I am very saddened to report a disappointing dining experience tonight at Bennett's Kitchen in Roseville. We had made reservations to celebrate our 25th anniversary on Valentine's Day here, having very very much enjoyed our experience at Bennett's in Rocklin. For starters, the atmosphere is much more sports bar than fine dining. We were taken to a small center 2-top table and told the adjacent 4-tops were being held for parties of 4 - only to have them subsequently seated with parties of 2. We were then left unattended for 15 minutes while those subsequent parties were warmly greeted and attended to. A kind waiter noted our neglect and rallied our server to come. She was nice and kind enough, though again left us to sit at our empty table another 5-10 minutes before waters were brought over. Shortly thereafter our salads arrived. The house salad with bleu cheese dressing was quite tasty, though my alleged Caesar salad arrived as a plate of romaine lettuce with a vinegarette dressing(?). The Jalapeno cornbread - which we had ordered to accompany the salads, and which was delicious! - arrived as we were finishing the salad, and our dinners shortly thereafter. Our small table was at this point crammed with plates as we proceeded to finish our salads and at least taste the cornbread.The BBQ ribs were epic, and the chicken enchiladas very tasty, though my first bite contained a chicken bone(?) We went on to finish our meals, content with our entrees, though our salad plates never were cleared to allow us room at our small table. All in all, while the food was good, our experience was a far cry from anniversary celebration special.

Welp. This place was really busy. Service was okay, it's like they had several parties going on at the same time with not enough staff to cover...BUT the food was way better than the service. All those parties must mean the food is ALL THAT!We had burgers, omelets, "smashed potatoes" and biscuits and gravy. We also tried the jalapeño cornbread with their orange flavored honey. The experience was overall great!

The service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly and professional with a great sense of humor.I loved sitting on the screened in porch. Even if it's a view of the parking lot it's still a very pleasant experienceThe chicken salad was perfect. They use rotisserie chicken which made it so much better. The dates and goat cheese made it even better.

Came here for a group dinner after work. Place is great for large parties as we had about 12. They were very understanding about separating the food on one bill and drinks on one bill. Our server knows his menu really well. I asked for a recommendation and he said, the meatloaf. I took his recommendation and it hit the spot! If waaay better than Cheesecake Factory. It was super moist and the mash was really good. Very smashed as it was smooth like butta'! Huge parking lot so parking isn't an issue! Server was great as he kept coming back asking how we were, how the food was and etc. definitely a go to if I'm ever in the area for work!!

Quick trip to Roseville and of course I wanted to try this restaurant because my fiancée Billy raves about it. We easily made reservations through the restaurant website and there was no wait at all. The ambiance is both fancy and relaxed, and we noticed lots of regulars there because it seemed like the servers knew everyone. Or are they just that friendly?! I had done my homework and had read lots of reviews praising the Mia Salad, but I didn't want a full order because I wanted to try other items too. Our server was able to order me a half-order, it was delicious with so many flavors and I still had leftovers. The porterhouse was a masterpiece, I purposely ate it slowly to savor each bite. I'm on your website right now looking at your menu and I can't wait to travel up north again for your "Bubbles & Brunch" and your "Wine & Dine Mondays"!

Bennett's on Eureka is a favorite! Great meeting space available and the food is always excellent. A bit noisy, but understandable because of the construction style. The staff makes every effort to make sure that you are comfortable. Try the steaks! Bennett's is a butcher shop 'ya know!

Barbara S.and me came for happy hour menu and drinks. Made a full meal of: guacamole & chips, wedge salad, hamburger, salmon sandwich. 3 cocktails, 1 beer.Plenty of food and drink. Happy hour prices are 20% lower than dinner prime time. Food quality is yeoman, not outstanding, though gott'a say that the french fries were extremely enjoyable and I usually do not like french fries.Complaint: Covered outdoor patio is not climate controlled. Was a distressing situation when the west facing screen windows began to have the sun blazing inside. By the time we finished dinner at 6:30pm the dining patio was 105 degrees. It was 111 degrees in the adjacent parking lot.I won't return during the hot summer season because of the heat that made me dizzy, nauseated and disoriented.Come on Bennett's, install windows and air conditioning!
