Boeger Winery

After having a good time at nearby Smokey Ridge Ranch, my wife and our friends decided to continue the good times at nearby Boeger Winery. After parking our cars, we were greeted by the sweet tunes of a musician doing a cover of a popular song. As we walked into the indoor entrance, we were warmly greeted by an employee. She quickly provided us with menus and we decided to opt for two bottles of their 2023 Sauvignon blanc and a charcuterie board. The very attentive employee noticed that the board had everything but crackers, so she swiftly retrieved a bag of crackers from a back room.As we made our way to the outdoor area, we were enamored by the big trees that pretty much created shade over the entire backyard (this was such a blessing on what was a very hot October afternoon). After finding a table that was in the shade and allowed for us to see the musician, we cracked open our first bottle. As we got lost in engaging conversation with the live music as the perfect backdrop, we enjoyed the refreshing taste of the Sauvignon blanc which paired well with the offerings on the charcuterie board. Every now and then and employee would stop by our table to check in with us and see if we needed anything.Boeger Winery provided the perfect ambiance for us to connect, conclude our weekend, and be relaxed as we prepared for the upcoming work week. Before the cold weather rolls in, I would to return with a large group so that we can experience some of their other wine options. Thank you Boeger Winery!

Glad to be back for a relaxing visit with wine and relaxing under the trees at the pond. Ooo! And there is a fairy door in the tree! Wines are ok and you can find them often on restaurant wine lists.

We used to love this place. We were wine club members and it was awesome. I noticed once they hired a new gal she was not only rude to my parents but to me as well on different occasions. I bought a bottle of my favorite wine for my birthday and it was so rancid we couldn't drink it. When we went the next time that same gal said well that happens and walked away. The customer service went down hill. The wine is good but customer service is everything to me. We stopped our membership. I've heard about the bad customer service over the last year from others. I hope they can reconcile this issue for the future.

Always my go to place for a bottle of delicious vino... Staff is outstanding and the grounds are relaxing and the pond is so relaxing. Today it was a perfect day to relax and have a glass of rosé....

I recently visited this charming winery that offered a delightful experience. The views were breathtaking, with lush vineyards stretching as far as the eye could see, creating a perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. The outdoor seating was cozy and inviting, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the serene atmosphere. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. This winery is a hidden gem that's perfect for anyone looking to enjoy quality wine in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We had kids with us so we didn't do the tasting but we did buy a wine bottle and some cheese and crackers and sat outside at the bench. The kids played corn hole while and the weather was great.

We came in on Nevada Day and were given free wine tasting with our Nevada ID. Normally, the wine tasting is $15.00 per person and you can try 6 of their wines. While the husband is a fan of reds, I drink white wines. We had great conversation with our wine taster and took 3 bottles home. Best of all they also have a variety of charcuterie boards from another local store and crackers to purchase after your tasting! We bought a charcuterie board and crackers and sat on their property which has a lot of picnic tables on the grass. What a way to enjoy the nice October day. Also, this winery is dog friendly which is one of the reasons we enjoy visiting here when we are in the area.

Great products theWine is tremendous! We joined the Winery Club and will get several bottles over the coming year. Served tasting in cellar were wine was made! Rep was very friendly and displayed the wine and history of the place!

I love this place! Highly recommended stopping here on your trip to Apple Hill. I paid $20 for 6 or 7 tastings, a tour around the property and to stomp some grape! Such a lovely experience

We had gone to Placerville to just spend time going into the cute shops in the old town. Decided to try this winery right outside of town. We had a wonderful experience. Most of the wines were absolutely delicious. They were pouring 12 different wines and you choose 6 to taste. They had some little bonus wines they threw in as well. Our servers Melissa and Wade made the whole experience exceptional. Wade poured most of our wines. He was very knowledgeable and chatted with us like we good friends. We ended up buying 8 bottles of wine and will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area.

Hubby and I were on our way to Tahoe for a romantic weekend vacation and realized we forgot to pack wine! Found Boeger Wines and found something special! The grounds are GORGEOUS!!! A lot of rich history! $15 for 6 heavy pours of their available, and if you have the right server you may get a bonus pour of their favorite! Only intended to buy one bottle of wine, but couldn't decide on which one we liked best...
