"Went around 2pm to grab a quick beer. Clean and chill area, bartender was nice and helpful. Sat outside and listened to the clang of drivers which was relaxing. Definitely want to come back and check out the happy hour fare (3pm)"
"New owner. Went for the prime rib. Excellent! Large piece, brought most of it home. Vegetables cooked perfect. My husband had the chicken piccata. He said he would definitely have it again. Tried the carrot cake. Different than the usual carrot cake, I can't even explain how good it was! We didn't think we could eat it but it was so light and the chocolate topping..... let's just say our plates were licked clean. Thanks Vinny. Will definitely be back."

"Excellent burger, hot fries, yummy peanut butter shake. I really can't believe it took me 30 years to finally try this spot. Out of my range but so worth it. Definitely recommend!"
"I love Mr. Pickles sandwiches because they offer a large selection of veggies unlike some other sandwich locations. If you ask, you can add cucumbers to your sandwiches as well. They are pretty small, though at this location! Not too much space for sitting and parking outside. The food quality is always delicious and fresh. I say four stars instead of five only because they usually take quite a while to prepare the sandwiches, even though they aren't very busy. So just be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes for your sandwich!"
"Have heard nothing but great things about this place and have been wanting to go. Today was the day! Rainy, cold and ready for tacos, because tacos make everything better! Walked in the kid at the register had a huge smile on his face and greeted us. Husband said we haven't been here before what do we do! He suggested different things and I settled on trip tip tacos and hubby got the breakfast burrito! Enjoyed all the pictures all over the walls! Luck was on our side we found a little table in the corner. Quick service got our food and it was HOT! Their salsa had some great flavor and the shells on the tacos were perfection! Now I know why everyone raves about it! So happy I got to experience it first hand and will be back!"
"Let's begin with how amazing our server, Julian was. Very attentive from the time I sat down. Also, he was very helpful. My food was delicious as I had the grass fed habanero burger. Comes with lettuce, red onion, tomato, habanero cheese, bacon and a side of fries. The restaurant is very nice has indoor outdoor setting. Chill environment to hold a conversation over a meal. Will go back again."
"Consistently good service and food.Old school feel.Chocolate shakes and cheeseburgers are my favorite."
"Amazing fries and burgers. The service was great and didn't have to wait too long to order or get my food. Although this is a food truck the food is so good we will definitely be back for more."
"Just a quick note to state that the customer service here is top rate. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Clearly there is a process in place starting from management all the way to all workers. Just wanted to recognize that as service usually varies from place to place, but Burgher Lounge is always super consistent."
"Definitely hard to find. But this place is inside of "The Press Club". You might have to be 21 to simply eat there cause it is a bar/club.. You make your order with the bartender and they do have a section of like 3 tables where you can sit and eat your food but it's loud from the music. Otherwise super good!"
"Great customer service, super clean dining and bar area, menu consistent with when I was here a few years ago. New owner, same cooks and wait staff. Diverse menu including various burgers, salmon sandwich, fish tacos, various salads including the chopped Cobb which was excellent. Fresh Romain, HB egg, avocado, grilled chicken, blue cheese. Delicious. Reasonably priced. Lots of craft beers and also alcohol free options and sodas. I was headed elsewhere which ended up being closed, so I remembered Broderick's. It was a great dinner with the best company."
"They have one of the best creamiest ice cream I have ever had! The Staff and the Owner are super friendly and helpful!Honestly, yall have to give it a try!"

Went for their monthly Sunday brunch. Everything was neat and clean, and great very pleasant service. Food though was underwhelming, nothing I couldn't get at a hotel buffet. Food was also not at a great temperature. I had cold chicken breast, cold broccolini, tepid scrambled eggs.

This spot will take you back and definitely delivered to my taste buds. My son wanted a burger but i didnt want to go franchise so this spot came up and it was a gem. Little hole in the wall old school joint. You drive up order and wait for your name to be called. Service was great got burgers and fries. Fries are crinkle cut. They were good burgers on point get the special sauce and all the fixings. Fried zucchini was Excellent. Fried mushrooms were good as well. Ranch was worth the 75 cents.

I don't know if I would recommend this place to others, but I seem to eat here about once every two months. Their pastrami sandwich is slightly above average, BLT and Club sandwich are both decent. Their bread is always fresh, they serve beer, the seating area is pleasant. The service is on point. They close at 4 or 5, so it's pretty much a lunch place. Their burgers are average at best.

First time here and they definitely did not disappoint. Not from the area but I ran into their yelp page and the food and service was A1. Quick service and food was delicious. I tried the tri tip tacos and tri tip sandwich. Both very flavorful especially with their side salsa they provided.

We're staying at the Fort sutter hotel and this restaurant in in the property so we thought we'd give it a try. Honestly, wasn't expecting a lot but we were pleasantly surprised. The service is great! The servers are super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is modern and inviting. We got the avocado toast(pictured), hazelnut latte, breakfast burrito, carrot cake, and the yogurt granola. All items were delicious and very flavorful! Would definitely recommend visiting.

Whoever was working at Bowinkles tonight should be ashamed of themselves for sending a burger with me that looked like this... y'all need to take a little bit of pride in your work. The fact that half of the cheese was off of the burger and hanging outside of the bun and the other half of the burger didn't have any cheese at all. There was one piece of bacon on only half of the burger. And the bun only had mayonnaise on half of it. I'm not quite sure what was going on in the kitchen tonight, but they really need to get it together. No need to go back to this place ever again.

Best burger and fries I've had in a long time! The grilled onions and charred patty go together perfectly. The sauce is out of this world, I wish I could have bought a bottle for hone. We also tried the tri tip loaded fries and they were amazing! Can't wait to find this place again.

"First time customers and it won't be the last. Everything was amazing! The kindness and customer service took it to the next level. We really appreciate you guys and can't wait to try more!We ordered 2 sandwiches and 3 pies. Marinated tri tip on Genova bakery roll is amazing any way you get it but the Santa Maria was what I had and I will be back for more. My husband had the cowboy and didn't share so that should tell you how he felt about that. The pie/cheesecakes we got were cookies and cream, apple, and banana cream. Apple was my favorite. Forgot to take pics of everything else but I posted what I did capture."
"Amazing French dip and amazing people! Matty B is great behind the bar and the card room people are very kind. Austin and Jen were very nice! Definitely will come back in the future."
"We stopped here on our way back from Nevada. Great food. Burgers are amazing. Taste homemade and fries are soo good and fresh. Best little burger joint I've ever found."
"1st time here. We got the bbq chicken salad, the Cobb, salad, guacamole chips, 2 kids tenders, and spicy watermelon margaritas. The chicken in our salads were so dry that it stuck to the roof of my mouth and guacamole was flavorless...maybe the kitchen forgot to add salt and lime. Seems like a cool place to hang out and may need to give it 1 more chance. But for over $100 I'd rather go to Yardhouse."
"Don't let the Folsom old-timey bar hangout vibe fool you as you walk in. It's a bar; it's a grill. We had their spicy Louisiana style chicken sandwich with sides, and we were blown away! Best spicy Louisiana style fried chicken sandwich I've ever had, bar none. Sides ordered were garlic fries, onion rings, and one other that I forget...Great service, too. We walked out gobsmacked. Go. Try it. Tell me I'm wrong!Well done!"
"GET THE FRISKY FRIES AND ASK FOR EXTRA CRISPY. You will thank me later. It's their spin on In n Out's animal styles fries, but I think the fries here are much better because of the thickness of the potatoes and the crunch."
"We used to come here all the time like 15 years ago just for the burgers but had since forgotten about it over the years. Me and my husband have picked the hobby of playing pool back up and have been frequenting bars with pool tables which can be hit or miss in getting a table or finding a pool stick that isn't broken. One day my husband said what about Jointed Cue and I was immediately flooded with memories of this place we drove over and not much has changed. Still servicing tasty dive bar type of food and lots of pool tables. They also have a back room for tournaments as well. We paid $15 an hour which is a little steep considering we can play 3 games for $5 at several different bars but again, Jointed Cues tables are in much better condition. For a Saturday around 5pm they several open tables so no wait times. They do serve beers as well. Glad my husband remembered this spot, now we don't have to venture all the way to midtown for a few games of pool."
"I was on my way home from Tahoe last Sunday and wanted to get some lunch. First, I thought In N Out here in Auburn ... think again ... whoa way crowded with cars and people. That's what you get on a weekend summer afternoon with all the travelers on the road. So, it's up the hill of the parking lot to Max's located inside the Holiday Inn. This is gonna cost way more, but Max's has always been one of my fave places to stop for food, just not a cheap or fast stop. There's a good amount of cars parked up here too, but we get seated without a wait. Service is fast and we have water right away. I know what I want, cause Max's has always had probably the best Patty Melt I've had in my life. Cooked med rare and served with fries! My friend gets a Cobb Salad. The wait isn't long before our food arrived. My patty Melt looked great, cooked as ordered with lots of melty cheese flowing over the grilled onions and big 1/2 pound patty. My friend's Cobb Salad looked expertly arranged and tasty.OK, this Patty Melt is gonna cost me 3 times what eating at In N Out would have, but OMG, is it worth it! Plus, no waiting in long burger lines! The first bite was one of the best things to eat in my life, I remember how this tasted years ago. I think my friend is gonna have to do the driving after lunch .... I'm in food heaven! I have to remember to come here to Max's Cafe more often when I'm passing through to and from Tahoe."
"Dine in experience [Roseville CA]I met with a couple of friends from Hawaii and chose this place to take them. We had a super early Sunday breakfast... early like 6:30a! LoL! We were the first customers. They opened at 6:00aI had hoped to have a better experience than my first two previous takeout orders (read my original review)... and it was indeed good. I chose a savory crepe -- the Granite Bay Crepe (no onions and bell pepper though) everything else I approved: bacon, ham, sausage links, jack and cheddar cheese, and tomatoes. It was topped with sour cream and chives. I chose hashbrowns as my side. It was a generous serving. My friends ordered the Breakfast Rice Skillet and The Perfect Two Combo w/ Pancakes. Everything was delicious. I had a taste of the rice skillet and liked it. I would order it less the hot sauce though. Good customer service. The restaurant got busy as we left.Instagram: @marios_earlytoastReview #2918 updated"
"So a few nights a week (I think Wednesday - Saturday?), Timmy's Sandwiches turns into Max's Tacos. I have been wanting to try them for some time now, and finally made it down last week. They have a limited menu, 3 taco choices and a burger. I opted for one of each taco - verde pork, mole chicken, and black bean potato. They are simple tacos - filling + sauce, sort of a fusion of street taco style and Americanized style. I shared the tacos with my toddler, who also loved them. I will say, they are not light diet food - these are greasy, hearty tacos. They were about $3 each and totally worth it. I'll be back!"
"My first time here. The inside was really cute. We had the coffee and they had half and half, vanilla, and hazelnut creamer. My kids ordered the hot chocolate. We all enjoyed our food. One pancake may of been a little overcooked but still yummy. Their service and staff were very attentive and friendly. They also had some Filipino options that I want them try next time. Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back."
"They were one of 6 food trucks at "Woofstock," held in Rocklin this past Sunday. I've been to their location on Power Inn and the original site back in the day, so I'm familiar with their famous "cheese skirt." Admittedly, I've never been a huge fan of the skirt, but on my last visit more than a year ago to the restaurant, I really enjoyed the food, so when deciding what to eat, my boyfriend and I thought a gut-busting burger sounded good at 9:30 in the morning! He got his "Squeeze with cheese" without the skirt (yes, you can request that) and we both added bacon. Our combo meal set us back $15/ea. (a little on the pricier side but well worth it). It was a fantastic burger!!! It would've been a perfect burger but the bacon wasn't cooked that crispy. Otherwise, very tasty, great bun, fresh produce, and a good portion. Fries were bomb too. Definitely a fan!"
"So habit is amazing every time but this location is special. The guy behind the counter greeted everyone that walked through the door. And a good greeting also not a fake rehearsed one he actually greeting guests genuinely and meant it. Besides the awesome staff the burger was cooked perfectly and fries were fried to amazingness :) Presentation was also clean and perfectly folded. Very nice clean establishment I didn't take any pics because I was at work and had my work phone. Five stars for sure"
"Wow, just wow. THE FRIES, literally wow. The burgers were absolutely delicious with a perfectly toasted and fluffy bun. This is a no bs type of spot with a simple menu but their burgers are fully customizable. You can even mix their milk shake flavors. Amazing and friendly order at the counter service. My ONLY complaint is the lighting in the restaurant is a pretty harsh white light but you get over that pretty quickly after trying the food."
"I was actually surprised getting in as it had food court vibes. Thought it was a table service restaurant, but I didn't mind the counter service concept at all.I wanted to order a glass of wine but noticed that the Bogle Red Blends have been opened for more than 4 days, so I skipped that and instead got a Crooked Lanes Hazy IPA from the tap.My wife got the San Francisco Crepe (salmon) and I opted for the California Crepe (avocado). Both were delicious and we certainly enjoyed them. The leafy salad on the side was also perfect at balancing this meal. The servers were very nice and answered our queries about the various selections of crepes. We're definitely coming back when in this area of Citrus Heights. I'm intrigued at giving them a try for brunch and taste the savory thin pancakes."
"As much as I leave reviews based on the food I also enjoy my times eating at places when I feel like the staff are exceptional in their hospitality. The gentleman behind the counter was very informative and ultimately polite and even checked in on us as we were seated. So I will say that it was a comfortable environment and more importantly, the shake flavors sounded delicious, making it hard to choose one of their 100 varieties. I eventually went for the dark chocolate almond butter shake, a western burger and some fried Mac and cheese. Everything tasted good and I would go back again to try something else from their menu. Enjoy!!"
"The burger was ok needed more lettuce and my onions I like raw it seemed kind of grilled, the fries was to season for my liking, but the next visit I will make adjustments to what I want, the burger was good, less sauce for me. Place was very clean, milk shake was great"
"We came on a Sunday and the place is tiny yet had various people seated. The customer service is super friendly and attentive. We ordered 3 double burgers with fries and milk shakes. Everything came out at a reasonable time. The only problem was a major delay in the milkshakes. We took it to go and the burgers were delicious and filling. A great little family business that feels very personal and home made."
"This place is awesome! It's a little bit pricy hut the lady at the desk Is so nice! She's like "Here's your food" with a smile.. And the ambiance is great too."
"Inventive, original flavors, great space , We tried 2 of the Veggie & one sausage pizza & the Veggie options shined!! Delicious & great toppings , totally original Unique salads & starters too Can't wait to go back Only miss in dry Jan ( or any other time of the year for that matter) no alcohol free beers/ cocktails"
"First time trying falafel and it was delicious! Can't to come back next time.Friendly staff, great food, quick service."
"Happy to get some traditional American food every now and again. Great for pick up on a night when you don't want to cook as well. Kids are happy to eat the burgers. Fries are bit too salty but can't complain cause it's easy food for far out here."
"This is is a great spot for a burger, fries and a milkshake. They are quick and the foods always good and fresh. Plus the prices aren't outrageous like some places. Kind of weird they double as a Mexican restaurant but to each their own lol. Lowered the star rating because I think they need to clean the place up a little and add some seating outdoors."
