"Everything was great!I said in a previous review that we would return and we had a wonderful breakfast. We are celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary today and it was the right start. The staff and the food (including coffee) were excellent. So was a custard and fruit filled danish for dessert. Compared to last time, there were plenty of staff and everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend."
"We came here after a full day of screams at the water park... the hot day wouldn't be complete without some ice cream! We had a great server, super kind and attentive.. super quick service came over right away with waters and shortly after our ice cream Sundays came. Of course I got photos of everyone's ice cream but my own but the Rocky road was delicious! And the caramel sauce... wow I never knew what I was missing.... I kinda wish I still didn't know lol! It was fantastic! The cookies and cream was a huge hit... as well as the black and white. Overall a fun trip to Leatherby's The store was clean and all the staff as friendly, I wish I got out this way more often!"

"10/10 would recommend! We sat outside overlooking the fountain. I had an amazing lunch with my friend. She had the salad and I had the grilled cheese on sourdough. The drinks were good- Arnold Palmer with passion ice tea. It was airy and lots of sunlight. Very minimal service as you order a head of time then provided with a number , they bring your food to you. However you bus your own table. You get your own silver ware. No issues there just an observation (for those not aware). Great lunch spot not sure if they do brunch there . I would love to come back and try other items on the menu."
"Where to go when you find yourself in Stockton with no idea what to eat? I stumbled on this lil mom n pop donut shop that also serves some HEFTY eats. Big Worms sure feeds you like family. Their portions are huge, comforting and so satisfying. The BS (Breakfast Sandwich) 5/5*TWO sausage patties, bacon, eggs, and gooey cheddar cheese oozing out between each layer?! These are what breakfast dreams are made of. The toasted slices of bread were barely enough to hold in all this goodness. And what is this I taste? Slight hints of maple to seal the deal off with that perfect salty sweetness.Usomich 5/5*This bánh mì was as loaded as your MAC-10! It came stuffed with proteins and the meat packed a punch of flavor. The pickled papaya and carrots were a different take on your typical bánh mì, but paired well with the lemongrass in the meat, adding a sweet crunchiness that's so refreshing and contrasting against the savoriness of the crumbly meats.Thai Tea Donut 5/5*Donuts here are notoriously BIG! The Thai Tea glaze was spot on and the donut was light and fluffy. Great with a cup of coffee. It was nice to see that the actual owner was there putting in all his passionate love into the food. In talking to him, we found out they've been there for over 7 years! You can tell they support the community with the walls filled with local schools pics, flyers and art. And that mini claw machine game in the corner already won 5 stars in my book. So cool and cute!I was surpirsed to find such a range of delicious cafe food in a donut shop. The donut case was enticing enough already, with their pretty decorated donuts for St. Patty's Day, and the pics on the walls definitely didn't help with my cravings for comfort food. Can't wait to come back to try their loaded Uso Fries and burgers. Support small business!"
"Bad Bakers: A Sweet Tooth WonderlandIf Willy Wonka opened a donut shop, it would pale in comparison to Bad Bakers. From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in a heavenly aroma that could convince anyone they're standing in a confectionery paradise. Seriously, the air smells like pure joy wrapped in chocolate, sugar, and dreams. Now, let's talk about the service. These folks are pros. Friendly, fast, and on-point. The line moves with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine, but with none of the robotic coldness. Instead, it's warm smiles, genuine chatter, and pure donut enthusiasm. You'll walk out feeling like a regular, even if it's your first visit. And the donuts. Oh, the donuts. Walking up to the showcase is like walking into a dog pound where every single pup is adorable, perfect, and begging to come home with you. How do you choose? It's borderline torture. From candy-covered masterpieces to whimsically iced confections, there's not a single dud in sight. Every donut is a work of art--and not the pretentious kind, but the "I'm so good, you'll have to eat me" kind.To anyone reading this: get yourself to Bad Bakers. This isn't just a donut shop--it's an experience, a sugar-fueled adventure. Bring friends, bring family, heck, bring strangers. Just go. You'll thank me later (probably with a donut in hand)."
"I stopped into Rescate Coffee after placing a to-go order next door at Gai 'N Rice. I love trying new coffee shops and this location has been on my list to try for a while. The inside is such a vibe, it's warm and welcoming and the staff definitely match this energy. They offer a wide variety of coffee and tea options, as well as some bites.I was overwhelmed by the menu choices and fought off the urge to buy more than one drink... I could have walked out with a whole flight of options! I ended up asking the staff what their favorites were and they talked me into trying the Zoot Suit, a mexican chocolate and white chocolate coffee. It was delicious, and just the energy burst I needed to get through the rest of my errands and meetings for the day. This little plaza is a bit hidden, but they have easy parking and with Gai 'N Rice and Rescate right next to one another I have a lot of reasons to come back for more yumminess!I'm excited to explore more of the menu in the future."
"This is the only place in Sacramento where I've found truly amazing, authentic canelés! My family and I can't get enough of them. If you know anything about baking canelés, you know they're a finicky labor of love and not easy to make, but Faria seriously nails it every single time. Their perfectly caramelized, crispy outer shell and rich, vanilla-y custard center are absolute perfection. These pastries are worth every penny! I read some reviews of people saying they're too pricey and too crunchy on the outside, but hello thats how authentic canelés are supposed to be and where the rich caramelized flavor comes from! They're expensive bc canelés are not easy to make and they use local ingredients. Try making some and you'll quickly see why.. Plus they deliver, which is so convenient and I use it all the time lol! Personally, their customer service has always been great with me. Everyone I've talked to has been nice and friendly. Their buckwheat coffee cake and kouign-amann are also excellent. Both are less sweet, but still incredibly flavorful and clearly made with top-notch ingredients. Their almond croissant is on the dryer and flakey side due to being twice baked, so keep that in mind if you're expecting a soft doughy croissant, twice baked isn't that! You can really tell that everything they bake is crafted with care and high-quality ingredients, which sets them apart from other bakeries in the area.On their website it shows how they support local farmers and buy their ingredients from them, which is not cheap and something most bakeries short cut. I truly appreciate their efforts to do this and buy local! If they ever stopped making canelés, I don't know what I'd do because they're my absolute favorite pastry. Definitely a must-visit!"
"A Sac Town classic! This is high end casual dining, where you order at the counter. The counters have a wide variety of food (both hot & cold) and desserts, all beautifully prepared with fresh local ingredients. Their wood fired pizzas are excellent.M. Although expensive, the food is delicious and worth the price.Artisanal cocktails are available at the bar, that are beautifully prepared. There is plenty of seating options, both inside and on the patio. This place is popular and can be quite crowded depending on the time of day."
"This place gets busy - so be there early! The staff is very friendly, but you definitely want to keep the line flowing, so do your research on what to order before getting there, haha. It is very clean & "refreshing" in there.I found out about Elk Grove donuts through a tiktok video & they did not disappoint. Their Dubai chocolate covered strawberries are so good. 100/10. I need to ask where they get the strawberries from because they were delicious! I realized that I'm not a "fancy donut" type... I like my donuts pretty simple (glazed or maple). We tried the Dubai chocolate donut & it was good, just A LOT of chocolate - I kept it as a dessert over the next 2 days. We also tried the Ube filled donut, but it didn't really taste like Ube to me.Would definitely be back any time I'm in the area!"
"I was surprised to see two menu items with Dungeness crab and both under $20!!! I decided to try the Dungeness Crab Louie! I also had the butternut squash soup. The soup had some walnuts and cranberries on top of the creamy, favorable soup. It was a delicious start to my lunch. The Crab Louie was so good! There was a generous amount of crab, a whole boiled egg, a generous amount of avocado (looked like half), plenty of cherry tomatoes, crispy, fresh romaine, and Louie dressing. A sourdough roll topped it off. I was very impressed with not only the quality of the ingredients but the freshness of everything and all for an unexpected price!Dining out has become so expensive with food costs and increased wages for servers, etc. These added costs have given me pause when tipping. If servers are now being paid a more reasonable wage and food costs have trebled at some restaurants, I am reluctant and even beginning to balk at giving 20% of my purchase. It appears that this restaurant may have considered that as well. I say that because the "suggested tip" amounts include a 10% suggestion. I really appreciate that. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. I also walked away with a loaf of sourdough bread because I belong to the rewards program!I will definitely return soon to try the other Dungeness crab offering before it leaves the menu."
"I've gone to this location a few times and haven't had issues so far compared to other locations I've gone to. Orders have been correct, no long wait time, no customer service issues. I normally order on the app through my phone and go into the store and pick up. As with all crumbl locations, it's a small interior with no seating. More of a grab and go place. I've enjoyed more of their cake and pie creations they make. They do charge more for the cakes. I like that their app allows you to mark which cookie/pie/cake you want notifications for when the cookie is in the weekly line up again. There are parking spaces but this is a busy plaza since there's Costco and Starbucks. They close at 10pm, so going later in the evening will help in terms of parking lot traffic."
"Saw this place on yelp and decided to give them a try because of their amazing reviews. Everything we ordered was amazing. I highly recommend the cheesecakes. The service could be better though."

I've been coming to this bakery for many years and it's one of my favorite bakeries in the Folsom area. I love the location of this bakery it's easy to get to and there's other shops around here. The workers are always kind and give help suggestions. The food here is also so delicious. My favorite thing to get the turkey pesto crepe. It's so savory and the salad that comes it with is delicious. The giant cinnamon roll is also a must get. It's big and sweet. The banana crepe was a good dessert to eat after the turkey crepe!

Leatherby's is serving up old school sundaes with their housemade ice cream and typical diner food, like burgers, sandwiches, and fries. We love having date night here on Tuesdays for their special meal deal. For $39.99, you can choose 2 entrees (NOT the crab sandwich or Daddy Dave burger), 2 fountain drinks, and 2 large sundaes (2 flavors and 1 topping)! With the inflated prices of going out to eat these days, this deal saves you a lot of money, which is much appreciated. We walked in and even though the place was just half full, the staff looked busy and possibly short-staffed. It took a few minutes before someone came to us, but we were seated right away. The young staff were very friendly and efficient with a positive attitude. Kudos to them for staying on top of things and their work ethic. We ordered the tri tip sandwich and the western tri tip sandwich (the bbq version), both with fries. Our food came up fast and fries were hot and crispy. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and fries that were a good enough portion to still enjoy the sundaes. We came at 6pm and were trying to get out in an hour to catch a movie. We were about 15 minutes late for our movie, but it was worth it. We ended up getting the rest of our sundaes to go.If you're not doing Taco Tuesday, try Leatherby's instead!

Really good food of far more variety than you would expect. Reasonable prices bring in a wide variety of folks who make this place a regular. Service with a smile, a local, comfortable vibe and comfortable surroundings. Not much to pick at. This is a winner.

Love love love their Ube donuts! I stopped by with the hubby while we were in the neighborhood and decided to give their breakfast burritos a try. Although their breakfast items fell a bit short of my expectations, their donuts did not disappoint. Highly recommend this mom n pop shop. I will be a frequent customer every time I'm in the area.

One of the best coffee I have tried in EG, I usually order Zoot Suit whether Iced or hot, both are great! Price is good for a specialty drink, but probably too much ice on their drinks. The stablishment had a nice relaxing environment on the inside as well.

This is my favorite bakery in Sacramento! I always try to stop by and grab some goodies whenever I'm in the area. I visited on Lunar New Year, and the place was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, they were out of many items by 10:30 AM. I only managed to try their pineapple bun with salted egg yolk custard from their LNY specials this week (they were out of the black sesame kouign-amann and egg tarts). 4/5 Pineapple Bun: The crust wasn't as crispy as a traditional pineapple bun. It reminded me more of a concha-style top. The filling was generous but didn't quite taste like salted egg yolk custard; it was more like a creamy custard instead.5/5 Pear Butter Donut: omg this was amazing! The dough is milk bread rolled in cinnamon sugar, filled with pear butter and topped with cream. Soo good! 4/5 Miso Toast: This was tasty! I loved the umami-sweet miso butter on the toast with the blackberry jam.

This is my 2nd time here. Very clean and quick service. This time I got the BLTA and my husband got the BBQ burger. We went with 6 others, one got the French dip sandwich (which I got the first time I went it was YUM) one for the pizza with hot honey, and I think 2 other burgers. Also got a slice of German chocolate cake! Also yum. My one suggestion is to get flavors for their iced coffee. I wanted to have iced coffee however they did not have a selection of flavors, because of this i opted out

"Was the cutest place going in !!!! Felt like I was not on Stockton blvd.... Once I stepped in I felt like I was in this pretty little pink paradise it was filled with love and flowers I was in ahhhh!! The girl at the counter was so nice told us if we ordered a boba u get a Mochi donut for $1 on Tuesday ... so we took advantage of that and ended up getting more .. the drink was so good and all the donuts so amazing and beautiful I loved the swinging chairs reminded me of Mexico !!! Went to the kiosk it was quick ALL PINK EVERYTHING! Highly recommend ...super cute !!! Alittle pricey for a boba but it was too cute !"
"Cute cupcake store. Went here for their GF cupcakes and it doesn't disappoint. The confetti gf cupcake was the best ever!!Make sure you check their website to see the daily cupcakes. Go on the day that they are serving your favorite kinds. Or try a new one!!"
"It's a cool spot in a plaza full of restaurants, and I like that they have a seating area. Their decorations are always nice too. Service is just okay. The employees aren't rude, but they don't seem super enthusiastic either. Most of the pastries I've tried are just alright, nothing really stands out. They're priced about the same as 85°C Bakery for reference. I thought I'd give their cake a try. Honestly, it was pretty disappointing. I ordered a custom 8-inch vanilla cake with fresh fruit filling for my dad's birthday, and it came out to $60, which feels expensive compared to 85°C or Paris Baguette. On top of that, they charged an extra 50 cents for the knife. It's not a big deal, but it's just kind of weird to charge for something so small. The cake itself was light, with whipped cream that wasn't too sweet, which I liked. But there was way too much cantaloupe and honeydew in the filling, and the fruit didn't add much flavor. Because the filling was mostly cream and fruit, the cake wasn't stable. It kept falling apart when we tried to cut it. The decoration and writing on top weren't great either. Honestly, I wouldn't order a cake here again unless you're specifically looking for a cute custom design. Otherwise, the quality and price don't really feel worth it."
"Donut King has a huge variety of donuts that were available. I ordered a bakers dozen and as soon as my family and I sat down the donuts had vanished almost immediately. The donuts are soft, fluffy, flavorful and have a good amount of sweetness to them. They had chocolate, strawberry, caramel, jelly filled, glazed, sugared, chocolate muffin, croissant sandwiches and many more options to choose from. I couldn't stop myself from getting seconds especially with a side of warm coffee brewed over the counter. What's also nice is that this establishment is opened 24/7 and the customer service is amazing. We were greeted with a welcome and a smile which made us feel at home and comfortable enough to use their self serve refrigerators and coffee bar. There were also two other families at the diner enjoying their breakfast that really gave the family feel environment. Enjoyed my visit, 10/10. Date visited: 09/07/24"
"Honestly- I'm done with Crumbl.Over the years, it has become my absolute favorite! I have the app on my personal phone and on my work phone. I'm always sending it for delivery. Dad's birthday in Tennessee? Send him cookies. Your kid is feeling sick? No worries I'll send you some cookies. I even have a crumble Christmas sweater and belt bag. My friends sent me memes about this store, and I am known to all my friends as the Crumbl lover. But over the past year, the customer service, especially at the store and in the citrus high store has been absolutely terrible. Yesterday we came into this location and it was pretty busy, there was a bunch of girls that had come in after their basketball game. They were each ordering one individual cookie. So no problem, I waited very patiently. I was super excited to get a cookie for my kids after their own basketball game and so I waited patiently. The woman at the counter didn't acknowledge me. She helped five people in front of me, and then when I walked up to the register, she turned around without even looking at me. No worries, I figured I understood what was going on, she had got a lot of orders so she turned around to help her worker behind the counter get caught up. So again.... I was very patient. I just really wanted a cookie and I was happy to be there. I watched as this woman moved as slow as cold molasses. She hates her job and she was not happy to be there. She had no regard for anyone or the fact that they were spending five dollars a cookie. Without even acknowledging my presence, she just then walks up to me, after delivering three cookies and turns the screen around towards me and says you can order here without even making eye contact ....Well, at that point was at the end of my patience. It was very clear that I could order at the screen, but I stood in line because I had some specific questions about the cookies and if they could do a specific order. I wasn't in the mood to spend $25 maybe 30 on cookies with this woman so I just walked out Deuces."
"1st time visit here, my daughter was a craving an ice cream sandwich and I ended up getting the buy 5 and get one free! We didn't realize the ice cream sandwich would be so HUGE! No wonder it's $12 lol . I do prefer the flavor of this cookie batter over the popular Cookie Crumble that many rave about. The gourmet cookies have good flavor and not overbearingly sweet. I would visit this cute little cookie shop again."
"Folsom has been getting a lot of dessert places. Once in a while I will crave a cookie or two and give the rest to a friend. The cookies are usually a hit or miss but that's the fun part of trying interesting flavors. You can never go wrong with a basic chocolate chip cookie. The ambiance is nothing special at all. They should make spruce it up to compete with other dessert places though. The service is probably the part where this place falls short. The handful of times I've been it takes forever for someone to come up to the counter when they see you because they are chatting it up with fellow co-workers. I have no problem with this until it affects the service."
"Friendly staff, variety of bread options, inexpensive, tastes good, good location, plenty of seating."
"I have been going to Cyber Java for years and they are wonderful people with delicious food. I know the location is spotty, but everyone who goes there loves it. Highly recommend the breakfast burritos."
"Found this pie shop via Yelp, located inside the Milagro Centre on Fair Oaks in Carmichael. It's located past the gelato stand. Did not order ahead, and took a chance walking in a few days after the Thanksgiving holiday to pick up a pie or two for Friendsgiving dinner. Seems like a one-woman run business, and for a Saturday afternoon there were still some good selections in the display case available for purchase and not already spoken for (smaller 6-inch and larger 8-inch pies), including apple (I forget if it was classic or salted caramel dutch), bourbon pecan, chocolate cream, and banana cream. Other seasonal flavors are pumpkin, sweet potato, eggnog custard, and red velvet chess. I got one 8-inch banana cream and one 8-inch chocolate cream ($28 each). The crust is all-butter, and the heart-shaped decorations on each pie are cute and very fitting of the bakeshop's name. Between the two, the banana cream pie was by far the favorite. The chocolate cream was also very good. I'm curious to try their fruit pies and other offerings (chicken pot pie, hand pies, pie pops) in the future!"
"Crumbl is really creative with their cookie flavors. I love trying their flavors. Huge cookies. I can never eat a whole one."
"My husband was given a Crumbl gift card for Christmas and we stopped in yesterday while in the area. I am not a big fan of Crumbl - I think they are way too sweet and overhyped for my liking, but I do get the gimmick. My husband ordered the Reese's Pieces, Half Chocolate Chip/Half Brownie and the Animal Cookies for my daughter. I tried the Reese's Pieces and I actually thought it was pretty good, but I think it was just because I am a fan of Reese's Pieces. The inside was clean and minimal and staff was friendly! I think they make a great gift for people and they have always picture worthy, but call me crazy - I much prefer to get my sweets and calories else where!"
"Partook in the too good to go surprise box. Came during the pickup window and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness from behind the counter. He said he would be right back, it seems like he packed the box and came back with it.Box was hot which he warned me about and was a good weight. Very small box so was happy to see that it was jam packed with goodies, including some hot dog type looking salty food. Donuts looked fresh also.Tried a bit of everything and it was delish. Great value packed in a small box with various goodies. One of the better too good to go boxes!"
"Thankfully found this gem on Yelp years ago and have been coming ever since. My family's go to order is the carnitas tostada (it's huge), asada tacos and the fried fish plate. We come here so often that the cashier knows our whole order. We've also ventured off and tried other things on the menu and they did not disappoint. The food here is always good and the prices are reasonable."
"My experience with the employees and the cookies were a 10/10! Excellent customer service from the girls working here. They were so sweet, informative, friendly and efficient workers. I haven't had crumble in a long time so when I saw that they had the Tres Leche cake I had to sprint on over and try it. I have to say, it was soooo good!! While there is no pumpkin in the tres leche cake it for sure tasted like I had ate a big serving of fall! Since were there we also wanted to try their Oreo and cream cheese cookie along with a classic chocolate chip cookie. All cookies were warm and crunchy on the corners but soft in the middle and just the perfect amount of sweetness on them. The cookies go best with a tall glass of milk! Enjoyed my experience. Date visited: 09/13/24"
"Met the owner, Terry. She has been in business for 43 years! Had a walnut chocolate chip cookie which was the most buttery soft thing I've ever tasted! A walk up and grab and go vibe of classic cookie flavors made fresh by the owner in the kitchen behind them."
"My kids and I love baked goods. It's a cute shop with a cozy atmosphere. We tried the brownies, powdered cookies, cannoli and of course the chocolate chip cookies. They were delicious! And so close to my house, we'll definitely be back."
"This marks my second visit to this establishment after a considerable interval. While the shop is easily noticeable from the street, the actual entrance is situated in an unconventional corner. On a chilly, rainy day, I treated my children to donuts. My daughter opted for mini donut holes, while my son selected donuts adorned with sprinkles. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their choices. It's worth noting that credit card transactions incur a fee of $0.40. The quality of their donuts is exceptional. Whether you're seeking a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon indulgence, they have assorted donuts to savor the sweetness palette."
"12/4/24-Popped in to see if I could find some goodies--- I did a review a while back but didn't see it..Sure did find some goodies!!Actually, a customer before me- was asking for an item, but they were out.Music to my ears " we have the Dubai chocolate"... what??? I've been wanting to try this for quite some time.. I bought four Dubai chocolates-, a slice of pistachio cake- and some kind of bread pastry with dates...Update: the pistachio cake was dry- per both son's..Price was$11.00..Oh my! Tastes like a milk chocolate with a crispy wafer..What's nice is they make all the items..Hoping t up go back tomorrow before heading home.."
"I've had great donuts, meh donuts, and bad donuts. These were great donuts and the ladies in front served with a smile. Got the chocolate bar and some donut holes and they were dense yet felt like they melted in your mouth. Grabbed a ham egg and cheese croissant also and is a definite recommendation."
"They have the best creamy dressing around! We go once a week to get the large size. I love all their food and never get tired of it."
"First heard about Tous Les Jours last year when my son was in New York City. So delighted that we now have one close by! The store has a great variety of cakes, pastries and baked goods. I did see some sandwiches too but not a whole lot. They were chicken salad (= If you've been to Paris Baguette, TLJ, is pretty much the same. Every time I come here, the employees are friendly and the store is clean. I always grab some milk bread rolls, which are a perfect light snack. Oh and don't forget to get some slices of cake, so good! If you're in the area, stop by and pick up some goodies!"
"Yen, Lily, Niko, Lili, Romero, Desereé, Q', Kay, Bun and Valerie. All have consistently provided such superb service. The sandwiches are always made perfect to order. The bakery is consistently YumYum, there is no need to tell Romero how to do his job, he operates on a gold medal standard. All of the breads, cookies, croissants, danishes, muffins, bagels, and coffee are outstanding!!! If you haven't tried their garlic bread, you haven't lived! The ambiance is very friendly. There is a lot of space, big tables, chairs and I love that they NEVER play the music loud. It makes for the perfect café to meet and talk with friends or have business meetings. One huge suggestion to the corporate owners would be to get the bathrooms renovated. I refuse to give anything below 5-stars because the standards of food and service has been soooo consistent over the last 3 years! I highly recommend this establishment."
