Nice staff all around. A bunch of parking available. Came here for breakfast, they're famous for their fried chicken steak. It's made out of beef if you're wondering.

Under new management....... Haven't been here in years, so we came back. The service was terrible. Just atrocious. They took orders after ours that were served before us. Then when we asked about our food, we were spoken to rudely, and when our food finally came we were rudely told "Here's your food!". By that time all three of us had lost our appetite. Some people just aren't meant to be in customer service. All of the service staff needs some intense customer service training.

Food is always good here. Breakfast lunch dinner n freshly baked desserts! Fresh squeezed juices! Prices very practical! Love that. Service is always friendly n nice from minute you walk in with the hostess. It's always clean too!

We stopped in for a drink while we waited for test results for our pup who was across the street at VCA Vet Hospital. We needed a place to chill for about an hour. The small bar had quite a few customers, but we found two empty seats. We were immediately greeted by the bartender, who was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine. The wine was good and reasonably priced (reverse sticker shock here). Definitely a neighborhood bar feel, with bartenders who are happy to engage in a bit of small talk. We will definitely come back for happy hour, a meal and some live music.

This place is across the street from the library so my husband and I dropped in for happy hour. They don't have a drink menu OR a happy hour menu. We ordered a couple vodka tonics and I had one with blood orange vodka. The waiter (we sat in the bar area, not at the actual bar) did tell me the blood orange vodka was not on HH and I appreciate when they do that. I couldn't taste the blood orange so on round 2, I got the regular vodka. We ordered taquitos and beef nachos which were half orders on HH and both were good. Crispy taquitos with a salsa that was a bit spicy. The service was okay, we did have to walk up to the bar for round 2 but overall it was an easy experience. Would probably go back for some HH vodka tonics if I wanted a quick drink.

I like this spot. It was my 1st time going (Sat 4/27), and I enjoyed myself. Drinks are pretty good, and the food is decent as well. There were a few minor hiccups in the beginning, but Dustin (bartender/server) was on top of everything. They had a live band going on outside, which was cool, and Tanya (server/bartender) is super lit. I definitely loved her energy. I'll for surely be returning. I hear they have a lot of great events coming up over the next couple weeks, I have to get back on my Facebook so I can follow them and see what they're cooking up for the upcoming weeks. I definitely recommend everyone check them out. It's a good environment to have team building for work, or if friends just want to hang out.

Had a great time at Brookside Restaurant! My mom and dog Goldie sat on the beautiful patio. Such a gorgeous lil spot. They had an amazing waitress that we just loved named Melissa! She was super sweet to us and service was great! Melissa shared with us that the have live music on Friday so I think we will check that out tomorrow. The Calamari was so good and loved the homeade cocktail sauce and homeade ranch. Loved it! We will be back again soon!!!! Great vibes! Barrett, Lynn and Goldie the pup

Our server, Melissa, was exceptional. She went out of her way to make sure our seating and food were great. She did not disappoint! She made our drinks herself and re-seated us away from a loud band which we were grateful for. Everything was exceptional. We have eaten at Brookside about 3-4 times now, and she recognizes us every time. Makes us feel special. I cannot imagine how they could run this place without her. She's everywhere, monitoring happiness. :) Had the Taco appetizers and the Prime Rib with a salad. Delicious! I can envision becoming "regulars" at this place. Would definitely return.

It's a nice clean place /friendly staff /good food food and prices are very reasonable..great grounds for a wedding or special occasion

Came here for my first time and ate on their patio section. What a beautiful view of a rose garden and their newly remodeled patio from what the waitress told me. From the service and great food this place is a must. Everybody was very welcoming, polite and attentive. Ashley The bartender made amazing drinks. And Melissa made sure that me and my wife had everything we need and was super funny. Definitely coming back for their live music on Friday. Glad we came into this place. Definitely give it a try.
