Benjamin G. "I was lucky enough to come here on a beautiful sunny day. Sandwich was brought to my friend and I by Adrian, who hands down provided the best deli service I have ever received. He brought us house made jalapeño ranch on his own initiative and came back out to wrap up my sandwich to go. If you are in midtown and need a quick bite, and want some service that'll make your day, come here. Fuck you subway."

Shanae M. "10/10 would recommend! We sat outside overlooking the fountain. I had an amazing lunch with my friend. She had the salad and I had the grilled cheese on sourdough. The drinks were good- Arnold Palmer with passion ice tea. It was airy and lots of sunlight. Very minimal service as you order a head of time then provided with a number , they bring your food to you. However you bus your own table. You get your own silver ware. No issues there just an observation (for those not aware). Great lunch spot not sure if they do brunch there . I would love to come back and try other items on the menu."

Ko H. "We visited Jamie's Café in the Sacramento Elk Grove area for a weekend breakfast with family, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The photos on Yelp helped us decide to try this spot, and we're so glad we did!We arrived around 8:30 AM and were seated right away. The staff quickly set up a table for our group of nine and made us feel welcome. They offered a variety of drinks, including juice, flavored teas, water, and mimosas with flavors like peach, mango, and pomegranate, all served in charming mason jars. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the deep-fried French toast with strawberries, avocado and egg toast, Grandma's biscuits and gravy, and Dad's Mash Up. Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The café itself is beautifully set up, adding to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere.By the time we finished around 10 AM, the place was extremely busy, so if you don't want to wait for a table, it's best to go early. We did receive tea refills once, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating overall. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in the area, Jamie's Café is definitely worth a visit!"

They made us feel HELLA LOVED and hand crafted some HELLA YUMMY pistachio lattes! They also had a super fun open mic while we were there (Tuesday evening). Can't wait to come back to Coffee Republic and enjoy more chill time there."

The counters have a wide variety of food (both hot & cold) and desserts, all beautifully prepared with fresh local ingredients. Their wood fired pizzas are excellent.M. Although expensive, the food is delicious and worth the price.Artisanal cocktails are available at the bar, that are beautifully prepared. There is plenty of seating options, both inside and on the patio. This place is popular and can be quite crowded depending on the time of day."

Janelle M. "After driving by this place for years, my husband and I decided to give it a try. It's always empty so that should have been our first red flag. Our waitress had a really hard time understanding our order which made for an awkward experience as there was a language barrier. We saw another table complain about their order taking so long which ended up being our experience as well. The other table also sent their food back. Ours was ok, very very plan and not the tastiest thing ever. My fruit was moldy and that was enough to have me end my meal early. Overall awful experience and we won't be back."

Rebecca P. "this resteraunt stands out tremendously, but for reasons surprisingly besides just having yummy food. I work nearby on occasion for my job, and of course there are days I forget to pack my lunch therefore seeking out a nearby spot to grab some food. This place is located right next to the capital on L st and yes the parking is terrible due to the construction currently happening at the capital so walking from nearby is recommended. Coming in you notice the owner greeting and having conversation with almost every customer. Knowing them by name and talking to them as if they have all been long established friends. First time coming here the owner threw in some coconut rice for me to try for free, and second time I came we were able to chat for a second and exchanged names. I feel like I'm already part of the family. Food is made with love and delicious. The chicken roti wrap is a chicken curry with potatoes and wrapped in a flaky flatbread. Very flavorful and tender potatoes. I also love getting the pholourie that comes with almost a tamarind chutney?? Whatever it is I love to drizzle it inside the roti wrap and it's just *chef's kiss*Cute interior, amazing people, and a whole new cuisine of delicious food to devour, what else could you need?"

I called to place the pick up order and was told they did not take phone orders bcz it was busy at the restaurant, so I decided to wait at the counter for it. And it did take awhile close to 30 min. I enjoyed reading a free spiritual booklet while waiting..... It was a delicious sandwich and the fries held up on my travel back to the game. But I'm glad to try this place out:We decided to do family style so we tried out a bunch of dishes:Sorry no picture because food came out fast and we ate it also very fast.First the ginseng chicken soup was a nice light starter. We were a party of 8 so it was on the small end. They decided to give us a free tomato beef soup to give us a little more. It was my friend's birthday so maybe that's why we got some freebies! We also got free ice lemon tea. It was soooo good .. I got a refill We all enjoy the eggplant with fish dish. Can't go wrong with the fried squid either. The long tentacle bit was battered right for a perfect crunch.Curry chicken was ok I don't like chicken stuff in general.Dried scallop fried rice was good , light to go with the other dishes. There was a pepper honey beef ribs , the flavor was good but it was a little chewy so use your hands to eat easier.Garlic yu choy was solid. Then we did karaoke for 2 hours and had a lot of fun. Pretty good place. The food hit right during our visit and the service was good. Not understanding the negativity"

Decor and atmosphere was inviting, soft music was playing in the background creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. Menu options ranged from salads to smoothies to desserts all priced at reasonable prices relative to portion size. There was plenty of seating inclusive of larger party sizes, which is always a plus. Parking spaces were available, no projected shortage of available parking access as the cafe is located in a shopping plaza.Overall rating a 4/5, only due to speed of service. This past week: New additions to the menu now inclusive of various savory pies and a larger selection of teas and desserts. Austin, the manager, is such a friendly & hospitable person to chat with. He is passionate about the flavor creations he tinkers with, & all the syrups are made in-house. He's happy to explain the menu to new customers. We enjoyed the seasonal pumpk.n spice as a foam.top iced latte last time, & found it just as tasty as a hot latte this time around. It is really flavorful, & I wanna say it has a delightful floral note.We also tried the seasonal mint.d mocha as a hot latte & liked it. It was subtly flavored, but enjoyable. I think the syrup settles to the bottom, so swirl as you sip. Neither drink is too sweet, & both were at a warm vs hot temperature. We ordered the cafe.bar.wich with a side of green chile lime sauce. It was packed with flavor & rich from ingredients like buttery bread, mayo, & bacon. The lime sauce is a must--a delicious bright note that cuts through all the richness. We previously tried the cruz (very interesting combo of strong coffee and chai with a distinct lavender floral note) & a club.nini (another tasty, but super rich sandwich), which were great. This is part of the Sacramento Youth Center, so a very worthwhile organization to support. It's a very small cafe, I'm guessing they mostly serve the surrounding buildings, no signage on Douglas Blvd at all. When I walked in I was greeted right away by both intoxicating smells and a warm smile and greeting. There were a bunch of weekly specials listed on a white board but I also saw a regular menu item that looked great. I chose the chicken, mushroom and avocado sandwich. It was 7.75 and came with a 3oz. side of potato salad and pickle. They have a cold water dispenser to serve yourself water, if you forgot yours in the car like I did, or you just prefer water over soft drinks. There are MANY other options, burgers, breakfast items, ice cream and baked goods. It's obviously a place of regulars as I saw while I sat there and ate. All the folks who came in after me were called by name. I'm so happy to have found a little cafe that has such a great vibe. I ordered a bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado sandwich on wheat bread. The vegies on my sandwich were super fresh, with bright, vibrant colors. No wilted lettuce here! There was a generous amount of bacon on my sandwich. The bread was baked in house and tasted good, but it had broken apart before I even picked it up, and with each bite, more of the bread just broke away. It made eating the sandwich a hassle and a mess. I finally gave up and used a fork.My spouse ordered the tuna melt, which he reported as excellent. His bread held firm, either because it was grilled or because it wasn't wheat. All in all, very good and I'd eat here again, but I won't order wheat bread, even though it is my favorite."

Breakfasts and beverages on the left in front of the open kitchen. They give you a table number and they deliver. It's an expansive casual dining room with a quieter atrium area that sits about 75. Also, a private style dining room. Looks like a regular crowd of families, seniors and laptop users early in the day. You can get adult beverages and that's a plus for day drinkers, golfers and hectic moms. Tried Spinach and Cheese Croissant and a crisp Cannoli. Bro got the Breakfast Sausage plate and a Beermosa. Well staffed with young servers buzzing around dropping food and bussing tables. Prices are still reasonable. Great for long breakfasts. Suggest that they consider briefly warming up and toasting the cold danish and rich croissants."
