as it is very sweet but I still loved it.For food I ordered the Brie & Candied Bacon Burger (comes with regular fries) that was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. It was delicious and you can choose how cooked the patty you want. I also ordered the Curtis Park Fries which were not too spicy and deliciously saucy. I think the food was delicious and will definitely return to try other items such as the crepes. Overall, a great casual place to spend some comfortable time at. A bonus is they are open very late (until 10pm)."
"This place has good food over all and its fast and very affordable. You can text orders and customize sandwiches and salads. Very friendly local business."
"The food here is amazing, stopped in on a lunch break and I will definitely be back. The service was also great and fast. The inside blow a good size and was nice and clean."
"Met a friend for coffee at Bella Bru. Neither of us had been here before. It is so much more than coffee. I'll be back to try the food. It looked amazing. PS They never made us feel rushed even though we were just having coffee and were there over two hours. Thank you Bella Bru for your welcoming environment. See you soon."
"This was a great neighborhood coffee shop with a twist. I really enjoy Ethiopian food and their coffee is always freshly made. Although on this encounter, I did not partake in the food the smells really had me engaged and wanting to take a plate home. I ordered the Ethiopian macchiato and it was very delicious. I requested that it wasn't made sweet so I can enjoy the flavors. The service was very quick and attentive. I definitely will be back for another round and hopefully a plate of food as well."
"This is a solid little hole in the wall cafe 3.8/5. I'll start with the service. Our waitress was sweet and friendly and my husband's coffee cup was never empty. Service was 10/10. The decor is ummm, very patriotic. Like someone threw a 4th of July party but never took down the decorations. The place could use a good dusting on all of the decor. It's very homey. Most of the food was good. I really enjoyed my Larry's scramble. It's like an open face grilled cheese with sausage patties and scrambled eggs on top. I opted for my gravy on the side. The food is very homey like what your grandma might make only a bit smaller on the portion size. My potatoes were very good but could have cooked a few more min. 8/10 for my plate. The Monte Cristo was 6.5/10 the inside of the bread was too soggy for me and the size of the food wasn't worth $12.50 in my opinion. The gravy was good. 7/10. The biscuits unfortunately were a miss. 5/10 along with the pancakes. 5/10. We would definitely go back and I'd like to try something off the lunch menu. Overall 7/10."
"Coffee and waffles are as advertised! Tiny location with only a few parking spots. We ordered a mocha, chai and a regular waffle and enjoyed all three a lot.Good outdoor seating with limited indoor seating. Also would be fun to stop on a walk/bike ride from the trail. Only qualm was prices weren't updated and was getting charged more since the signs weren't updated. More like 4.5 for me."
"I absolutely LOVEEE this place. First of all, it's vegan in wilton which is rare and I'm so happy about it!! The owner is so sweet and cheery and is very knowledgeable on coffee. It's super nice to have a coffee "shop" or trailer 5 minutes down the road from me. Coffee is wonderful. My favorite it an iced lavender latte with oat milk."
"Great place to grab breakfast or lunch... just don't expect fast service. The Happy Mouth is the former "Mega's Cafe" and I have been going here for years. Ownership changed around mid August 2024. So, if you've visited prior to this- I suggest you check them out again! I think they kept most of the good and improved the things that needed improvement. A majority of the menu is the same, with some items added and some removed. For example, there used to be a "smothered" breakfast burrito that is no longer on the menu. They have expanded the drink selections significantly and have a bunch of different "Red Bull Infused" drinks. I've heard these are very good... but energy drinks aren't my thing anymore. This is definitely still a small town place. You walk in and you can smell the food cooking because the ventilation has never been very good. You'll smell like the food after you visit even if you get your order to go. Depending on what you order, expect to wait 10-20 minutes for your food. They don't do fast food, they do good food as fast as they can. I think the old owners used to have this posted. Overall, serving times have definitely improved. When I would visit the place before the new owners, there would be times I'd have to wait over 40 minutes! I've since been a few times and it's never taken over 20. They also used to serve everything in styrofoam containers (even if you didn't order to go) which I always through was weird and uneconomical. They now will serve food in trays and sometimes paper plates. They now use clear plastic containers for to go orders. I think it's a better option than styrofoam. The place really is very good! My go-to is always the country breakfast burrito. It has all the breakfast meats along with cheese, potatoes, and gravy. It's served with salsa (probably Pace or something similar) and sour cream. It is HUGE and for $12 also a great value. I've never been able to eat the whole thing so I usually just eat half and save the other half for the next day. It's very tasty and I think they switched the potatoes because the last one I got I noticed had red skinned potatoes... which made it even better. Do yourself a favor and try this burrito if you haven't... I'm sure you'll enjoy.I will also get a burger occasionally. I like the Wildfire Spicy burger because it comes with green chilis and spicy mayo. The burger is always cooked medium well and is very juicy (never dry), even though I believe the patties are previously frozen. I do like the new potato buns they use opposed to the old sesame buns when it was Mega's that were somewhat dry. I ordered with potato salad which was ok.The baked goods are all phenomenal. They are made from scratch and always fresh.Thank you Happy Mouth for having good food at a decent price! You definitely make my mouth (and my wallet) happy!"
"Great selection of pastry and breakfasts.Lots of parking and welcome entry with full cases of fresh colorful pastry. You order at one of two counters. Pastry and coffee on the right. Breakfasts and beverages on the left in front of the open kitchen. They give you a table number and they deliver. It's an expansive casual dining room with a quieter atrium area that sits about 75. Also, a private style dining room. Looks like a regular crowd of families, seniors and laptop users early in the day. You can get adult beverages and that's a plus for day drinkers, golfers and hectic moms. Tried Spinach and Cheese Croissant and a crisp Cannoli. Bro got the Breakfast Sausage plate and a Beermosa. Well staffed with young servers buzzing around dropping food and bussing tables. Prices are still reasonable. Great for long breakfasts. Suggest that they consider briefly warming up and toasting the cold danish and rich croissants."
"Coffee runs through my veins........Ive been through Roseville and needed a Jolt and Tim's Ice coffee with a couple of shots thrown in does the trick. he has a really nice place and a large variety of Coffee drinks to offer and teas as well. Whenever I am in the area I'll Stop in for a Coffee fix from Tim... you should too!"
"We visited Jamie's Café in the Sacramento Elk Grove area for a weekend breakfast with family, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The photos on Yelp helped us decide to try this spot, and we're so glad we did!We arrived around 8:30 AM and were seated right away. The staff quickly set up a table for our group of nine and made us feel welcome. They offered a variety of drinks, including juice, flavored teas, water, and mimosas with flavors like peach, mango, and pomegranate, all served in charming mason jars. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the deep-fried French toast with strawberries, avocado and egg toast, Grandma's biscuits and gravy, and Dad's Mash Up. Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The café itself is beautifully set up, adding to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere.By the time we finished around 10 AM, the place was extremely busy, so if you don't want to wait for a table, it's best to go early. We did receive tea refills once, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating overall. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in the area, Jamie's Café is definitely worth a visit!"
"Just amazing location, that always does a great job! Great pastries, coffee, breakfast lunch sandwiches. Amazingly friendly staff and atmosphere, young man at the counter with dark hair took my order and I made mistake and he fixed my order with no problem. Great management!"
"Food: did not try any as we just had the coffees! The drinks were delicious, I do think the prices are high but again, everything is expensive post covid Service: good service, nice people Ambiance: such a cute ig'rammy place, every corner deserves a picture"
"So happy West Sac has a good sandwich spot. I had a pastrami sandwich and it was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. The space was clean and light. Prices are very reasonable. Give it a try!"
"Karen's bakery has been in Folsom for over 20 years and I would come here when I lived here. All the food is phenomenal!! Today I had the petite breakfast, scrambled egg was perfectly cooked, not dry and not 'wet' just the perfect point. Their bacon is thick and cooked to the perfect bendable state, not crunchy and not 'limp'. The fruit is fresh and so tasty. You have your choice of coffees, I chose dark roast. Just as good today as it was 20 years ago."
"4-ish stars rounded up. Pretty solid coffee shop that's right off of the I-80 freeway! Mocha was quite roast-y in flavor with even a fruity flair to it. Reminded me a lot of a mocha that I had elsewhere that also gave chocolate-covered-cherry vibes. Drink was on the strong side too so recommend especially if you (still) have a long drive ahead of ya.As for pastries, the cashier/barista recommended the sweet cheese croissant (she said it was one of her faves). Tender pastry with filling that kinda reminded me of the cheese filling used for danishes. Tasty! The bear claw was even more tender and although the amount of almond paste filling was less than anticipated the pastry still had a strong almond flavor to it. My favorite pastry that I tried though was the morning bun. Super soft and fluffy! Also had a nice light cinnamon taste. It was like a very humble, icing-less, cinnamon roll lol. The blueberry lemon scone was rock-solid tough with a little too much browning at the bottom but the taste was still on-point.Very friendly cashier/barista. Indoor and outdoor seating (I enjoyed sitting outside listening to the freeway white noise lol the freeway is that close). Visited on a weekday afternoon and had no problems finding lot parking."
