"Even though I may not be a kid anymore (or in my 20's, for that matter...), I can say with absolute certainty that I was no less excited to finally check out Round1. If anything, I was even more excited to check out the different arcade and crane games - now that my wallet is filled with adult money instead of an allowance or birthday money, I could spend to my heart's (read: budget's) content! After all, what's the point of making adult money if you don't get to spend it frivolously on childish things every now and again and again and again and again and again?Since we were here mostly to kill some time and for the benefit of my friends' kids (and, secretly, myself...) to run around and play in the arcade, I can't say much about the bowling lanes nor the food (it's typical amusement park food with some Japanese snack options). However, what I can say is that their arcade is impressively large and pretty well varied. Amongst their mix of both newer and older fighting, shooting, tempo/dancing, and racing games, there's also a bunch of Japanese arcade imports (the type of machines where you sit on a stool and play), coin pushers, claw/crane, and ticket based games. Not only that, most the plushies and prizes in the claw/crane and drop games are actually desirable (read: not random nor cheap/crappy).As much fun as I had playing several of the aforementioned games, I did notice several of the same "issues" that others have brought up in their reviews. Primarily with regards to how difficult their claw/crane games seem to be. Don't get me wrong - I assumed they weren't going to be easy, given the quality of the prizes and that making them too easy means making less money, but they definitely seemed harder than most others I've played in the past (not sure if the grips are loosened or if the cords are intentionally twisted). Also, while each individual play for the majority of the games here isn't ridiculously expensive, the amount you'll end up spending here can add up quickly if you aren't paying attention and/or pacing yourself with the constant and frequent swiping. That being said, it also applies to to any arcade that utilizes swipe cards instead of coins or tokens, so it's not something exclusive to Round1. In any case, considering how it's attached to the Westfield Galleria (with its own entrance and operating hours), this isn't a bad spot to take your kids while out shopping, a night out with friends, or just a nostalgic way to spend some of that hard earned adult money burning a hole in your wallet.THREE AND A HALF STARS rounded up."
"Totally overdue with my posts. We've been here at least 6 times and each time our kids are thrilled to try out the fun arcade games. They have several dance games, plush toys, prizes to win from the machines, motorcycle and etc. Great customer service here. Pro- staffs are wearing bright neon T-shirts so it's easy to spot them. It's located in the Folsom Outlet. If you purchase their game card, you have the option to pick dollar amount. I would suggest to keep the game card for next time after it empties. Each time you get a new card, they will charge you."
"Great vibe! The service was enjoyable, and it was such a Fun atmosphere, there are a variety of drinks and the games are nostalgic and fun! The power punch is my personal favorite, every time we are on DTT we stop here."
"This place continues to improve - definitely a good thing for the Rancho Cordova community. I'm guessing it may pick up some of the load from the recent closure of Jointed Cue Billiards, and I'd say it's up to the task.I dropped by for dinner tonight, and it was very good! I saw a new item on the menu and decided to give it a try - the Steak Burger - carne asada, cheese, onions and garlic on a hamburger bun - served with fries (which I upgraded to garlic fries). It was essentially a Philly Cheesesteak on a hamburger bun... but the added flavor of the carne asada marinade kicked it up a notch! Very good! Plenty of gooey-cheesy-liciousness. The garlic fries were on point too... nice and fresh and light and crisp like I like them.I do appreciate how this place is coming along - tables are in good shape, steel darts as well as electronic darts... a good variety of other games. The TVs are good quality, sharp, high contrast Samsungs... definitely a step above the typical Visios or other "B" brand TVs you see in many other sports bars.Another thing that's nice is the jukebox... they have it set to play music even if nobody's paying for it. You can still put money in it to play your songs if you want to... but you don't feel *forced* to just to break the silence. Lower revenue from the jukebox for them... but happier customers, I think.Keep it up!"
"After quite a bit of research to find someone who repairs stand up arcade games I came across Road Dog. I called Chris and expected to leave a message but was surprised that he answered as it was before his posted hours. I informed him that I had an issue I had with the screen flickering. He was planning to drop by my place as the game is very large/heavy and asked for a video of the screen flicker. After I sent the video he was very generous with his time and expertise assisting me via phone/text to solve the problem. Great resource for game needs, kind of like the old-fashioned hardware store worker who really knows what he's doing. Chris is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional."
"Chandler was very helpful and accommodating today, which kicked off a very fun afternoon for these two. After being at camp in the hot sun all morning, this was completely what the doctor ordered. They keep this place, how do I say, out-of-my-price range when it comes to the AC. In other words it is totally delightful up in here. The entire place is kept gorgeously clean and sanitized, the couches are cozy with backs at a nice tilt to either watch the game screens or comfortably review them on Yelp. Word on the street is that a second location is opening soon. CONGRATS to Bryan and his wonderful team here!!"
"The Games Room at Sacramento state is where I spent a good chunk of my free time after and between classes. Table tennis, video games (XBOX 360, PS3, etc), and pool tables. It has it all. Even when I lived on campus, I would make my way down here because this place was never empty. And I never failed having someone ask me for a friendly game of pool while I was practicing by myself over here. They have plenty of pool tables in great condition and I would spend a lot of time here because the rates are ridiculously cheap since I was a student. I could practice for hours and my wallet wouldn't hurt afterwards. I miss this place."
"My family and I had the chance to see this amazing trailer at an event in Auburn. We can't wait to schedule a booking of our own."
"We visited John's Incredible Pizza over the weekend to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to its pre-COVID reputation. Here's a detailed breakdown of our experience:Arrival and Timing:First off, I highly recommend arriving earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. When we got there early, the lines for the games were shorter, and there was more seating available in the various dining rooms.Food and Service:The buffet offers a decent variety of food, but the attendants were notably slow to replenish items. At the baked potato station, I had to scrape together the last remnants of toppings, and the ice machine was frequently down or out of ice cream cones. The soda station also took quite a while to get restocked with cups.Promotions and Offers:When I checked in on Yelp, I received an offer for 10 free credits. However, redeeming these credits was a hassle. The front desk attendant had no idea how to process them, and the same issue occurred when I tried at the back. One attendant even suggested it looked sketchy due to the lack of a barcode, and the manager was equally clueless. In the end, I gave up on redeeming the credits.Games and Rides:The games and rides are fun, but they require a lot of tickets, so the kids blew through their credits quickly. It would be better if the games offered more value for the tickets spent.Overall Experience:Despite the drawbacks, John's Incredible Pizza isn't the worst place to take your kids for a meal and some arcade fun, especially considering there's no strict time limit on how long you can stay. However, it's not the best either, particularly when compared to its pre-COVID standards."
"Drove up from Elk Grove to attend a birthday party and what a fun time we had! The birthday decor they provided was so cute (sorry no pics) but they provided light up letters to spell the birthday boy/girls name, had food and beverage stations set up upon arrival. The kids had a great time! The food provided was pizza, chicken tenders and fries and they were all great in flavor and presentation. Aside from the party food we decided to order a few apps from the bar area (Buffalo cauliflower and pretzel sticks) both weee AMAZING! And I would go back just for the bar food! $7.50 for a white claw was a little steep (but it didn't stop us from ordering 2.)The bartender, party attendant and manager were all very welcoming and provided great service. Bathrooms were clean and parking was ample. The arcade was also a hit! Def will be back !"
"This is the premier spot to play pinball in Sacramento. With 30 machines (and counting!) in pristine condition, this place is not to be missed by pinball pros and newbies alike. They have games from all eras and are all in excellent condition. The owner is on site and constantly working on machines to ensure they play like new.No quarters? No problem. There's a coin machine on site and the owner even offered to take Venmo in exchange for quarters. He will do what it takes to make sure the most people have access to this community. As of now they do not have food and drink on site but that also means more room for more pinball and more fun for all ages. We came back two nights in a row when we were in town for a wedding and were so excited to bring family back the second night. Everyone had a great time and got such a positive experience with one of our favorite pastimes. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Capital Pinball Parlor because it's going to be bright."
"I had the pleasure of coming here on a date. The screens were large enough that I was able to watch the Titans vs. Niners game with my date. I ordered the lamb burger, fries and a cocktail. The lamb burger was extremely tender and a good portion. I enjoyed the feta cheese and spinach on the burger too. I was able to eat a burger on a date without looking like a messy eater. And, it was healthy. 10/10 would like to come here again"

This is a pretty cool place for younger and older kids. I heard about it a lot in the past but this is the first time we've been. Actually it's the first time being back to The Galleria since the pandemic. They have a variety of games to get those cute stuffy dolls, a bowling alley, a billiard and I also saw Karaoke. There were 3 party rooms that I think I saw and a small food court which my husband said too bad we didn't come here first. Will definitely bring the kid back here to play in the near future.

Although me and my husband love playing pool, we actually came here because I saw they had steel tip darts. When we parked, there was a man outside whom I am assuming worked there (but not sure) who said they had a huge tournament going on and there were no tables available. Since we were there for darts, it didn't matter so we went in anyways. Inside was huge and spacious and lots of tables. And there were several available for play, as it appears the tournament was coming to the end. Should we had been there to actually play pool and this guys said that, we woulda never walked in and would have missed out on playing because of his misinformation. As I said, not sure if he was an employee or not, so not holding that against Diamond Billiards at all. We made our way back to bar area to inquire about darts, unfortunately to play steel tip darts, you have to bring your own, which we did not and while they had the plastic boards, it's just not the same so we opted to leave. Normally we would have just played pool but the couple we were with wanted to hit some breweries in the area. Overall, it was spacious, lots of tables, decent price per hour and our interaction with staff at the bar was pleasant. It's kinda far from us, but I'd like to return and play for a date night.

Chris is amazing. He really knows what he is doing and he will come to your house. He is very busy and one of the few people (if not the only person) in the area that does repairs. He fixed several arcades of mine in 1 day and his prices are more than reasonable. Don't hesitate to message him. He's very busy and might take some time to get to you but he is definitely worth the wait.

We rented out the entire place for my twins 16th birthday party. It was a HUGE hit! We had 17 players and the 2 hours of play time worked well. It takes just a bit to get acclimated to the equipment. Everyone had a great time. The staff is so great. They really have a great system set up, it's easy to get help when anyone needs it and they know the games inside and out. There's a Nintendo Switch to play for anyone who wants to. They provided a table and anything we needed for the celebration part of the party. I highly recommend!

This place is a decent place to come if you are bored in between classes, need to do something to "zone out" for awhile due to the stress of the semester, or feel like being a social creature. There's video games and pool tables galore. This place was almost always buzzing with people when I visited.

"The manager reached out and invited us back, we went during normal hours and had a great time! It was much better- the employees were smiling and inviting- people were around to answer questions and help. Lots of things were still roped off but that didn't make a huge difference because we were able to get an employee to open it pretty quickly, and also had more than a few minutes to explore the place. Everyone left smiling :). We also had a better understanding of how the place operates (I.e. had to find someone to let us in) so that made it easier to enjoy. Definitely will bring the kiddos back again. I appreciated their willingness to listen and help!"
"This place is great and I highly recommend it. The owner is highly knowledgeable and accommodating. There are multiple driving options and it's such a fun thing to do on the weekends. My husband loves this and we frequent race to reality."
"The staff here is extremely helpful And friendly. The claws are pretty good and the prize options were adorable! Love the trade up option!! Also love that the games take tokens and not a digital card with points. We will be back!!"
"5 of the workers were very unapproachable at the front desk we asked to cash in a Groupon and buy bowling passes for the 4 of us every single worker at the front desk even the older guy with grey hair brushed us off every-time we talked to anyone they told us laser guy was busy and we needed to wait and while we waited he would also need to take a lunch break ummm puzzled at the facts that we weren't offered our arcade cards or bowling like we asked just brushed off 2 of them even walked away as I was talking to them they found a 3rd guy and all 3 walked away and just literally stood there doing nothing!!!!! So wait if laser is busy Why not get started on the arcade if you can't do that Take our money for bowling !!!!! Get us started bowling After I got snippy all of a sudden someone would help me we did the arcade and laser the kids were off the hook rude cussing smacked and beating each other up and the workers said nothing!!! I walked a kid run full speed into a window!! While a worker just stood there There was garbage everywhere tissues plates chewed up cupcakes empty containers how about putting the workers that were doing nothing to work!!!! The snack bar lady was extremely nice and the girl from the redemption area was hecka nice and gave extra attention to the little dude the boy with long hair at the snack bar was moving!!!! Making pizza ect working hard!!!!!"
"We'd never been here before and thought we'd give it a try. What a fun time! Went on a Thursday night and they had a league going, but got us right in. The place looks new inside and we were told it had been recently remodeled. Comfortable seating, friendly staff any good fries/pretzels. Plus, they have gutter bumpers you can set to pop up for only the bowler that needs them. It's a drive for us, but I'm sure we'll be back."
"It's a fun indoor mini golf that's great for all ages. There's 18 holes and spaced out in different rooms. The themes are water related-- pirates, mermaids, sharks, and fish. It felt a bit like pirates of Caribbean which was pretty cool. The wait wasn't too bad and groups go in pretty quick. I went over the weekend waited 10 minutes. and kept busy at the arcade. Staff were very friendly and patient as my child was selecting his prize with his tickets. Minus one star for some of the inappropriate props for a place that is "family fun" such as a topless mermaid statue that is only covered with strands of hair and booze decorations."
"1/17/2019: I've been searching for a rainy day, play area where I may safely take my Grand-Daughter for the day; I wouldn't leave her alone playing by herself. I would prefer just hanging out playing with her at Kids' Quest despite, the fact, I know you must pay using the area but, so what: It's still a cool space where she may safely run around without injuring herself! BTW: I paid £7.00 entering Winter Wonderland in London UK and actually, Kids' Quest's admission fee is comparable to Winter Wonderland. Also, it's not dusty or dirty; the entire area is very clean, indeed.Aside, Kids' Quest has a snack bar where pizza, an assortment of finger foods, and drinks cater to any child's taste buds, a plethora of Jungle Jims for climbing, and exploring. All in all, the color, play areas, and decor are geared towards children's sight, sound, and tactile qualities.I just hope there's a creative artwork area where children can create, draw, and design their art and have the ability giving something beautiful they made with their heart and hands to their parents which would be so incredibly awesome!"
"We had so much fun here! Came on Halloween night after trick-or-treating. Service was friendly and they had a lane open for us in only 10 minutes. We came from Swansboro and was definitely worth the drive. Will be back to enjoy again soon!"
"WHY WE WENT HERE:- date nightTHE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE):- located in a plaza off Madison Ave and College Oak Dr- PLENTY of parking availableTHE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE):- not how it looks outside- very fun and clean!- nice arcade in the front off the entrance- there's a main bowling area in the rear but also some lanes to bowl off the opposite side of the arcade in the front off the entranceTHE EXPERIENCE:- neither of us have bowled in YEARS so this was a refreshing experience- SO made a reservation for us and we had a lane that felt private (one of the ones by the entrance)- shoes appeared to be clean and not beat up either - drank adult beverages that were pretty strong while bowlingCUSTOMER SERVICE:- check in at the front counter was a breeze- there was an error in trying to put names for a 2-player game in our lane so the SO had to go back to the front counter for them to manually write names- server was attentive but not overbearing"
"After grabbing dinner for a birthday celebration, we planned on going bowling. We arrived next door at the Alley, and the vibe just wasn't for us. It was stupidly crowded, music so loud we had to yell at eachother. The place had more of a bar/club vibe than anything else. We decided to wander next door and check out the mini golf instead. Some 2000's throwback music was playing (but not obnoxiously loud) , a kids birthday party was wrapping up in the corner, and a handful of couples seemed to be enjoying their date nights. We decided to give this place a try. Overall it was a solid choice of entertainment for the evening. But I took a few stars away for the following reasons: 1. Cleanliness could be better. I sure hope they sanitize regularly. Might I even suggest hand sanitizer available and trash cans throughout the course. 2. The putting green where you place the ball at the start of each hole we're loose and spinning or completely detached on many of the holes. It made it difficult to hit the ball without making it move and fumble. These need to get repaired"
"Yoooooo this place is DOPE! $10 for an hour or $15 for 2 hours? Great way to bring back all the childhood feels and beat the heat on a hot afternoon. Staff were friendly and funny. Beers are cold. Bring the kids, don't bring the kids, just come here and have a good time."
"Omg this was SO fun! My friends and i had such a blast! It was our first time so we did not know what to expect. With majority of us (party of 7) being gamers, we were naturally competitive and got into the missions immediately. We were so serious about winning and working as a team.. it was hilarious. Non-stop laughter! LolWhen you enter, there are two separate play areas. It's an open floor plan so there's alot of space to walk around. We did the hero zone option for an hour play and got to play 4 games 15-20 min each. Highly recommend the zombie and cooking game. We will definitely be coming back and inviting others. 5/5 for experience and fun!"
"They recently put in new carpet!!!! It's bright, fun and still gives the 80's vibes. Can you tell I'm an 80's kid. Our kids love going to the Arcade here, I love that they participate with the Get Out Pass which we have so we come here often. I didn't take pics of the bowling alley part but I also like the Sacramento art work here. I grew up in North Highlands so this is a fun place to bring my kids and tell them this is where we often hung out at as kids."
"Fun indoor play center located in a highly populated shopping area! Lots of food options around if you didn't want to eat inside. The food is super limited here, I'm talking just pepperoni or cheese pizza and some snacks, but the pizza was actually pretty good! They do have ICEEs as well. You can do a few different things here - the indoor bounce house, laser tag, or arcade games. The arcade section is relatively small though compared to other places like Dave and Busters. I didn't see the laser tag but I think the highlight is definitely the big bounce house and slides. It's more than just a trampoline park which we have a few of already in Sacramento. The toddlers enjoyed themselves but only lasted about 30 minutes. I think it's definitely more geared towards a little bit older kids but then it does make it difficult making sure they're not running into little ones. They didn't have an age restriction but it does require you to have a parent if the child is under 4 (parent is free with the child's wristband). Our son is 2 1/2 and I wouldn't recommend any younger than that. It's $20 for an hour in the bounce house so I'd say it's pretty worth it if the child can stay in there the whole time! There is plenty of seating and tables available and they had TVs for parents waiting around. It's not a huge place but it's something different to try!"
"This place is amazing I've been here many many times and I just came home from it also the person that works there he is super super nice he is amazing the place is really fun lots of games and it's just a really really fun Way to spend time with your kids and family I really love it and fuck I would've give it 20 billion stars or more."
"I've been coming to Pacific Avenue Bowl for many years dating back to childhood. It's a great spot to hang out for bowling and have a fantastic time with friends, family, co-workers, teammates, by yourself, etc. The staff members are always helpful and friendly. I like how there is a bar area for drinks. All of my visits have been positive experiences. I recommend coming here."
"Recently, I visited Sacramento for a conference, and one of my friends mentioned this location as a place to visit after the conference was done. I have gone axe throwing before and decided that this would be a great opportunity to visit and hang out with some friends.First, this place has to be one of the chillest locations ever for an axe-throwing venue. The people, the host, and the workers are all super polite and upbeat. They even take the time to help you get better at throwing your axe.Additionally, they have some great selections of beer on tap, and for those that don't drink, they have fountain drinks. If you aren't into axe throwing, and just want a place to hangout, this is a great location to do so as well. They have older arcard games, some pool tables, foosball, pop a shot, and more. It has something for everyone."
"Saw this place on television, aired on Good Day Sacramento and was stoked. Ive known the owners for a long time and i cant say enough good things about them and this place! Go here now! Best pinball games and atmosphere! Draft beer and roger avalos cant hang! Good times forever"
"The chicken wings are AMAZING! Best in town. I also had the Philly, which was also awesome."
