We called ahead and asked how much time it would be for a party of 8 they said 20 min and they asked for my name. I arrived and the lady said that I wasn't in the waiting list and she had an attitude and waited 30-40 min for a table and finally we had our table we got our drink they took some time to take our order and our food came fast I don't know if it was the manager but someone came to our table and apologized for the wait and our milkshakes were on the house the food was good but they need to work on their service.

Went with my dad and he loves this place. They are friendly and the service is fantastic. Food is good quality and I was very pleased with the cut of meat I ordered as a steak.

I have always had great meals here, exceptional customer service. Today was different.I ordered the tuna melt....the tuna was excellent. Parmesan bread was toasted and good. Cheese was not melted, bacon was thick but probably not fresh or prepared ahead of time, also not hot. Onion rings were cold.

We came here on a whim to have some lunch after visiting the Children's Museum. I would describe Brookfields as an updated diner such as Black Bear Diner - lots of comfort foods and family friendly and BJ's - due to their large & varietal menu options.I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs which was extremely delicious, even as leftovers at home warmed up in the air fryer! I had high hopes for their biscuits based on several reviews. It unfortunately fell short and was alright; I can confirm they weren't dry! Potatoes cooked through yet lacking seasoning and eggs were your typical scrambled eggs. My husband got the Shrimp Benedict. Sadly, the shrimp seemed more like small frozen shrimp that were thawed and thrown in near the end. He said he would've loved if the shrimp were fresh & pan fried. It did come with bacon so he's happy he got some appetizing protein due to the let down of the shrimp. He did try their Ghirardelli Chocolate Mocha (chocolate lover) and highly recommends that. Overall, our experience was good. Could have been better but I won't knock them until I try them once more as a lot of their other meals look very delicious.

Stopped by on a Sunday during the post-church rush and was surprised to be seated in about 15 minutes (party of two). My server was personable and attentive. I went with the chorizo scramble and biscuits with gravy. The flavor was solid, but the gravy was a bit disappointing; cold and clumpy. The chorizo scramble was filling, but honestly, their chicken fried steak is still my favorite. Definitely sticking to that next time! What made this visit different from the rest was that we weren't rushed out after eating. Ended up hanging out for over 2 hours, server kept topping off our coffee, just sipping and relaxing. Gotta love the neighborhood vibe here!

I ordered 2 - 3 Piece Fish and Chips dinners a d 1 Berry pie through DoorDash. I requested utencils, and tarter sauce. They came with no condiments of any kind and no utencils. The fish was good, batter was light and flaky, portions/fillet sizes were perfect. Chips serving was reasonable, cooked just right with good flavor. Coleslaw was dry and flavorless.Personal size Berry "pie" for $5.74 was actually a pie tin half filled with berry pie filling with a crust top. no side or bottom crust, not a "pie".Been eating there for decades. Usually very happy with food, service, including takeout/togo orders. This was dissapointing.

I think this place is better than most diners. They have various vegetarian options.I got the Huevos rancheros - they were just okay...nothing to rave about. Kinda soggy, I'd like some crunch.However...the orange juice is godly! Freshly squeezed....pulpy....sweet and yummy! I could down like 4 of these bad boys. I would come here for their coffees and OJ alone. Old fashioned diner interior and great service overall. Nice and friendly folk.

Saturday, 9/28/2024 - Finally got my partner to come eat breakfast here with me for the 1st time. Address is 11135 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. I've been trying to get my SO to come for years now! Lol. They are right at the corner of Sunrise and Folsom Blvd. If you go early for breakfast, there is a farmers market happening across the street too. Anyways, upon arrival...Pros1) lots of parking2) the hostess was very friendly and professional. 3) it didn't take long to get us all seated. 4) tables, cups, utensils, plates, bowls were all clean. 5) water tasted good. No funky taste. 6) fresh squeeze orange juice was delicious!!! You can definitely tell it's fresh squeeze. I'd get this again. 7) we all loved our breakfast dishes. They were all good. 8) bathroom was cleaned. 9) our server was very nice & professional. 10) Cons1) took a bit to get our tab. But eventually we got it. Conclusion No issue. Great place to have breakfast. Easy parking. No fee to park. Nice staffs. Clean restaurant. Good foods. A little farmers market across the street you can check out. I'd go here again

My first time going to Brookfield's was yesterday. I've seen it a bunch of times and finally committed to giving it a try. My wife and I got there later in the evening, and it was pretty quiet at that point. I liked the way it looked on the inside. Pretty relaxing feel and lit nicely. Our waitress was nice and friendly. Even though there were a few issues with the service (minor: dirty silverware, water versus apple juice for my daughter), I wouldn't consider this a big enough issue to say the service was bad.The food however... I was not a fan of any of it. We ordered a Grande Burrito, Garlic Fries, Nachos, and 2 desserts (apple pie and shortcake). To be really honest, there was ZERO flavor to everything. The burrito was bland, the nachos were bland, and the garlic fries were only good because of the heaps of garlic, not because of the fries. I used their seasoned salt on everything along with salt and pepper to try and spice it up a bit, but there was no solving that problem in my opinion. The desserts were "okay". I was hoping more for a apple cobbler style dessert but it wasn't, and the shortcake was decent. I'd have to say it was the best thing I had out of the rest of the items we purchased. Actually... the water was really good. I'm not trying to be funny, but it was. I feel like it was the only thing that tasted the way it was supposed to.I don't get how people enjoy food that tastes like nothing. Might as well eat lettuce because it'll almost taste the same as anything else on that menu.I personally wouldn't go back, but I'm glad I had the experience because it's been one of those places I've wanted to try. The service was good, so I'm thankful that wasn't a bad experience.Overall... I was hungry and ate most the food because I don't like to waste, but I didn't see the point in bringing anything back home because I knew we wouldn't eat it again. If you're looking for a place that provides a list of options to choose from... choose Brookfields. If you're looking for a place that has a list of options with food that tastes good... choose somewhere else.
