Buckhorn BBQ + Grill - Sacramento Land Park

I recently visited BuckHorn BBQ in landpark with a group of friends for lunch and I must say I had a great experience! First off the location is great, the Land Park shopping center is packed full of pretty much anything you need making it fairly easy to knockout multiple task while staying in the same parking lot. This Buckhorn location has a modern look with lots of natural lighting, space and was well maintained. Service wise, you order at the counter and take a number to your seat where you food is brought out. If you want to pair your meal with a libation, check out the bar complete with TV's so you wont miss the game! Our servers were very nice and helpful. We were in a group of 10 and our food came out relatively fast. The menu has tons of options and can be intimidating to the indecisive! Everything looks good. During my visit, I got the Totcho's! A remix on nacho's switched with Tater Tots, topped with Char-Roasted Tri Tip, Beer Cheese, Hibiscus Pickled Onions, Cilantro Avocado Crema, and topped with green onions. This was such a solid meal! flavor packed and a fulfilling portion. Give Buckhorn BBQ in Land Park a try! location + food make this a prime spot for a trip out!

Love it! Buckhorn BBQ + Grill in the South Land Park area is awesome. Conveniently located in a strip mall, plenty of parking, making it easy to pick up or dine in. If you're new to Buckhorn, the process is simple: you order and pay at the counter, then your food is brought to your table. The menu, displayed on the wall, offers a variety of options to satisfy any craving from burgers to platter's. My go-to favorite is the Steakhouse Burger, which I paired with crispy tater tots this time. We also tried the Pulled Pork Platter, which was hearty and so delicious. Both dishes were fulfilling and we were so stuffed. The environment is clean and inviting, with self-serve soda and condiments, including their amazing barbecue sauce. The staff were friendly and provided side suggestions which was a plus! There's even an open bar inside, and they offer happy hour deals, which I haven't checked out yet but definitely plan to.Overall, this spot is great with good food and a laid-back dining experience.

I want to start of by saying I have been grilling and smoking meats for decades. I have passed buy various Buckhorn places for years and never tried them.I had my mom out for a day of errands and we got hungry so we finally tried them.We decided on the first visit to try their burgers.One of their options was a burger with tri-tip on it i believe, but we asked if we could do pulled pork instead. This was absolutely delicious! I love their sauces and the burgers are served on brioche buns. For sides we had onion rings, sweet potato fries and roasted vegetables, all of which were delicious. Some places the onion rings come out greasy but not these.My wife and I have been back 3 more times, trying there platters which we share and often have leftovers. Everything we order is great.For the holidays we bought several of their gift cards to give to family and friends.

This Buckhorn was really nice! I've only been to one other location and I don't remember it looking like this. Plenty of parking as it's in a Raleys parking lot with several other eateries and stores surrounding it. Ordering was easy, you order at the counter so no table service. They also have a full bar which is nice. I got the meat platter and my wife got the blue cheese burger. My platter was a little light on portions in my opinion and my fries were a little burnt. My wife's burger though was a decent size and she really enjoyed it, she did say she wishes it had more blue cheese crumbles though. Overall we enjoyed our food and the vibe so we will for sure return.

Came here for lunch on a whim; ordered a steakhouse burger with fried onions, Swiss and sweet bbq sauce. Had to compress the burger about 2 inches to eat it properly! Decent burger, should've requested med rare; my medium looked to be cooked to 145. Apple slaw was good (wish the apple was bigger tho). Server was ok; didn't supply enough napkins for the burger, nor did I get a fork for my slaw. Spacious, clean eating area with clean restrooms. Tri tip sandos and tacos were new items to the menu; may give it a shot the next time I'm nearby.

Whenever I'm in Sacramento, this is one of my go-to stops. I especially love the tri-tip and the salads, but honestly everything is tasty. This is a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter. The last time I went we get the largest family feast and it was so much food! Highly recommend!

Buckhorn seems to have upgraded big time and I just never realized. This one is spacious, clean and has a really nice bar inside. I don't remember any locations I've visited previously having a bar. Located in the Raleys shopping center, there is ample parking but it always seems busy and full. Service was ok, it was a tad slow to get our food but they were cranking out lots of to-go and curbside orders so I understand. My husband opted for the 2 meat platter with pulled pork, smoked sausage and garlic mash and sweet potato fries for his side. I got the blue burger with no pink. My burger was big and juicy and delicious. I do wish they added more blue cheese to it, as the red sauce kinda overpowered the tanginess I was wanting from the blue cheese crumbles. The 2 meat platter seemed like a rip off tho. It was a small portion of pulled pork and for $27 just wasn't worth it. The garlic mashed potatoes were bomb and the sweet potato fries were a little too burnt for our liking. I also don't like they don't have napkins sitting out. Just seems odd a bbq place wouldn't have plenty of napkins sitting out for convenience. Overall it's not too bad, the burger was the highlight for sure. Definitely skipping the 2 meat platter next time.

Was surprised to find this location as I thought most of them close down at least in my area in the 209.Great location, good clean food and there's a bar that that's a plus which I've never seen in them. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice clean lunch.

I thought I had found a new place for lunch while in town for work trips. Today my second trip in my beverage was served to the wrong table where I watched them taste my drink. The error was noticed and my drink retrieved and they served me a drink someone already drank out of. If they can't get you a new one after another guest drank out of your drink I can only imagine what other unsanitary acts take place here. I won't be back.

The cuisine was fine & should be experienced. The employees are pleasant & provided decent service
