Thought it was a table service restaurant, but I didn't mind the counter service concept at all.I wanted to order a glass of wine but noticed that the Bogle Red Blends have been opened for more than 4 days, so I skipped that and instead got a Crooked Lanes Hazy IPA from the tap.My wife got the San Francisco Crepe (salmon) and I opted for the California Crepe (avocado). Both were delicious and we certainly enjoyed them. The leafy salad on the side was also perfect at balancing this meal. The servers were very nice and answered our queries about the various selections of crepes. We're definitely coming back when in this area of Citrus Heights. Fluffy scrambled eggs with the right portion of ham, bacon, and sausage pieces. Not overly greasy at all. I chose hash browns as my potato option; kinda wished the hash browns had more crisp to them but that's a nitpick. Highly recommend the rye bread option as it has a delicious slight spice taste from fennel seeds to complement the rye taste. Beautifully toasted.Social and energetic waitress was definitely carrying the cozy community vibes here. I arrived here on a weekday early afternoon and was seated promptly. Margaret L. "My husband and I were in Sac for Valentine's Day weekend and decided to try this spot out. Menu and photos looked really nice. But I assume because it was Valentine's Day weekend we can only reserve for their Valentine's Day Dinner. So we got there and got sat at the bar. We did a 5 course meal. What did we think? So my husband got the lamb shank & I got the scallops. The salad was amazing. The asparagus soup was great too! The lamb shank was good meat and size wise, I feel it would've been nice to have more of the soup with it. The scallops I was really disappointed with. It was awfully too salty, like they drenched salt on it like crazy and added capers which made it more salty. They gave 4 pieces which were great in size. Added baby bokchoy which was great also, but the amount of salt I capers just ruined it.Would we consider trying it out again? Possibly, but for sure not getting the scallops. For the amount my husband paid for which was about $350 for the 2 of us, I honestly didn't think the food matched the price. Maybe other people have better experiences and I honestly hope they do. We just didn't. Cute atmosphere great customer service, just the food didn't make sense for the amount we paid for."

We waited maybe 10 minutes, which our toddlers appreciated! We were sat and they brought waters and chips/dips for the table before our server Alex L made it over to greet us. Which he did right after the chips and waters were sat down. He asked us if we had been in before, had any allergies or things he should know before we ordered. Once ordered, our drinks were quickly delivered and then before we could even order anything for food the GM brought over a complimentary appetizer (chicken tinga tostadas were yum!) since we had never been in before. Our server was knowledgeable on the menu when we asked questions. We ordered our food, and before we could even ask he kindly split our kiddos food into two for them to share since we only needed one kid's menu item. The food arrived quickly and everything was correct! Steak tacos, Fresa Salad and Steak Quesadilla were all very good. We loved every item we ordered and one kiddo even cleared his entree (beans and rice were a huge serving too!). The service was super fast and impeccable in accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised with how attentive everyone was, not just our server. Highly recommend, especially if you want a somewhere they will sing happy birthday to you!"

Ursula O. "For dinner last night, we ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and breakfast potatoes (to-go). We ordered through the Yelp app, which took us to the Brookfield's website and were able to customize how we wanted our eggs (poached and over easy) and what toast we wanted (English muffin and white). We were disappointed it didn't allow us to customize and put the gravy on the side or add on extra (we were willing to pay). It was ready on 20 minutes and when we picked it up, the restaurant was not busy. I got to the front and requested the extra sides of gravy and when the young woman came back with a 3rd container, it was because the kitchen didn't put the poached eggs. So, if I hadn't asked for gravy, there would've not been eggs with one of the meals. Thankfully, that didn't happen. When we got home, just as we suspected, the CFS's were soggy. If we could have used the section to write in a customization, that is what we would've requested, but for some reason, the Brookfield's website has this feature turned off. One of our CFS's had a lot of gristle, the meat had no flavor. I think the breading would've tasted great if it was not soggy. Their country gravy has meat in it and that tasted pretty good! The poached eggs were overcooked, the over eat eggs still had slimy whites. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good and the toasted bread both came with their housemade strawberry jam (no seeds) which was soooo delicious! Next time, we will sit inside and give the CFS another try... so far, I know I am a huge fan of their fish & chips. Not sure about the CFS just yet"

This place is wickedly popular. Finally I got a chance again on a recent Sunday for an early dinner. I was with a large group of 17. We called a few hours ahead to set up a reservation which we secured. Right when you step in, it's the bar area. Impressive top shelf liquor display that takes up nearly the entire wall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. TVs throughout that are tuned into sports. The outdoor seating is covered and enclosed reminding me of a green room. There was a fireplace that gave off a lot of heat. The vibe is family friendly. Onto the food.., Chips n Salsa. $4.25. The chips were fried tortillas... aka tostada shells. Street sized taco tortilla. The order comes with two salsas, red and green salsa verde. Not sure if they were fresh house made but sure looked and tasted like it. Delicious Drunken chicken taco. $3.95. I don't know how they got the chicken drunk. But it was delicious. Moist, seasoned, flavorful pieces of chicken. The tacos were priced around $5. Short rib taco. $4.45. I got unlucky with the short rib meat. In my taco, the meat was mostly fat. Big, globby pieces that had the same coloring of the cooked short rib. But the others in my party didn't have that issue. They got hefty gorgeous looking pieces of short rib. I swiped a piece from one of their tacos. Mmm... it was delicious. Tender, soft with a fantastic rich deep meaty flavor. Posole. $7.50. It was a bland tasting even with a squeeze of lime. It did look beautiful though. Bright, fresh colors. And it was presented well. Our waiter took our order while various other staff delivered the food. When we asked for extra plates and drink refills from the various staff other than our waiter, we never got them. We asked for extra plates since they batched a bunch of taco orders onto one plate. Our waiter was handling a bunch of other tables as well. He was great. But obviously stretched thin. I tried the Huckleberry Sweet Tea, and while I love sweet tea, this one was way too sweet for me--borderline sugar overload, especially with the sugared rim. It was good, just overwhelmingly sweet, so I only drank about a quarter of it.For food, I got the chicken tenders and fries. Presentation-wise, it looked great and arrived hot, which I appreciated. Ursula O. "I visited here recently and loved the vibe. We pulled into a very busy parking lot. Thank goodness they have plenty of parking. Their parking lot was shared by multiple businesses. The front doesn't pop out as much as from the front, but then again, you can't miss the packed parking lot and a packed parking lot means everyone knows a good place when they find one! I love that there is out front seating available. Although a bit chilly outside, there were space heaters available to keep you warm. We were able to get a table inside, right away while it was busy. I loved that we were cozy in the corner. Right away, I went off my friend Julie's recommendation. The breakfast burrito and added carnitas chili verde as our meat (yes, an upcharge). After browsing the mimosas, we decided it would be best to order a bottle of their champagne. With that, you get 2 flavors of juice. We decided to get the original orange juice, and I have this secret obsession with guava. It was something I used to drink during my training wheel days as a wee little one, so when I see it, it is a wonderful splurge. When the mimosa arrived, I asked if it came with more juice if we requested, and our server looked at me like I was crazy and told us no... OK. Maybe I was a lightweight, but I wanted to enjoy myself. Not get drunk. I requested the channel in the room be put on something. Anything but that screen that pops up from non-activity. The mimosas looked gorgeous. The presentation was really lovely. Each glass was garnished with an orchid. The orange juice with mimosa was good. I guess it's very original, but the mimosa with guava juice was absolutely delicious. When our food arrived about 20 minutes into our service, Julie's burrito had been popped open (these are packed eggs, cheese and your choice of meat if you picked one, so lots of chili verde!). Mine looked like it was rolled pretty nice. These breakfast burritos come with a side of verde sauce, creama, and salsa (I had dipped my finger in the sauces taste testing, mmm) Then suddenly, a food server came over to my table trying to take my burrito. I figured I received the wrong one, but with the language barrier, he didn't understand why I was keeping the sauces. He was also trying to hand me a burrito that someone else had already cut in half.BIG NO NO!After another server nearby helped him understand why I was keeping the sauces, and let me know I had the wrong burrito, and told him he could not serve me a burrito someone else had already touched and cut into... they whisked mine away to make a brand new one. I kept the sauces, and they delivered the burrito in front of me to the right person. They had my remake done in 5 minutes. Julie waited for me to receive my food before she dug in. Her's stayed hot while we waited for mine. We didn't see our original server until close to the end of our breakfast. She did ask about our food, which we said was delicious, but when I asked again for the channel to please be changed to anything, she rolled her eyes and walked off. Never to be seen again until it was time to pay. The delicious chili verde breakfast burrito made up for the hiccup worth food (and our waitresses attitude, you can't roll your eyes when I had to ask for something twice because you forgot... and I was nice about it both times). I did, however, notice there a 2 bottle giant mimosa available in a giant glass to share with whomever you are with. Great for a few people in your party... I noticed that if you don't finish, they will give you Togo cups with lids and straws for your convenience"

I feel the Paella is poorly named and should be readdressed as a Seafood Risotto. It's not like a flavorful Spanish paella, but more of a mellow creamy risotto. Very nice texture.
