I love how you don't talk but you should open up more if you want this relationship to work out .

Great place to come and roll and receive excellent instruction from various different black belts and high level color belts. EVERY SINGLE person I've interacted with here is insightful and friendly, except for Boston, (just kidding), and willing to help you improve your game. No egos, just fun and helpful guys that know a lot.

Excellent place to come for open mat on Saturdays. The instructors are friendly and are down to show you technique, unlike most other BJJ gyms. Love the fact that everyone is willing to show you technique on top of actually rolling. Being that am currently a white belt looking for some more open mat time, definitely will be back and could look to learn a lot for some upper levels.

Ryan Rich is amazing! Our 13 yr old daughter just started private lessons 3x/wk. He is so patient and calm and gives her his undivided attention. I can't wait to see her progress. Rich gave us a detailed 10-week plan. He records every session and posts it to our private inbox.

I was visiting Sacramento for a week. Stopped in 3 times. No problems, place is clean and there are several upper belts in the adult class.

Special needs friendly. Sensei Mario, and Ryan, really go out of their way to make my son feel a part of. Him being high functioning on the Spectrum does create difficulties for him however they're able to redirect him and keep him focused and he's really learning a lot in the five months that he's been going to Bruddas. I'm really happy that I chose them over any other martial arts place. And the cost is extremely reasonable.

A ton of experience on the mats, friendly helpful people and no egos. Black belts that have been training for a decade or more are always happy to help out even the newest white belt. Whether you've never trained at all or have been training for years, Bruddas is a great place to learn, have fun and roll. Mario is an amazing teacher and a great person, and his positive attitude has clearly rubbed off on his other instructors and his students. Canyon and Ryan also teach classes on a regular basis and while they each have their unique styles, you can definitely see Mario's influence on their teaching methods and techniques. There are also about 9 or 10 other black belts that train there if you need a question answered. The name Bruddas is appropriate because they really do make you feel like family.
