The food was very impressive and came out piping hot. We enjoyed everything except for the special that was $140 dollars. It was not worth it and I told my husband to never order anything that is on special. I don't typically order chicken, but the cordon blue is hands down the best thing ever and I love when you take a simple salad and transform it into something so wonderful. The service was great and we did not wait long for our food to arrive. My friends all were impressed with what they ordered and I would say this is my favorite steakhouse. This restaurant is on the smaller, but intimate side and you would need to make a reservation if it's a larger party. You can always grab a bite at the bar as well because this place has a relaxing vibe and I like the dark lighting. I can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu!

My wife and I decided to have a date night at CK Steakhouse, and we were thoroughly impressed! We're huge fans of Ruth's Chris, especially because of the sizzling plates their steaks are served on. To our surprise, CK does the same thing, which immediately set the tone for a fantastic experience. The bartender was excellent, offering a great selection of drinks that paired perfectly with our meal. The steak? Cooked to absolute perfection. The sides were delicious as well, but the highlight for me was the oysters--fresh as advertised and bursting with flavor.CK Steakhouse has officially won us over, and it's now our new go-to spot for a great steak dinner. Highly recommend!

A super overdue review! We took a chance the very first time we came here since it's unassuming on the outside, and had the old school steak house vibes inside. Had no idea what to expect but wanted to try something new. We have been visiting ever since!!This is the only restaurant in the area with quality oysters like shingokus and kumamotos. Their broiled option is so delicious with the chorizo lime butter. The crab cakes are the best we have ever had anywhere! Just mostly crab and barely any fillers. Ever since the lead server/bartender Matt joined, we have been coming here on basically a weekly cadence. After he's joined the menu had some refreshes and updates, and the current menu is just wonderful. The scallops, salmon steak, steamed clam bowl, meatballs, lamb, filet mignon, just everything. And king crab legs! So delicious! We have tried most of the menu and have no complaints on any of the dishes. The menu has enough variety that we don't get bored even coming here so regularly. Matt is also very consistent when it comes to service so we actually try to plan to dine when he's working. If you're a big seafood lover this place is honestly much better than Scott's. And I rarely get meat dishes but I know my man thinks they are great from duck to lamb to filet. I do really like their mashed potatoes and forest mushrooms too. There are some lunch options like the chicken caesar (thin chicken schnitzel with anchovies OMG!) and burgers, hot dogs as well. There's something for every palate, occasion or just because, and every budget as well. Cheers and enjoy!

First date night since having a baby and mama wanted a nice, juicy steak. That's exactly what she got and then some at C. Knight's Steakhouse in the beautiful El Dorado Hills. This restaurant may be 30+ minutes from me but it was so worth it. Great customer service. Intimate ambiance. Delicious food - 5 stars! 1. Filet Mignon Carpaccio - this must be one of the top beef carp I have ever tried, top 5 for sure. The meat was sliced so thinly, paired with arugula, crispy crostini's and capers. Every bite was heavenly. Perfect marriage between savory and acidic. 10/10, I would order again! 2. 16oz Ribeye - big enough to share with my husband. Delicious steak cooked to perfection. Would recommend ordering your steak 1 level less because the plates they serve them on are sizzling hot and continues to cook your steak when they are brought out to the table. Sides to order: 1. Potatoes Au Gratin - Seriously the best Au Gratin ever! Get this, this was French fries style. You can taste the truffle cheese with pieces of bacon and creamy, creamy sticky oOoOgoeyyy with every bite! I'm still dreaming about these potatoes, they are that good! All in all, this date night was a success that included great food from a nice restaurant. Would recommend this place to friends and family; I can't wait to go back!

I must admit, I am not super impressed with C Knights. For a steakhouse in El Dorado Hills, I was expecting high standards, but I am afraid it did not meet my expectations.I went in for my wife's birthday dinner. We had reservations and I specifically requested booth seating for a more formal and intimate setting, but we were seated at a table and chair setting right at the entrance. What's the use of making reservations if you cannot honor requests? We decided to put that behind us, but overall, things were pretty chaotic. We didn't receive a drinks menu initially, and even after asking for one, we had to wait quite a bit. By the time we got the menu, we didn't even feel like ordering drinks anymore. The appetizers were decent. My wife had the oysters, and I had the scotch egg, which was a bit dry and needed the dressing to make it juicy and soft. The oysters plate didn't look very impressive, but they were okay. For the main course, my wife ordered the cioppino, and I got the swordfish steak. The cioppino looked authentic but was mild on spice and salt. It needed a lot of seasoning to make it palatable. It was listed at $45 on the menu, but we were charged $75 on the bill. Our server mentioned it was "market price" and then showed us a menu that listed it as such. The swordfish steak was good but tiny for the price.Surprisingly, none of their dishes come with a side, so you have to purchase those separately. The temperature in the dining room was also quite warm. I couldn't tell if the AC wasn't working or if they didn't have good ventilation. Additionally, they charge $5.95 for a credit card transaction, even if the bill is close to $300.Overall, C Knights did not leave a great impression on me. I will be giving them a pass and looking for other dining options for future events.

The interior is cool, feels like an old western steakhouse. My steak was cooked to my liking, but my wife's steak was a little over done. You order sides separately, so the sides I would recommend are Potatoes Au Gratin. These are not your normal PAG, these potatoes are cut like fries and they are topped with bacon and lots of truffle cheese.

Great steakhouse if you like a butter cooked steak much like Ruth Chris' steakhouse. Just ordered the cottage pies and a hot dog. Their hotdogs and steaks are great. Their cottage pie was one of the worst. Don't get me wrong, their ingredients are great. This dish was just incredibly lazy. Hamburger patties (full) burnt, covered with gravy, little veggies and a heaping amount of mashed potatoes.

Thanks Yelp for another recommendation and an easy reservation experience! We had such a blast celebrating our anniversary at this adorable steakhouse in El Dorado Hills town center near the movie theater! They've got indoor and outdoor seating, but if the weather's nice, I totally recommend sitting outside - it's just so cozy out there. We hit happy hour when we got there, so we got to grab some awesome deals. We decided to go for the porterhouse, shared it, and paired it with some light and refreshing drinks that perfectly complemented our meal! The service was top-notch too - we were totally taken care of the whole time.
