"This place is super cool! I've been here a few times. It's good for a night out with a date or even just a night with the family. They have decent pizza and American food items, a full bar, pool tables and tons of games for your family to sit down and play. It's such a great little spot in a city that is lacking a lot!"
"Such a yummy pizza. You may choose Indian or American style. Love the place. Also,Have not tried the wings looking forward to it."
"Found this place on social media...they have the best choices for craft beers and random beers from breweries all over the place. I love to come here and check out their IPA of the month or their Employees Top Pick, and it gives me an opportunity to sample beers I never would encounter elsewhere. Easy street parking, make sure to stop by and check them out!"
"We go to Curtis Park Market for their excellent IPA choices. They keep their beer fresh and they have a fantastic selection. The best in town. This review is for the deli. They have about 20 different sandwiches divided between hot and cold and a few salads. Full sandwiches are $15, half a sandwich is $8.We split the hot chicken sando. It was well-made and one sandwich did two of us just right. The service was fast and friendly. I didn't like their prior sandwich guy, but these two dudes did a great job. My only complaint was the sandwich was kind of bland, but I am somebody who puts hot sauce or peppers on everything. It was tasty and I ate every bite. Needed pepperoncinis."
"I like craft IPAs and if you don't buy them at the brewery the chances are prett high you might have bought a skunked six-pack or two. A good beer needs to be treated well, warm conditions will ruin a good bottled beer in days. When you see the stacks of 12-packs out on the floor at Safeway or Raley's or BevMo or Curtis Park Market, that means the beer is likely to be heat struck. Don't buy it.At A&P their stockroom is refrigerated (like Corti Brothers on Folsom). The beer comes off the refrigerated truck into their refrigerated stock room, where it's loaded from the back as needed. The owner promised me once that if I ever open a bad beer from their place, that if I brought back the other 5 he'd exchange the six. I've been picking up beer there for a couple years, and every single one has been great. Love it.Yelper insider tip - the yellow curb outside is COMMERCIAL - the Sactown Parking Nazis will ticket you just for the time it takes to run in the store - be careful. Green (15min) or White (5min) curbs they probably won't, but parking at the yellow curb could cost you $50."
"I Love the fact there's so many great choices on craft beers to pick from and the owners are super nice and helpful and will help find what you are looking for and the store is very clean. I highly recommend this place for everyone if your into craft beers and they also have some hard ciders as well. I will definitely be coming back for sure, my husband and I love this place."
"Ordered 6 bottles of bourbon and rye that were packaged very nicely. Great prices, secure shipping packaging, and great selection."
"Been going here for years! Used to be called Chiefs. The old man owner Frank must have finally retired. Didn't recognize the place. Completely remodeled and actually has some products. Old place never saw a cleaning rag. Unbelievable transformation! Very clean now."

Some of the best pizza I've had if you ever find yourself in Stockton. Lots of TVs for sports. A couple pool tables and lots of board games and such.

The pizza was absolutely incredible. I thought a butter chicken pizza would be weird, but it was so tasty. A great combination of flavors. The service was fantastic too, super on top of additional drinks. The mango chutney martini was also delicious. I'd include a picture but we ate it all too quickly due to how delicious it was. Definitely head over her and get some pizza.

Pacific Market is a staple in our neighborhood. So many people know the bright blue and yellow shop "down the street". We love that there is always a variety and full selection of items. We've been lucky to personally know Preet and his team is always welcoming. Be sure to double check your expiration dates before purchase - sometimes things are overlooked. But we absolutely LOVE going to Pacific Market.

This is one of our usual stops if we are headed to a function that requires libations. Their beer selection is one of the best in town, and they never let us down. I am a fan of Belgians, stouts, and porters, and they always have my back. On hot summer days when something lighter is required, the freezer section always has something to help with this. You also can't go wrong with a snack while you're here and if you're hungrier, they have killer sandwiches from the deli. I am a fan of the Green Karma vegetarian sandwich, but I can also build my own grilled or cold veggie sammie instead when I'm feeling it. Not a small shop by any means, and they have many convenience items as well. Curtis Park Market has a small parking lot with spots in front and on the side of the building, and there's street parking as well. Everyone who works here is great, especially our sandwich makers. We appreciate you so much!

I think of A & P as more of a necessity than anything else. And they're certainly not hurting for business. Consider this a viable option for quick grab and go items when you're in this busy corner of downtown (zigzags seemed especially popular when I visited). Don't come if you're looking for anything more than an item or two or higher than usual prices are something you don't like. On the plus slide, they have a good selection. Drinks, chips, snacks, and oh yes, liquor. It's a popular spot for lotto tickets, too, so definitely consider them for your scratcher fix.

Hadn't heard of this place until a FB post about a sale...and oh my goodness what a selection!! Everything you can think of craft beer-wise and a lot more. So many beers (porters and stouts are my thing) to choose from, many I'd heard of but so many more I had not....meaning I don't think you'll find this kind of selection anywhere. A little pricey, so it's hard to take the plunge on something you've never heard of without knowing a little about it, so if you're like me and have a fairly narrow range of what you like, come armed with the Untappd app or the like to help out. Will definitely be back!!!

Tequila selection is great, plenty of additive free selections. El Tesoro, Fortaleza, Tapatio, Ocho, etc etc. Pricing is competitive for the common bottles but my only issue is the price gouging for Fortaleza. I get it, EVERYONE is doing it but the bottles MSRP are between $65-100 and they charge $185-$600 depending on blanco, repo, anejo, etc.

"Alright... first of all, you might wanna consider that this isn't exactly a Beverly Hills neighborhood, so it's easy to understand why the parking lot doesn't look incredible. Walk inside, though, and it's pretty nice - relatively tidy front counter, flat screen hanging on the back wall, everything is well organized, clean floor... Overall, the store gives you an impression of efficiency (from an operational perspective).Gotta admit, I was pleasantly surprised recently to find that they stock Russian Standard vodka (it's good stuff, you should try it). A 1.75L bottle for $20? Yes, please! Pfft, no need to go to BevMo for that. Lots of Bacardi, Sailor Jerry, and Captain in the rum section, though I was surprised Bacardi "8" wasn't on the shelves. Plenty of tequila and whiskey choices, too...All the usual stuff in a convenience store is also there - candy bars, smokes, toilet paper, etc. - and it's all relatively cheap. Make a note of the debit/credit service charge, though. If your bill is less than $6, you'll have an additional 60 cents or so to pay for a card processing fee. Anything over $6 and the fee is waived. There are a couple things that could use a little touching up, in my opinion... For starters, that card fee just seems out of place, not everyone carries cash and paying extra to buy a candy bar or a soda just because you're using a debit card is kinda silly. Getting rid of the porn magazines would clear up a fair amount of space for more pertinent products. I mean, seriously, does anyone actually buy those mags any more? Maybe taking care of the peeling paint on the building's sign would be nice (I'm nitpicking on that one, I know).Overall, the employees are personable. Sure, they look at you a little funny if you roll out of bed and head to their store, but that's to be expected. The lot is pretty conveniently positioned, easy to get in and out of. Any way, check it out if you're in the area."
""I Need A Lottery Win! Can you make it happen for me, J Street Market?"SITREPJ Street Market (aka "J"), is my local convenience store, just two (2) blocks away from my home. If I ever need a quick slim jim fix - or (more likely) replenishment of some Half N' Half for my home-brewed coffee - good ole J comes through.THE SETUPNow I really can't waste my hard-earned CASH on things so silly like LOTTERIES, but you know? If the jackpot is sitting pretty over $1 BILLION, it behooves me to go ahead and throw $10 on some tickets and take my chances, because, WHO KNOWS.MOM & POPThis store is locally owned by a local family, so I feel good about coming to J and patronizing their store. THE LOWDOWNI'm grateful to have a solid convenience store located in my neighborhood."
"As a liquor store overall, I'd give them four stars. But after the efforts I had to make to get a reimbursement for a beer tap I rented I'm docking three. I rented a beer tap for a party. The plus was that they were one of the few liquor stores that has beer taps for rent without a requirement to also get a keg. The guy behind the counter was nice enough and told me it was $6 plus a $50 deposit. I returned it the next day, as required, and was told by another gentleman that the deposit would be refunded immediately. Three days later it still was not and I drove ten minutes and came in again after no one answered the phone. The second gentleman told me he needed to talk to the first gentleman because something was wrong and he couldn't figure it out. At this point, I'm upset. I didn't hear back after this second trip even though I was told I would immediately. I went back in - again. Now the first gentleman was back and, after about a ten minute phone call with whoever runs his credit card machine, I got the money back. He apologized, but the damage was done. It's fine if you don't know what you're doing in granting a refund, but the lack of follow up to any of my visits when they specifically told me they would call me was inexcusable. I'll use them for buying odds and ends, sure, but not for renting anything ever again."
"Owner/staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Found out from searching google shopping that they have Eagle Rare. They also have other difficult to find stuff. Despite looking and and being named like a typical liquor store, they have a passion for liquor and their business. This is a hidden gem. If I lived anywhere relatively close, this would be my go-to."
"I didn't buy anything, but from a walk through.. they have a pretty good selection!! Their prices are also pretty reasonable."
"This is the only liquor store I know of that sells cold Hennessy straight out of the fridge. It is always packed with people. They have tons of liquor. It's always the husband and wife I believe tending the shop. Parking isn't the greatest and the neighborhood isn't the greatest, but I love me some cold Hennessy."
"A very nice local store. I'm not really a wine buff so can't comment about the selection, but the do have a lot to choose from. Kinda an international theme decor go-n on. Very nice friendly people. The big draw for me is Lotto sales with no lines and close to home."
"This is a great little bottle shop in the neighborhood to stop in for snacks, drinks, etc. They have a pretty good selection of beer, wine, spirits and more. The workers here are very nice as well. I stop here every now and then for sodas and/or lottery tickets."
"I frequent this location as I work near by. It is great to have a store that is not only a gas station but also a deli. I pick up the breakfast taco's from Christina every morning and they are great! Not only is the staff very friendly but the location is always very clean. Also if you down load the app for the store you receive daily specials."
"I stopped by this liquor store for a Gatorade, but when i walked in i was surprised of the selection of craft beer they had. It's kinda funny when you walk in for one Gatorade but leave with 4 packs of craft beer, I loved the fact that they had an assortment of belching beaver beer. I have to go back just so i can stock up on swerve city again"
"Been looking for Blanton's forEVER and through the wonderful spying eyes of online social media, I saw an ad from SP Liquors! Even though I got there right when they opened, on an early Sunday morning, staff was super friendly and helpful! Will definitely recommend them and be returning!"
"Amazing selection of beer, friendly service, and I'm not saying they have Pliny, but I'm not saying they don't."
"I feel out of place each time I visit the local liquor store, like I should be in baggy jeans, an over sized shirt, and a gaudy gold chain around my neck. I'm always here dressed nice and professional with a collard shirt ready to pick up a case of beer. The staff is always pretty cool, laid back, and has something entertaining blasting on the TV. I end up coming here at least once a week to pickup some drinks or what nots while at a weekend job. Usually some red bull to mix in with the vodka in my water bottle to help the work day past by easier."
"Great customer service! To the point n precise with professional mannerisms. Previous negative reviews r apparently personal n uneducated. These guys r running a liquor store dealing with hundreds of people in n out in seconds everyday, they don't have the luxury to chit chat, it's not a bar so don't expect to be baby fed. Grow up people!!"
"Just sending this review to set the record straight as I saw some reviews that weren't truthful. The service staff, while sometimes busy has always been friendly to me. The prices that they charge are comparable to all others in the area. Believe me, I've looked. If anyone has a problem with this establishment the problem is their own. They run a great business here."
"UPDATE:Pliny the Elder in stock....those familiar will understand ;)Neighborhood store. Always friendly. Knee Deep in the cooler and many many good wines on the shelf. Not what you expect for a smaller liquor store. Also a very nice selection of cigars. Same friendly staff helping and I have seen them cover small costs for local people a little hard on their luck. If you live near this place give them some business."
