"The food is amazing!!! We have came back our second time now. We had the abundance salad & fritters & squash pasta with Brussels sprouts it was absolutely ahhhmazing!!! If you are looking for a place that has good vibes and healthy food with unique taste this is the place. Ayden was our waiter and he was very helpfulWith recommendations and service! We will be back again for sure !"
"We came here after a full day of screams at the water park... the hot day wouldn't be complete without some ice cream! We had a great server, super kind and attentive.. super quick service came over right away with waters and shortly after our ice cream Sundays came. Of course I got photos of everyone's ice cream but my own but the Rocky road was delicious! And the caramel sauce... wow I never knew what I was missing.... I kinda wish I still didn't know lol! It was fantastic! The cookies and cream was a huge hit... as well as the black and white. Overall a fun trip to Leatherby's The store was clean and all the staff as friendly, I wish I got out this way more often!"

"Good old fashioned Country Cafe! Biscuits and gravy, Eggs and bacon, hot coffee and flap jacks! Saucy waitresses who can work, chew gum, and keep up a banter if solicited. Omelettes are big and so are all portions. Kitschy decorating and homey foods sums it up! Go!"
"Came here for a group dinner after work. Place is great for large parties as we had about 12. They were very understanding about separating the food on one bill and drinks on one bill. Our server knows his menu really well. I asked for a recommendation and he said, the meatloaf. I took his recommendation and it hit the spot! If waaay better than Cheesecake Factory. It was super moist and the mash was really good. Very smashed as it was smooth like butta'! Huge parking lot so parking isn't an issue! Server was great as he kept coming back asking how we were, how the food was and etc. definitely a go to if I'm ever in the area for work!!"
"$17.25 for this? Flavor was good but this portion is way too small for almost $20 before delivery fee and taxes! Do better..."
"We went to Midgely's Public House on December 23rd to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is located in Lincoln Village in Stockton and the entire area was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I booked a reservation through Open Table and check-in was simple and easy. The lady who checked us in also wished us a Happy Anniversary which was nice! The hostess took us to a table that wasn't clean, but we stood by waiting while she quickly bussed and cleaned it. This was a little strange since the restaurant was empty and there were plenty of booths and tables available. Our server, was great - very attentive and friendly. My husband and I ordered a dozen oysters which were superb, flavorful and good sized. I had a Bailey's coffee and my husband ordered a crisp Savignon Blanc. We shared a French Onion soup (perfection) and each ordered the house ribeye steaks which were nicely done. For dessert, we split a creme brulee which was delicious. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The Happy Hour menu and specials looked pretty good and we're excited to try it!"
"For dinner last night, we ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs and breakfast potatoes (to-go). We ordered through the Yelp app, which took us to the Brookfield's website and were able to customize how we wanted our eggs (poached and over easy) and what toast we wanted (English muffin and white). We were disappointed it didn't allow us to customize and put the gravy on the side or add on extra (we were willing to pay). It was ready on 20 minutes and when we picked it up, the restaurant was not busy. I got to the front and requested the extra sides of gravy and when the young woman came back with a 3rd container, it was because the kitchen didn't put the poached eggs. So, if I hadn't asked for gravy, there would've not been eggs with one of the meals. Thankfully, that didn't happen. When we got home, just as we suspected, the CFS's were soggy. If we could have used the section to write in a customization, that is what we would've requested, but for some reason, the Brookfield's website has this feature turned off. One of our CFS's had a lot of gristle, the meat had no flavor. I think the breading would've tasted great if it was not soggy. Their country gravy has meat in it and that tasted pretty good! The poached eggs were overcooked, the over eat eggs still had slimy whites. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good and the toasted bread both came with their housemade strawberry jam (no seeds) which was soooo delicious! Next time, we will sit inside and give the CFS another try... so far, I know I am a huge fan of their fish & chips. Not sure about the CFS just yet"
"The Bear is a staple. These days for me I've enjoyed their brunch to mix things up. #underratedbrunchTheir breakfast burrito is as good as it gets, especially with their house fermented hot sauce. Not the largest menu, but no skips all bangers...the breakfast pizza...the chilaquiles....the specials. It's all Golden. Do it."
"This is a must stop if you're passing through. Delicious breakfast, gluten free options, and if you can, order the prickly pear mimosa! Everyone working there is also super friendly. We can't wait to go back!"
"This place has outside seating, fair prices and authentic food. The crispy chicken tacos were really good and the papa burrito was okay (alittle too mushy for me- i want to taste the fries and steak more). I'll definitely come back to try their "famous" burger."
"Yesterday we had dinner at Dickey's. Ribs, shredded pork and chicken were yummy. Loaded mashed potatoes were delicious but the green beans were inedible with too much pepper. We ate inside, restaurant was clean and staff was attentive."
"The service is fast and the food is amazing. Their number 10 item on the breakfast menu is chicken fried steak with gravy, hash browns, and toast. I eat a ketogenic diet. When I take vacations, this is the bomb!"

My friend told me about this place. It's upstairs from Thai Basil, so I got a little confused with which door to use. Once I found the right door, I went up the stairs, and I was inside this beautiful space with lots of natural light from the windows. The all vegan brunch menu had tons of delicious looking options. I wanted a chocolate chip waffle, but I'm weird about gluten-free stuff (I usually don't care for it), so I decided on the biscuits and gravy instead since the biscuits weren't gluten free.I usually don't like impossible sausage, but the gravy was delicious and the biscuits were perfection. My partner got the breakfast sandwich that comes on a waffle, and it was super good too. Awesome place with great food, all-gender bathroom, and super nice staff.

Leatherby's is serving up old school sundaes with their housemade ice cream and typical diner food, like burgers, sandwiches, and fries. We love having date night here on Tuesdays for their special meal deal. For $39.99, you can choose 2 entrees (NOT the crab sandwich or Daddy Dave burger), 2 fountain drinks, and 2 large sundaes (2 flavors and 1 topping)! With the inflated prices of going out to eat these days, this deal saves you a lot of money, which is much appreciated. We walked in and even though the place was just half full, the staff looked busy and possibly short-staffed. It took a few minutes before someone came to us, but we were seated right away. The young staff were very friendly and efficient with a positive attitude. Kudos to them for staying on top of things and their work ethic. We ordered the tri tip sandwich and the western tri tip sandwich (the bbq version), both with fries. Our food came up fast and fries were hot and crispy. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and fries that were a good enough portion to still enjoy the sundaes. We came at 6pm and were trying to get out in an hour to catch a movie. We were about 15 minutes late for our movie, but it was worth it. We ended up getting the rest of our sundaes to go.If you're not doing Taco Tuesday, try Leatherby's instead!

I ordered lunch today from Granite Rock Grille via DoorDash. What I received was good.My Lexi's Tuna Stuffed Avocado was fresh, large and well packaged. The Tuna was tasty, and it complemented the rest of the Salad very well. It consisted of lettuce, hardboiled egg, red onion and cabbage, radish and croutons. I will order again.Cost competitive.

The service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly and professional with a great sense of humor.I loved sitting on the screened in porch. Even if it's a view of the parking lot it's still a very pleasant experienceThe chicken salad was perfect. They use rotisserie chicken which made it so much better. The dates and goat cheese made it even better.

My husband and I choose Brookfield's much of the time when we eat out. I also used to meet regularly with two friends for dinner, and Brookfield's was our go to spot. The atmosphere and staff are welcoming and pleasant. The food is always well portioned and tasty. I've tried a variety of dishes, including salads as well as "meat and potatoes" style meals. I'm never disappointed. The service is always good, as well.

I recently had a great dinner experience at Midley's Public House with my girls! I really appreciated the option to make a reservation online, which made planning our night easy. The only hiccup was that our server mixed up my order with my friend's. I initially thought my ribeye steak was overcooked, but it turned out that I had received her steak instead. I ordered mine medium rare, but even though the steak I got was well done, it wasn't as dry as I expected, and I still found it quite satisfying. The portion was very filling, and I couldn't resist finishing my whole plate. The potatoes were delicious too! Overall, despite the mix-up, I had a lovely time and enjoyed my meal. I would definitely recommend Midley's for a fun night out!

Shannon is the best server. She was personable, attentive, and very patient when my toddler spilled her hot chocolate all over the booth. Our food came out quickly even the last minute order we put in was ready very shortly after. All the food was delicious and very good portion for the price. Shannon made sure our waters were always filled and the sodas were filled as well. It's not very often you get good service like we did tonight before they closed. I hope next time we go we can sit in her section again. Great Job shannon!

"We visited Jamie's Café in the Sacramento Elk Grove area for a weekend breakfast with family, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The photos on Yelp helped us decide to try this spot, and we're so glad we did!We arrived around 8:30 AM and were seated right away. The staff quickly set up a table for our group of nine and made us feel welcome. They offered a variety of drinks, including juice, flavored teas, water, and mimosas with flavors like peach, mango, and pomegranate, all served in charming mason jars. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the deep-fried French toast with strawberries, avocado and egg toast, Grandma's biscuits and gravy, and Dad's Mash Up. Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The café itself is beautifully set up, adding to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere.By the time we finished around 10 AM, the place was extremely busy, so if you don't want to wait for a table, it's best to go early. We did receive tea refills once, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating overall. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in the area, Jamie's Café is definitely worth a visit!"
"We've been here quite a few times now. We live on the south side of Rancho Cordova, about a 15 minute drive away, but it's always a pleasure to stop in if we happen to be passing by.A lot of times, we'll stop in for a drink to wet our whistle before heading home from our son's house. The bar is cozy and friendly. Daniel is a great bartender and we always enjoy the drinks he makes for us. Tobin has been our server on a few occasions when we've stopped in for a meal, and he has been friendly and attentive to our requests.Smokey Oaks Tavern Owner, Steve, is awesome. He always greets us with a friendly smile and asks us how we are.As I may have mentioned in other reviews, their brisket French dip is insanely delicious. As the restaurant's name might provide a clue, they smoke their own meats! To perfection!"
"I pretty much had given up on going to my regular Jack's urban eats, because the quality, the portions, and let's face it, the prices have all changed. I was finding that the quality of food, and the portions had diminished so much that with the increase in price it just was no longer a reasonable place to enjoy good food. And then this happened... We were over in the Arden area, specifically at Loeman's plaza, and decided to stop in to Jack's. I was rather hesitant, but I jumped in and ran with it. I'm so glad that I did. This location made me love Jack's all over again. Are the prices still high? Of course. But the food quality, taste, and overall yummy is still there. The portions could be better, I think we're all looking for what we used to enjoy versus what we are currently enjoying. We ordered the steak salad and the spicy buffalo sandwich, and their original intent was to share. I ordered the urban fries instead of the regular fries with the spicy buffalo sandwich. I'm used to the fries definitely having more urban goodness poured over them, and this was definitely lacking, as was the portion size. The spicy chicken sandwich was really good. It was perfectly covered in buffalo sauce, cooked perfectly, and was really good. I wasn't a fan of the bun and it makes me question if they've changed vendors. The bun just seemed to be off. The steak salad was really tasty. With a variety of green goodness from kale, avocado, and so much more goodness, tossed into the salad, and almost was like the steak was a sidenote. Just because it was tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly, could've used more seasoning, but it was good nonetheless. There's plenty of parking, and parking is free. Thank you Jack's, for restoring my faith in you. Now, if we could do something about the portion sizes and the cost factor, we would all be loving you on a more regular basis"
"One of the best corned beef hash meals (with eggs, tomato slices and two pancakes) in town. (We've been checking out places with corned beef hash lately.) Real corned beef cubes! Our server Beth was friendly and attentive to our needs. We'll be back."
"Lots of flavor, a tangy sauce and a crunch to go with it!Service was quick -within a few minutes of sitting down.Wasn't too busy but I did notice lots of outdoor seating bc it was a glorious day and seats were filled. Nice day to eat outside"
"Five of us had a great meal this evening. We ordered onion rings and zucchini sticks for appetizers. All of us had different meals: fish & chips, steak salad, steak sandwich, chicken sandwich and one more thing I can't remember. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was friendly."
"Our second time here. This dine-in was for Sacramento's Dine Downtown 2025. Street parking wasn't a challenge this Friday afternoon before 5 pm.The place was empty when we got seated around 4:30. Definitely lit for dinner in a bar vibe. Told our host and server that we were there for Sac's DD and requested for the cocktail & drinks menu with the event's sheet menu.I opted for the wine pairing while my wife got her usual espresso based libation (Bourbon Creme Espresso). Our server (Nikki) got the gist that we would be getting all the choices for the pre-fixe 3-course.Course 1: Smoked Oyster Green Salad and Ahi Tuna Tartare. Paired with Chardonnay Course 2: Pernil Pork Cheeks and Pistachio Crusted Lamb.Paired with ChiantiCourse 3: Fried Apple Pie and S'more's Lava Cake. Paired with Port wine. Food was good and wife liked the cocktail. I thought the pairing could've been better. Service was topnotch. Our server was friendly and engaging. The management also checked on us every now and then which was nice."
"We order from them Doordash a lot. The breakfasts are good and will fill you up. We like the eggs benedict and the pancakes with bacon, eggs, sausage June meal. There are a lot of different options and you can't go wrong if your looking for a good breakfast."
"Went here today for the first time and we will be back soon for sure! The BBQ Brisket sandwich was delicious! My daughter had the turkey plate w/asparagus and mashed potatoes- she loved it! My mom had the Turkey Corn Chowder as a side- we'd both order that as a main course- was hearty and tasted so good! Needless to say, we all left full and happy with our orders. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming- thank you Jacks Urban Eats team- great job!! The menu has something for everyone and the prices are fair for the vast amount of food- you won't leave hungry."
"My first time here. The inside was really cute. We had the coffee and they had half and half, vanilla, and hazelnut creamer. My kids ordered the hot chocolate. We all enjoyed our food. One pancake may of been a little overcooked but still yummy. Their service and staff were very attentive and friendly. They also had some Filipino options that I want them try next time. Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back."
"Found ourselves in Jackson tonight and there were only a couple of restaurants open within walking distance. We didn't want to pay for the more expensive Italian restaurant and ended up at Mel and Faye's. The place was hopping! Inside and outside. We ended up getting and splitting a 10 oz NY Steak w/salad, vegetables, Texas toast and baked potato. It was more than enough for both of us. Our server was adorable! I can't remember the last time we got that kind of attention, especially when they were so busy and missing a couple of servers. It was obviously a favorite for locals and it was enjoyable to watch their interactions."
"We had a coworker who was leaving us, so we took him here for lunch as a send-off. The Kick 'N Mule was a bit of hard to find. You drive inside the shopping center and they're located in the inside nearest West Capitol Avenue. And looking for a parking spot was a bit of a nightmare (especially during meal times). Good thing I had a handicapped pass which allowed me to park in the 15 minutes zones. The others in our group weren't that lucky. But the place was very nice and cozy for a sports bar. A bit dark, but the place was very clean. In the center was the bar and around it were dining tables (or cubicles that could probably fit 3 to 4 people - more if they were skinnier). The service was really good! We were greeted the moment we arrived and our drink orders were immediately taken. There was around twelve in our party, but that didn't hinder the speed of the service. The food was also great. Our boss ordered Deep Fried Oreos and everyone said it tasted really good - I had to abstain because of my doctor's orders to stay away from sweets. But my main order, a Mushroom Swiss Burger was really good! And the side of french fries was really commendable! Plus the price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.If you are in the area, you should give Kick 'N Mule a try..."
"It was my first time here. The food was amazing and the service was the best I've seen at any place in many years. The Bird's Nest Benedict was amazing and really 2 portion compared to any other restaurant. The Louisiana omelette was huge and big enough for two and packed full of ingredients. The fish and chips were so delicious and the fish (two pieces) was lightly battered with a beer batter and a perfect portion for one. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back!"
"Jack's is one of our favorite spots to eat.... Has something for everyone in the family! Kids love the Mac n cheese & chicken strips and I always order them a side of cheesy broccoli. The salads are my personal favorite! They have great combos to choose from or you can create your own. Salad topping choices being endless & you can add as much meat as you'd like. My husband always gets their sandwiches, but the salmon plate might be the best thing on the menu! Whatever you do, DON'T skip the urban fries! Those are a MUST! Service is great, staff is friendly, restaurant is clean with a good vibe!"
"Great spot with a homey feel. We unfortunately came too late for food- but had our fair share of drinks. Paco at the bar has great energy and is very welcoming."
"I loved this place! Stopped here to get snack. The service was great, fast, and the food was good! It is in downtown Sacramento so it was a lively, and fun place. Also got a chai latte and loved that! I usually get a cold latte but would definitely recommend this place!"
"Shelby takes wonderful care of us. The coveted patio makes for a lovely evening. Their Knots are sooo tasty. Oh, and the Hawaiian Shrimp are like I am in the islands."
"If I were to take a wild guess, I think that the building that houses this delightful restaurant was formerly an auto repair shop. The bar area is wide open to what is now seating. I loved the ambiance and how the building was reused. I like to sit outside and look at the historic buildings nearby.Of course, there has to be more than a cool location to bring us back more than once. I have tried different things each time. The street-style seared beef Tres Tacos with crispy potatoes and house guacamole was tasty and worth reordering. My mother would be shocked, that I like Brussels sprouts, but I do. The serving was generous; there was more than enough for me to take some home. On ou last visit I had Chef Antwyne Gumbo over. The menu said that it was medium heat. I might have become a hot food wuss; this dish was too hot, not spicy, that I only took a few bites and brought it home. I was able to tame the hot and enjoyed my leftovers, although, I would not order it again. I drank water but they have a good beer menu.K ordered the burgers and they did look good. I will try one the next time."
"We tried the Cornerstone Cafe & Bar (J Street) for lunch yesterday. This was our first experience eating there. It was lunch time but not busy ... maybe 8 other folks having lunch. My hunch is business picks up significantly in the evening. Nice, but low key, bar atmosphere. Service was very good. Our order consisted of their soup of the day and two salads. The soup was Beef Vegetable. A little short on beef but hardy and good ... house made. I also enjoyed my Shrimp Louie - Bed of fresh greens topped with bay shrimp, avocado, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumber slices and paprika. Generous amount of tasty shrimp. The other salad was Tuna. It too included a bed of fresh greens with hardboiled egg, tomato and cucumber slices and topped with homemade tuna salad.Very reasonable prices. This was a good experience"
"I absolutely love the chicken noodle soup at lumberjack. I went there for my lunch break today because I read that they have chicken noodle soup every day so I tried it and it is really good. It actually tastes homemade. I have a feeling I'm going to be going there for soup almost at least once a week, especially when it rains."
"Friendly staff. Great food and huge beer selection. We went between lunch and dinner so not too busy. We will be back!"
"Came here for dinner. Customer service was great. The location and vibes were good. Ordered chicken and waffles. Which was good. The chicken tenders were above average. While also being nice and crispy. The waffles were really good."
"Really good food! amazing service. Seems like there's been a positive change to the business lately.Would recommend"
