This family-owned gem has a lot of heart and great food. The co-owner is full of energy and truly adds to the experience. If she knows you speak Japanese, get ready for a fun chat. she'll spill all the tea about the restaurant's community and business, which is a nice personal touch. The dim sum is a must-try, along with the scallop fried rice .both dishes are absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The small portion sizes are more than enough, so don't worry about overordering.Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for good food and an even better atmosphere!

Is it the best dim sum, maybe in GB. The food is pretty good.Shrimp and Beef rolls. The rice rolls was the perfect texture and sauce. Broccoli and chicken with steam rice: The kiddos didn't care for the chicken but the flavor is good. The sauce on the broccoli and chicken was good. Mixed perfectly with the steak rice. Chicken feet: good flavor and the perfect chewiness. Steam bbq pork bao: The bao was soft and fluffy. The instead meat had a different sweet flavor compared to other steam bbq bao. A good different.XLB: surprisingly this one was decent. It's not many places that has compared to DTF in SoCal. The only thing was that it was not piping hot like DTF. DTF still has the best dipping sauce that no one have been able to compare.Shrimp chow fun: my kiddos like it but maybe they were super hungry. My daughter ate the shrimp. Maybe it's me but many places the noodles have been shorter than usual. Hot and sour soup, surprisingly this soup was really good. It's been a long time since I had this soup. Perfect sourness and spice. I was surprised this place did not do those auto apply tips. Which I am happy they did not. The wait staff did not come back to check and we were a little low on water. I can't say much about the black bean spare rib. Had to take it to go.

Open For Christmas [Granite Bay CA]I called to make sure that they were open for Christmas Day and, yes, they were until 8:30p. I was pretty sure that we weren't the only ones that would be dining out on a Christmas Day so we made reservations for 12:30p dine-in, party of 3. The restaurant was indeed busy.Arrived exactly at 12:30p and we were given a table immediately. Inside was small and cozy. We perused through the 8-page menu... there were a lot of options to choose from including Lunch Specials and Family Dinners. We placed our orders for the following:* Pork Pot Stickers* Shrimp Chive Dumplings (3)* Lunch Special - Mongolian Beef* Lunch Special - Kung Pao Chicken I've never seen such huge pot stickers! Also, I thought three pieces of dumplings would not be enough but they were huge so I'm glad we only placed one order of the shrimp chive dumplings. The lunch specials came with a small egg roll and side order of soup and we each chose the egg drop and the hot & sour soup. Mmm... egg drop soup is my favorite and it was delicious.Looks like a family-run business. Customer service was great and food came fast. Food was okay but I'd like to come back to try other items on the menu (eyeing that salt & pepper chicken wings).Review #3638

The Best Dim Sum has the best dimsum at affordable price! We loved everything we ordered. I especially liked their Golden Shrimp Rice Roll and Spare ribs with black bean sauce. The owner is really nice. Service was great and fast. It looks like it's a family owned restaurant. Very homey.

Delicious food! Really nice staff as well. The pork buns, we tried them all, were amazing. The house fried rice was very tasty. Super nice flavors here and the soups were also great.

No photos but we ordered rice roll with Chinese donut inside, vegetable chow mein, steamed chicken feet, deep fried dumpling with pork (hom kok), shrimp dumplings, steamed sticky rice, deep fried sesame balls, and Singapore style fried rice noodles. Fast, friendly service and authentic Cantonese style dim sum. Good and tasty...would come again if in area! Drove over from San Francisco and enjoyed my family lunch!

I DoorDashed dinner a few days ago from Best Dim Sum. The food arrived quickly and was still warm. The serving sizes were reasonable. The order consisted of Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Honey Walnut Shrimp and White Rice. While I preferred the Honey Walnut Shrimp ... flavor wise, both were pretty good. However, with so many Asian / Chinese food options in the area, not sure I will order from them again ... soon.Competitively priced.

Catchy restaurant name but not the best dim sum for me. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Service is attentive. The menu is pretty large with Chinese dim sum, entrees, and weekday lunch special options.I ate her multiple times before but something seemed amiss on my recent visit for their dim sum. Let me begin with the good... pork sui mai and egg custard. The sui mai were a hefty dim sum serving size. They were seasoned mildly though. The egg custards were pretty good. Flaky crust that held up per bite and smooth glossy custard. However my fave fried pork dumpling tasted different from the last time I ate here. This time those little suckers were hard, not crispy but downright hard. I had to use my fingers to smush it a bit to soften the fried exterior. The interior filling was ok. But not worth breaking a tooth. They bring out dim sum items one at a time which I didn't prefer. There were several minutes in between each item. So it was an odd dining experience to eat dimsum one item at a time. I don't recall them doing this before., at least it would be a couple f items served together. Plus the place could use a deep clean.

Interior is small and a bit run down. There was only one person working and she did forget us for a bit, she even vocally noted it when she walked by our table. We ordered dim sum and I got a lunch plate too. The orange chicken was not very good. It had a thick sauce on it and it didn't taste like orange at all. The lunch soup my plate came with didn't taste like much either. The dim sum was pretty decent. Very on par with the other local dim sum

As their business name states... this is the best dim sum in Granite Bay! Still have plenty to explore as we're new to Roseville but this spot absolutely sets the bar high! This hole in the wall dim sum is small and isn't your typical Chinatown spacious restaurant with carts rolling around, but it will definitely satisfy your dim sum cravings just as successfully! Besides one hiccup with the beef rice noodle dish (tad overcooked), nearly everything we ordered was on point and brought us back to downtown LA Chinatown's delicious food spots. Service was fast, staff is very friendly (family run restaurant, I believe), space is small limited so call ahead of time for waiting time, clean environment, and plenty of parking spaces so don't worry about that. Having a dim sum craving? Look no further! Family friendly environment for everyone to enjoy. Oh and the eggplant with shrimp paste was soOoOoo good!
