I am incredibly grateful for our Bliss Family. My daughter has found her passion for dance, and it is truly inspiring to see her confidence blossom. Bliss does not just teach incredible hip-hop moves; they cultivate a dancer's mindset. The lessons encompass grit, teamwork, taking care of yourself, stage presence, and so much more! My daughter eagerly anticipates every moment spent with her team and is having an absolute blast. I can confidently say that this is the most vibrant and meaningful community we have ever been a part of. Thank you, Bliss, Fae, directors, choreographers and volunteers for everything you do!

This place is great. I have the rhythm of a deaf dung beetle. But for some reason my daughter got the right genes to follow a beat. She's actually a decent dancer. My wife and I signed her up and she loved the hip hop dance classes. The teachers are really good with kids. They learn a routine over multiple weeks and get to perform on a stage for friends, family and parents. It's so cute to see and teaches them the confidence to perform.

I went back and forth for a while about posting this. I think the business had potential but I was turned away when I physically visited and had the door closed in my face. Also my kids were not acknowledged by the choreographer in the small room during an audit type impromptu last minute watching session because we were told to come by Lex and then the next week Fae said we shouldn't have came. My email was in answered for a week and my text was not answered until I physically showed up, interrupted the owner as she was breezing past me and my children and explained why I was there and how I came the week before. So physically showing up, emailing, and texting doesn't work. I'm really protective of my children's feelings and the choreographer didn't recognize my children in a small room with about 12 chairs along the back and 2 choreographers and 4 children. They all introduced themselves and my kids weren't apart of the energy. I think it seems like a good place with good people but the lack luster business practices and lack of customer service severely turn us off. My 6 year old is mildly traumatized from it because when I went on 5/27/24 I was told by someone who introduced themselves as "lex" told me to come 6/3/24 then when I arrived I was told that age group is on week 6 of 8 and my children would be behind but we can watch the kids in the back in the small room. I should have left then and there but I brought the them back to an unfamiliar place and we were not escorted nor introduced nor did we receive any kind of tour and the owner walked pass me and my children and I had to stop her to talk to her asking "if she was fae". Fae seems sweet and the facility looks nice but for those reasons/ infractions I can not see how I can bring my kids back or support a local business I seen in Vacaville magazine. I was treated very rudely for no reason and several bad decisions were made by the owner. She said "lex didn't know what she was doing, and I was gone for the holiday". Well the studio was open on the holiday and I waltz right in, only to be turned away, handed a business card (she slightly withdrew it when I said I seen the website), and have the door slammed in my face when I walked outside. Why would you have somebody "that doesn't know what they're doing" in charge of the studio and slamming doors in potential new customers faces? Additionally Fae was not told by Lex that I visited, because she didn't take any of my information and no one followed up. My email and text were only answered that following week when I physically visited again, against my good conscience and giving the benefit of the doubt, only to be let down again by poor customer service. I gave 2 stars because I called and spoke to Fae after we left and she seemed like she was trying to fix things and admitted fault in some places like she should've walked us back to the small room.In re:I had it as a 2 star but after that super passive aggressive stance to a customer that did nothing wrong besides try to give you business, I have to reduce it to a 1 star. Explaining the situation publicly and going back and forth only shows your true colors and I'm elated we avoided doing business with someone like you. Thank you for the references, they were all contacted and responded professionally and even gave us that "grand tour" that I was expecting. Have a good one Fae. Here goes some references of google terms you should look up and understand. How to deal with customers. The customer is always right.Be proactive instead of reactive.Don't mention my children anymore. And thank you for deleting whatever information you have and our interaction with each other. Peace be with you.Subsequent edit:Fae, it's surprising and alarming to me that you as the business owner decided to publicly go back and forth with a potential customer rather than call them privately and handle the situation professionally. The your comment was extremely petty. Anyone who had an indifferent opinion could see that. I may have directly misquoted what you said about Lex, but the fact is that she gave me the wrong information, and you brought that to my attention, meaning she was lacking in that department as you mentioned, amazing company director but doesn't know how to tell new people when to come in correctly. A small tour would've sufficed, I don't know how that's too much to ask when a parent comes in with 3 children 6yrs and under, I think a small 30-60 tour is in order. Excuse the adjective I used, merely conjecture but instead of the door was slammed in my face, more specifically, after I was rushed out because of company rehearsal, I was tying my shoe on the steps and the door was shut as I looked up at it to ask Lex another question. The door was open prior to my arrival, hence why I entered. But hey I was wrong in coming back after that experience. Question, did Lex mention to you that a potential customer visited?

BLISS! BLISS! BLISS! Hands down the BEST studio in Norcal. Whether you or a child are interested in dancing for fun or dream of becoming a professional dancer/artist. This is the studio for you. I've never been to a studio that treats everyone (including children) as professionals and educates them on how to be professional. This studio teaches life long lessons, discipline, & hard work to everyone. I have witnessed the greatness firsthand that this studio creates. I had the honor of being apart of their 20th annual showcase, have taken Zumba classes, have taken drop in classes on Mondays, and have trained/learned from their instructors/educators. no studio compares to the community, art, professionalism, fun, and talent that comes out of this studio. This is truly a space where magic happens. Highly recommend.

I don't believe this "Austin H" has a clear picture and understanding of how dance studios function. I hope he has a better understanding now of what Fae has mentioned to him. But if he doesn't accept any of the comments and information that Fae provided, then for sure go look at the other local dance companies. As for other readers seeing this comment, I would like to express that this dance company has great directors and kids really enjoy the bonding w/ all their peers. I would know because my family has been w/ Fae's company since 2013. Keep up the hard work Fae and great comments on responding to those disgruntled individuals!

Without a doubt the BEST place for your kids take dance class. Not only do they learn dance steps, but Fae and staff teach discipline and respect while still creating a fun environment for children and teenagers to express themselves.

This place seems very interesting however the customer service could most definitely use some improvements. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Not sure what her issue is but she HAS to do better. If I could leave a .5 star review, I would. Do not waste your time or money here, you will not be satisfied.

I love having dance classes at Bliss Urban Arts Center. They are always loving and caring. Especially Ariel Krystyne. She helped me dance through the pandemic.
