Guinness on-tap has been my favorite beer for decades. And I didn't think it was possible, but Boring Rose micro brewery has a dark that is easily just as good -- amazing. I also don't drink lighter-colored beers since they are too close to water, but this brewery also has very fresh-tasting beers as well. With my two pints I also had their pepperoni pizza which was a perfect match for their beers.I will definitely be back next time I visit the Sacramento area.

On our way to Sacramento from Tahoe and hungry for lunch...Started out with the onion dip... creamy goodness paired with chips, I couldn't stop eating it!We chose the lemon chicken pizza because it was not something we would normally get... and the lemon ended up being a bit much, but all the other flavors worked well!Beers were good and there are plenty of them!Ambiance is strip mall greenhouse, service was friendly and helpful, and prices were in line with expectation. This joint makes the list!

This new brewery certainly has curb-appeal. Their dog-friendly patio faces the water feature of this very attractive shopping center in the El Dorado Hills. The tasteful, comfy, modern seating outside looks like an oasis for the thirsty seeking a cooling draught. After a dayhike in the Sierra, a friend and I aimed to come here to try out their brews. While there seem to lean towards the lighter IPA-end of the spectrum, I was glad to see they had a stout and a pub ale on tap. Summer is not yet over in the Sacramento Valley, so I wasn't ready to slide stout down my throat. However, they had what was a new selection for them on the menu: the Banbury Cross. The description promised warm maltiness. I'm a fan of the style. but unfortunately don't see it offered all that often. My goodness, but it was a winner choice. It was quite delicious, refreshing, and oh! so satisfying to quaff. I hate to say that we didn't linger long. We were also hungry and had a reservation for dinner that we were antsy to go to. I look forward to returning and trying more of their beers. Hopefully, as the weather cools, there'll be a rebalancing of the menu board and more robust styles like porters and red ales will make an appearance.

I've been here a number of times and if there is one defining theme behind this place is that everyone that works here is very friendly and nice. The beer here is excellent. I finally tried their pizza and it's good but nothing special. However, the people, beer and atmosphere at this place worth the trip.

The hubster and I came to Town Center today to walk our pups and then we remembered Boring Rose Brewing was here. Don't let the name fool you it is anything but boring! The interior is light and bright with plenty of seating and their patio area is lovely and well-behaved pups are welcome. Staff is super friendly, everything was nice and clean. The beer, hard cider, and charcuterie board were fantastic. Everything made for a wonderful Saturday unboxing and Rosey afteroon. Go and get your brew on!

So happy that there is family owned brewery/tasting room AND small plant shop located here in El Dorado Hills Town Center. It is dangerous for me though; give me some beer and I'll come home with a jungle of plants!I have been here twice thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. I'm indecisive but I do love my IPA's so both times I ordered a flight of four (mostly IPA's) as well as a pretzel during my first visit. The staff are all so sweet and nice and will help give recommendations if needed. They are knowledgable about both the beer and plants! My pretzel was alright and I plan to try one of their paninis next time. I'm mostly here for the beer versus the food anyway :)The tasting room itself is spacious with seats at the counter, tables (indoors and outdoors), and booths. The tables outdoors have heat lamps during the colder weather as well. Everything is very clean including the bathrooms. They were stroller friendly for my baby who in 21 years will hopefully be joining me for beer :) They are also dog friendly outdoor on the patio. While I've only come on the weekends, it seems like they hold quite a couple of fun events over the weekdays including BINGO and trivia night and often have live music as well! I'm definitely planning to come back for some of their fun events and more good beer (oh and some lively indoor plants too)!

We were finally able to stop in try some brew here. So this cool spot was more than we expected! Inside was very spacious with a variety of seating areas decorated with beautiful live plants. I've learned that these plants are grown by the owners and available for sale! Yes we did go home with two beautiful plants! So back to the brew.. we had a flight of beers and tried the Mojito hard seltzer and they did not disappoint! We sat out on the patio which can accommodate a LOT of patrons!! They do serve food here as well. Great hospitality by staff who gave us a tour of the indoor plant nursery and a background on owners and origination of this cool gem! Cheers!

Absolutely loved this place! Super fun and funky decor. Very warm and inviting. The staff was pleasant and they had a lot of options. The back patio was nice cuz it backed up against the water and was relaxing. the pretzel was delicious! Definitely will be going back!
