BJ Cinnamon

This is THE place for cinnamon rolls and donuts!I've been going there for years and it's always been top-notch. I think their entire family works there and they are all very nice and patient with customers. This place would be dangerous if I lived closer because I would be there every single day!It doesn't matter what you get, it's ALL so, so good!!!

This place is super busy! Line moved very quickly though & they still had a lot of donut options out. They were also making donuts for people per their requirements (special sprinkles and ect). So they were super friendly and had great customer service!Inside is small with a few tables so you could enjoy your treats and drinks after if you'd like. Donuts are decent, nothing too special.

BJ Cinnamon is clearly a fan favorite in Folsom, and it's easy to see why. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after a hike and treated ourselves to two of their famous cinnamon rolls. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was charmingly nostalgic, just like a classic donut shop should be.I opted for the original cinnamon roll with frosting, while my boyfriend went for the pecan version. The dough was perfectly chewy, and the frosting struck just the right balance--not overly sweet, which I loved. As someone who's enjoyed incredible cinnamon rolls before (shoutout to Old West Cinnamon Rolls in Pismo Beach), I'd say these are a close second. The pecan roll was a touch sweeter, thanks to the candied pecans, but still just as delightful.I can definitely see why BJ Cinnamon has such a loyal following. I'll be back to explore more of their donut selection soon!

One of my sisters was visiting and spent the night at one of our other sisters home and decided to get donuts instead of Noah's bagels for breakfast the next morning. She also uses YELP and found BJ Cinnamon. I mentioned how both our eldest sister and I each have our own favorite donut shops at Folsom and Cameron Park so would be fun to try a new place together. Was a bit of a drive for us however we were able to shop at Trader Joe's nearby as well for groceries before arriving at BJs cinnamon.Once we drove into the parking lot I realized I have driven past this donut shop before just never bothered to enter because we always went to our favorite one just down the street from here. The selection is amazing here and ample. We were greeted in friendly welcome manner. We arrived about 8:30 a.m so not one of the early ones but grateful for the selection of choices left. We were up to 8 donuts so the lady helping us suggested we get one dozen since we were just 4 short from a dozen. She also was kind and placed 6 donut holes in the box for us. Donuts taste is overall yummy and good however not the best I've ever had and I'll continue with my favorite Donut shop just across from the Target shopping center. Parking is ample right out front and also nearby at the lot next door as needed. Plenty of tables and seating as well and there were a number of guests seated enjoying their treats. As we are taking care of the payment for the donuts the lady looks at us and says out loud while looking at me how I must be the mother and my sister my daughter since we look alike! LOL!!!!I was beyond shocked and speechless! My sister says how we are sisters and so the lady says how she could tell we are family since we look alike. I then in shock asked her in a calm manner if I look old enough to be her mother and she says how we look like family but how we must then have different mothers....My sister then says how we have the same mother and father. We both tell her how I look more like our dad and how my sister looks more like our mom. I'm just 2 years older than my sister and most times people we meet for the first time who doesn't know us thinks I'm the younger sister only because I'm much shorter. Never in our 57-59 years together could we have ever imagined anyone referring us as mother and daughter! I shared this story with the same comic with our family later when we got home and everyone had a great hearty laugh and I said the next time we return here I should refer to my sister as "Mom" and call her mom for the fun of it! So Thank You for the laughter and the comic remark!

BJ Cinnamon is such a reliable spot for delicious donuts and cinnamon rolls. The owner and the rest of the staff are so nice and they make fresh donuts throughout the day so even if you stop by later in the day they have a great variety of fresh options.My personal favorites are the cake donuts, the cinnamon rolls and one of their drinks to go along with it. The cinnamon rolls are fresh and they add extra frosting before sending them home with you.My favorite drinks to order are the Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai tea. They also have other coffee options and milk and juice available, depending on what you like to pair with your donuts.I love that they always have a variety of donuts, including some options with fresh fruit, bacon and different fillings.They also offer breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs and a few other savory options. There is plenty of parking available between their parking lot and the one right next door, so it's always easy to stop by for a quick treat. They also have tables inside if you want to enjoy the donuts as soon as you get them.

Finally planned a trip to this famous shop and it was worth it. The place filled up really fast so get here early. Our serverSort of struggled with our order putting back things I had asked for and making a peppermint latte despite being told multiple times peppermint mocha. Not sure what the issue was but she was nice lol.We tried a lot of things since the place is so faraway. The BLT has a crazy amount of bacon and the donuts are light fresh and delicious. BJ Cinnamon is a landmark for a reason and that reason is delicious donuts.

I've been wanting to try BJ Cinnamon for awhile, and it was so good! The cinnamon roll was soft and chewy, sweet but not too sweet. The sausage egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich was hot and the egg was fluffy. They also gave us few extra donut holes that were still warm :) All of the employees were busy, busy! Despite this they were very attentive and kind. There was a small line upon arrival, but it went by fast. Such a cute, quaint donut shop. Would definitely recommend!

Seems like a popular place as a line formed once we got into line. It was noon on a Saturday and they still had plenty of options. I wish they had the apple cinnamon roll since it was on the menu. Got their apple fritter. My sister asked for a glazed old fashion but they gave her a plain one without the glaze so that was a bummer and it was too late for us to go back. Definitely make sure to check your order before leaving!

Everything in here looked so amazing. I only got the mini cream puffs and a donut and it was so delish. I'll definitely be coming back.

BJ is no joke!!!They have great treats from donut holes to fancy fritters and in between.... The cronuts are a must and it takes a while to get through all the treats. Very nice family owned business and very attentive to customers. Best donut shop in town for like 10 years running...
