In regard to Ryan M. And his bs review. How dare you go in right before closing, receive good service from the best server at Bene, and then leave a hard ass working woman a $2 tip! Mind blown. No wonder your wife was apologizing for your behavior, and calling you an asshole. That behavior is so disrespectful and disgusting. Karmas a bitch. I'd be scared to eat out now. I would want to hock-tueeeee haha -2eeeee like your $2 tip, in your food!

We stopped here on a Saturday on our way back from South Lake Tahoe. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so when we arrived for dinner with our party of eight, there was about a 25-minute wait. Once we got seated, it was pretty hot inside the restaurant. Midway through our meal, they opened the door to let some air in, even though it was December, which was a little surprising. The pizza was good! We tried the Carnívoro and the Chicken Alfredo, and both were tasty. Our server was super nice; I wish I had gotten her name to give her a proper shoutout!Overall, it's a cute spot with good food.

Worst dining experience for a larger family. I entered the restaurant with my family of 9, five of us were mexican, two of us were black and the other two were white including a baby. The waitress stated they could not seat all of us, when we told them it would be a party of 9. I then looked around the restaurant and noticed the restaurant was almost entirely empty. I told the waitress that it would be fine even if we had to be seated separately as a group. They then sat 6 of us in a booth and 3 in a 2 person table. My mother in law asked if we could combine two tables so we could have more room. The waitress stated the owner does not allow that. My wife then later asked the manager if we could separate from the group and sit at an open 2 person table and we would even be willing to pay extra. The manager asked the owner and the owner denied the request. Another younger male waiter came to our table and stated, "They told me about the issue you're having but we can not combine tables due to it being Saturday and we need that extra table for more customers since it's our rush hour." The tables that we asked for remained empty until about 15 minutes before we left, when they combined two 2 person tables for 2 white males and 2 white females. We hoped we werent getting treated differently due to the majority of my family being minorities, but i can definitely say that my family and myself felt very uncomfortable since we entered. Also, we noticed the owner drinking alcohol the entire time. And He never bothered to come to our table and address the issue even though he was standing less than 6 feet away from our table the entire time. Other than that, the food and drinks were alright. This definitely would not be a place i would come back to nor recommend to anyone.

This location heavily discriminates against people with disabilities. I've been local to Placerville my whole life and (finally) decided to try this restaurant with my brother and family. My brother has a registered service dog (who was in a service collar) and had appropriate identification proving such. We asked to be seated as a party of five, pretty simple, but apparently not for the handle bar mustached, seriously inebriated owner, server or whatever the heck he was. He began to scream at us in front of the whole restaurant "THAT'S NOT A SERVICE DOG, HE'S OFF DUTY, I REFUSE YOU SERVICE... LEAVE NOW!" Again, my brother provided and pulled out of his wallet the registered service ID card for his k9 and the owner got louder. A) It's illegal to refuse someone service BECAUSE of their registered service animalB) It's illegal to begin with to ask someone to show identification for their service dog even though it was provided twice C) My family intends to file a claim with the ADA and pursue a lawsuit with two different attorneys who are now interested in picking up a case and possibly turning it into a class action because of the amount of people who have suffered the same treatment. D) Viscontis in Folsom has 10x better food and service and they allow folks with disabilities and their service animals without harassment and abuse.

Staying at Camino for the weekend w my best friends and we picked this place for dinner. When we got there there was a bit of a wait for a table but no problem, we were allowed to hang out by the bar and we ordered a bottle of red wine. Our table was ready within 15 mins We ordered an appetizer to share, a pasta dish and pizza to share. Everything tasted so good and huge portions! The service was pleasant even though they were very busy. Would def come back here again when in the area and craving Italian food

HOLY CRAP! My wife and I went here late on a Friday night because I had the best filet in my life here a while back. We showed up 30 minutes before closing and there were only a couple of tables with people at them still. OF COURSE, they ran out of filet so strike one. The table that we sat at was rocking terribly so, strike two! The owner was blasting Journey's greatest hits so I could not even hear my wife so, strike three! Now it gets interesting. The server that looked a little rough around the edges took our order and never returned until we got the check. The busser had to help us several times. Our server was busy screwing around up at the counter with what appeared to be the owner who was half drunk and couldn't walk straight. Then, some other gal was busy messing with her hair. She completely avoided us the whole time so I left a $2 tip and wrote an explanation on the back of the receipt. When we walked out, this crazy chick ran out of the restaurant and started screaming at us. Then, what appeared to be her boyfriend, some racket dude, started in as well dropping racial slurs and threatening our safety. I recorded the whole thing. This place has become a joke and is not safe. Stay clear and avoid eating here please.

We were there in January we didn't have a reservation but they found our party of 3 a table. Food was good not too bad of a wait. Waitress was friendly and made good suggestions. We will be back hopefully before the weather gets hot.

This place seems confused. My husband ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs with meat sauce. The waiter looked at him like he had 3 eyes. Waiter then tries to sell him on the linguini, husbands says "no I want spaghetti, specifically. Waiter says okay I'll see if it's a problem. Waiter never returns, food is delivered and it's Linguini? What? So we say something and the response is we don't have spaghetti here at all! Umm okay: 2-waters, 1 side dinner salad,2 bowls of pasta and $96 later, we won't be back! Said they were short staffed in the kitchen again also. Why does this restaurant have such high turnover over? Bummer
