We stopped at C and T's for breakfast this morning while coming home from camping. We arrived around 10:30am and they were busy, but we were still seated immediately. The inside had that small town diner feel which I always like.Huge food portions! We ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, Pancake, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon plus a 2 Eggs plate with Hash-Browns and Bacon with a side of Biscuits and Gravy. All the food was pretty good, we really liked the bacon and pancake, but the potatoes were under seasoned and the biscuits were a bit hard for my taste. The downside was our server was very slow, she would disappear randomly and there were other tables that came in after us who got their food first. Also, when she brought the bill and then ran my card, the receipt that came out was $5 more. The taxes and service charge weren't added until my card was ran which I thought was odd and I was bit annoyed that it wasn't on my original bill. Plus, I was charged $1.50 for the Biscuits and Gravy and nowhere on their menu does it state that there is an extra charge. The menu lists toast or biscuits and gravy...would there have been an additional cost if I would have picked toast instead? The only reason I am not rating lower is because of the decent food, but this place should definitely put the additional price for biscuits and gravy and the full bill amount should be listed the first time. This all rubbed me the wrong way, so we probably won't be back.

Very friendly staff, great food, good prices. We came here before going to Apple Hill and had a really nice breakfast. The outdoor seating was well shaded, but not fancy. All in all, it was a solid choice to start our morning.

Your basic breakfast and lunch diner. This is a nice stop when you're on a long drive as it's adjacent to Highway 50 or convenient for locals as well.A very casual atmosphere we were pleasantly greeted and grabbed a seat. Our server efficiently, operated as hostess, waitress, server, bus person, and cashier for the entire restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and food was good. Efficient service even though we came in at the same time with three or four other parties. The menu is somewhat limited, but you'll get a quality meal regardless of what you do order. We would recommend the Charlie's Chips, their home made potato chips, that are an option with many of the lunch sandwiches.

Our old place on the way up to Tahoe changed formats, so we needed a new breakfast spot. We go up with a group of guys each year. So our focus was on hardcore savory stuff that would fill us up until dinner that night in the casinos.Chicken fried steak and eggs is the only thing I wanted. I'm a recovering Texan, and this is just about as legit a chicken fried steak as I've had. That dish has evolved in Texas to be so many different things..but if you walked into a diner in Dallas in 1977, this is what you would get. And it was perfect! Pounded thin, crispy batter, fork tenderized. And then biscuits and gravy as a no-charge side!? Oh, man. Biscuits were substantial. Not the flakiest, but perfectly good. And the country gravy, again, was as good as anything I've had down south. No corn-starch crap. Just drippings, milk, sausage, flour, salt and pepper....as best I can tell. It was perfect. This is the new stop for our annual trip up.

I wanted breakfast at a cafe, and my husband wanted a breakfast burrito. We found ourselves searching Yelp on a road trip and this place came up and delivered on both our wishes! We shared a bacon breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, and it was delicious. I don't know if it was the particular blend of cheeses, or because it was served wet-style, topped with salsa, sour cream and avocado, but it was so flavorful. One of the best breakfast burritos I've had. The size provided plenty of food for both my husband and I, which made the $16.99 breakfast price worth it.

I still have no idea what C & T stands for, but what I do know if a good deal when I see it. While on a early morning road trip to Tahoe with some friends we decided to stop at C & T a couple minutes after they just opened for breakfast. The staff seemed sleepy, but still greeted us with a smile. This place had an old timey country diner vibe. Cozy. Coming from the Bay Area, I am numb to the prices we have to pay for breakfast/brunch. So when we opened the menu and saw all the options on here for such a reasonable price I automatically knew I would love this place. We had a decent sized group with 7 people, but we ordered and got our food fairly quickly! I ordered the corn beef hash with eggs over-easy and hashbrowns. My girlfriend got the eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy. Portion size was more than enough and some of us had to get a to-go box for the rest. Everything hit the spot and the bill was only $15 per person. Would recommend coming here anytime!

Dropped in for breakfast on Saturday morning with my hubby, son and two grandkids. I picked C & T due to the great reviews. We arrived at 11 am and were seated right away. The food is mediocre but the service is wonderful. If I were to rate the restaurant on their service alone they would receive 5 stars. Our server was very attentive. She was able to serve us all at the same time. The hubby and son ordered the Corned Beef Hash breakfast which they both said was bland. I had eggs, hash browns and bacon. The hashbrowns were barely warm and bland. Really good bacon. Our older girl ordered a waffle that looked delicious. The little one wanted a pancake but we had to order the pancake that came with an egg. The egg wasn't touched. The pancake looked light and fluffy. I was disappointed not to see a Child's section on the menu although they offer a section for lighter appetites which is a bit much for a 5-year-old. Our bill came to $103 for 3 adults and 2 children PLUS, a charge of $3 plus change for using a debit card. Wow, never ran into that before.

Chile verde burrito was huge with lots of big pieces of pork. The burrito had great flavor. I got it to go and it came covered in chile verde sauce with sour cream and fresh guacamole on the side. It wasn't an avocado salsa, but freshly made guacamole. In addition, it came with a bag of chips and a huge 8oz (coffee cup) of fresh salsa. I will definitely be back!
