Blue Barn Provisions

My wife was looking for a place to each brunch before tackling Apple Hill this year and she found Blue Barn Provisions. Boy am I glad she found this place. We must have drove past here every year and never really thought of stopping to see what offerings they had. We usually just eat at one of the farms at Apple Hill.We ordered the Smoked Brisket on Ciabatta Sandwich (good, but the brisket could be more smoky and needed a stronger tasting BBQ sauce), BLT Sandwich, Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich, Kitchen Sink Brunch and the Apple Pie French Toast. Everything was tasty overall. They also had various beer on tap as well as some wines. They have some grab and go items and charcuterie board if you opt to just get that from their refrigerators. They have some pickled items and jams, etc for purchase as well. They have seating inside as well as outside. Today, it was a very hot day due to a heat wave, so we opted to sit inside. Aside from their tasty food, their service was exceptional! Everyone was super friendly and I can't remember the last time I ate at a place where we got asked how everything was by just about every member of the staff here. We were here about an hour and were asked how everything was at least 5-6 times. I think we will have to make this an annual stop when we come to Apple Hill and will probably stop here when we go to or come back from South Lake Tahoe (right off of Hwy 50 on Carson Ct).

Came here for a wellness event with a large group of people. The atmosphere is really nice. Plenty of seating and I bet it looks really nice with the string lights on. Food: brisket sandwich was the best out of our party's options. definitely recommend. The shrimp salad someone else had also looked good and had a generous portion of large shrimp. The tacos were disappointing- the tortilla was super cold and seemed like they didn't heat it up. Also, the actual filling was a little stingy. The charcuterie was pretty bare too for the price but it was a good combination of flavors The Oktoberfest beer they had was delicious and they had a good variety of drinks so everyone in our party could get what they wanted. One thing I would definitely make sure to get is their apple fritter! So good.

Maybe they need to update the hours? Was very excited to try this place and a sign on Saturday just said "We are closed"

The location is nice and the space is decorated with its customers in mind on the way they have the seating arraigned. Plus the botchy ball area is well kept and a great way to spend a summer night.The staff is welcoming and helpful. There is a small store shop inside for last minute items on your way to the lake. The Apple pie French toast has the perfect consistency with being moist but not runny. This was a delicious breakfast option with a side of fresh fruit. The Bacon and egg sando tasted great on ciabatta bread.

This place is so cute! Food was divine and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Loved this place! My family and I took a spontaneous trip to Apple Hill over the weekend and decided to stop in for a quick lunch before heading home.They have lots of premade food options as well as food you can order - we ordered the Spicy Prawn Salad and grabbed the premade Charcuterie Board to share as well. Both options were great! We also tried the Drunken Cherry Cheesecake that was so good! Great beer and non-alcoholic beverages available - free water station! Free dog treats for your fur babies!Staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations and checked on us multiple times! There were plenty of seating inside as well as outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the view with lots of flowers, butterflies and even a couple of Roosters!They offer dinners in their barn which I would love to check out one of these times!Check them out - we will be stopping by again next time we are in the area!

A new favorite. We drove past Blue Barn Provisions on the way to Tahoe and added it to the list of places to try on the way back. I'm so glad we did! The yellow umbrella's caught our attention driving past on the highway. We're from Sonoma County so we won't be able to come often, but definitely going to make a point to stop here on the way to AND from Tahoe during our annual vacation :) The people that worked here were very kind, the food was so good, and dog friendly (a must in our book). Beautiful seating inside and out, also!

Super conveniently located for a visit to High Hill Ranch. Food is tasty, but not consistent. Three of us ordered the same thing (turkey brie on country bread with peach jam) and each of us had a different kind of bread which resulted in variation in size too. The toppings on mine were delicious, and I loved the melty brie, but it was between two slices of baguette approximately the size of bruschetta. After the first sandwich came, on ciabatta, we were told that they were out of the ciabatta (not country bread?) but not given a choice for replacement or warned that the other bread was smaller. Everyone liked their food, though! We also ordered the brisket mac and cheese and BLT.

Blue barn had a great atmosphere, tasty beer and delicious food! We stopped here after a day at Apple Hill and were one of 3 other groups here. We got our drinks and found a nice spot to sit outside by the bocce ball court as more and more people stopped by. All the employees were friendly including the two roosters outside! lol!Will be back!!

Great little spot with good wine, good food.... Panini sandwhiches and salad. Didn't try the charcuterie. Wine choices were very pleasant given that I'm not typically a fan of the wines from this region. Great part is also that the venue is very dog friendly. My boys were treated like family and were greeted by many employees. Definitely going to go back when in the area again.
