Quick mention before i even start the rating. Idk how the owner allows this but i've had multiple expired items from here and the store doesn't seem to care. If they did they would throw the expired items and not try to sell them this is unacceptable! The last thing you should be worrying when shopping is this bs. if you are buying things here ALWAYS check the expiration date and make sure it's fresh i can't believe this is even a thing in america and how they get away with this but it is. Now on a positive note there's a nice variety of russian food and sweets here as a russian my self im happy this exists but the facts that i have to worry about the whole expiration thing really ruins the overall experience.

Nice little Russian store. I never leave here empty handed. The owner is always nice and courteous and the selection of the products is pretty good too.I usually only buy certain things when I go here: ketchup, caramel ice cream and caviar. Pretty good selection of refrigerated sausages, salamis and cheeses. Don't be afraid to ask for a taste! Two things I am not too happy about are: the service can be very slow sometimes (had to wait 25 minutes to be cashed out and my ice cream melted) and when the freshly baked bread is brought in, the driver just drops it off on the floor and leaves it there (I still bought two!). But I guess the sanitary conditions don't really matter much because the bread is always gone within minutes it's so good.

Great addition to the West Sacramento area. This is a small European market that has a great selection of cheeses and meats. It seems they get a daily delivery of fresh baked bread into the store, a must try at this location. A huge assortment of European candy/chocolates and other dry goods. Make sure you check your dates at this location, it seems they forget to do that on certain dry goods and drinks. Overall, it's a great little place to visit when you want to try something new.

Yuummy Candies and Yuummy Russian cakes. I asked for taste if you are unsure of anything. I love the Honey Cake, Choco Mocha and Walnut Merguire Cake. The frosting is very light which makes your brain think I could eat the whole piece. Price for cakes go by $6.99 a pound. The bulk candies go by weight also, starts at $4.99 - $7.99.I hate the wait time in here. I try to go there when no one is there or else i have to wait 30 mins to be waited on. There is only one person in there, she is very friendly and helpful.

Being a typical "Russian" store ran by "Russian" ppl this place has absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Things like sense of urgency are nonexistent, you would think they would at least make up for overpriced items by taking care of their customers but that seems to be flying over their head, not surprising.

This is the cake and the fungus. The owner of the store sold this cake with ZERO hesitance, knowing that it was expired. Shame and shame on you Vasiliy. Doesn't even deserve 1 star

One of the most expensive Russian stores. At the same time, the owner is not able to provide customers with proper service. At rush hour, he does not assign an additional employee - a long line is formed. Under quarantine conditions, the capacity of its premises does not allow maintaining the required distance between buyers in line, which is an offense and failure to comply with due measures. So, he runs his facility against the law of Mandatory Directive on Capacity Limitations. He doesn't respect people who bring him their money. Such is the disrespectful and primitive approach to business. He is keeping to save his money but not time=$ of customers.Good luck!
